The Halloween Party Cancelled
"Buster! Edwin! Did you guys ruin the party?" Susie asked.
"Sherlock Holmes would never do a thing like that!" Edwin said to Susie.
"Nor would Doctor Watson!" Buster said to Susie in agreement with Edwin.
"Well, if you two didn't do it," Alisa asked Buster and Edwin. "then, who did?"
"It was the McNulty brothers." Buster said.
"You are lying." Angelica said to Buster.
"Buster isn't lying, Angelica," Edwin defended. "this really does have the handy work of Timmy and his brothers all over it!"
"A very likely story." Angelica said to Buster and Edwin.
That was when Betty and Howard showed up.
"I saw the whole thing," Howard said. "so, I told Betty to call the mother of that bratty squad!"
"And, what is Missis McNulty going to do, Mom?" Lil asked Betty.
"Missis McNulty is going to send all five of those sons of hers to that upstate boarding school, Lily." Betty answered.
"Yes! Who hoo!" Susie, Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Dil, Phil, and Lil exclaimed.
"Thank..." Lil began.
Howard shot is eldest child and only daughter a sharp look, "You had better watch you tongue!" he scolded.
"Goodness we won't be bullied by those boys anymore." Lil finished, she was totally embarrassed.
