In the manor, Charity and Sharon took Shane to get his nose fixed. He wanted to be ready for tomorrow by any means. Even if it meant resting all day after it was all over.
The Louds were worried and hoped for the , he came home to rest as everyone let him rest.
Kat came into the hospital holding a super mushroom. "Sis, eat up." Kat says.
Ana was shaking as Kat got closer going to feed it to her. She sighed as Ana would not calm down and left.
The next day, Shane came out of his room feeling ready.
"I'm ready for today." Shane says.
"Yay!" Shelby says.
"Your new nose looks great, honey." Sharon says to Shane.
"Yeah, you're going to do great tonight!" Shiloh says.
Meanwhile, Melony woke up as it was her birthday. She realized that the show was also tonight, so her party was going to be before the show.
"Oh, yeah I'm back in the show this is going to be great performing alongside Garrett again." Melony says.
Lucy was smiling at her opera themed party plans. She and Cuphead would give Luke an opera show with a piano.
"An opera may bore Luke." Lola says. "Why is it an opera theme, anyway?"
"Because he's never been to an opera. You guys always take him away." Lucy says
"There's a reason and because it's boring" Lana says
Lucy looked down and walked out of the room.
"Do you all think it's boring?" Lucy asked as the Louds began giving fake excuses, except Luna, who is a music artist, and embraces any genre of music she can. She recently got into pop and country music, so she added that to the genres she liked most.
"Okay, I'll go to his party without you." Lucy says.
"Why not ask Luke what he wants?" Leni asked.
"Yeah, we had Leni plan it out and she had this idea for a memory lane themed party where we go on a rollercoaster and see Luke's greatest performances." Lisa says. "Luke loves roller coasters and fair rides."
Later, the Cosmic buddies took Melony to a bunch of places, but ended up sort of hurting her feelings as they took her to the mall and library, places Melony hated.
Later, she came home as Confetti fell on her
"Happy 13th birthday!" Everyone says
"Yay, me." She says. She sat and opened some presents as Garrett sat with her.
"Maybe we should rehearse or something." Melony says.
"Open some presents, then we'll go do that." Garrett says. Melony does just that.
She opens Garrett's gift, which was a toy airplane
"Thanks, Garrett." she says. Garrett smiles.
After a few more gifts, they go to rehearse as Melissa followed.
With Shane, his friends were happy to see him back to good health.
They begin to rehearse as Marcy was going to watch on TV since she lived in Boston.
Fans were excited to see Luke, Mugman, Shane, Garrett, Beau and Remy.
The Adventure Kids came in. "Hey, Luke. Hello, Shane and everyone else." They say.
Cynthia noticed Shane's nose job.
"You recovered? That's nice." Cynthia says.
"It hurts, but I'm performing tonight. Then Luke is taking me to a teahouse afterwards and then home to sleep. Nose jobs aren't a joke." Shane says.
Kat had mixed the mushroom into Ana's food and watched her eat.
"Any moment now…" Kat says but nothing happened
"Dang it." Kat says and leaped away.
"I just wanna make things right, but she won't talk to me." Kat says.
Kat sees trouble and leaps after it. She sees a corrupt ninja vandalizing Royal Woods.
"Hey, you, stop right there." Kat says and leaped towards it trying to attack, but the ninja was too fast as it dodged her attacks.
Kat was sent down. The ninja goes for a strike but Ana came in for the save.
"Leave my sister alone!" Ana says.
"Ana!" Kat says as they hug before leaping towards the ninja tossing shurikens at him. He deflects them as they kick him and toss more as he dodges and runs away.
"I'm so sorry!" Kat sobbed
"I forgive you." Ana said and hugged back.
Soon, the show was starting as fans were cheering, excited for Shane's return.
Gemma took the stage as fans cheered. Dave was alongside her.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you back to the Royal Woods Civic Center! The second episode of season 8 is upon us, and tonight is our first quintuple elimination night, so we will make a top 35 for our Country Night show in Nashville, Tennessee." Gemma says.
"The platinum button will be in play tonight. Any of our judges can press it to guarantee a team a spot in the next show if their performance is worthy of such a treatment." Dave says.
"Tonight is our Rock & Roll Rules show! Our teams will be performing rock and roll songs to rock our world! Coming up first, The Adventure Kids!" Gemma says as fans cheered.
They came out as fans cheered. The group then performed I Love Rock & Roll by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
The crowd loved their song and cheered.
Luke was sitting as Shane was combing his curls.
"The crowd really loves me and is excited to see me!" Shane says.
Boys fainted at the sight of the Adventure Kids' costumes as Cynthia smirked.
They finished as they walked offstage.
Shane then felt as nervous as ever.
Melony walked by. "I want to apologize to you." she says.
"It's okay." Shane says, sipping some water.
"Hey, Melony, check out this cake I baked." Savannah says
"I suppose you want me to read the cake?" Melony asked.
