On May 1st, Drell was sending the cosmic buddies on a trip to hone their skills.
"You two take care." Savannah tells her siblings as Emila had her arms crossed.
"Guys, we can't go. The Foxes are planning something. I need your help to stop it." Melony says, then gets an idea. Drag Garrett on an adventure. But he had made it clear to her that the last thing he wanted was to be dragged on a dangerous adventure again. She had tried to do that before and Garrett came back bruised up.
Garrett was wearing a shock collar that was put on him by Oliver.
"How do you like it, Miller?" Oliver asked, smirking.
"I think I like this…a bit." Garrett says.
"You're in for a day of magical torture." Pam says.
"Anyone who tries to interfere will have to deal with the magical and fierce four-headed guard dog, then a bunch of magical obstacles." Griffin says.
Emma came to see this as she didn't go with the others.
Stevie looks at Garrett. "If you try to resist the torture, that collar will send a shock through your body." He says.
Rachel grins. "Let the day of magical torture begin!" She says.
She watched as he was forced to eat canned dog food. The chunky kind. He hated this, but it was better than being dragged on a dangerous adventure.
Meanwhile, the cosmic buddies were in the party dimension, dancing and stuff.
"I tried to get Garrett but he said no." Melony says as they had set up a party for Garrett, but he was a no show.
"Why are we trying to give him a party again?" Jason asked.
"To cheer him up." Melony says.
Pam and Emma made a doghouse for Garrett. Garrett crawled into it. Later, it was raining heavily as he cried.
Meanwhile…
"Katana! Katana!" the twins chanted as their birthday was next week. Luke looked annoyed by this.
"Honey, next month is about you, remember?" Charity reminded him. "You have your half birthday on June 15th."
He smiles at the thought of that. Charity didn't mention Garrett's birthday, which would be on June 25th. He was going to be 18 before Luke. She also didn't mention Oliver's birthday. Oliver would also be turning 18.
Garrett later crawled out of the doghouse. He shivered and whimpered.
Soon, Griffin made him pee on a tree like a dog. Garrett did so. The Foxes' neighbors pointed and laughed.
Garrett looks down. He really felt like crap. Animal crap.
"Bark." Rachel says. Garrett barked like a dog. He then pooped in the grass like a dog.
Emma was annoyed that they went to a party dimension without her.
Later, Kat and Ana were giggling and writing invitations to their 7th birthday party.
Ana sniffed, remembering her real mother and began to cry.
"So, what would you ladies like for your birthday?" Charity asked them. "I mean, besides the circus, which I know is coming to your party…"
Kat thinks, but Ana wants to be alone at the moment.
"They're getting a circus at their party?!" Luke crossed his arms. "No fair!"
Lucy hugged him. Luke still sulked.
With Garrett, he sobbed as he was being walked through the Foxes' neighborhood like a dog. Garrett's face was red and he felt very embarrassed.
Luke sees this. "Hello, dog." Luke says.
He looks down.
"So, at my party after your half birthday, Luke, it will be the grand finale of humiliation city." Oliver says as Luke grinned widely.
"I love this idea so much!" Luke says. He high fives Oliver.
"What should we do to ensure that interference won't be a part of it?" Luke asked Oliver.
Oliver wasn't sure how to deal with Melony. These days, she was going to Lucy levels of overprotection. But Pam knew what to do. She would ensure that Melony wouldn't even be around that day.
Melony was nervous, not wanting Garrett to suffer; she hated this whole slave thing. She was beginning to actually hate Luke and the Foxes for going too far. She knew the show was coming up and she knew this may affect their act and if they failed, Remy's chances would be dashed away.
She began to formulate a plan in her mind.
"Brandy, he's suffering from something that we did. We were invited there and we beat Luke too. Why is he suffering alone? Tell me!" She asked and punched him in the face, sending him down as Angry Luigi got up.
"What is wrong with you?!" Angry Luigi asked " Akito and Estelle beat Luke and the Foxes, not me." Angry Luigi says.
"We were on a team with them!" she shrieked
"Yeah, more for support." Angry Luigi says as she tries punching him, but he dodges and uses a tanooki leaf to fly up since she can't see people in the air, nor sense them.
"Coward!" Melony says as Savannah tries to calm her down.
"Calm down." Savannah says "Look, guys, when Garrett's slave time is up, we will throw him a party." Savannah says.
With Garrett, he arrived home to see Luke and Jason watching a movie about a farmer feeding his watch dog.
"No! No! Not again!" Garrett screamed and rushed up the stairs.
"Oh, yes, again!" Luke says. But Forest grabbed Luke.
"Let him be." Forest says. "Would you like me to cancel your half birthday party?"
"No." Luke says and texted the Foxes and Shane saying the slave days were over. Until June 16th.
"We'll be ready." Oliver texted back.
"We're using Jason's style." Luke texted.
"What's that?" Oliver texted.
"You know how Jason lives on a farm?" Luke texted.
"Yeah." Oliver texted.
"His watchdog died." Luke texted.
"I know about that. What are you thinking?" Oliver texted.
