The Silver Dawn

(A woman wearing steel armor and helmet with tanned werewolf hide as part of their armor over green clothing holds a shield while swinging a spike mace.)

The militant order of werewolf hunters from High Rock who killed any beast in their path.

(A Silver Dawn mage uses an Inferno Stave which sets a werewolf on fire before a Silver Dawn knight rushes up and cleaves their head off with their Silver Dawn Sword.)

The Dawnguard

(A man wearing a brigandine over gambeson and full helmet stands at attention before bringing up a crossbow made with silver and aims it at the viewer.)

The returning group of vampire hunters from Skyrim who stopped a great threat to the lands.

(A Dawnguard hunter rushes past an Armored Troll that smashes a Frostbite Spider into the ground before they swing their Dawnguard War Axe and behead a vampire.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?

To find out, our world class fighters are testing history and fiction's most lethal weapons. Using twenty-first century, we'll see what happens when the two warriors go toe to toe.

No rules; No safety; No mercy: It's a duel to the death to decide who is...

The Deadliest Warrior

In the Fight Club, four warriors are checking on the weapons that they've brought with them having vastly different types of weapons. A man in silver armor looks at a sword as a woman in the same armor checks on a bow while a man wearing brown colored armor holds a warhammer and a second man in red armor holds a crossbow in his hands.

Welcome to the Fight Club. Here we've gathered a team of scientists, combat experts, and doctors to see who would win in a battle between two groups from the lands of Tamriel who battled against two groups of monsters who threaten ordinary citizens.

The Silver Dawn: The knightly order from High Rock who lead the fight against werewolves.

Versus...

The Dawnguard: The reformed group from Skyrim who bring the fight to the vampires.

A man with brown hair and gloves wearing a green jacket over a white shirt and brown pants with a lightsaber and blaster pistol on his belt looks over a bloodied sword he's holding.

Lead biomedical engineer and Jedi Knight, Marcus Jendark, will use scientific equipment to determine the power the weapons have.

"Both of these groups have some interesting weapons to take out their main foes," Marcus states, "Which would impact how these two will fight each other."

A woman with long, brunette hair wearing a lab coat over light blue scrubs looks over a ballistic gel torso with a shattered head and ribs.

Forensic scientist and medical doctor, Amber Wilson, will provide insight to the wounds that the weapons will deliver to an real person.

"Both of these groups have weapons meant to take on creatures of the night," Amber says, "As such, how they perform on a person is what we'll be looking at."

At a desk with several books, a man wearing a white polo shirt tucked into a pair of blue khakis reads a book while typing up notes on his laptop.

Historian and researcher, Stevan Lloyd, has been preparing the coming tests and looking into the data to find info on the warriors.

"These two groups have plenty of information about them despite coming from a fantasy world," Stevan observes, "As such, the equipment that both groups are bringing and the x-factors were easy to figure out."

A man with a tan and right cybernetic arm wearing a black overcoat over a grey shirt and green army pants types quickly on a keyboard in front of two computer monitors.

Former soldier and computer whiz, Dexter Reed, will input the weapons and x-factors data into a simulation program that will determine the winner.

"Both of these groups are bringing in equipment which could easily overwhelm a single person," Dexter says, "As such, this match between these groups will be a squad on squad battle."

The simulation will run a thousand battles between five Silver Dawn knights and five Dawnguard hunters. The winner will be the Deadliest Warrior.

An Imperial man with short black hair wearing steel armor over green clothes holds a battleaxe in his hands which he performs a swing with.

Adonatus Varian, a commander of the Silver Dawn, will take up arms for his fellow knights.

"When you're part of the Silver Dawn, it's not all about killing werewolves," Adonatus tells the camera, "It's about protecting those who could not save themselves and spreading justice to an unjust land."

A Breton woman with red hair wearing steel armor over chainmail picks up and examines a staff with wings around a pendant which features a wolf head.

Dirdre, a member and knight of the Silver Dawn, will assist in showing off the skills of the order.

"Our order had come together to protect Tamriel from the threat of lycanthropy," Dirdre states proudly, "And it's never changed even with the spike of activity we've been facing."

Founded in the year 428 of the Second Era, the Order of the Silver Dawn was founded in the midst of a pandemic in High Rock called the "Curse of the Crimson Moon". A villager named Adeliza Silver-Axe would bring her rising knightly order to the wilderlands of Wrothgar and found their base of operations at the Argent Mines which were rich with silver. As the order grew, it spread across the provinces of Tamriel and had strongholds built with one being Moon Hunter Keep which was used as a research facility.

"The reason behind our research facility has been to try and find a cure for lycanthropy," Adonatus explains, "Over the years we've been doing so, it's brought us into conflict with a great werewolf pack."

The werewolf pack, lead by Vykosa the Ascendant, would overrun the Silver Dawn as the order had already started losing their territories across the provinces. As they were dealing with this, another pack began hunting down members of the knightly order taking up arms to combat the rising threat. Despite losing their keep and having to abandon the Argent Mines, the Silver Dawn began to regroup and rebuild in order to take on the werewolf packs as a cure was finally found.

"We've got a way to cure the curse and are ready to take down the other packs," Dirdre states, "So it's only a matter of time before we've taken them out."

The Silver Dawn are ready to claim the victory for their knightly order. However, the Dawnguard are just as confident in their victory.

A Redguard man wearing brown Dawnguard Armor picks up a shield and war axe before giving the weapon a few practice swings.

Isran, the leader of the Dawnguard, will represent the group he brought back.

"We may have only recently began operations in Skyrim," Isran remarks, "But we've proven ourselves more than ready to take on any challenger."

A Nord man wearing red Dawnguard Armor holds a quiver full of bolts and pulls one out before putting it on a crossbow with silver instead of steel.

Gunmar, a blacksmith and member of the Dawnguard, will help showcase the weapons used by the group.

"I've helped ensure that the Dawnguard has access to plenty of deadly weapons," Gunmar says with a smile, "After all, fighting against vampires is no easy task."

Tracing their origins in the early to mid Second Era, the Dawnguard was formed when the then Jarl of Riften built Fort Dawnguard as a prison to hold his son who died of vampirism. The men hired to guard the prison were eventually forced to kill the Jarl's turned son leading to their banishment. However, the group stuck to their cause of hunting down vampires with their group eventually dissolving and falling into obscurity.

"When the vampire menace began to grow, I split off from the Skyrim chapter of the Vigilants of Stendarr," Isran states, "I saw the Vigilants as being unprepared for what was coming which is when I set out to reform the Dawnguard."

In the year 201 of the Fourth Era, the Volkihar Clan of vampires would wipe out the Skyrim chapter of the Vigilants with the new Dawnguard led by Isran stepping up to fight back. After the discovery of the vampire Serana, the vampire hunters would battle against the vampire clan and their supporters to prevent the prophecy known as the Tyranny of the Sun from being fulfilled. To the fortunes of Tamriel, the Dawnguard emerged triumphant wiping out the Volkihar Clan and the threat they posed.

"We were able to prevent the world from being plunged into eternal darkness," Gunmar says, "If that doesn't tell you what we're capable of, I don't know what will."

So when these two monster fighters from Tamriel go head to head, who would be the winner?

"I'm confident our knights and mages will gain victory," Adonatus remarks, "But I wish the Dawnguard the best of luck in the fight."

"It's not much of a contest between lycanthropes and vampires," Isran tells the camera, "The Silver Dawn are good at what they do, but my men will be claiming the win."

"I have to side with the Silver Dawn here," Dexter says, "They've got some pretty good weapons and armor which would most likely keep them in the fight longer."

"Looking at the weapons, I have to side with Dawnguard," Amber states, "Their weapons are meant to take on creatures more akin to humans and that will play to their strengths."

And Dawnguard is ready to show off their arsenal of weapons with their choice of polearm.

"This is a great weapon for taking on vampires," Isran states while picking up a Dawnguard Warhammer from the table, "And it packs quite the punch."

The Dawnguard Warhammer: A polearm length warhammer capable of smashing through the armor and bodies of any enemy in its way.

Dawnguard Warhammer

Length: 56.5 inches

Weight: 3.91 pounds

Substance: Steel, wood, and leather

"This is the warhammer used by the Dawnguard," Isran tells the experts as he takes the weapon from his back and into his hands, "A very powerful weapon on its own, but also does additional damage when used against vampires."

"Not a bad weapon to use against your main enemies," Marcus says, "Though what's the idea behind the dual spikes at the end of the hammer head?"

"Mostly to make it easier to tear into a vampire even if they wear armor," Isran answers, "Not that it would matter since this is a deadly weapon regardless."

"Well, we have a test set up to see what it can do," Amber states before she and the others lead Isran to the testing area.

For the first test between these warriors, a ballistic gel torso has been set up to see what the Dawnguard Warhammer can do.

Isran stands in front of a black table with the ballistic gel torso while having the polearm in one hand as he looks at the gel torso. After a few moments, he takes the warhammer in both hands and takes a step back as he prepares to strike.

"Isran, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Isran quickly brings the Dawnguard Warhammer down in an overhead swing which strikes the head and smashes open the top of the skull. As blood spills out, the Dawnguard leader pulls the polearm back before he performs a horizontal swing which strikes the chest. The bones are heard cracking upon impact before the weapon is pulled back showing the broken rib cage while the expert turns the weapon around in his hands.

Without wasting a moment, Isran swings the polearm with the twin spikes impacting into the ballistic gel torso's gut which sink into the target. Pulling the weapon to the side, the expert quickly tears open the belly causing blood to spill onto the floor before pulling the warhammer away.

"That should be enough."

"Damn, that is brutal!" Dexter exclaims as the experts come over to the testing area.

"So, obviously the first strike is a kill shot," Amber states as she looks over the gel torso, "You smashed his head open which instantly killed this guy. The strike to the body broke the rib cage and causes a lot of problems with the organs behind them plus you tore his belly open with the spikes. Pretty simple death with an instant kill shot, possible instant kill, and a delayed kill."

