Blossom has elemental breath, Bubbles has sound wave powers, what about Buttercup?
(this idea has been in my head for the past 2 days, here you go)
Buttercup sat at the table next to her sister Blossom. the Professor sat next to her while Bubbles sat across from her. Blossom was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the Professor was eating a cucumber sandwich and Bubbles was eating a ham and cheese sandwich.
Buttercup bit into her peanut butter and banana sandwich before quickly spitting it out.
"ugh! why does this taste so weird!?" Buttercup shrieked.
"let me try" Blossom replied, taking the sandwich and biting into it as well.
"tastes fine to me, just full of banana for some weird reason" Blossom explained, passing the sandwich back to Buttercup after finishing eating what she had bit off.
"it tastes disgusting to me, like its filled with poison or something" Buttercup spat back, scanning over the bottom of the sandwich.
"its like a worse version of the taste that's been in my mouth for the past hour" she continued, placing the sandwich on her plate and folding her arms against her green dress.
"oh stop complaining-" Blossom paused, processing what Buttercup had just said.
"did you say there's been a taste in your mouth for the past hour?" Blossom asked.
"what are you, a copycat? also yeah, there's been a gross taste in my mouth since I woke up" Buttercup replied.
"let me try again" Blossom replied, grabbing the sandwich again and taking a small bite, closer to where Buttercup had bit into it.
next thing they all knew, Blossom was unconscious on the floor. that was when Bubbles finally started paying attention.
"what happened!?" Bubbles screamed, having stopped eating and doodling at the same time.
"I-I don't know!?" Buttercup was holding back tears as she silently prayed in her head that Blossom wasn't dead.
she didn't know why she was panicking either, she just was.
the Professor dropped to his knees, checking Blossoms heartbeat.
"she's still alive" the Professor calmly announced, a mix of worry and seriousness on his face. mostly worry.
that was when Buttercup noticed the sandwich on the floor, a light yellow liquid silently dripping from where she had bit into it.
her thoughts were spiraling as she zoomed to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.
she opened her mouth to see the tooth she had lost 2 days before was being replaced by a sharp tooth tipped in the same light yellow liquid. shock was clear in her voice as her thoughts spiraled more and more.
"did I-" she choked on her words as she came to a realization.
"did I accidentally poison my sister?" Buttercup uttered under her breath.
"Buttercup?" Bubbles quietly stated from the other side of the door frame.
"the Professor told me to check on you while he took Blossom to the lab to figure out what happened, are you okay?" Bubbles asked, cautiously stepping into the doorframe, closer to a silently panicking Buttercup.
Buttercup looked at Bubbles, seeing the innocence and worry in her eyes.
"I-I" Buttercup choked on her words as she realized what she was about to admit.
"I think I poisoned Blossom" Buttercup muttered.
"what?" Bubbles replied, shock and confusion dominating her voice.
(this is my first ever piece of fanfiction so sorry if its bad, I'm happy to hear criticism!)
