Note to all: I do not own Pokémon, Kingdom Hearts or any of the characters associated with the two franchises and the respected companies that they originated from. Also, this fic will not only be focusing on Michael, but it will be focusing around Ventus, Terra, Aqua, the D-Team from Dinosaur King, and my OC, Karen Ketchum, along with their respective partners. Anyhoo, here is the sequel to the Pokémon Colosseum fic that I promised you, so enjoy.

Five years ago, the evil criminal organization called Team Shadow began their conquest for world domination in the far-off region of Orre. They were conducting experiments on Pokémon by artificially closing the doors to their hearts. Normally, Pokémon are trusting creatures, but when the doors to their hearts close, they become aggressive fighting machines. Team Shadow has named these Pokémon "Shadow Pokémon". Through Shadow Pokémon they would conquer the world with ease.

But they were pawns of a much greater evil. An evil group called Organization XIII were the true masterminds of the Shadow Pokémon project. By using these Shadow Pokémon, they would have been the Organization's tools for their goal for Kingdom Hearts.

But thankfully, their evil plot was failed thanks to the efforts of a Pokémon Trainer named Wes who has left another criminal organization calling itself Team Snatch, whom were hired by Team Shadow to snatch Pokémon from Trainers with a device called the "Snag Machine", bypassing the ownership of the Pokémon. Wes broke into Team Snatch's headquarters and stole their Snag Machine to keep it out of their hands.

Of course, it wasn't long until it hit the news, but Team Snatch had already abandoned their base in order to avoid capture from the authorities, and went into hiding elsewhere.

Arriving in Phenac City, Wes has rescued a girl named Rui who witnessed a black aura coming from the Shadow Pokémon. The black aura could not be seen by normal eyes, but by her own. It was because of that, she was captured by the henchmen of Team Shadow's admin Miror B to keep her from exposing their plans.

Grateful for the rescue, Rui has accompanied Wes to investigate the matter. Rui was shocked to hear that Wes was a member of Team Snatch before he left their organization, but Rui didn't see Wes as a bad guy because he saved her. And upon learning about the Snag Machine, Rui stated that Wes would snag the Shadow Pokémon from the Trainers who would have them.

Once the Pokéballs were acquired, Wes and Rui went through certain spots in Orre, snagging the Shadow Pokémon from Team Shadow and those who would exploit them.

During the caper in Pyrite Town, Wes and Rui have gained Keyblades and used them to deal with the Heartless.

Upon learning of the Relic Stone, Wes took the Shadow Pokémon who were close to opening the doors to their hearts to be purified. Thanks to the combination of the magic of the stone and Celebi's power, they were able to purify the Shadow Pokémon, freeing them from Team Shadow's control and Organization XIII's manipulation.

They defeated the Team Shadow admins and liberated the Shadow Pokémon from their enemies and purifying them, they learned that the mayor of Phenac City was the one pulling the strings. He was defeated and then arrested for his crimes.

The last of the Shadow Pokémon were snagged and purified, putting the nightmare to bed at last, and putting the Snag Machine to retirement.

Learning of Team Shadow's failure, Organization XIII have dispatched Axel to dispose of Wes and Rui.

They engaged the fire elemental Nobody when they ended up in the realm of darkness. And that was when many people assumed that they were dead.

Fearing that the Shadow Pokémon would return, Professor Krane and a colleague began working on the design of a new Snag Machine and a purification decive called the "Purify Chamber". He knew that the day of a new wave of Shadow Pokémon shall make their appearance known, and Team Shadow would finish what they began five years ago. Only time knew when they would reappear.

The scene opens with a cruise ship sailing across the ocean on a beautiful night.

"Steady as she goes, helmsman," the captain said.

"Yes, captain," the helmsman said.

Suddenly, several helicopters come flying in.

"What in the world?!" The captain exclaimed. Another thing occurred. They heard a loud screeching roar above them. The captain and the helmsman stepped out to see something truly frightful.

The sailors saw what looks like a Lugia, but it was completely different. Unlike a regular Lugia, it has jagged-silver eyefins, a dark-purple body with white undersides, and glowing red eyes. Its legs are also sharper, resembling claws.

"Captain, is that what it looks like?!" The helmsman exclaimed.

"Unfortunately, yes. It's a Lugia, but it doesn't match the descriptions in books," the captain said.

One of the helicopter pilots is wearing a helmet with a red eye. The red eye glowed and Lugia's eye glows as well. It sends out a violet and blue beam lifting it up from the sea. The two sailors fell overboard as the Lugia is carrying the cruise ship away as the helicopters flew along with it.

Over to the World That Never Was, Xemnas and Saix are sitting in their thrones, obviously pleased by how the Shadow Lugia has taken the ship.

"So, the Shadow Pokémon project has begun anew," Xemnas said.

"Yes, Lord Xemnas. We have waited five years for this day. It is fortunate that neither Wes nor Rui are here to foil our plans," Saïx said.

"And Sora cannot leave the Hoenn region since the Orre region is too far. But, it does not mean there won't be any interference," Xemnas said.

"What do you mean, sir?" Saix asked.

"Even with Wes and Rui gone, I have a grave suspicion our enemies will still rely on the power of Celebi to purify the new Shadow Pokémon. We cannot make the same mistakes twice," Xemnas said.

"I anticipated this, Lord Xemnas. I will send out some of our Nobodies to make certain that no one meddles into our affairs," Saix said.

"Very good, Saïx. I knew I have made a wise choice in appointing you to be second to me," Xemnas said.

"I am honored by your praise," Saïx said.

Sometime later, we see Karen Ketchum, the younger twin sister of Sora Ketchum sitting on a plane along with her trusty Pikachu, Blossom. Blossom is the sister of her brother's Pikachu. With her is her younger cousin Ventus, along with his friends from Porta Vista, Terra and Aqua. Right beside Terra is Thor and along with Aqua is Eclair. And there are their three friends, Max Taylor, his girlfriend, Zoe Drake, and their best friend, Rex Owen ne Ancient, and with them are their dinosaur friends, Chomp, a triceratops, Paris, a parasaurolophus, and Ace, a carnotaurus. They were invited by Professor Oak as they were invited by an old student of his, Professor Krane.

"This is the first time I have ever been to the Orre region," Karen said.

"Same with me. How could there be a region that there aren't any wild Pokémon living there?" Max asked.

"It is unusual to find such a place, but there are places known as Poké Spots, but that isn't the reason we're here," Professor Oak said.

"Right. It's because of the rumors of new Shadow Pokémon showing up after five years," Terra said.

"Why would there be people who would turn Pokémon into living weapons?" Ventus asked.

"Pikachu?" Sparky asked.

"There are people who exploits Pokémon for any reason. Pokémon Hunters exploits Pokémon as they are merchandise. Team Rocket had exploited them as tools to commit all sorts of crimes. Pokémon should never be abused for such selfish gains. This Shadow Pokémon scheme is clearly a demonstration of how it's cruel of humans to make them shut the doors to their hearts. It's not only cruel, but it's also disrespectful to the Pokémon to themselves," Professor Oak said.

"Well, if there are Shadow Pokémon, then they'll be sorry if they meet us, right, Chomp?" Max asked as Chomp nodded.

"We can handle anything," Rex said, petting Ace.

"And it'll be together," Zoe said as Zoe chirped.

With that said, they decide to wait and see what comes their way. But what sort of Shadow Pokémon would they encounter? Would they be anything like the ones five years ago? We'll have to wait and see.
