Chapter 6: Little Eddie Wakes

Bella released her hold on Jake, her posture straightening as she stepped closer to Edward. Jake joined her, and together they stood over him, watching as his eyes fluttered open. Edward blinked, his expression confused, clearly struggling to make sense of where he was.

"Bella?" Edward croaked, his voice weak as he squinted up at her.

"Yes, Edward?" Bella replied, her voice sweet, but the undercurrent of frustration was unmistakable.

Edward groaned again, lifting a hand to rub his face as though trying to shake the haze from his mind. His eyes scanned the room, finally settling on his body. "What happened? Did we... you know?" His voice trailed off as he noticed Bella standing fully clothed in front of him. The confusion in his eyes deepened as he lifted his head fully, finally registering his complete lack of clothing.

"Why am I on the floor? Why am I naked?" he asked, his tone rising in panic. Instinctively, Edward used both hands to cover his crotch, though with his size, one thumb might have sufficed.

"No, Edward," Bella said, her voice shifting from sweetness to firm resolve. "We didn't do it. I'm sorry to say, but you missed your chance." Her tone sharpened as she crossed her arms over her chest, a flicker of frustration flashing in her eyes. "It's over, Edward. That was the final straw."

Edward blinked, trying to process what she was saying, but the reality of her words hit him slowly. "What... what do you mean it's over?" His eyes darted between Bella and Jake, a growing unease creeping into his expression. "What is Jake doing here?" he asked, finally pushing himself to a sitting position, his face flushed with embarrassment.

Bella didn't miss a beat. "Jake saved the day—and my ass," she said, a small but meaningful smile crossing her lips as she reached for Jake's hand, giving it a grateful squeeze. "But let me make something crystal clear, Edward," she continued, her voice hardening. "Don't ever pull this kind of shit with any other girl. I don't care what crazy stuff your family is into, normal girls do not like bondage. I was just horny and stupid enough to throw my good judgment out the window. Got it?"

Edward, now standing awkwardly, tried to cover himself as he reached for his discarded clothes. "Okay, Bella," he mumbled, clearly uncomfortable as he fumbled to pull on his pants. "I get it. I'll see you at school." He paused, his voice dropping to a pleading tone. "And, uh, if you could… please don't tell anyone about this."

Bella rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Jesus, Edward," she said, her voice dripping with disbelief. "I'm the one who should be asking you not to tell anyone about this. I'm the idiot who let herself get naked and chained to a bed."

Edward quickly nodded, avoiding eye contact as he finished dressing. "Right... Okay... It never happened," he muttered, "Bye, Bella."

With that, he hurried out of the room, practically tripping over his own feet in his haste to leave. A few seconds later, they heard the slam of the front door.

Bella let out a long, exasperated breath and turned back to Jake, her expression softening as she shook her head. The weight of the moment seemed to lift slightly, and her shoulders relaxed. "Well," she said with a faint smile, "it feels good to finally get out of that unhealthy relationship." She paused, looking at him with a mixture of relief and curiosity. "So, Jake, now that you have your shot, what are your plans?"

Jake grinned, the playful light in his eyes unmistakable. He took a moment to consider his response, leaning back slightly as if imagining the perfect day. "How about a picnic on the cliffs above First Beach?" he suggested. "The view is breathtaking up there—the sea stretching out forever, the waves crashing against the rocks below. And if you're feeling adventurous..." His grin widened as a teasing glint entered his eyes. "We could even go cliff diving. It's an adrenaline rush like no other. I'll be sure to bring my bathing suit... you'll be naked, of course."

He smirked, pleased to see Bella's grin widen as she playfully slapped his chest.

Bella couldn't help laughing at his teasing. What else could she expect after the show she had given him? "Always with the jokes, huh?" she replied, her smile genuine. "But honestly, that sounds perfect, Jake. A picnic, some cliff diving... it really does sound perfect." Her eyes lingered on his for a moment. "How about this Saturday?"

"Saturday it is," Jake said, nodding enthusiastically. "I'll pick you up around 10:00. We can spend the whole day out there, just the two of us. I'm really looking forward to it."

"Me too," Bella replied, then paused for a moment, raising her eyebrows. "I hope I don't have to tell you, but please don't share any details of today with your friends, Jake." She looked at him pointedly, though with a playful smile. "You can tell them I dumped little Eddie and that we're going out now. I'm sure they'll be impressed that you nabbed the hot older chick."

Jake laughed, the sound warm and genuine. "Oh, trust me, they're going to be speechless. But don't worry, Bella," he said with a grin, "I won't breathe a word about what really happened here today."

"Good," Bella said with a chuckle. "I'm glad we're on the same page."

Bella looked up at Jake, her smile warm, but a mischievous glint sparkled in her eyes as a thought crossed her mind. She tilted her head slightly, leaning into the playfulness of the moment. "You know, Jake," she said, her tone teasing, "now that the barriers between us are pretty much gone, tell me the truth. How often are you going to be jerking off to the memory of me naked and chained up on my bed?"

Jake blinked, caught off guard by her bluntness, but quickly grinned, loving her straightforwardness. He leaned in a little closer, his voice dropping to match the playful tone. "Truthfully, Bella," he said, his grin widening, "probably every day for the rest of my life—starting as soon as I get home."

Bella threw her head back and laughed. She shook her head in amusement, clearly enjoying the banter. "At least I know you're honest," she replied with a playful smirk, her eyes twinkling. Her gaze softened slightly as she met his eyes. "I'll see you on Saturday, Jake," she said, her voice still holding that teasing lilt but carrying a hint of warmth beneath it.

Jake smiled back, the connection between them feeling natural, even after the strange events of the day. "See you then, Bella," he said, his grin lingering as he turned to leave.