"That is a great showcase of the weapon," Marcus comments, "Great job, Isran."

Our experts are amazed by the results, but our Silver Dawn experts spot a problem.

"That was a great demonstration of your weapon, sir," Adonatus tells Isran, "However, outside of your target not moving, it also had no armor which our knights would make use of."

"Well, this weapon is great at taking on armored vampires," Isran remarks, "Perhaps we can see what it can do against your knight's armor?"

"It'd make for a more proper test," Adonatus replies with a smile.

With the input of Adonatus and Dirdre, Stevan Lloyd has set up a ballistic foam torso with one of the four armor sets worn by Silver Dawn knights and leaders.

"One of the main armor sets used by the Order of the Silver Dawn is a type of heavy armor," Stevan explains, standing next to a foam torso wearing said armor, "This armor is made of a steel laminar cuirass and steel lamellar protecting the hips while also having boiled and tanned werewolf hides as part of the entire set. In addition, this armor set has a steel helmet which covers all but the face to keep the wearer protected from overhead and side strikes. They finally made use of an oval shield made of wood with steel over the outer part and center which will be on its own stand for this test."

With the test now set up, it's time for Isran to show how well the weapon can perform against armor.

As Isran stands in front of the armored foam torso, he holds the polearm with the bottom on the ground as Dexter straps an accelerometer at the top of the weapon.

"Okay, it's set up," Dexter states before stepping back, "Feel any added weight?"

"Not really," Isran replies as he picks it up to hold it with both hands, "But where you put it wouldn't affect how I use it."

Dexter nods before walking back to where the other experts are at as Isran turns a bit to prepare himself for the test.

"Isran, are you ready?"

"Yes!"

"On three," Amber counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Isran swings the Dawnguard Warhammer striking the face of the shield causing the face to splinter from the strike before a downward swing causes the metal border on the top to be dented. Using the back spikes of the weapon, the expert pulls the shield and the stand its on forward onto the ground. The Dawnguard leader brings the polearm up before he performs another overhead swing which strikes the helmet and dents it without much effort.

Turning the warhammer in his hands, he quick performs a horizontal swing which results in the two spikes breaking into the armor though are easily pulled out. Isran turns the weapons in his hands again before he delivers another swing which strikes the breastplate and causes another dent.

"Done!"

"Great job, Isran," Dexter says as he and the experts walk over. As Isran steps back, Marcus picks up the shield and stand from the floor to take a look at it.

"Looks like the shield has held up against the strikes," Marcus remarks as he looks at the shield, "So this should still be usable for a bit longer though would need to be replaced."

Amber looks over the armored foam torso and examines the damage before saying, "Alright, so looks like the back spikes punctured the armor though not by much. Looks like the depth of the holes isn't too deep so you're breaking the skin but not hitting organs or bone. The dent looks bad and would knock the wearer down with a few broken ribs, but most likely isn't as bad as the unarmored torso."

Taking the helmet off, Amber examines the foam head which has a crack on the top where the helmet had been struck. As she looks at the damage, she states, "Now, this is a bad. The helmet took much of the force, but the force behind the strike still got through and transferred to the head. This could result in a skull fracture and damaging the brain, which could result in death."

"The armor did what it needed to," Adonatus says with a smile, "But good job on the proving how good of a weapon it is."

"Of course," Isran replies, "But I hope you have something to try and counter it."

Adonatus just keeps his smile as he walks back to his table.

The Dawnguard are coming out swinging, but the Silver Dawn are ready to come back with their own polearm of choice.

"When it comes to fighting, we make use of many weapons which cut and hack," Adonatus states as he picks up a Silver Dawn Battle Axe from the table, "And this is one of our best hacking weapons."

The Silver Dawn Battle Axe: A battle axe used exclusively by the knights capable of cleaving through werewolf hide along with normal flesh and bone.

Silver Dawn Battle Axe

Length: 60 inches

Weight: 5.75 pounds

Substance: Silver, steel, and leather

"This is the battle axe which our knights use for combat," Adonatus informs the experts with him holding the weapon in his hands, "This axe is made with silver to ensure that it can take down werewolves without any problems."

"Not surprised that you made use of a cleaving weapon," Dexter states while looking at it, "Though it's strange that the hand grip of it is rather short."

"We do have to deal with lycanthropes in melee combat," Adonatus says, "So having one's hands further down the weapon shaft helps keep the hands away from talons and teeth."

"Well, let's see how it fairs with a human target," Amber replies.

As a means to test the killing power of the battle axe, our experts have set up a pig carcass to take the place of a normal person.

Adonatus walks up to the testing area as he sees the dead pig suspended in the air thanks to the use of a hook though its lower jaw. He looks at the carcass before nodding and bringing the battle axe up ready to take a swing.

"Adonatus, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, hack it up!"

Letting out a yell, Adonatus swings the Silver Dawn Battle Axe which strikes the pig carcass right in the midsection and chops through it spilling blood. The pig is nearly chopped through leaving the spine and the skin around it remaining before another swing sends the lower half to the ground. Bringing his axe back, the commander walks around to get into position before he performs an overhead swing that strikes the back of the pig's head. In an instant, the axe blade gets embedded into the top of the pig's head before ripping it out causing blood to come out.

"I believe I'm done."

"Nice job, commander!" Dexter exclaims as he and the other experts walk over to the chopped up pig.

"There's not much to discuss with your first two hits," Amber says while looking at the carcass, "You chopped it in half, and the target would have been in shock after the first hit so they would have been down from that alone. As for your third strike, you broke into the skull and are hitting brain so that's a kill shot as well."

"Not a bad start," Gunmar states as he and Isran come over, "Put a few wolf pelts on that pig and you've got a good stand in for your normal hunts."

"I can agree to that," Adonatus replies, "But I'm guessing you have some armor I can put this up against."

"Naturally," Isran answers instantly.

With the input of both Isran and Gunmar, Stevan Lloyd has set up a ballistic foam torso with one of the two main armor sets worn by the Dawnguard hunters.

"The Dawnguard make use of two sets of armor with the one we'll be using being the heavy armor set," Stevan states while standing next to a foam torso which wears the armor in question, "This armor, much like nearly all of the Dawnguard armor, makes use of a brigandine over a light gambeson which extends to protect the thighs with the heavy armor having pauldrons on both shoulders. In addition, the armor set has a steel helmet akin to a real life barbute with a visor which covers the entire head to protect the wearer from attacks coming in from the front, sides, and overhead. They finally make use of the Dawnguard Shield which is a circular shield made of steel with leather embedded into a sun pattern on the front which will be on its own stand for this test."

Now that the target is prepared, Adonatus is ready to show us how the battle axe takes on an armored opponent.

Walking up to the armored foam torso, Adonatus holds the Silver Dawn Battle Axe in his hands as Dexter straps an accelerometer just under the axe head.

"Alright," Dexter says as he steps away, "Feel any difference?"

"Nope," Adonatus replies, "Feels the same to me."

Nodding his head, Dexter heads back to the other experts as Adonatus raises his battle axe and prepares for the test.

"Adonatus, are you ready?"

"Yes!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

With a shout, Adonatus performs a horizontal swing with his Silver Dawn Battle Axe striking the Dawnguard Shield making its stand stagger a bit. He pulls the weapon back before bringing the battle axe down in an overhead chop which strikes the shield's rim. This causes the shield to be knocked off from the stand its off before grabbing the stand and moving it aside to let him focus on the armored torso.

Raising his weapon, the expert performs another overhead chop which comes crashing down onto the Dawnguard Heavy Helmet causing it to dent while deflecting the blow. However, Adonatus is able to quickly redirect the deflecting around into a third overhead chop which ends up hitting the left pauldron denting it. Backing up, he follows this up with a horizontal swing which hits the brigandine causing a soft clang from the steel metal plates being struck and the torso shakes from the strike.

Lowering the weapon, the expert turns his head and calls out, "Done!"

"Good job!" Dexter says with him and the other experts walk over. Adonatus steps away from the armored torso while Marcus walks over to the shield and picking it up from the floor while looking it over.

"Once again the shield has held up," Marcus says while examining the shield, "The rim is dented a bit, but other than that it held up pretty well."

Looking over the armored torso, Amber looks over the body armor as she states, "Okay, so it looks like the brigandine held up while the left pauldron is dented from the blow. You're looking at a potential breaking, but with padding underneath it should have lessened it a bit."

Taking off the helmet, Amber examines the head of the foam torso which has little damage to the location where the helmet was struck. Examining the head, she remarks, "And the helmet did its job. The dent would cause the wearer to be stunned by the blow, but the axe blade glancing off would ensure that the damage was minimal."

"It seems our armor is giving you problems," Isran says to Adonatus, "Not that surprised, considering axes are not the most reliable weapons against armor."

"You are right there," Adonatus replies with a smile, "But at least we've proven that it can be viable to knock you back."

Both teams have shown how deadly their chosen polearms are and how they fair against armor, but which one will get the edge?

"I have to give the edge to the Dawnguard Warhammer," Amber states confidently, "The Battle Axe worked great against unarmored foes, but the Warhammer can do that plus has more options to get around armor."

For medium range, the Dawnguard get the edge with the Dawnguard Warhammer.

Our experts are preparing for the next rounds of testing to see who would emerge the victor between two warrior groups from Tamriel who fight against supernatural creatures. However, before a contest of these two can play out, one must consider the x-factors that would be involved in this contest.

"Thanks to all of the information that these groups provided," Stevan states, "There have been several x-factors that are common between both groups. These would be experience, training, metallurgy, audacity, and ferocity."

These x-factors will be analyzed and then input into the simulation to help determine who would win between these two warriors. With their foe currently having an edge, the Silver Dawn are preparing to counter this with their primary sidearm of choice.

