Hey everyone. Episode 12 and Chapter 4 of Ruin DLC Arc are here! Lash is on the gondola, riding to the catwalks to reach Foxy's Fast Tracks. Enjoy!
Lash encounters another break while crawling through the vent. He falls into the gondolas, which he then discovers is Monty's Gator Gondola Ride. As Lash starts to enjoy the ride and seems calm after falling from the vent, he comes across a story depicting Monty's past. It appears that Monty once had a solo band called "Monty's One Man Jug Band." From what Lash can glean from the snippets, Monty seems to have met the animatronics at some point, including Bonnie. Surprisingly, Bonnie proposes for Monty to take his role, and then, in a humorous moment, Foxy gives Monty a mohawk haircut, transforming him into a Glamrock.
Further into the ride, Lash stumbles upon a scene where Bonnie shaves Monty's legs, much to Lash's surprise. He wonders why such a moment is featured in the ride, finding it rather odd and , as he takes in the attraction, can't help but notice and appreciate the attractive Glamrock figures of Freddy, Bonnie, Monty, and Foxy. This observation causes Lash to blush, and he admits to himself that he has a fondness for the male animatronics, with a special affinity for his favorite, Foxy Caribbean. The pirate-themed fox holds a particular charm for him.
Lash, realizing there's no track and the gondola is now going fast on its own with no way to stop, sees the front gondola go over the edge. In a split-second decision, Lash jumps off his gondola and falls onto the catwalks below. The ride, now detached, falls away into the abyss.
Lash got up and saw the catwalks he's in now. Then, I called Lash from Foxy-Talkie.
Lash, where are you?
Lash stands up and surveys his new surroundings, now on the catwalks. Then, his Foxy-Talkie crackles to life as you call out to him. He responds to your call.
Lash: I'm on the catwalks. Ended up here after the Monty ride.
Embrick: Hold on... The schematics say there's a way to redirect the Gondolas to the Maintenance room. Deactivate the security node. Then use the track controller.
Lash listens intently to your instructions, studying the schematics that show redirecting the Gondolas to the Maintenance room in order for him to deactivate the security node and access the track controller.
Embrick ends the call, leaving Lash to follow the newfound plan.
With the Security Mask on, Lash notices the Monty targets and a Monty-themed turret attached. He deduces that hitting the targets may be linked to raising the nearby catwalks, all following the same theme of takes aim with the Monty turret and hits the target, successfully raising the catwalk. He walks confidently onto the newly lowered platform, now able to progress further with the raised walkway.
As Lash moves forward along the catwalk, he can't help but notice a slippery surface beneath his feet. The floor feels slick, making each step precarious. Suddenly, a nearby box and an oil can tumble off the edge, falling into the abyss locates the security node requiring the removal of four child nodes. He quickly spots one in the form of a trash can, breaching it effortlessly. Then, he turns his attention to another target with the Monty turret, successfully raising another catwalk upon hitting it.
Lash advances through the catwalks, noticing a white glitch door nearby. He ventures through it into another section of the catwalks and suddenly feels unwell, causing him to puke. As he collects himself, Lash spots another child node, this one shaped like a Monty plush. He quickly deactivates it and, on a whim, decides to keep the plushy in his schoolbag.
Lash's journey through the catwalk continues as he encounters two more plushies - Sun and Moon - seemingly out of place in this area. Without hesitation, he decides to add them to the growing collection in his schoolbag.
Lash discovers another white glitch door, entering it and finding himself on a long catwalk. As he progresses, suddenly an ominous entity appears, seemingly about to give chase. However, the entity glitches out and vanishes abruptly.
Lash stands in silence for a moment, pondering what just occurred. He is left questioning why the entity suddenly disappeared before it could pursue him further. Helpi appears.
Helpi: I took care of it. The area is safe now...
Embrick called Lash and Helpi from Foxy-Talkie
Embrick: Yeah, with MY help. I upgraded Helpi with a signal jammer. That rabbit thing won't bother you anymore.
Lash is taken aback when Helpi appears and explains that the area is now safe thanks to their intervention. Then, you call in through the Foxy-Talkie, claiming credit for upgrading Helpi with a signal jammer, effectively preventing that rabbit entity from hindering Lash.
Helpi disappears and Embrick hangs up. At the white door, Lash swiftly locates the third child node, now in the form of a gray drawer. He easily breaches it, making quick work of deactivating the node.
