On October 8th, Alem tuber and Jack were planning for Skara to appear on Jack's show and other things, like going out to play Mario Party minigames, then have the party at the Boiling Isles. They had a lot planned. But what they didn't plan on was Skara's re-enactment with the Bard coven being on the same day.
Emma goes to Skara. "Will you attend my ballet event tonight?" She asked.
Skara was practicing her dance moves as she nodded.
"Really? Because the twins said no." Emma says
"I'll be there. Can I please go back to practicing now?" Skara asked nicely. Emma nods.
Meanwhile, Edric was training. Emira was practicing her healing glyphs with Viney. Edric was training Emila to be a bit better.
"I heard Skara had a mental breakdown at Beau's birthday party." Viney says.
"I blame Gem." Emila says.
"What happened to her?" Emira asked, curious about Skara.
"She knows her day will be ruined because people may still be playing favorites for ANH and stuff. So we're taking her to a different world like mushroom kingdom or the Boiling Isles to celebrate because we won't have to worry about an attack."
"Have you even checked her schedule?! She has her re-enactment that day!" Viney says.
"Are you trying to take her away from her stuff?" Boscha asked.
"Okay, new plan, we just take her out for dinner and cake and have a small party…" Emila tries to say.
"She wants a big party. I don't see the point in planning something small for her." Viney says.
"Okay, after the show, we will give her a big party." Emila says.
"But try to remember that she doesn't want to be dragged around too much. She's been through more than we think, especially when the BATs disbanded and the whole magic war thing, where the Bard coven lost a lot of people and she was suffering."
"There was a war? Not my problem." Emila says.
Viney then started telling the group what she had learned about it. Edric and Emira were horrified and felt bad for Skara.
"Did someone die?" Emila asked
"She lost her former parents in that war!" Viney says.
"Oh, this is a different situation from what I do. I feel bad for her, but I will not attend the party." Emila says, not wanting to speak to Brandy.
"Fine by us." Emira says, going back to practicing her glyphs.
Meanwhile…
"We'll think of something. We'll have a party for sure." Skylia says as Emma was getting ready.
Soon, it was time for the ballet performance as Skara was there. Emma smiled, surprised that she actually came. It began as Emma did her best stuff. Skara smiled at this.
After the show, Skara hugged Emma. "You did great!" Skara says as Emma smiled.
On October 12th, Savannah was baking a cake, making it look like Skara's character in the re-enactment of Die Bard 2.
Skara was at the dress rehearsal for said re-enactment as Raine was smiling and watching Skara. Beau showed up to this rehearsal as well.
"Beau, Beau!" Girls chanted, wanting him in it. But Beau didn't want to steal Skara's thunder. He was there for her.
Meanwhile, Delta was kicking a bunch of random robbers and gave a wedgie to 2, tying their underwear together and tossing them away. She smirked and did a double standing handstand jump and kicked the last one as the police came.
"Take 'em away!" Delta says to the police. They take the robbers away.
Fans cheered and took pictures as Delta bowed.
The next day, Skylia made Skara a birthday breakfast and came to her room with the twins and Emma.
"Happy birthday!" They say as Skara tries to smile.
"Thanks…this looks…delicious." She says. She soon eats her breakfast, grabs her things and teleports to school before she is dragged anywhere.
The twins head to school themselves. It was a school day, which they really didn't factor in when planning Skara's birthday.
At Hexside, Skara was getting stuff out of her locker.
"Happy birthday, Skara!" Boscha says.
"Thanks, my love." Skara says.
"Did they do anything special for you today or did they just forget?" Boscha asked.
"They got me a birthday breakfast in bed. I ate all of it, then I left because I didn't want to be late today." Skara says.
"So what do you wanna do after the reenactment show? Do they even know it's during school?" Boscha asked.
"I'll text them. I doubt they can make it because Randy has after school activities and stuff like that. I just hope my mom can make it at least." Skara sniffed.
Meanwhile, Cynthia was bored in class. "It's been a while since there was Akumas. I guess he finally gave up." she thought.
She knew her parents would hire Oliver like usual. She wondered how he felt about losing
"For once, we can't go on an adventure." David says.
"Thank God." Cynthia says.
Meanwhile, the twins were in class, thinking about Skara and unsure how to plan her day with all this stuff going on. Alem tuber didn't want to rely on Luke's help, considering him a rival and he knew Skara would leave them and join Luke's family.
What he didn't know is that Skylia called Luke. If Randy did anything to interfere in Luke's plans, he'd be grounded for 3 months with nothing but chores and no electronics or screen time.
Later, Skylia came to see the Die Bard 2 reenactment. Skara held back tears backstage as Raine noticed.
"Skylia ran to her, worried. "Skara, honey, are you okay?" She asked.
"What's wrong?" Raine asked.