"Yeah, Luke always loves that." Savannah says
"I'm not Luke. What's wrong with you people? I'm blind, I can't read!" Melony says as Savannah mentally scolds herself for forgetting.
"Cuppy and Mugsy!" Fans chanted.
"Wait…Mugsy, I'm in the show with you?" Cuphead looked confused.
"Yeah, fans saw us make up, and demanded you return and I could use some extra help winning." Mugman says.
Fans screamed, seeing them come out as Melony sighed. She and Shane grew anxious hearing this.
Shane thought he had no chance anymore. Shane stood up, stumbling as he walked out of the civic center.
"So, Melony, nice shoes." A boy says as the bullies walk towards her.
"Get back." Melony says, moving against the wall.
"A blind girl like you is going to ruin the show." The leader says.
"I kicked your butts before and I'll do it again" Melony says she charged forward, but the leader tripped her down.
Garrett looked annoyed by this and picked up the bullies, throwing them to the security guards. Garrett then stormed out as Melony looked down.
"Garrett, please don't leave me!" Melony says.
"Those bullies aren't in this show. They got back here just to mess with you. You can't be fighting while the show is live!" Garrett says.
"I'm sorry." Melony says, getting up.
Cuphead, Mugman, Mona, Art, and Deco were performing their rendition of Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard.
Fans cheered and screamed their hearts out, especially during Mona's solo. Mugman had multiple in the past, so it was only fair.
Boys fainted, then Mugman had his solo as girls screamed and fainted. The fans were going nuts for them.
Dave thinks about the button and if they should get that treatment.
Shane was outside the civic center, sobbing.
"Mugman and Cuphead stole my spotlight." Shane sniffed.
Shane threw his guitar away and walked far from the civic center.
"We won an award, we won an award!" Kat and Ana chant as they were on patrol bouncing around, still holding their trophy.
"And the ninja twins are back together once again!" Kat says.
"I understand you were trying to get us away from our so-called friends, but next time we just book a hotel." Ana says.
"Got it." Kat says as they took out robbers in Royal Woods and tied them up in about 15 seconds.
Meanwhile, Melissa felt bad for Melony, who walked out of the civic center.
"Melony, you can't quit on Garrett." Melissa says.
"They're right, I'm blind. I can't do this." Melony says. "I mean Shane gave up on Luke."
Luke sniffed, coming out to find Shane. Luna finds Shane as well.
"Hey, cuz, what's wrong?" Luna asked.
"The fans don't like me anymore!" Shane says as Kat and Ana land.
"We won an award!" They chanted "Oh, good luck on your return. We're going to keep ninja bouncing."
"Can you two stay? Shane needs all the suppor-Ana, what are you doing out of the hospital?" Luna asked.
"Kat healed me." Ana says
"Sure, whatever it takes." Kat says.
Shane was very mad.
"What happened?" Luna asked
"Mugman stole my fans…Tell them I won't be returning tonight!" Shane says as he stormed off toward the car.
Soon it was break time.
"Should we delay the show?" Dave asked.
"Shane is mad. He even said he may not return tonight." Gemma says.
Mugman finds Shane. "Shane, I'm sorry!" Mugman says.
"They can have you! I won't come in!" Shane sniffed.
"Shane Luke needs you and Penny needs you. Plus, I won't steal your fans again. Honestly, they were just happy to see that Cuphead was back." Mugman says.
"I was supposed to make a grand return! That isn't happening now!" Shane says.
Mugman hears fans chanting for Shane, wanting him and threatening to leave if Shane didn't return.
"I'm sure you'll have a grand return. If you give up, you won't know what you're missing and Luke will be really upset." Mugman says. Shane sniffs.
"Fine…" Shane says.
"Ladies and gentlemen, coming up next is the team of Remy, Melissa, Melony, Beau and Garrett Huntington!" Gemma says as fans cheered.
They performed Bad Case Of Lovin' You (Doctor, Doctor) by Robert Palmer. They cheered and smiled, mainly for the boys.
Soon…
"Coming up next are the stars of the show, Penny Crygor, Sal, Luke Huntington, and Shane Loud!" Gemma says as fans screamed for Shane as the show was really about his return, not Cuphead's return or Melony's birthday. Shane and his team were really the only thing that mattered in the show tonight.
Fans cheered, seeing them come out. They performed Complicated by Avril Lavigne.
Girls screamed for Shane as he did a solo and they fainted. He smiled a bit. Soon, they finished as Dave hit the platinum button.
Luke screamed with joy. Shane couldn't help but smile at this.
The Foxes soon came out to cheers not as much as Shane. But Oliver honestly didn't care, as long as he got cheers. They performed Back In Black by AC/DC.
Fans cheered for the Foxes.
Luke was at the tea house with Shane, glad he wasn't eliminated.
