Over the next few days, the boys were receiving treatments for their various mental issues.
Today, Barbara was with Barry at his latest therapy session.
"So, how are we doing today, Barry?" Janelle asked.
"Barry needs his chocolate milkshake ba-ba…" Barry sniffed.
"Barry, talk to the therapist, okay? You can have your milkshake after this." Barbara gently tells him.
"Barry is fine, Miss Janelle." Barry says, fiddling with his fingers.
"We should probably give Atticus a special birthday. It's what Brandy would want." Savannah says.
"Yeah, but his plans are kinda hard to read." Bill says.
"Well, I'm going to see my boyfriend." Emila says.
Edric was currently at Blight Manor, recovering from the fight. Emira was doing the same as Viney was there with her, using healing glyphs to help her recover.
Emila came. "Are you okay, Ed?" Emila says.
He nodded and looked at Emila.
"The cosmic buddies disbanded." Emila sighed, walking by him.
"That's sad…" Edric says.
"And soon, the Musibros may break up. But who knows? They'll probably make up." Emila said and frowned.
Meanwhile, with Barry…
"Barry saw the punching and the arrows and everything…Barry was trying not to die…" Barry says to Janelle. "Barry wanted to run away, wanted it all to end…"
"I'm sure it will soon end." Janelle says, holding Barry's hands.
"Barry wants Barbara to not leave him…Barry doesn't wanna die…" Barry sobbed.
"You won't." Janelle says. "Trust me. Barbara will be here for you."
"Barbara loves Barry…" Barry says, reaching for her. She holds him.
"You'll be okay, Barry." Barbara says.
With Luke, he apologized to Oliver Queen, promising to treat him and everyone else with respect. Luke was now listening to Oliver Queen's play woes as he vowed to listen more and control his emotions.
"The nerve of the guy playing Plankton! I mean, seriously! Does he even know who I am?! I wanted so badly to aim arrows at him!" Oliver Queen shouted. "He said pure diamond blonde isn't a hair color! Well, it is!"
"It's not." Zee says.
"Screw you!" Oliver Queen screamed at her. He was very self-conscious about his looks these days. "It's my natural hair color!"
"Shouldn't you be setting up a party for Atticus, your teammate?" Zee asked.
"Shouldn't you be leaving me alone?" Oliver Queen asked her. "We weren't made aware of any party today. And besides, we have a teammate who needs a lot more attention now."
"Ouch. Oh, before I leave…" Zee says and uses a spell, pouring water on Oliver Queen as she leaves.
"I'm going to…" Oliver Queen was soon uttering profanities under his breath as he went to clean himself up.
Savannah was decorating for Atticus, but cries, thinking of Angry Luigi.
"Why are you even bothering with this party? Atticus is not our friend." Emila says.
"I'm being nice." Savannah says as Emila uses a spell, melting the wax on the cake and burning the balloons.
"Have a nice day." Emila says, walking off as Savannah was fuming. She knew Atticus was gonna find out about the party one way or another.
Savannah sighed, looking at all her hard work that was wasted and went to her siblings. "I need help." Savannah says. Jerbo and Viney smiled.
Meanwhile, Melony was drinking watermelon juice and listening to her radio. It was just the Musibros again.
"I used to be famous." Melony said and sighed.
"I gotta get back to the hero job." Melony says, then realized her feet were still burnt due to Belos and had to rest them for some time. She couldn't even fight in the snow.
"On second thought, Luke can have his dumb spotlight. I'll just take the spotlight back in March, when the snow melts." Melony says.
After therapy, Barbara took Barry to work. Janelle had recommended he keep his job, among other things.
Working at Sugar Buzz Studios keeps Barry in a state of normalcy and keeps him stable. Janelle had also recommended he not do any hero stuff as of right now as it would end up being a trigger.
The others felt bad for Barry.
Soon, Savannah finished getting stuff ready for Atticus' party. Thanks to Jerbo and Viney, things were fixed like new.