"Let them give me what they want. Besides the gifts, they never asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. They just went and planned things they liked. I'll just go through with their plans. They can take over." Skara says, head hung down. "It's what they want, according to my new family's rules…Rule #20, what they say goes…" Skara says.
"Really?" Raine asked. "Is all of this true, Skara? You can tell me."
Skara nods. Raine puts an arm around her as Skylia looks a bit guilty for having that rule to begin with.
"Skara, honey, I am so sorry. That shouldn't have even been a rule to begin with. I have a feeling the twins added it so they could do what they wanted with you." Skylia says.
Raine helps Skara get ready as the reenactment would begin in an hour.
Soon, it began as Skara came out on stage. She was performing brilliantly as she danced and sang songs such as Rock You Like A Hurricane, Barracuda, and Should I Stay Or Should I Go?, delighting the crowd as Raine, Beau, and Skylia smiled, proud of Skara.
Emma was in her class, upset she had to miss it. But Skylia did record the whole thing.
Meanwhile, Alem tuber punched his brother like normal.
Soon, Skara finished as the crowd loved it. Skara bowed with the rest of the Hexside Bard coven, smiling.
She was ready for what Luke planned.
"Skara! You were wonderful!" Boscha and Beau both say as Willow gave Skara some flowers for a job well done. Raine smiled and patted Skara's back.
Skylia wondered if Skara was even happy. Skylia got deja vu from the Foxes and knew Skara wouldn't be her daughter for much longer. But she smiled and joined in the praise for Skara.
Later, Luke was setting things up with Ollie and Shane. It was going to be a Die Bard-themed party, which is what Skara really wanted, had her family actually asked her what kind of party she wanted.
"So, are you getting a new family?" Boscha asked Skara as they were finally alone.
"They've been trying so hard to impress me and make me happy. Mama Skylia gives me the praise and love my former parents never gave me." Skara says. "I mean, I bet my gifts are gonna be things they got for themselves." Skara says.
Skylia soon picked up the kids.
"Look, we screwed up. Next year, we will ask Skara what she wants. Gift list, party theme, and all." Skylia says.
Emma was seen shaking. "So, we're saying goodbye tonight?" She asked.
"I hope not. But we messed up badly." Skylia says. "I found the rule the twins added."
"Boys, look, don't do it again." She sighed as they nodded. Skylia goes to get groceries as Alem tuber followed her.
Suddenly, Wildy pushed the car down the hill as Skylia wasn't aware it was even happening.
With Luke, he was helping the cups set up on stage.
Emila was supposed to do a magic performance and the cosmic buddies were going to do a scene from Die Bard 2. Luke had kept that in the itinerary.
"Actually, Brandy and Randy aren't coming." Mike says.
"Did you sabotage my itinerary again?!" Luke screamed.
"Nah, someone else did." Mike says. Luke began to stress out.
"Why don't you guys do it? You'd be way better." Josh says.
"I've never seen the movie!" Luke screamed.
"Fine, we'll get em back" Mike grumbled. he calls Wildy. "We can't kill them. Apparently Luke actually needs them. Oh, drown 'em tomorrow." Mike says.
The cosmic buddies arrive as Alem tuber crosses his arms, annoyed, seeing Mike and Josh. They were standing with Luke as Josh had Shane on his leash, walking on two legs.
"Still playing as Luke's lackeys, huh, jerks?" Alem tuber says, punching his fists.
"Mom said no interference or you'd get a 3-month groundation." Brandy says.
"I can kill you." Randy says.
Soon, Skara was walking to the place, looking down. She still had some feelings in her that made it hard to smile.
She entered as confetti fell on her.
"Surprise! Happy 18th birthday, Skara!" Everyone says.
"Oh, wow!" Skara says.
"I planned it!" Luke says.
"I know. Mama Skylia told me." Skara says. "I love all this so much, thank you."
Soon, the party began with dancing as the cups were being DJ's.
Skara and Boscha were dancing together and smiling.
Emma sat alone, looking down. She knew Skara hated her. She was fighting back tears and waiting to be yelled at. Angry Luigi looked down, knowing they screwed up.
Skara and Boscha dance around and smile. It was already fun.
Soon, Skara goes to open gifts. The twins and Emma got her the things Skara told Emma she wanted. Skara smiled as she knew they listened to her.
Luke gave his gift to Skara, which made her scream out loud. It was a life-size cutout of The Electric Skates. She hugged Luke.
"This is awesome!" Skara says. "I can't wait to put this in my room!"
"Here it comes…" Alem tuber thought, arms crossed as Emma was covering her eyes, thinking Skara was going to leave.
Skylia smiles as Skara sees a car. A red Corvette, her dream car.
"Oh, my gosh!" Skara says "Thank you!"
Skylia smiled at Skara.