"The Silver Dawn have access to many weapons to take on werewolves," Adonatus says while holding a Silver Dawn Sword with the blade resting on his shoulder, "But this one is perhaps our greatest for up close kills."

The Silver Dawn Sword: A one-handed sword with a leaf shaped blade that's perfect for cutting werewolves to pieces.

Silver Dawn Sword

Blade Length: 27.25 inches

Length: 36.13 inches

Weight: 3.19 pounds

Substance: Silver, steel, and leather

"May I present to you the sword used by the Silver Dawn," Adonatus tells the experts while holding the sword with a hand, "This weapon is a popular choice among our group to kill werewolves."

"The shape reminds me of older swords from our time," Dexter remarks, "And the handle's long enough to use either one or two hands."

"Well, it is possible through we often use it with one hand," Adonatus replies with a smile, "Easier for us to hold our shield or have another weapon in that case."

"That is something to consider," Amber states, "But how about we test the weapon on its own and see how it handles."

"Let's go do that," the commander says as he follows the experts.

To test the lethality of the Silver Dawn Sword, two ballistic gel torsos have been set up. One of these targets will be wearing Dawnguard Heavy Armor with a Dawnguard Shield set up on a separate stand.

Adonatus walks up to the two torsos with him seeing both the unarmored target and the target wearing the Dawnguard armor. Twirling the sword in his hand, he holds it with one hand before preparing himself for the upcoming test.

"Adonatus, are you ready?"

"Ready!" He quickly shouts.

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Taking a step forward, Adonatus thrusts the Silver Dawn Sword with the blade going in the torso's chest between two ribs. The blade goes nearly all the way through before being pulled out and the commander quickly performs a slash with the sword. This causes the blade to tear open the belly with blood spilling to the ground before he redirects the sword up and towards the neck.

Upon striking, the sword cuts through half of the neck before being drawn out with blood spilling down the neck and onto the torso. With the first target down, the expert walks over to the second target with him starting with a thrust that hits the face of the Dawnguard Shield. The strike causes the stand to bounce as the sword is pulled back before being brought up and into a downward chop. However, the sword hits the rim of the shield and does nothing other than make the stand wobble while causing the edge which hit the shield to roll a bit.

Grabbing the shield, Adonatus pulls it and its stand to the side before he raises the Silver Dawn Sword up and brings it down on to the helmet. The helmet gets dented but remains unharmed with the commander drawing the sword away and bringing it back. He quickly performs a slash that strikes the brigandine on one of the plates stopping the strike as the sword is brought back again.

Stepping back, the expert brings the sword up and performs a thrust that gets between two of the plates though only the tip goes it. Upon feeling the sword stop, he pulls the weapon out and backs away.

"Done," Adonatus states as he steps aside for the experts.

"Alright, let's see the damage," Amber says as she walks over to the first ballistic torso, "Starting off, you cut open his belly so you're spilling his guts out onto the ground. He's going into shock from that and he'll die soon if you don't finish him off. Your thrust went between two ribs and hit the left lung along with a possible hit on the heart. This is doing a lot of damage and he's not walking away from that."

"And the neck strike?" Dirdre asks with a smile.

"Well, there's not much to it," Amber replies as she pushes the head to one side to reveal the cut, "You cut through half of the neck. He's not coming back from that, and I wouldn't be surprised if you could chop heads with that blade."

Adonatus nods with a smirk as the experts move onto the next ballistic torso with Marcus picking up the Dawnguard Shield and its stand. He examines it before saying, "I don't see any damage to this. Looks like it held up well."

"It did cause some edge damage to the sword," Adonatus mentions as he shows the tiny bit of damage to the expert, "But that's what happens when you hit metal with a sword."

Taking off the Dawnguard Heavy Helmet, Amber looks at the head with not much visible damage to the skull before she says, "The helmet looks to have taken much of the force from the strike. He's most likely surviving, but he'll be stunned from the blow."

"Let's get the armor off," Dexter says before he helps Marcus and Amber remove the Dawnguard Heavy Armor. Upon the armor set being removed from the gel torso, the experts see a bit of damage to the sternum having a chip in it.

"Alright, so the thrust got through and hit the sternum," Amber explains as she looks at the injury, "However, the armor most likely took much of the impact so it's only minor damage. That said, it's still causing a lot of pain and this guy's not having a fun day."

"Which means that your unarmored target is dead and the armored target is injured and stunned," Dexter tells the expert, "Great job on showing that off."

"You're welcome," Adonatus replies happily.

The damage that the Silver Dawn Sword delivered is impressive, but the Dawnguard are ready to bring out their melee weapon of choice to match it.

"We often don't use swords when fighting vampires," Isran remarks as he holds a Dawnguard War Axe in his hand, "Especially since our War Axe is perfect for tearing through vampire armor."

The Dawnguard War Axe: A war axe used by the Dawnguard which can chop through vampires and their minions with ease.

Dawnguard War Axe

Length: 26 inches

Weight: 1.75 pounds

Substance: Steel, wood, and leather

"This is our war axe," Isran informs the experts while showing them the Dawnguard War Axe, "This axe has the same additional damage affect as our Warhammer, but in a much smaller package."

"Surprised to see you guys bringing a one-handed axe," Marcus says, "I would have thought a sword would be best against vampires."

"The armor worn by vampires are often made with leather," Isran explains, "A sword is nimble, but won't have the same power that an axe does to get past that type of defense."

"Perhaps you can prove that point," Amber states while gesturing to the testing area.

"Lead the way," the Dawnguard leader replies before following after the experts.

Just like the Silver Dawn Sword, two ballistic gel torsos have been set up to test the Dawnguard War Axe with one being armored. However, this time the Silver Dawn Heavy Armor has been set up with the Silver Dawn Shield on its own stand.

Stepping up to the testing area, Isran looks at both gel targets with him looking at the Silver Dawn armor on the second. After a moment, he steps back and raises his arm preparing to strike with the war axe he has.

"Isran, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, hack them up!"

With a battle cry, Isran steps forward and brings the Dawnguard War Axe down with the blade cleaving the unarmored gel head nearly in half. Upon being stopped, he easily wrenches the axe blade out of the remains before spinning the weapon around in his hand. With the small spike now at the ready, the expert quickly swings again this time hitting the target in the center of the chest. The spike goes into the torso as a cracking sound is heard before he easily removes the weapon from the target.

Stepping away and walking over to the armored target, the Dawnguard leader raises the war axe and brings the spike down on the helmet. This makes a large dent in the helmet and the stand to wobble a bit before the weapon is pulled out with relative ease. The spike quickly gets into the armor again as the axe is swung at the body armor which causes it to pierce the left side of the cuirass. Upon pulling his weapon out, Isran spins the weapon back around to use the blade with him performing a horizontal swing with it.

The axe blade smacks the laminar plates around the waist denting one of them before he pulls the Dawnguard War Axe back to perform an overhead swing. This results in the undamaged side of the helmet to be struck and dented though the axe blade gets deflected off to the side. Stepping back, the expert sees the shield untouched and performs another horizontal swing that causes the blade to partially enter the wood though failing due to the metal rim it has.

After easily pull the blade out, Isran spins the weapon in his hand a third time before swinging which gets the spike into the metal rim the shield has. After easily taking it out, he steps away and turns before saying, "Done."

"Holy shit!" Dexter exclaims while laughing a bit, "You chopped that guy's head in half!"

"I think it goes without saying that you killed this guy on your first strike," Amber states as she looks at the unarmored target, "For your second strike, you got the spike right on the sternum and broke through it. This is causing a lot of problems, especially with it having organs such as the heart right behind it."

"Shows you exactly why we use this axe in combat," Gunmar remarks with a smirk.

Marcus takes a look at the shield and shakes his head as he says, "This shield didn't take that much damage and would still be viable for quite some time."

Taking off the helmet, Amber looks at the head which shows a small crack on one side on top of the skull. As she does, she tells the others, "And we have a cracking from where the spike went into the helmet. The blade got deflected by the helmet so that stopped some damage, but this hit dead on so we're looking at a small skull fracture. This isn't fatal since it's pretty small, but it's still causing some problems."

"Which just leaves the torso," Dexter remarks before he helps Amber and Marcus remove the cuirass. Once it's off, the experts see some damage to the upper left side of he chest through it doesn't appear to be nothing major.

"Okay, so the spike made it past the armor though it looks like it's only surface level," Amber tells the others as she looks, "And the second strike may have done some blunt force trauma which padding could have dampened. So, he's walking away though knocked on his rear."

"Which means that you easily killed the unarmored target while leaving the armored target dazed and on the ground," Dexter summarizes while looking at Isran, "Great work on showing us what that axe can do."

"Of course," Isran replies instantly.

Both weapons have been shown to be deadly, but which one grants its user the edge?

"I really have to give this one to the sword," Amber tells Dexter, "Both are lethal and the war axe can deliver more lethal blows, but the sword is better reach and more viable options in combat."

"Got to agree with you there," Dexter instantly states, "The axe is good, but the sword just has a bit more going for it."

For close range, the Silver Dawn get the edge with the Silver Dawn Sword.

Coming up, the Dawnguard bring out their unique weapon for nailing their enemies at a distance, and the Silver Dawn retaliate with two weapons that can take out enemy armor.

The Silver Dawn and the Dawnguard, who will claim the title of Deadliest Warrior?

In the Fight Club, we're one step closer to determining whether the Silver Dawn or Dawnguard would win in a fight to the death.

Both warriors have gained one edge each so far, but the Silver Dawn are ready to throw this balance off with their choice of weapon to take out enemies at range.

"Bows are among the most common range weapons in all of Tamriel," Dirdre says before picking up a Silver Dawn Bow from the table, "So it was a must have for us to use as well."

