Charlie Holloway rode up in a ship to where Doctor Elizabeth Shaw Holloway, his wife, lived.
While this was going on, Meredith Vickers was finishing up a painting.
While this was going on, Charlie walked up to Elizabeth's home until a package that was on the porch caught his attention. In response, he smiled, picked up the package and continued on his way. He knocked on the door of Elizabeth's home.
"Doctor Shaw," Meredith said, without taking her attention off the painting. There was no response.
The in-a-wheelchair since the accident and pregnant Elizabeth had not answered because she was looking into the existence of God and Engineers.
"Doctor Shaw, someone's here," Meredith called again, finally catching Elizabeth's attention.
"I'm involved in something else," Elizabeth called back, without taking her attention off of her task.
Charlie knocked again.
"Doctor Shaw, I'm begging you," Meredith said, this time in annoyance.
In response, Elizabeth rolled away from the kitchen table, where she had been, and she rolled into the main area, where Meredith and the front door were. "You always ask me to get the door," she complained as she rolled past Meredith, who was smirking and watching her.
"What dare did I interrupt that you were so involved in," Meredith smiled and asked.
"God and Engineers," Elizabeth shrugged.
"You and your Engineers," Meredith stated.
Elizabeth smiled before she answered the door, revealing Charlie in the process.
"Hi," Charlie smiled down at her.
In response, Elizabeth smiled and laughed. "Hi," she smiled again.
"This package is for a…" Charlie paused as he pretended to the read the package. "Ellie Shaw," he read. "Do you know her," he asked.
In response, Elizabeth, pretending to think, smiled and brought her finger up to her chin. "I do not," she said. "However," she smiled and reached her arm out to take the package. "I can give it to her."
"Great," Charlie smiled and he handed the package to Elizabeth. "You know," he smiled, breaking out of character. "They found evidence of the Engineers …" He paused. "Well?"
In response, Elizabeth smiled; however, her smile soon disappeared. She looked down sadly and nodded as if out of understanding something. Elizabeth looked back up at Charlie.
"Charlie," she said carefully. "You know I'd love to, but I…" She looked down again. "I can't," she finished before she looked back up at him.
In response, Charlie sadly looked at her.
"You know, I don't have to go this time," he started; however, Elizabeth stopped him.
"No, go," Elizabeth smiled and shooed him away.
"Okay," Charlie sadly said. "I love you…"
"I love you, too," Elizabeth sadly said and they kissed.
Charlie sadly nodded and he left.
"Bye," Elizabeth said after him and Meredith joined her.
"Did Charlie want me to go with him," Elizabeth excitedly asked and joined Meredith. "I think Charlie wanted me to go with him," Elizabeth insisted.
In response, Meredith laughed "Doctor Shaw," she said as she closed the door to Elizabeth's home. "Charlie was just being considerate," Meredith's tone turned sad.
In response, Elizabeth shoved the box that she had been holding into Meredith's hands.
"I'm going with Charlie," Elizabeth said defiantly before she rolled out of the room.
