On June 10th, Emma and Jerbo were going to be in a play as Angry Luigi and Alem tuber were helping Emma dress up. Emma was the main star, Annie, and Jerbo was Warbucks. It was going to be a big night for both of them as this was their first play. Well, Emma's first play, anyway. Jerbo had been in plays before.

Skylia considered adopting Skara as Hunter would be with the Foxes since he'd be closer to Willow. Hunter knew Willow had two dads.

"Do you want to stay with us?" Skylia asked Skara.

"Of course. But I'll have you know that I am dating Boscha. Take that as you see fit." Skara says.

"We don't judge." Skylia says.

There would be a massive audience.

Emma was nervous about having a new sister as the last one didn't work out. She then got ready.

Jerbo felt very nervous. This was his first play in a long while. Viney gives a thumbs up to Jerbo as Willow, Gus, and the rest show up. Jerbo shook. Emma also shook.

When his parts in the play came up later, Jerbo completely forgot all of his lines and got stage fright.

The play had to be put on pause as Emma feels bad.

"Hey, it's okay, you got this." Emma says

Soon the play continued as Emma froze at the singing part but managed to sing well

At the end, everyone bowed as the fans clapped, but Emma ran off crying and embarrassed. She botched it.

"You were great." Savannah says to Jerbo.

"You did great, son." Savannah's dad says. That didn't make Jerbo feel any better.

"Look, we all make mistakes." Savannah says.

"So, when is your birthday?" Skylia asked her new daughter, Skara.

"October 13th." Skara says matter-of-factly.

Jerbo abandoned his parents and friends as he ran off. He didn't want to be praised right now.

Savannah gave him his space.

Emma didn't want to speak to Skara, knowing Skara wanted nothing to do with her as of right now.

On June 11th, Lucy took Luke out to get him hyped for his half birthday. Luna was with Shane, attending a concert.

Luke just looked around. "You never do this." Luke says. "You never take me out before my half birthday."

"I wanted to change things up since you're close to turning 18." Lucy says.

"Okay. Whatever you say." Luke says as he walks with Lucy.

She took Luke shopping, then he went to a photoshoot to promote the ANH quarterfinals.

Girls fainted at the sight of him. Luke just smiled.

At home, Skara was getting adjusted as the twins and Emma left her to be alone as the twins were chatting and Emma was alone.

Skara was working on her Bard Coven exercises as she sang high notes, low notes, and notes that were in-between while working on her symphokinesis.

Emma wanted to cheer for her, but walked away. She left a note, saying Skara had more potential, like Jerbo. Skara blushed a bit. She didn't think anyone saw anything in her. This was her very first compliment.

With Hunter, he adjusted nicely and Gabriel was dating Victoria. He loved everything about Victoria and how she was a gem for caring for Remy all on her own.

They moved in, so it was the 9 of them: Gabriel, Victoria, Pam, Stevie, Griffin, Rachel, Oliver, Hunter, and Remy.

"How are you fitting in?" Oliver asked Hunter.

"It's kinda nice." Hunter says. "It's better than where I've been living most of my life. Never had a hot meal, a warm bed, decent clothes…or a proper birthday. I don't even know when it is, honestly. I've done the whole Emperor's coven thing and lived on my own after it, like, disbanded, so I've never really known when it was."

Oliver decided to celebrate it tomorrow, June 12th.

(a nice nod to the premiere of season 2, his debut)

That night, Luz and Amity were teaming up to give Hunter a proper birthday. Luke was really doing all the work.

"You've come to the right person, ladies." Luke says.

The next day, Hunter woke up in the middle of his gold-colored bed, yawning. He climbs out of bed and gets a shower in his bathroom, somehow grateful for a bit of peace this morning.

Luz was making a birthday breakfast. Hunter had no idea she was here.

Hunter then dressed in his AC/DC Back In Black t-shirt, jungle camouflage cargo shorts, and new brown sandals he bought recently. He then brushed his hair and went down to breakfast.

"Happy birthday, Hunter!" Everyone says.

"Cinnamon rolls? They do look delicious…" Hunter says.

He tastes one. "Mmmm! Yes, that is delicious!" Hunter says. "How many am I allowed to eat?"