The Silver Dawn Bow: A lethal bow which the order uses to take down their werewolf enemies from a distance.

Silver Dawn Bow

Length: 70 inches

Weight: 1.85 pounds

Substance: Silver, wood, and string

"This is the bow our order uses," Dirdre explains while showing off the bow to the experts, "When combined with the silver tipped arrows we use, it's perfect for hunting down werewolves."

"Not surprised by that," Dexter states, "Though is there anything different to other bows other than the design."

"Only difference is our use of silver arrows," the Silver Dawn knight replies as she pulls an arrow from the quiver on her back, "But with how common the bow is, why fix something that still works?"

While the Silver Dawn are confident in their weapon, the Dawnguard are ready to meet the challenge with their own unique weapon.

"So they're bringing a bow that's pretty much the same as all the others?" Gunmar asks with a smile as he picks up an Enhanced Silver Crossbow from the table, "How about we show them what a game changer actually is?"

The Enhanced Silver Crossbow: A fast firing crossbow used exclusively by the Dawnguard which can kill vampires and armored foes alike.

Enhanced Silver Crossbow

Length: 40.25 inches

Bow Length: 33.5 inches

Weight: 10.64 pounds

Substance: Silver, wood, and bowstring

"This beauty is the Enhanced Silver Crossbow," Gunmar tells the experts while holding the weapon, "Unlike the normal crossbows we use, this one has silver added to it and the design improved upon."

"Now this is a surprise," Marcus states in shock before asking, "But what's with the handle on top?"

"This is how we reload it," Gunmar explains, "Once we fired a shot from it, we grab the handle and pull the bowstring back until it's recocked. It's very simple and quick to pull off."

With both groups now armed with their ranged weapons, it's time to head outside of the Fight Club to test both weapons.

Dirdre and Gunmar walk up to the testing area with the experts as they look upon ten ballistic foam torsos on separate stands split apart into two groups. All five are staggered at different distances from each other with the fifth torso of both groups wearing armor with a shield on a separate stand.

"Okay, so here's what we got," Marcus informs the two while standing next to both experts, "We'll have one of you step up and fire as many shots as you need to take out the targets. However, your fifth target is wearing the armor of the opposing side so you'll need to be accurate there."

"Well, this shouldn't be too hard," Dirdre remarks with a smirk.

"Glad to hear that," Marcus replies, "Because you'll be up first."

While the testing happens, our experts will be a short distance behind the users safety purposes.

Standing at a line drawn in the dirt, Dirdre draws an arrow from the quiver on her back and nocks the arrow onto the bowstring. Keeping the bow pointed down, she looks up and trains her focus onto the first target.

"Dirdre, are you ready?"

"Ready!" She shouts.

"On three," Dexter counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Raising the Silver Dawn Bow up, Dirdre draws the bowstring back while she aims before letting the arrow loose with it flying at the first target. The foam torso takes the arrow straight through the forehead with Dirdre drawing a second arrow which she quickly nocks onto her bow. The knight takes aim at the second torso and fires with the arrow hitting lower into the belly with the expert easily getting a third arrow out.

Aiming at the same target, the expert fires with the arrow striking just left to the center of the chest before she draws a new arrow and moves on. The third target gets hit in the shoulder before the expert draws the bow back and fires with a second arrow piercing through its neck. Upon moving onto the fourth target, Dirdre takes aim before firing with the arrow striking the target in the right eye and being buried into the foam.

Upon drawing the bowstring back once again, the knight takes aim and fires with the arrow hitting the Dawnguard Shield though bouncing off the face. Not bothered by this, she easily nocks a new arrow onto the bow before aiming and firing with the projectile hitting a plate on the brigandine. This causes the arrow to bounce off though a third arrow is pulled back and fired which hits between two of the plates.

Drawing out another arrow, Dirdre pulls the string back and aims before firing as the arrow heads for the eye slit of the Dawnguard Heavy Helmet. However, the projectile hits just above it failing to enter the helmet and bouncing off with little success.

Shaking her head, Dirdre turns around and shouts, "Done!"

"Great job, Dirdre," Marcus replies as the experts come over to examine the damage.

Amber quickly reaches the foam torsos and makes her way down the row as she states, "Okay, first target has an arrow through the brain and target four has one through the eye. With how it looks, it's pretty obvious that the arrow's gone through and hitting the brain so you've already got two deaths."

"Goes to show how deadly a bow can be," Dirdre replies as Amber looks at the other two unarmored torsos.

"Your second target has a belly wound which will cause problems and an arrow in the chest," Amber says, "If the arrow got between the ribs, then you're looking at the lung and possibly the heart so this is a possible kill shot. The third shot got a hit to the shoulder which could have hit an artery and cause it to bleed out. However, the neck shot seems to have gotten to the neck vertebrae and that being severed is a definite kill. So two wounds and two more kills."

"I think I can help you out with this one," Gunmar tells the others with a laugh as he pats the armored torso, "You got one arrow in, but the rest bounced off!"

"Well, let's see how far the arrow went," Marcus states before look at the base that's in the armor, "Looks like the arrowhead isn't fully in the armor, so it's possibly stopped by the armor."

As if to prove his point, the expert gently grabs the arrow behind the arrowhead and easily pulls it out as if it hadn't gotten past the gambeson.

"Looks like your armor held up pretty well," Dirdre tells the blacksmith, "But I doubt your Crossbow would fair any better in its test."

"How about we see about that?" Gunmar asks with a knowing smile.

With the testing for the Silver Dawn Bow complete, it's time for the Enhanced Silver Crossbow to undergo its test.

Pulling a bolt from the quiver on his belt, Gunmar grabs the loading lever and cranks the bowstring back while dropping the bolt into place. Once the string is cocked into place, he moves the lever back into position before holding the Enhanced Silver Crossbow with both hands while looking at his targets.

"Gunmar, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Raising the weapon up, he takes aim at the armored torso and pulls the lever trigger which launches the bolt through the air. In a few moments, the bolt pierces the center of the Silver Dawn Heavy Armor causing a shout of surprise and awe from the experts as Gunmar grabs another bolt. In a single movement, he reloads the crossbow with ease before taking aim and firing off the second projectile.

This time, the first unarmored target is it in the head with the bolt buried up to the fletching and blood flowing down the foam torso. After his quick reload, Gunmar moves onto the second target without armor before firing and striking it in the neck with similar results as the previous one. The expert easily performs his reload in one fluid movement again and fires the Enhanced Silver Crossbow at the Silver Dawn Shield which punches into the wooden face with ease.

Another fast reload is soon followed by the third unarmored target getting a bolt to the left side of the chest with a sixth bolt launched after about a brief pause. The bolt hits the fourth foam torso in the right side of the chest before Gunmar lowers his weapon. However, he quickly draws another bolt and reloads the Enhanced Silver Crossbow before aiming it at the armored torso as he pulls the lever.

The bolt goes sailing through the air and strikes the eye of the armored target with it being buried deep inside the target. Lowering his weapon, he turns and shouts, "Done!"

"Great job, Gunmar!" Marcus exclaims as he and the other experts walk over to the testing area.

Amber walks over to the four unarmored foam torsos and quickly surveys them as she states, "Okay, so target one is dead with the head shot and target two has a neck shot that may be severing the vertebrae so most likely a death. Three and four are hit in the lungs which would definitely kill if they don't get immediate medical treatment."

"Was the final shot necessary?" Dirdre says with sarcasm as she points to the bolt in the eye.

"Absolutely," Gunmar answers with a smile.

"Well, that's a kill shot which just leaves the last two bolts," Dexter remarks as Marcus takes the shield off the stand.

"So, you punched through and made it to the other side of the shield," Marcus observes before putting the item down, "It did its job, but more shots like that wouldn't be a good thing."

Amber looks at the bolt and grabs it before trying to pull it out only to find it stuck as she can't get it out. After a few moments, she lets go of it and gestures to Marcus who grabs the bolt and begins to pull with all his might. Relying on the Force, he slowly draws the bolt out before it finally comes lose with the tip covered in blood.

"Okay, so you got past the armor and into the chest so it's definitely a kill shot," Marcus says as he examines the bolt, "Surprised that it punched through steel armor like that."

"I was using bolts made of Dwarven Metal which are stronger than the steel ones we started with," Gunmar replies before turning to Dirdre, "And it appears that your armor didn't hold up as well to our crossbow."

Dirdre smirks before stating, "Perhaps, but I doubt you'll be walking away uninjured like the testing suggests."

The experts have shown off their ranged weapons, but our experts are confident on which one is getting the edge.

"This is an easy edge for the crossbow," Amber tells the camera, "Not only is it as fast to reload as the bow, but it's bolts punched through the armor and delivered kills."

For long range, the Dawnguard get the edge with the Enhanced Silver Crossbow.

As the final round of testing is about to begin, we're one step closer to determining who would win between the Silver Dawn and the Dawnguard.

Having the advantage with two edges to their foe's one, the Dawnguard are ready to show off the first of two weapons they believe will give them the win.

"When it comes to fighting vampires, they're going to bring in thralls and creatures like the Frostbite Spider," Gunmar explains while sitting at the table, "However, I ended up giving the Dawnguard a fighting chance by taming us some trolls."

The Armored Troll: One of the most dangerous creatures from the mountains of Skyrim given armor and weapons to unleash against the vampire threat.

Armored Troll

Height: 6'6

Weight: 400 pounds

Armor Weight: 50 pounds

Attacks: Swipe, smash, bite

"Heard you guys are bringing in an animal as a weapon," Marcus says, standing with the other experts at a table in the Fight Club.

"Yes, and that would be our Armored Trolls," Gunmar replies, "They're large ape-like creatures which have two types in Skyrim, the normal ones and the Frost Trolls which are much tougher. Once we tamed them, all we did was add armor to them including metal blades on the arms to make them more deadly."