Later, Emila sighed and began the magic show as Skara and her guests smiled and watched.
Emila drew Skara with a magic pencil. She then shoots magic fireworks, then uses spells Edric taught her.
Then Oliver and the Foxes did their own show. People cheered.
Later, Shane was being the entertainment. Skara thought he sang wonderfully. And then she watched Shane strip himself naked.
"Kiss Luke's ass!" The guests all shouted.
Shane froze and soon did so as Skara grinned.
Later, the cosmic buddies do Skara's favorite scenes from Die Bard 2 and even one she liked from Die Bard 3.
"Best movie franchise!" Skara says, smiling.
They finish as Emma begins to leave, knowing she wasn't needed or wanted, thinking Skara was better off without her.
Later, Angry Luigi shows the highlight reel he made for her. Skara smiled at that.
Meanwhile
"Happy birthday, Cecilia." The morticians club says.
"What is happening?" She asked in a deadpan tone.
"We wish for you to join our club." Dante says.
"I don't do parties, but this will be the one exception." she thought.
They watched creepy movies.
Meanwhile, Melony, Jack, Alex, Reilly, Delta, and Chrissy were at Cynthia's party.
"Thanks, you guys. The party looks great" Cynthia says and sees a new dress from Chrissy.
"Thanks, Chrissy." Cynthia says.
"No problem." Chrissy says.
They play tennis and golf before playing some party games.
Later, Cynthia was on a parade float that went through Paris as people took pictures.
"Make sure to get my good side!" Cynthia says as people took pictures of her.
"I was hoping for excitement!" Delta says.
"Yeah, this is kinda boring" Melony says.
"Then why did you come?" Chrissy asked.
"We were thinking those kids would get dragged into an adventure." Delta says.
Emma took the stage at Skara's party. She did a ballet performance for her as she loved it.
"Tonight, my big sister is turning 18. Honestly, she's pretty great at singing, and I hope she wins at the, um, I forget what it's called. I hope she wins cause she's full of talent. I just wish I was on her team, but it's okay. I guess Randy gets whatever he wants, Anyway, here's to many more years for my sister." Emma says.
Everyone cheers for Skara as she smiles.
"All right, folks, time for my second gift!" Luke says. "Skara Gray, meet the Side Street Guys!" He says as the boy band in question appears on stage.
Skara squeals. "Ahhhhh!" She ran up to the stage with Boscha.
They got autographs. Then the Side Street Guys performed as Skara danced with her friends.
Emma knew Skara wanted to leave to be in Luke's family and knew Skara saw her as annoying, so she left.
Savannah was working on a Die Bard-themed cake for Skara.
"Any allergies?" Savannah asked Oliver.
"Skara is a resident chocoholic, but hates blueberries as she is allergic. And she is allergic to peanuts and coconut." Oliver says.
Savannah made a chocolate cake.
Meanwhile, Melony felt something off and ran. There was a truck driving out of control as barrels were rolling out. She used roots to wrap them, but the truck rammed into her
"Not an adventure…" Delta sighed. "But it is a chance to get some action."
Chrissy rushed and tried to stop it, but there were too many barrels as Delta stopped the truck, then sped around, stopping barrels.
Meanwhile, Lucy noticed the club burying Cecilia alive.
"She asked." Persephone says.
"Looks like I don't need Oliver to enjoy myself." Cynthia says. They began to watch The 3 Musketeers with Mickey Mouse.
"Wait, if Savannah's not baking my cake, who is?" Cynthia asked.
Delta texted Stephen. "Stephen will do it."
"He's probably busy." Cynthia says.
Delta teleports to see Savannah finished with Skara's cake.
"I need you to bake another cake." Delta says.
Savannah nods, tired, and goes to do so.
Later, Angry Luigi and Skylia revealed the actors from the Die Bard franchise as Skara screamed with excitement.
"Boscha! Look! It's really them!" Skara says.
A bunch of people pushed by Angry Luigi, who slowly walked off.
"Well, she doesn't need me anymore." Angry Luigi says.
"Now this is amazing!" Skara says. Raine got some autographs as they squealed.
"You goths aren't so bad." Cecilia says.
"Thanks. I made a cake." Haiku says as it was a triple death by chocolate cake. Cecilia liked what she saw.
Meanwhile, Delta took the cake and came back to see Cynthia about to hit her piñata. She hits it with a bat as candy falls out.
"Candy!" Ann squealed. "Wait, where's Emma?'
"At her adopted sister, Skara's 18th birthday party." Kali says.
It was piñata time at Skara's birthday party as well. Luke hung up the big crystal ball piñata.
Skara gasped, in awe. She used her bard magic to burst it open as candy and music-themed toys poured out of it. She smiled and collected her share of the goodies.
Emma sat out, crying. Skara came up, an extra bag of candy and toys in hand.