Lash presses forward on the ruined and broken catwalks, eventually discovering the final child node that is shaped like a chair. He efficiently breaches it and hurries back to the parent node to deactivate it, opening the maintenance doors above. With the maintenance doors now accessible, Lash promptly unlocks the gondola ride's conduit using the Faz Wrench. He steps into the ride, which then suddenly stops in the maintenance room, known as Monty's Ride Repair. Lastly, Lash gets out of the ride, ready to proceed further.
Embrick called Lash from Foxy-Talkie.
Embrick: You did great! You're getting closer!
You call Lash on the Foxy-Talkie, congratulating him on his progress and informing him that he's getting closer to his destination. Lash, however, is baffled and queries you about your knowledge regarding these various details and actions. He asks
Lash: How do you know all of this if you were kidnapped?
Embrick: I'll explain it all when you get here. Oh shit! That thing is here again. I gotta hide. Save me, Lash, Please.
Lash is left puzzled as you abruptly end the call and reveal that the mysterious entity has reappeared. You urgently plead for Lash's help, asking him to save you. With determination, Lash prepares himself to confront this enemy.
Lash steps into the cupcake-making machine, where all the conduits are currently locked and powered down. He quickly activates the Faz Wrench and successfully unlocks all the conduits, allowing the machine to turn on. As the machine hums to life, Lash catches a glimpse of Chica riding on the conveyor belt inside.
Lash utilizes the second conveyor belt, which travels on the exterior side of the cupcake-making machine. He activates the Security Mask and successfully passes through the closed gate. However, unexpectedly, the mysterious entity appears once more. Lash quickly presses the AR jammer button, only to be greeted by a jumpscare. Lash receives a headache and finds himself ejected from the V.A.N.N.I. network, leaving him disoriented and shaken.
Lash reaches for his Foxy-Talkie and calls out to Helpi, frustrated that the entity is still present despite the fact that it should have been dealt with according to Helpi. Lash demands an explanation.
Helpi: Looks like the entity has bypassed my signal jammer and activates on its own. That device down there is an "AR Inhibitor". You will be unable to access the V.A.N.N.I. network until it is deactivated.
Lash listens to Helpi's explanation, dismayed to hear that the entity has managed to circumvent the signal jammer and is now operating independently. Helpi then informs him about the "AR Inhibitor" located beneath, which is preventing him from accessing the V.A.N.N.I. network. Helpi vanishes, leaving Lash to digest this information.
Lash uses the Faz Wrench to unlock the door, finding himself at the top of a bridge. He spots Chica riding on the conveyor belt as she unexpectedly falls off. Suddenly, the colossal cupcake takes notice of him, maneuvering the giant spatula to forcefully shove Lash off the bridge, plummeting him to the floor below.
Lash quickly picks himself up from the fall, feeling no apparent harm. He strolls through the gate, now situated outside the Cupcake Shoppe. Meanwhile, Chica rises and roams the area, busily foraging through trash and consuming it. Lash observes the trash bag attached to Chica's waist, perplexed at the realization that animatronics can seemingly eat and digest.
Lash spots the camera system and notices the "E" button on it. Upon pressing it, to his surprise, the system spoke in his voice, asking, "Embrick, are you there?" Realizing the potential of this feature, Lash formulates a plan. He carefully distracts Chica by luring her away while using the voice button on the camera system.
Lash swiftly makes his way toward the bakery's entrance, narrowly evading Chica's grasp as she is obstructed by concrete. Once inside the bakery, Lash can't help but appreciate the delicious scents and treats, admiring the wide variety of pastries available. He particularly enjoys the sweets, a stark contrast to his dislike for vegetables. Lash comes across a Cupcake Plush and happily decides to keep it, placing it in his schoolbag for safekeeping.
Lash spots the AR Inhibitor and promptly presses the button, activating it. This action allows him to engage in the V.A.N.N.I. network once more as he donned the Security Mask.
Lash leaves the bakery and goes to the hallway. He wears the mask when he reaches the blocked door. He went through and now in the upper east server room. Helpi appears.
Helpi: Good job, technician. You have gained access to the upper east server room. You should be safe from the entity here. They won't be tracking you here for now. By deactivating the parent nodes, you have restored power to the east side of the Mega Pizzaplex. If you deactivated all the parents nodes in the west, you should be able to reach your stepbrother under Foxy's Fast Track.
Lash advances from the bakery into the hallway, donning his Security Mask as he approaches the blocked door. Once he passes through, he finds himself in the upper east server room. Helpi appears and praises his efforts, informing him that he's now safe from the entity in this area. Lash learns that by deactivating parent nodes, he has restored power to the east side of the Mega Pizzaplex. Helpi further advises him that if he deactivates all the nodes in the west sector, he can reach his stepbrother beneath Foxy's Fast Track.