"So these trolls sound pretty powerful," Amber states, "If we take apes into account, it means that they would have a powerful bite and their hands would be deadly weapons."

"Not to mention that both types of trolls can regenerate their wounds quickly," Gunmar adds, "Unless you attack with anything that involves fire. That impairs their healing ability and makes them easier to kill."

"Stevan, do we have a troll to test out?" Dexter asks as he turns to the resident researcher.

"We do thanks to Gunmar," Stevan answers while gesturing to the blacksmith.

"Alright, let's head outside," Dexter states before he and the others leave the table.

Due to the usage of a large animal, the testing for the Armored Troll will take place outside of the Fight Club.

The experts walk over to an Armored Troll which flexes a bit as it stands with Gunmar at its side.

"Damn, that's the size of a black bear," Dexter exclaims in surprise as the experts look at it.

"And even deadlier than a Cave Bear," Gunmar says while having his hand on the shoulder of the ape-like humanoid, "This one won't attack on sight like those you'll find in the wilds of Skyrim, but it's not to be messed with."

"Well, we have a test for it to prove that to us," Amber replies.

To test the deadly power of the Armored Troll, a ballistic gel torso and a ballistic foam torso wearing Silver Dawn Heavy Armor are set up on stands to represent two humans. Due to his talent with the Beast Trick ability, Marcus will help with the test.

Gunmar and Marcus stand on either side of the Armored Troll with the other experts off to the side to ensure their safety. About fifteen feet away from the beast are the two targets with the form torso on the right wearing the Silver Dawn Heavy Armor while a Silver Dawn Shield is on a separate stand before it.

"Okay, whenever you're ready!" Dexter calls out.

Gunmar looks to Marcus and nods with the Jedi nodding in return before stepping back along with the blacksmith. Once the two are behind the animal, Gunmar calls out, "Attack!"

The Armored Troll lets loose a bellow as it runs forward while its arms swing a bit as it moves forward. Upon reaching the two targets, the beast raises its arms and swipes with the right hand and arm blade tearing through the belly with ease. The left hand and blade slash across the chest before the Troll moves forward and grabs the gel torso's neck as it bites down on the head.

A sickening crack is hear as the top of the skull gets caved in from the bite before the Troll pulls away and spits out the gel and fake bone. Turning to the foam torso, the beast performs the same two swipes again with the left hand and arm blade knocking the shield away while the other swipe knocks the target down. Stepping over to it, the Armored Troll raises is arms into the air before bringing them down on the armored torso denting the armor from the strike while bending the front of the helmet.

Gunmar quickly whistles to stop the beast as Marcus raises his hand to connect with its mind with both methods easily calming the Troll. Both men are able to easily approach and lead the Armored Troll away from the targets as the experts come over.

"So the gel torso has been killed," Amber says as she gestures to the target in question, "There's nothing we can do to save that guy. Which just leaves the second guy."

Marcus is able to pull the foam torso up to be standing thanks to its stand before he gets help from Amber and Dexter in removing the armor. Once the armor is removed, the experts see the foam having caved in on the chest and around the face.

"Okay, this guy is not having a fun time," Amber states as she looks at the wounds, "The body armor did nothing to stop the strike. These sorts of wounds from blunt force are easily breaking bone and will be enough to kill someone even with the armor on as you've shown."

"Yes, an excellent show of power," Dirdre says as she looks at Gunmar, "However, you're assuming we don't have magic to kill your beast before it reaches us. And we have faced off against werewolves so it's not much of a threat."

"Perhaps you're right," Gunmar replies, "But the Armored Troll isn't all that we've brought for this."

With the Armored Troll having been shown off, the Dawnguard are ready to show off the second of their deadly duo.

"This may look like the Dwarven Bolt I was using earlier with the crossbow," Gunmar says while holding said bolt in his hand, "But this is far more deadly. After all...it's an Exploding Bolt."

The Exploding Bolt: A deadly projectile made with one of three ingredients to allow the crossbow to cause additional damage.

Exploding Bolt

Length: 10.5 inches

Weight: 1.5 ounces

Damage Types: Fire, Frost, Shock

Substance: Dwarven metal, wood, and various magic salts

"This little thing is an Exploding Bolt," Gunmar tells the experts while holding one of the special bolts in his hand, "We have three types based off the ingredient they're made with which causes an explosion upon impact."

"I'm surprised to see an exploding weapon today," Dexter remarks as he takes the bolt, "How exactly does one go about making something like this?"

"You can thank a determined member of Dawnguard for these," Gunmar explains, "They found some ancient schematics which allowed us to add either fire salts, frost salts, or void salts during the making of these bolts to create the explosion."

"Well, let's take this outside if we're dealing with explosions," Amber states.

Outside the Fight Club, our experts have set up six targets in groups of two to test the deadly power behind the Exploding Bolts. Three of the targets are wearing the Silver Dawn Heavy Armor and are ready to measure the potential.

"So, we've set up these foam torsos to measure how lethal the explosions will be," Stevan says as he stands next to two foam torsos with one wearing armor and the other having green and purple stickers, "Along with the targets for the Exploding Bolt of Shock being hooked up to measure the current, we're employing shockwatch stickers on both the unarmored and armored targets. Triggering the purple stickers will mean that the person is disoriented while any greens will mean death."

With the targets now set up, it's time to test the Exploding Bolts.

As Gunmar stands on a line in the dirt, he holds the Enhanced Silver Crossbow in his hands as he loads an Exploding Dwarven Bolt of Shocks to use.

"Alright, Gunmar," Marcus tells him, "You'll use one of each type of Exploding Bolt to take out the three groups. The group on the left is wired to measure the Shock damage, but the other two can be hit by either of the other two."

"Right," Gunmar replies with a nod, holding the crossbow at the ready as the Jedi retreats to safety with the others.

"Gunmar, are you ready?"

"Yes!"

"On three," Amber counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Raising the Enhanced Silver Crossbow up, Gunmar takes aim at the unarmored and pulls the lever trigger which fires the weapon with the bolt flying through the air. Upon hitting the target, the Exploding Bolt of Shocks causes an explosion of electricity which hitting both foam torsos. The unarmored target collapses to the ground while it has the bolt in its head before the expert easily reloads the crossbow with an Exploding Bolt of Ice.

As he brings the weapon up, the blacksmith moves his aim between the two targets before moving towards the pair of foam torsos on the right. He pulls the lever trigger which sends the projectile flying through the air before smacking into the center of the armored torso. The bolt causes an icy explosion that sends the armored torso the ground with both targets coated in frost.

Once he quickly reloads the Enhanced Silver Crossbow, the expert aims it at the final pair of targets with the weapon now loaded with a Exploding Bolt of Fire. He carefully aims the weapons and fires the bolt forward which strikes the unarmored target and causes an explosion. This explosion is a fiery one which causes the unarmored torso to be burning a bit while the armor is partially scorched from the flames.

"Done!" Gunmar shouts as he turns to the experts.

"Amazing work, Gunmar!" Dexter shouts as he and the other experts walk over to the testing area.

Upon reaching the pair of foam torsos in the center, Marcus uses a fire extinguisher to put out the fire on the unarmored target which lays on the ground. Once the fire's put out, Amber walks over to the scorched torso which has a bolt in the center of the chest.

"So, we don't need to talk much about this one," Amber says with confidence, "You shot him in the heart and they'll probably get third degree burns on their body from those flames. Even without the lethal hit, they'll be a goner from that strike alone."

"And that's just from the fire damage," Gunmar remarks with a smirk as the experts begin to remove the damaged armor from the foam torso. Once the armor is removed, the experts find no wounds...and clean shockwatch stickers.

"Wow, even the purple didn't trigger," Dexter observes in amazement, "Which means that the force behind the explosions are more about killing one guy."

"Well, we'll need to check the other targets," Marcus replies.

The experts quickly head over to the targets exposed to the Exploding Bolt of Ice with them reaching it quickly. Upon reaching it, Amber checks out the downed armored torso while Dexter looks at the unarmed torso.

"So, we've got some frost damage that could cause some problems given the sudden drop in temperature," Dexter states as he looks at the target, "And we've got clean stickers so once again the explosion failed to even disorient this guy."

"Well, we do know that this one's dead," Amber remarks as she brings up the armored torso, "Another center of chest shot and through the armor so they're not making it."

"Which just leaves the electric targets," Marcus observes.

With the sensors inside the final two targets, out experts take a look at the readings to see how deadly the bolt was.

"Okay, we've got a reading," Dexter says as he looks at a laptop on a table where the experts were, "Looks like we're measuring above the lethal 2700 volts range on the target hit. However, the other guy got far less meaning that he's making it out but probably with some scarring."

Marcus walks back to the others as he says, "Stickers weren't tripped on those two either. So, the lethality is focused more on the person hit with the explosions hurting those around them."

"So you have a projectile that's only a bit better than your normal ones," Dirdre remarks as she looks at Gunmar, "Not much of an improvement over what you've already shown."

"It is when you consider that it and the Armored Troll can knock you out of the fight," Gunmar says in return.

"Then perhaps we'll show you what we've got," Adonatus replies before he and Dirdre walk away.

The Dawnguard are confident in their weapon combination, but the Silver Dawn are ready to challenge this with the first of their own duo of weapons.

"When we're without a sword and need to fight in melee," Adonatus says while holding a Morning Star in his hands, "You can't go wrong with a weapon like a mace."

The Silver Dawn Mace: A morning star used by the knights that can easily smash its way through flesh and bone as well as armor.

Silver Dawn Mace

Length: 24 inches

Weight: 2.03 pounds

Substance: Steel, silver, wood, and leather

"This is the mace we at the Silver Dawn use," Adonatus states as he shows the experts the weapon, "It's different from other maces you'll find in the rest of Tamriel due to how it's made and its use against werewolves."

"Looks like a fully metal morning star," Dexter remarks, "So is it just all metal?"