"Here you go! I wasn't just going to leave you out, Emma!" Skara says, giving the bag to Emma.
"You don't want me anymore…" she sobbed.
"Who told you that, Em?" Skara asked.
"We screwed up and the Foxes left us cause we screwed up." Emma sobbed.
"You guys made plans without asking me what I wanted. You planned things that you like, thinking I would like them, too. I like different things from what you all like. I'm not hard to approach." Skara says. "You could have just come up to me and asked what I wanted to do for my birthday. "
"Most people find me annoying." Emma sniffed.
"I don't." Skara says. "It just hurts me when people don't approach me and ask me things before making their own plans for me. I think I'm just…unapproachable. Not to mention I still have the tendency to grieve for my former parents. And of course, I have bad PTSD after the things I saw during that war. But no one even cares that I've gone through a lot with that and all I want is to be understood for more than just my musical prowess!" Skara then ran out, crying.
Emma felt bad and ran after her.
Skara uses her bard magic to make a bubble as she sits inside it and cries.
"Please come out, I'm sorry…" Emma says.
"Skara, honey?" Skylia asked gently. "Are you okay?"
"No! I have PTSD and you're always at work and 2 of my siblings are afraid of me!" Skara sobbed.
"Look, it's going to be okay. I'm sure they are not afraid of you. Please just give them a chance." Skylia says.
Skara came out and talked about the war as she started to cry all over again. It really traumatized her. Skylia holds Skara as she sobs.
Emma thinks about the divorce. Both divorces.
"Skara, we had no idea you went through all that…" Skylia says.
"I'm unapproachable and everyone in the house is scared of me! No one would ever talk to me because they just think I'm a freak!" Skara cries.
"I'm sorry." Emma says,
"I thought it was the other way around." Alem tuber says.
"Please give us a chance, Skara." Emma says.
"If Emma could approach me without so much of an issue, then why is everyone else just scared of me, huh?! Am I that much of a freak of nature to you?!" Skara sobbed. "Yes, I date a girl who has three eyes! Yes, I'm unapproachable in my own home!"
"Brandy's just shy. We all think you're nice." Savannah says.
"And I'm busy, but fine I'll make time for the 3 of you." Randy says.
"And we don't judge you for dating someone with 3 eyes. Chrissy dated a shape-shifter." Bill says.
Soon, they lead her Inside as Skara gasped to see the cake Savannah baked, looking like a Die Bard set.
"I…I don't know what to…s-say…" Skara sniffed, trying to smile. "Except…thank you, I love it!" She then took a picture of the cake with her scroll's camera feature.
Soon, Emma lit the candles as everyone began to sing to Skara.
Skara stood before the cake, trying hard to smile a real smile.
"Come on, Skara, please smile, for me?" Boscha asked.
"I…I…" Skara just looked around.
"It's okay." Boscha says, standing next to Skara. "Go on, my beloved, make a wish. I know it will come true."
She wished she could do something fun with her family and blew out her candles before magically cutting herself the first slice of cake and tearfully floating home.
"Thank you for helping us do this for her, Luke." Skylia tells him. "She just has a lot going on that we weren't exactly made aware of until tonight."
Luke smiled. "My pleasure. You can call me anytime." Luke says.
Meanwhile, Cynthia wished she could go a whole month without adventures.
Everyone cheered before Michael Myers appeared as Cynthia screamed before Cecilia and Lucy laughed.
Angry Luigi speeds after Skara.
"Wait!" he says.
"What…what is…what is it?" Skara sniffed as she ate her cake.
"We want you to know we care for you." Angry Luigi says as she sniffed again.
"Thanks for the party, you guys…it's just been…hard, you know? This is the first birthday where I wasn't alone for once." Skara says.
"I get that feeling." Alem tuber says. "I was deemed an orphan for years, even though my parents were alive."
"That's dumb. No one can be deemed an orphan when their parents are alive." Skara says.
"Tell that to Luke." Alem tuber says. "I spent my first 5 birthdays alone."
"I spent a lot of my birthdays alone." Skara says. "No Terrific Ten, Fantastic Fourteen, no Sweet 16, none of that. Until this year…where I had an Epic 18 that I'll always remember."
"Hey, you have friends and a girlfriend. You're not alone. Never again." Skylia says.
"I know, maybe we should give her a birthweek. Like Luke!" Emma says.
"For once, I think that may make her happy. But maybe next year. Or when she turns 20." Skylia says. "She is feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, though."
The next day, Skara and Angry Luigi groaned.
"Looks like your allergies kicked in…" Skylia sighed. "I'll get the allergy shots. You two watch them." Skylia says.
With Luke, he was thinking of his 6 days, wanting 18 days. Charity looked at him.
"Sweetie, six days is more than enough." She says.