"All!" Remy says.

"You've eaten already?" Hunter looks at the group. "I don't want you guys to like, go hungry…"

"It's your birthday." Oliver says.

Hunter shares his breakfast, allowing himself to share some of the cinnamon rolls with his new siblings and Luz. He then has eight cinnamon rolls all to himself.

Meanwhile

"You two wanna hang out?" Skara asked as Angry Luigi was shy and Alem tuber left the house.

"Ehhh…" Skara shrugged and video-called Boscha on her scroll.

"You wanna hang out till the party?" Skara asked.

"Sure, I literally still have to get Hunter a gift. Daddy insists." Boscha says. "Did you ask Raine if they were coming to the party?"

"Yeah. Raine is gonna be there. Not like they have anything better to do besides single-handedly run a musical coven." Skara says. "What are you thinking of getting Hunter, anyway?"

"Maybe some new Grudgby gear or some kind of Cosmic Frontier collectible." Boscha says. "You?"

Skara thinks. "Probably that archery set he's had his eye on since he graduated." Skara says. "He always talks about it. Or maybe that box set of Beast Keepers' Guides that he always wants. I'm not sure if I'll get him one or both of those things. I'll decide once we go gift shopping."

Later, they went out.

"So, about your new family…How are they?" Boscha asked.

"Well, Brandy is painfully shy, so we don't talk much. He is nice, though. Randy is competitive, too competitive, and sometimes rude. He's always going out, so I don't really see him much. As for Emma, I haven't heard her talk to me, although she's recognized my musical potential." Skara says. "I think she's afraid of me. But enough about me. What have you and your dad been doing since you both reunited?"

"Practicing Grudgby, cooking, shopping, father-daughter yoga classes, conversations over dinner at restaurants…the list goes on." Boscha says. "I'm just happy to have my dad in my life again otherwise."

Skara got Hunter both things she had talked about getting him. Her thoughts then turned to her having musical potential and why Emma seems to be the only one who noticed.

"Right, I didn't have a family and I never really got much attention, other than from Raine and the other members of the Bard coven." She says as she frowned.

"You're thinking of entering ANH, aren't ya?" Boscha asked.

"I doubt people would care. I'm not Jerbo." Skara says. "But I'll enter next season. It's only fair."

"Who is going to be your partner?" Boscha says

"You. And I don't know, someone with star power like Emma or Randy. They're established heroes so they'd totally be good. Though you think hunter will like it?" Skara asked

"I've heard him sing before. I'm shocked he isn't in the Bard coven with you." Boscha says.

"That's it! Me, you, Hunter, and Emma!" Skara says.

"Think about this, though. Randy has never looked you in the eye and I think you'd be just using Emma if it's just for the show. Now, come on, we gotta go and wrap these gifts. Then we can get some lunch." Boscha says.

Meanwhile, Luke was planning.

Lucy made him a pre-half-birthday lunch. The siblings look suspicious.

"I'm just making sure he knows that I love him, that's all." Lucy says.

"He's going to have a good half-birthday, Luce." Luna tells her.

Hunter was listening to the AC/DC Back In Black album on his headphones while he was doing his training.

Willow sighs dreamily while she's practicing her plant magic. She had fallen for Hunter on more than one occasion. She loves Oliver and Hunter.

Later, Skara and Boscha came to the party early.

"Greetings and galactic salutations, ladies! Gifts go on the gift table and some cosmic refreshments are on the blue and purple tables!" Luke says. "Please, enter and have an out-of-this-world amazing time!"

Skara and Boscha admire the work Luke did for Hunter's 19th birthday party.

"You truly are the best, Luke! This Cosmic Frontier party will blow Hunter's mind!" Skara says.

"I agree! Great job with the theme!" Boscha says.

Luke smiles and waits for Hunter. He soon sees him arrive with the Foxes and Remy.

"Oh, my goodness…" Hunter was awestruck. He couldn't believe his eyes. "This is awesome!"

"Happy birthday!" Luz and the others say.

"Thanks, everyone!" Hunter says. "Let's get this party started!"