"We actually made this hollow to accept a wooden shaft from the bottom," Adonatus explains, "Which allows it to maintain its form without fear of the weapon breaking in combat."

"Speaking of combat," Amber interjects, "Perhaps you'd like to show us what it can do in a fight."

"Of course," Adonatus replies.

To test the killing power of the Silver Dawn Mace, we've set up a ballistic gel head and a ballistic gel torso wearing the heavy armor of the Dawnguard.

Adonatus steps up to the testing area to see the ballistic gel head on a stand while the armored gel torso is resting on a black table. He looks at both targets before nodding and raising his arm into the air as he prepares for the count down.

"Adonatus, are you ready?"

"Ready!" the commander shouts.

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Letting out a battle cry, Adonatus swings the mace down onto the ballistic gel head and easily breaks the top of it open splattering fake blood, bone, and brain matter around. Backing up, the expert quickly moves onto the armored torso with him performing a horizontal swing at the Dawnguard Shield. This causes a dent to it as another dent is quickly given upon the second strike before the commander goes for another overhead swing.

The Silver Dawn Mace hits the top of the helmet and dents it easily as the expert brings the mace back up and swings it down onto the left shoulder. This causes the pauldron to be badly dented along with a faint sound coming from the gel torso before the expert performs a swing to the body. Smacking into the brigandine, the mace causes the body to shake as its wobbles on the table before another strike its the chest to get the same result.

"Done!"

"Great job, commander!" Marcus exclaims as he and the others walk over.

"Damn, you broke this guy's head open," Dexter says with excitement, "This is definitely killing him especially with that strike."

Looking at the shield, Marcus quickly accesses the damage before saying, "Well, the shield held up though it is damaged pretty good. This guy's getting a new one if he survived the strikes."

"I think the key word there is 'if'," Adonatus remarks before Amber, Marcus, and Dexter work together to remove the Dawnguard Heavy Armor. Once it's off, they see a large crack in the skull along with the bones in the left shoulder and ribs having cracks as well.

"Okay, so the skull fracture is pretty bad and causing a concussion, possibly a killing blow," Amber explains while looking over the wounds, "This shows how strong maces were against armor. With the shoulder and ribs, those are fractures as well with the shoulder one taking out the arm while the ribs are causing a lot of pain. Neither will cause death, but will be making killing the target easier."

"That gives you a kill, a fatal injury, and two disabling strikes," Dexter summarizes.

"Yeah, but that weapon needs to get past our crossbow and troll," Gunmar remarks with a smirk, "Which does leave the question of how you're going to get past that."

"We have something in mind," Dirdre replies with a smile.

The Silver Dawn are now ready to bring forth their second weapon for testing, and this time it's got quite the punch.

"Magicka is quite a common weapon to use in Tamriel," Dirdre says while holding a Silver Dawn Staff in her hand, "And our Mages make use of Destruction Staves such as this Inferno Staff."

The Inferno Staff: A Destruction Staff in the Silver Dawn Style which can unleash deadly fire magicka on any enemy.

Inferno Staff

Length: 60 inches

Weight: 4.5 pounds

Substance: Silver, steel, and leather

"This is an Inferno Staff that our mages can use in combat," Dirdre states as she shows off the staff to the experts, "This particular staff is a Destruction Staff which specializes in fire damage unlike the Ice or Lightning Staves we also use."

"Ah, so we get to see some magic being used," Marcus remarks, "Will you be showing us the full potential of the staff during the test?"

"I'm actually not able to do that to its fullest," Dirdre admits, "But I can show off the active abilities one will get when using one of our Inferno Staves."

"Well, let's take that outside and see what it does," Dexter suggests.

Outside the Fight Club, seven targets have been set up to test the destructive power of the Inferno Staff against a human target. In this case, seven foam torsos will take the place of humans in the test with three of them wearing Dawnguard Heavy Armor sets.

Dirdre stands before the testing area to see the seven foam torsos with four of them – three unarmored and one armored – on their stands far apart from each other. However, the last unarmored torso is flanked by the other two armored torsos with all three spaced about five feet from each other in a half circle.

Knowing what she'll need to do, Dirdre prepares herself with her raising the staff as she holds the weapon with both hands. While she waits for the start of the test, fiery magicka energy begins to focus around the wolf emblem at the top of the weapon.

"Dirdre, are you ready?"

"Ready!"

"On three," Marcus counts down, "Two, one, go!"

Thrusting the staff forward, Dirdre sends forth a Force Shock towards the first target with the fiery blast striking an unarmed torso and sends it to the ground on fire. Focusing on the solitary armored target, she focuses magicka energy into a fiery ball before throwing it with the Destructive Touch hitting the target. This results in the the armored target being struck and nearly falls over while being set ablaze from the strike.

Seeing the last two solitary unarmored targets, the knight raises the Inferno Staff into the air before slamming it down to create a fiery barrier while sending out a wall of fire towards the two targets. The Wall of Elements strikes both targets sending them to the ground while burning the targets causing small fires on parts of it. Once the ability is used, the expert walks over to the last three targets as she focuses on the last unarmored torso and points the staff at it.

Instantly, the staff casts Weakness to Elements with the foam torso before more magicka energy is focused into the staff before she raises the weapon into the air. This causes the Inferno Staff to unleash an Impulse sending fiery energy in a shockwave which hits all three targets and sends them down to the ground while burning.

As the magicka finally wanes from around her and the Wall of Elements dissipating, Dirdre turns and calls out, "Done!"

"Great job, Dirdre!" Dexter shouts as the experts walk over to the testing area, "You've set them all on fire!"

"So, we're looking at all of these targets on fire and obviously taking them out," Amber states as she points at the burning targets before them, "A lot of this is pretty destructive as the weapon name suggests, so I have no doubt that we're looking at a lot of corpses."

"Absolutely," Dirdre replies with a smile.

"Do all of the Silver Dawn have access to these staves?" Marcus asks in curiosity.

"Actually, no," Dirdre admits, "Not everyone is able to use magicka and we rely on mages to perform this kind of power against our enemies."

Despite the powerful display from the Inferno Staff, our Dawnguard experts are not that impressed.

"One small problem I see with you using that staff," Gunmar tells Dirdre while holding an Exploding Bolt in his hand, "We fight vampires which also use magicka so we're going to focus on taking out your mage."

"I can see that as a problem," Dirdre counters, "However, I'd like to see you do something as our mage takes out even a squad of your hunters."

Both the Silver Dawn and Dawnguard are confident of their duo of weapons, but which combo do our experts will get the edge?

"I want to give this to the Silver Dawn based on the Inferno Staff," Amber says to Marcus and Dexter, "The sheer power it has really shows how much of a game changer magicka is here."

"True, but that magicka is limited to a small number of warriors," Dexter points out, "And we do know that vampires also use magicka so the Dawnguard will quickly counter that staff to stop its usage."

"The same thing can be said with the Armored Troll and the Silver Dawn," Marcus speaks up as he looks at the other two, "That makes those two a wash since both can somewhat counter those weapons, leaving just the Silver Dawn Mace and Exploding Bolts."

"In that case, the Exploding Bolt will tip the scales here," Dexter replies instantly, "It's got far more range and will add to their long range weapon."

"Sounds about right," Amber agrees, "The Exploding Bolt tips the edge here."

For special weapons, the Dawnguard get the edge with the Armored Troll and Exploding Bolts.

Now that the weapons have been tested, the armor of both warriors have also been analyzed during the testing. So, which one gives its user the edge?

"This one is very close especially with how the testing went, but I have to give this to the Silver Dawn Heavy Armor set," Amber explains, "Their helmet is worse, but they have a larger shield and have more metal to their armor set compared to the brigandine. It's not much after the testing, but it's better to have full metal armor than one with less metal."

For armor, the Silver Dawn gets the edge with their Silver Dawn Heavy Armor, Silver Dawn Helmet, and Silver Dawn Shield.

With the testing now complete, Dexter will now load the test results and the x-factors gathered by Stevan into the simulation that will determine the winner.

Coming up, the final battle begins. The Silver Dawn and the Dawnguard, who will be the Deadliest Warrior?

The moment of truth has arrived. It's time to find out who would win in a battle between the Silver Dawn and the Dawnguard.

For the Silver Dawn, we tested five weapons that they use to fight against werewolves: the Silver Dawn Sword, the Silver Dawn Battle Axe, the Silver Dawn Bow, the Silver Dawn Mace, and the Inferno Staff.

For the Dawnguard, we tested five weapons that they use to combat vampires and their allies: the Dawnguard War Axe, the Dawnguard Warhammer, the Enhanced Silver Crossbow, the Armored Troll, and the Exploding Bolt.

For long range, the Enhanced Silver Crossbow took on the Silver Dawn Bow.

"This one is pretty easy edge to the Crossbow," Marcus tells the camera, "It was able to take out the Silver Dawn armor and it matches the bow in reload speed."

Edge: Dawnguard

For special weapons, the Armored Troll and Exploding Bolt fought it out against the Silver Dawn Mace and Inferno Staff.

"This is hard, but the Exploding Bolts help decide this one," Dexter states, "The Armored Troll and Inferno Staff can be countered by their foe and the mace can't compare to the bolts."

Edge: Dawnguard

For medium range, the Silver Dawn Battle Axe clashed with the Dawnguard Warhammer.

"This one goes to the warhammer rather easily," Amber remarks, "It's got a greater reach and was able to kill even when having to deal against armor."

Edge: Dawnguard

Finally, for close range, the Silver Dawn Sword fought it out with the Dawnguard War Axe.

"This one is close, but the sword takes this one," Dexter summarizes, "The war axe can give more powerful strikes, but the sword has a longer reach and gives the user more options."

Edge: Silver Dawn

With the weapon testing complete, our experts are now ready to input the x-factors gathered by our researcher Stevan. These x-factors will be graded on a scale of 1 to 100, with the average score being a 70.