"Getting Garrett to be the watchdog for the day." Luke texted.
"I love it!" Oliver texted. "It's perfect!"
Charity was currently giving Garrett a bath as he sobbed.
"It was awful…" Garrett sniffed.
Kat and Ana wince. "Animal training…" they sniffled as they pitied Garrett.
Garrett shivered as Charity scrubbed his back.
"No more!" he sobbed. "I LEARNED MY LESSON! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT ALL GO AWAY!"
"There, there, sweetheart…it's all right now…" Charity says, wrapping Garrett in a towel and holding him close. She then took him to bed.
Soon, Melony came to keep him company. Garrett had cried himself to sleep. She holds him close.
Gabriel had seen the whole thing from the cameras he had installed at home. He had watched everything happen through his computer. He was concerned for Garrett.
"Pam, are you sure you should be doing this?" Emma asked.
"I really don't want to, but he humiliated me on the big screen…" Pam sniffed.
Emma hugged Pam.
The ninja twins felt unsure about celebrating their birthday, having to see Garrett endure such cruel and torturous punishments.
Luke smiled. That meant there would be no birthdays except for his own.
"Do you at least want your circus cake on your birthday, girls?" Charity asked the twins.
"Yes! Can Garrett get the biggest piece instead of us?" Kat asked Charity.
"Of course he can." Charity says.
This gives Luke an idea. He would scare his siblings out of birthdays or not attend. But he knew that he ruined his mother's birthday back in December when he did this and it got him dinner dishwashing duty for a month.
On May 8th, the twins woke up. This slave thing traumatized the twins. Charity had invited 5-Volt to help console the twins. 7-Volt was taking care of the boys for the day. Charity also decided to do homeschool work with the twins after breakfast.
"They had to do that animal thing as part of their training." 5-Volt sighed.
"They told me and Forest all about it a few times. I know this whole thing traumatized the girls." Charity says. "Kat? Ana? Would you like to show Ms. 5-Volt what you're working on for part of your homeschooling work?"
The twins nod and get their copies of the book That's Why We Don't Eat Animals- A Book About Vegans, Vegetarians, and All Living Things.
"We're reading this book during our ELA time and talking about it. Kat and Ana seem to like this book a lot." Charity says.
"I can see that. When did you start homeschooling them?" 5-Volt asked.
"When winter break ended, which was in early January. They're thriving and learning more than they did in regular school." Charity says.
"I can tell. They've become smarter." 5-Volt says. "So, what's the plan today for their birthday?"
"We're going to do a half-day of homeschool stuff, then we're going to go to lunch at the vegan restaurant. After that, I'm taking them shopping at the toy store, then we're just going to have a pizza night and their cake." Charity says. "I plan on saving Garrett his piece of cake while the others get to have their share."
"Can the boys come by later?" 5-Volt asked.
"I think Kat and Ana would love that." Charity says.
Melony had taken Garrett to her house as not much was there. But Garrett didn't want to be around Luke or the others today. Melony holds him.
"It was awful…" Garrett says.
Charity later worked with Kat and Ana on their homeschooling stuff. They were doing well with their work and finished before going to lunch.
After that, Charity took them to the toy store.
"Do you girls see anything you like?" Charity asked Kat and Ana.
They look as Ana sees a toy Garrett would like.
"Oh, this basketball will be perfect for Garrett! Is this your birthday present for him this year, Ana?" Charity asked. She nods.
Kat sees a cool toy.
"What did you find, sweetie?" Charity asked her. It was a Lego Ninjago Lego set she really wanted.
"Well, I see you have good taste, sweetie!" Charity tells Kat.
Ana was seen with the basketball, Rollerblade Barbie and Ken dolls, and a Barbie 3-Story Dreamhouse dollhouse. Charity was smiling as she paid for all the toys.
With Garrett, he had spent a lot of time with Melony and he was heading home for dinner that night. Charity had made it clear to the siblings that if the incidents were brought up, there would be punishments dealt out to those who mention any of it.
Kat and Ana smile at Garrett, who was eating his pizza. 9- and 18-Volt ate their pizza the quickest.
Ashley watched this. She was eating in silence.
Later, Ashley goes upstairs as Charity goes to get the cake. She soon brings it to the dining room. It was a sheet cake with a circus theme on it, and Kat and Ana's pictures were in the icing. Two sets of seven candles were lit on two sides of the cake. The cake read Happy Spectacular Seventh Birthday, Kat & Ana!
"Girls, what do you think? Did I do a good job?" Charity asked.
They smiled and nodded. Shane led off the birthday song as everyone else sang along. Kat and Ana smiled at everyone before they made a wish.
They wished that Garrett would get better, then blew out the candles on their cake. They then gave Garrett the biggest piece of cake with Charity's help.
"Boys! Come have some cake!" 5-Volt says to 9-Volt and 18-Volt.
They came and got their pieces, ate their share of the cake, then went back to their games.
Garrett smiled and ate his cake.
After their small party, the ninja twins snuggle up to Garrett and fall asleep.