The party began with dancing as Luna was the DJ, dressed in a galactic purple spacesuit.

Hunter and Willow danced together. Remy smiled, dancing with Haiku.

"This is fun!" Hunter says.

Some time later, Raine walks in with a big gift in tow.

Hunter smiled. "You made it!" He says to Raine, who smiles.

"Happy Birthday, Hunter!" Raine says.

Hunter opens it and gasps. "A life-size Cosmic Frontier character! It looks exactly like me!" Hunter squeals with excitement. "Thank you, Raine! I love this!"

"You're very welcome." Raine says.

Hunter opens Skara's gifts next. He gasped seeing the archery set and the box set of Beast Keepers' Guides. "Sweet! Thank you, Skara!" Hunter says.

Boscha presents her gift. "Here's mine." She says as Hunter opens it. It was the Grudgby gear.

"The top-of-the-line stuff, too! Thank you, Boscha!" Hunter says.

Willow presents Hunter with a plant of her own creation.

"What do you call this, Willow?" Hunter asked.

"The Hunter plant." Willow says.

"It's a beautiful plant. I love it!" Hunter says.

"Time for my gift!" Luz says as Hunter opens it. He saw a falcon staff inside the box.

"Oh, my…it's simply gorgeous…" Hunter says. "Where did you find such a beautiful thing like this?"

"Don't ask." Luz says, wincing. It wasn't easy as she went through a lot just to get him that.

After Hunter opened the rest of his gifts, everyone sat down to eat as Hunter got ready to try pizza for the first time ever.

Alem tuber was training. Melony glared, jealous every orphan was getting adopted, but she had no one. She leaped and tried to attack Alem tuber, who punched through her, knocking her down.

"I need a new challenge." Alem tuber says.

"You're so lucky…" Melony says.

With Hunter, he was trying some pizza. He actually liked it so much, he went for seconds and thirds.

Luz smiled as Luke thought about his day. But now Luke focused on giving Hunter more as he soon revealed the space-themed party games.

The games ranged from musical chairs to a space-themed scavenger hunt.

Hunter had fun and was soon eating the Flamin' Hot Cheetos Asteroids that he found on the scavenger hunt.

Luke brought out the piñata that looked like the ship from Cosmic Frontier. Hunter gasped and smiled at it. He used a spell to break it open as candy and space-themed toys came out of it. Hunter grinned and took his share.

"This is my first real birthday party, and I love it!" Hunter says as Luke smiled.

Soon, they watched Hunter sing as everyone loved it.

"Why have you never joined the Bard coven? You're amazing!" Skara says.

"I was interested in other things." Hunter says, unaware he even had it in him, then goes to be alone

"He probably means us." Eda says, standing by Raine.

"I don't get it." Luke says.

"What do you think happened before Luz met you all? He was helping his evil uncle, almost like a kid named Zuko." Eda says.

Willow holds Hunter outside the party as he cries.

"Look, it's okay. I had a horrible parent figure too." Amity says and hugs him.

"They need to quit bringing it up in front of me! I don't want to be reminded of any of this!" Hunter sobbed. "I'm sick of reliving my past!"

Stephen and everyone gasped.

Chrissy closed her eyes, remembering her powers.

Some time later, Willow headed inside.

"What?" Hunter asked.

"It's time to see your cake now!" Luz says with a smile. "Are you ready for it?"

Hunter smiled at the thought of cake and went inside. He gasped upon seeing the full sheet cake depicting two of his favorite scenes from Cosmic Frontier and the cake said "Happy 19th Birthday, Hunter! You're Astronomically Amazing!" in light blue icing.

"You guys…this…this is truly awesome…" Hunter says, smiling at his cake as Willow lit all 19 candles on it.

Everyone began to sing as Hunter thought of a wish. This was a moment he would always remember. A moment where he was truly happy and was able to think for himself.

He wished he'd get a bigger birthday next year. 20 years old would be a big deal, especially to him. He blew out his candles as everyone cheered.

Luke was thinking of his half-birthday.

"We remember. I promise." Lucy says. Luke tears up as he walks off.

"Luke, we really do remember…" Lucy says "I won't screw up."

Luke sniffed.