"Okay, Stevan," Marcus says, standing at a table with the other three experts, "What did you find with these two groups?"

"Plenty, and we can begin with the x-factor of experience," Stevan replies, "Here both groups are very similar as members having prior experience plus them fighting against either vampires or werewolves depending on the group. However, the Dawnguard had to take on the Volkihar Clan along with their thralls and the various monsters under them while the Silver Dawn would seek out werewolf lairs and be employed by temples of the Divine to take on werewolves. In the end, the Silver had got a rating of 82 while the Dawnguard got a rating of 89 due to the taking on the Volkihar Clan."

"That does sound great for combat," Dexter says, "But experience doesn't help on its own."

"Which does lead nicely to training," Stevan states quickly, "Outside of both being trained in the use of their weapons with magicka for those who can use it, the Silver Dawn add in how to use magic staves while the Dawnguard in the use of their crossbow. Due to this, both were rated pretty close with the Silver Dawn at 78 and the Dawnguard at 76."

"That is pretty close," Amber remarks, "But what else do you have for them?"

"Next up will be metallurgy for their weapons," Stevan answers easily, "In this case, the Silver Dawn have a slight edge here since they have various weapons made of steel and silver while their armor are composed of steel, leather, and werewolf pelts. On the other hand, the Dawnguard make it close with their various weapons made of steel while their armor is mixed leather and steel with various other materials based on the type of armor. As such, the Silver Dawn have a small lead at 82 while the Dawnguard are at 78."

"Not enough for an edge but still better," Dexter comments, "And next should be their audacity."

"Absolutely, and here the Dawnguard have a similar lead at 88 compared to the Silver Dawn at 84," Stevan remarks, "Both fight against strong monsters that can easily kill normal people, but the kind of monsters really matters here. Werewolves are easily stronger, faster, and very dangerous, but vampires have magicka along with thralls and monsters they can control."

"Then that leaves the last x-factor," Marcus points out.

"And that happens to be the x-factor of ferocity," Stevan states, "This is very close with the Silver Dawn have a rating of 85 and the Dawnguard have a rating of 83. What makes this close is that the Silver Dawn will kill and skin werewolves that they kill for their armor while the Dawnguard make use of unique weapons and trained trolls to slay vampires."

"Alright, let's get the x-factors into the simulation," Dexter says.

With the x-factors now being put into the simulation, Dexter will load the date into the program that will simulate a thousand battle between five Silver Dawn knights and five Dawnguard hunters.

It's a battle of opposites.

Werewolf Slayers...

(Two Silver Dawn archers fire their Silver Dawn Bows pelting a pair of werewolves with arrows before a knight rushes from the side and smashes her Silver Dawn Mace into one of their heads.)

Versus Vampire Hunters

(A Dawnguard hunter fires an Enhanced Silver Crossbow at a vampire with them being killed by the Exploding Bolt before firing a second bolt to kill a thrall rushing towards him.)

"Alright, time to see the results," Dexter remarks as he presses on a single key on his keyboard.

-X-x-X-

As the sun begins to rise over the mountains of The Reach, five beings native to Tamriel are walking over a bridge on the main road over the river fed by a waterfall. These people are wearing different types of Silver Dawn armor with werewolf pelts adorning the shoulders and having green clothing under their armor. The person leading them is a male Breton wearing a heavy set of armor with a Silver Dawn Battle Axe in his hands while having a Silver Dawn Sword in a scabbard on his belt and a Silver Dawn Shield on his back.

Walking behind him is a female Imperial wearing a medium set of armor with a quiver of arrows on her back while holding a Silver Dawn Bow in her hands and a Silver Dawn Sword sheathed on her belt. Coming onto the bridge are two Bretons wearing light armor sets with the first being a woman wearing robes while the second is a man wearing a jerkin. The former is using an Inferno Staff to walk with while the latter has the same weapon set as the female Imperial. The final member of their group is a male Nord wearing a heavy armor set with him holding a Silver Dawn Mace and Silver Dawn Shield in his hands while a Silver Dawn Sword rests in its scabbard on his belt.

These people, in order of appearance, are Gaston, Aia, Irene, Esmond, and Frofnir. They are knights of the Order of the Silver Dawn having come to route out any werewolves in the province of Skyrim.

Silver Dawn: 5

"Any word from Gaius?" Frofnir asks as they walk over the bridge.

"Nothing yet," Gaston answers, "But hopefully he hasn't been turned into a meal for any lycans."

"Fear not," Irene remarks, "He has magicka on his side. He shall prevail over any of lycans who dare prey on him."

The others nod as they continue up the main road towards the city of Markarth.

-Xx-

In the nearby mountains at the Dwarven tower know as Reachwind Eyrie, four beings also native to Tamriel rest at a makeshift campsite as a fifth person walks towards them from the tower. All five are wearing different sets of Dawnguard armor while an Armored Trolls swings its arms rather restlessly. The person coming from the tower is an Argonian with green scales wearing a set of brown Dawnguard Heavy Armor with a sword on his belt and an Enhanced Silver Crossbow resting on his back under his Dawnguard Shield.

The closest people to him at the campsite as he sits down are a male Orc and female Nord both of whom are wearing different colored Dawnguard Armor and Dawnguard War Axes in loops on their belts. The Orc has grey colored armor with him holding a Dawnguard Warhammer while the Nord is wearing red colored armor with an Enhanced Silver Crossbow slung onto her back.

A standing member of the group is wearing grey Dawnguard Heavy Armor and a Dawnguard Full Helmet over her head while having a Dawnguard Warhammer on her back and a Dawnguard War Axe on her belt. The final member of the group, a male Nord wearing brown Dawnguard armor but no helmet, stands guard as he holds an Enhanced Silver Crossbow in his hands while a Dawnguard War Axe is held by a loop over his belt.

These people, in order of appearance, are Varanus, Moth, Idgrod, Saadia, and Kjeld. They are hunts of the Dawnguard who rested the previous night in this location.

Silver Dawn: 5

Dawnguard: 5

"Got what you need?" Moth asks the Argonian as the latter pulls out a reddish gold ingot.

"Yep," Varanus replies, "Got a lot of ingots and Dwemer items we can smelt down once we return to the Fort. Enough to make more Dwarven Bolts with."

"That's good," Idgrod says before turning to the other two, "Is Gunjar back yet? We'll need to return to Fort Dawnguard soon."

"He's still scouting ahead," Kjeld informs them, "He should return-"

Suddenly, a roar echos from nearby causing the hunters and the Troll to look in the direction that it came from.

"What was that?" Saadia asks as the others get to their feet.

"Whatever it is, it's close by," Varanus quickly answers as he draws his Dwarven Sword and Dawnguard Shield, "Let's go!"

With that, the five hunters and the Armored Troll quickly take off as they head in the direction the noise came from.

-Xx-

The five Silver Dawn knights, having heard the roar as well, rush into a small clearing in the mountains that's close to the main roads as they find it having a couple trees and a bridge over a river. They stop once the bridge is in view and they see a Silver Dawn mage holding a Silver Dawn Staff on the bridge.

"Gaius!" Esmond exclaims, "We heard a werewolf! You okay?"

"More than okay," Gaius replies, "I slew the wolf...but not before it regained human form."

At that, Gaius gestures down to the body under his feet showing a person wearing Dawnguard Heavy Armor which has frost on it.

"Well, there's always other pelts you can get," Frofnir remarks, "Now, let's continue to Markarth and-"

However, the Dawnguard arrive down the path leading up to the mountains with them seeing the mage over their fallen comrade. Without a word, Varanus charges forward as Idgrod holds up her Enhanced Silver Crossbow and fires it. The bolt strikes the mage in the back, making them gasp and turn around.

In time to see Varanus spin and behead them.

"Gaius!" Gaston shouts, the Silver Dawn shocked by the sudden attack.

However, Irene takes her Inferno Staff in both of her hands and conjures magic at the top before launching a Force Shock at the Argonian. Seeing the coming attack, Varanus vaults himself over the side of the bridge and into the shallow river below to avoid the magicka as it lands on the bodies causing a fiery explosion. Idgrod reloads her crossbow before she and Kjeld fire off bolts at their new enemies as Aia and Esmond fire arrows from their Silver Dawn Bows in return.

Varanus hides in the shadow of the bridge as he switches from his sword and shield to his Enhanced Silver Crossbow as he loads one of his normal bolts. However, Esmond fires an arrow which flies through the air and strikes Kjeld in the eye causing him to freeze. A second later, he drops his crossbow and falls to the ground dead.

Silver Dawn: 5

Dawnguard: 4

Getting away from the bridge, Varanus takes aim and fires his Enhanced Silver Crossbow which strikes Esmond in the upper chest making the Breton screaming in pain as he fires an arrow into the ground. However, his scream is silenced as Idgrod fires an Exploding Bolt of Fire which hits him and causes a fiery explosion sending his burning corpse to the ground.

Silver Dawn: 4

Dawnguard: 4

Saadia and Moth charge forward while letting out battle cries as the Armored Troll follows after them while Idgrod reloads her crossbow to fire again. The knights prepare for the charging enemies as Varanus fires another Dwarven Bolt which flies towards them.

However, Irene sees the bolt coming and smashes her Inferno Staff into the ground summoning a Wall of Elements which moves across the ground. The wall quickly burns the bolt away as the Argonian moves out of the way as he's nearly hit by the flames and falls into the shallow river. He scrambles to get out and move out of the way with Aia firing an arrow at Varanus though the arrow barely misses his head.

As Irene turns her attention to the charging hunters on the bridge, she and the knights see the two Dawnguard hunters moving out of the way to allow the Armored Troll to run past them. Frofnir moves forward to attack, but gets strike by a swipe from the animal sending him to the ground and losing his Silver Dawn Shield. Irene quickly uses her staff to inflict Weakness to Elements upon the animal as Aia fires an arrow into the beast which hits its chest.