"This won't work." Emila says.
"If it doesn't work, then we tried." Viney says. "You ruined my sister's work and you will not do it again. She worked too hard to see her creations ruined."
Meanwhile, Atticus came to see Barry.
"Hey, champ, how're you doing?" Atticus asked as he watched Barry stock the Toblerone candy bars.
"Barry's okay…" Barry says. "Barry's work helps him feel calm."
"Happy birthday, bro." Hal says as Atticus smiles.
"Sorry I can't be at your party." Shane says. "Barry can't be left alone right now and I offered to keep him company along with Barbara. Barbara accepted me as Barry's male support system tonight. And I doubt Barry will want to come to the party, considering the others will probably be there."
"Understandable. I'll be happy, regardless of who shows up." Atticus says.
He arrived at the party as Savannah came up to him. "Happy birthday, Atticus!" She says before the cake blows up.
"Huh, neat." Atticus says, putting on a smile.
Savannah looked horrified. The work she and her siblings put into this was once again ruined by Emila.
Viney was livid. So was Jerbo. They hated when their work got ruined.
Meanwhile, Melony was training in the apartment.
She sighed when Delta came in.
"Hello." Delta says.
"I can't go on any missions right now. Doctor's orders." Melony says.
"I know. We don't just do missions." Delta says.
Jerbo and Viney left the party. Viney went off to spend the night with Emira and Jerbo was off to find Griffin and his siblings as they were gonna work on abomination magic projects. They were mad about their work being ruined, to say the least.
Savannah sighed as Emila laughed.
"I hope you're happy about making my siblings mad!" Savannah snapped.
Emila teleported, knowing Savannah would literally kill her.
Luan was at a different party, doing her thing. Kids loved her and her act.
Luke was with the others at the party, seeing the mess before them. No one messed with Savannah or her siblings on their watch.
"Don't hurt Emila." Savannah says.
"She hurt your siblings by ruining their work." Hal says. "It wasn't cool. At all."
"She can't take her anger out on you just because your team disbanded. She doesn't really realize you're dealing with Brandy's death and all these other things." Garth says. "Yet she had the nerve to ruin the work you didn't do." He then puts an arm around Savannah.
Atticus opens Hal's gift, which was a basketball jersey.
"Thanks." Atticus says.
"You're welcome." Hal says.
Savannah goes to prepare another cake. Garth decides to help. But he was mostly also helping to protect Savannah. Same with Carter.
With Barry, Shane and Barbara were taking care of him. Barbara already fed him his dinner.
He sucked his thumb as Shane gave him a book to read.
Later, Atticus hits a piñata as candy falls out of it. Luke was watching the party go on.
"Are you okay?" Garth asked.
"I just can't stop thinking about what I did…I'm just bad, aren't I?" Luke says sadly. Atticus then sees this.
"No, you're not. We all screw up. It's not like you tried to betray your friend a few times." Atticus says.
"You're saying I am a bad person!" Luke sobbed.
"I said you're not." Atticus says.
Luke screamed in frustration, not understanding what was even going on.
Later, Savannah brings out the cake. Carter made sure nothing bad happened the whole time it had been being made.
Soon, everyone was singing. Everyone but Luke.
"You see, happiness is only a small commercial in this dark cruel world and I'm afraid this extra long commercial has run its course and we must now return to our scheduled program." a voice says, breaking the 4th wall.
The screen was black before opening up as Barry could see everyone looking down.
"Thank God he's alive…" Mo says.
"You're going to be okay. Gosh, you got your butt whooped." Hal says.
"What happened to me?" Barry asked.
"You got your butt kicked and Barbara got shot." Garth says.
Barry felt bad that his girlfriend was crippled.
"Wow, it only took a few seconds and things went down for you, Barry. Honestly, I blame Hal." Delta says as Hal glared at her.
Luke thinks of his anniversary. He then leaves, his mind in a fog.