Varanus and Idgrod quickly put their crossbows on their back and switch to their sidearms with the Argonian moving over the large rocks while the Nord charges towards the bridge. As this happens, the two Dawnguard hunters on the bridge rush forward while Frofnir screams before the Armored Troll smashes its twin fists on his face to break his head open.

Silver Dawn: 3

Dawnguard: 4

Reacting fast, Irene launches an Impulse with the surge of fire striking the monster while the last two knights back away to avoid being hurt by the magicka. The Armored Troll falls onto its knees as its body tries to reverse the damage as Saadia swings her Dawnguard Warhammer at the mage who backs up to avoid the strike.

Seeing the downed animal, Gaston moves forward and swings his Silver Dawn Battle Axe which chops into the throat of the creature as an arrow pierces its left eye. Drawing his weapon out as the beast falls down dead, he sees Moth charging while swinging his warhammer which the knight blocks with the shaft of his battle axe.

Firing off an arrow, Aia manages to hit Idgrod in the knee as she's still on the bridge while Irene avoids another swing from Saadia. The mage quickly retaliates by striking the ground and summoning a second Wall of Elements with the flames striking Saadia burning her alive. However, the wall keeps moving and incinerates Idgrod whose unable to move out of the way.

Silver Dawn: 3

Dawnguard: 2

Irene turns to see Moth thrusting the top of his Dawnguard Warhammer into Gaston's chest and sends him stumbling back with his armor dented. However, she screams as Varanus' Dwarven Sword pierces straight through her belly before he lets go of the hilt moves to avoid an arrow that hits the mage.

Turning to seeing his fellow hunter, Moth quickly draws his Dawnguard War Axe and shouts, "Varanus, catch!"

Varanus sees his fellow hunter tossing his axe towards him and easily catches it as Irene turns around to use her Inferno Staff. Unfortunately for her, Varanus swings his right arm up as the blade of the Dawnguard War Axe splits her face open and sending her to the ground.

Silver Dawn: 2

Dawnguard: 2

As Varanus blocks an arrow, the Orc smacks the Silver Dawn Battle Axe out of Gaston's hands before moving the hilt of his warhammer to behind his foe's head. Instantly, Moth bashes his forehead into the Breton's face three times causing him pain despite wearing a helmet unlike his foe.

As the knight falls to the ground injured, Varanus charges forward while blocking a second arrow as Aia backs up to get some distance. However, she sees out of the corner of her eye Moth bringing his Dawnguard Warhammer up and driving the back spikes into Gaston's head.

Silver Dawn: 1

Dawnguard: 2

Throwing her bow at the Argonian, Aia charges for the Orc while drawing out her Silver Dawn Sword and reaches the hunter before they can react. Without a moment of hesitation, she easily spins around and beheads Moth sending his head into the water as his body drops to the ground.

Silver Dawn: 1

Dawnguard: 1

Moving to Gaston's body, Aia scrambles to roll him over and looks up as she grabs his shield to see Varanus about to chop into her head. However, she's able to raise the shield and blocks the strike which splinters the wood that makes it up.

Aia stands up as she and Varanus look at each other with their shields before them ready to block with the former having her Silver Dawn Sword and the latter having a Dawnguard War Axe in their hands. Both remain still for a moment before the Argonian tries to attack her with a horizontal strike only for the shield to block it as the axe blade splinters it a bit. Acting fast, Aia performs a thrust with her sword only for it to be blocked by the Dawnguard Shield before throwing out her shield in a bash.

Caught off guard, Varanus falls onto his back from the shield bash with the knight swings her weapon at her foe's head. However, the hunter raises his shield to cover his head and blocks it while kicking her in her chest. This forces his opponent back as Varanus rolls back onto his feet and throws his Dawnguard War Axe straight at her.

Raising her shield, Aia is able to block the strike before lowering it to see the Argonian running over the bridge back to the other side. Seeing this, she runs after him as fast as she can with the knight ready to kill her last foe.

Upon reaching the end of the bridge, Varanus throws his Dawnguard Shield to the ground and turns around while drawing out his Enhanced Silver Crossbow. Seeing him aim, Aia raises her shield only for the bolt to be shot and strike her shield to cause an electric explosion.

The shield flies out of her hand surprising Aia as she steps back and sees the Argonian reload the crossbow with another Exploding Bolt of Shock. Realizing what's going on, the Silver Dawn knight charges forward and swings her Silver Dawn Sword to kill her opponent before she can be shot.

However, Varanus raises his Enhanced Silver Crossbow to block the strike before forcing his weapon forward striking Aia in the face with it. As she steps back, the Dawnguard hunter aims and fires the bolt which instantly hits the knight square in the chest.

Another electric explosion happens which sends Aia rag-dolling onto the bridge before her body stops as she lays on the ground dead.

Silver Dawn: 0

Dawnguard: 1

Lowering his Enhanced Silver Crossbow, Varanus looks at his fallen foe and gives them a nod as he breathes heavily from all that happened. After a few moments, he raises his right fist into the air and lets out a shout of victory.

-X-x-X-

"Out of a thousand battles, the Dawnguard was able to obtain a hard earned victory over fifty-one percent of the time," Dexter explains, "This was helped thanks to their amount of anti-armor weapons and their experience with fighting more human style foes."

The Silver Dawn did not go down without a fight, being able to claim 483 total kills. Their Inferno Staff and Silver Dawn Sword claimed the most kills while their Silver Dawn Battle Axe was unable to compete.

Silver Dawn Battle Axe: 37

Silver Dawn Sword: 116

Silver Dawn Bow: 89

Silver Dawn Mace: 101

Inferno Staff: 140

Total Kills: 483

Ultimately, it was the Dawnguard who gained the victory with 517 total kills. The Exploding Bolts and Enhanced Silver Crossbow were their best weapons with their weakest link being their Dawnguard War Axe.

Dawnguard Warhammer: 82

Dawnguard War Axe: 38

Enhanced Silver Crossbow: 139

Armored Troll: 111

Exploding Bolt: 147

Total Kills: 517

However, it was the x-factors which played the largest role in this match. Both groups had slight edges and were too close to call in some of the x-factors, but the Dawnguard claiming experience allowed them to have a leg up over the Silver Dawn.

X-Factors:

Experience 82/89

Training: 78/76

Metallurgy: 82/78

Audacity: 84/88

Ferocity: 85/83

"The x-factors made this so close as both were able to match each other in nearly every category," Stevan explains, "Which is why this battle could have gone either way, but the one edge for the Dawnguard allowed them to get the win."

"I'm not surprised that the best weapons for the Dawnguard were their crossbow and bolt," Marcus comments, "They're a deadly weapon combination and helped them in controlling the battle."

"The Silver Dawn and their equipment is perfectly suited for fighting werewolves," Amber remarks, "But the Dawnguard hunt vampires and their equipment was far more suitable for fighting humans."

"I have no shame that we lost to the Dawnguard," Adonatus states with a smile, "They certainly proved their worth, and we'd be honored to fight alongside them if our groups ever meet."

"The Silver Dawn certainly have proven that they can fight against werewolves," Isran tells the camera, "But today, the Dawnguard proved that we are the Deadliest Warrior."

(Inside Fort Dawnguard, Varanus walks through the halls as he enters a room full of trophies from battles against the Volkihar Clan and other fallen vampires. The Dawnguard hunter walks forward towards a weapon rack and puts the Inferno Staff from the Silver Dawn into it.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?

Ray Tanaka: Finally, after so long, I've finally got the chapter out! I actually started this at the beginning of the year, but family emergencies got me early on and then I got distracted with other stories for another fanfic website that I'm working on. However, late last month, I decided to focus on this story so that I can get it out sooner and managed to power through writing this so here we are.

So, the battle ended up very close and may have gone differently if I had bothered to look up the abilities that Destruction Staves had in ESO since I wasn't aware of how powerful they are until writing the testing section. As such, I can understand if others think that the Silver Dawn would have won based on their staff alone though I still feel that what I ended up with is still valid. That also explains why the battle is so weird with not every weapon getting a kill since I underestimated how powerful the staff was and wanted to show that off. I did reference a few kill animations from Skyrim in the simulation since I've seen plenty of them from playing it while the extra Silver Dawn mage and Dawnguard hunter were there to actually have the fight happen. I honestly had no idea how else to get them to fight since I doubt they'd randomly attack each other without reason. Final thing to note is that Varanus is actually based on my first Skyrim character of the same name and I originally intended to have him use an Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow as a reference to the Dwarven items from the Dawnguard DLC. Ended up changing it hence why he has a Dwarven Sword but the kills with it don't count to the simulation.

Speaking of crossbows, the Dawnguard actually use the normal "Crossbow" weapon and the "Enhanced Crossbow" variant while the Silver Crossbow comes from DLC found in the Creation Club that expands the Crossbows in-game. I mostly did this since I actually prefer the expanded crossbows over the base one and the Silver Crossbow appears like the best replacement for the normal one. Other than that, their weapons and armor were pretty easy due to how few they have and I'm happy to have included all five colored variants of the Dawnguard armor sets in the simulation. For the Silver Dawn, their weapons have more variety which made deciding on their weapons a bit more difficult. But I'm happy with the load out I chose and hopefully inspired others to use them in future battles!

As for next time, we have a battle that I'm surprised hasn't been done a lot more. However, it does allow me to do something interesting and I've already got ideas on how to do the simulation for that one! And since I've kept you all waiting for this one, I'll leave you guys with what I've got planned in the coming chapters:

Scottish Pikeman vs. Spanish Conquistador

Cobra Commander vs. Red Skull

Enigma Corporation vs. Center for Disease Control (Call of Duty Zombies)

I hope you all enjoyed and are looking forward to the next chapter!
