I do not own X Men. This is a fanfic.

Vibrant wasn't sure what to do next. There shouldn't be any plots against Humanity, if Vibrant was supposed to be the one making the plots.

Still Fury wanted a thorough investigation, so Ricky decided to hang around for a bit. Dragon and Lady Vampress were headed to a protest rally held by mutants and humans who were angry about the Sentinel Robot that was designed by government agents to destroy mutants. Turns out when your own government funds a weapon that goes loose in a city they lose trust from their people.

Vibrant and Reptiless followed behind them.

"The mission is to search out the Mutants in this crowd and recruit them to our cause," Dragon explained. "You two think you can handle it?"

Vibrant remembered back when he worked for Magneto. He promised Magneto to recruit ten people in place of his sister so long as she's left out of the war against the X-Men. Magneto refused stating that Vibrant was no better a talker then any other of the brotherhood mutants. That he was sent to recruit his sister using her love for him. "Recruiting Mutants isn't going to be easy," Vibrant sighed. "Don't sell this as a war. Just let them know your mansion is a safe haven for any mutant that feels unsafe around humans. Then they may join you because of your kindness instead of some silly cause."

"I hear what your saying," Dragon nodded. "Although I must admit. I don't like that my mansion is being treated like a hotel. I only let Seer in because of the cause he promised."

"The X-Men don't recruit soldiers," Vibrant explained. "They lend their Manor as a school and as you stated a hotel. That's why there are so many of them."

"That's why we don't sell ourselves as a new X-Men team," Lady Vampress growled. "We sell ourselves as a New Brotherhood, because our causes are similar. We need you as a leader because you've worked under power hungry individuals like Magneto and Mystique. You already know what not to do when running an army of mutants."

Vibrant looked down and Reptiless got between him and Lady Vampress. "If you guys want him as a leader then start treating him like one. He gave you directions, now follow them."

"Get out of my way little girl," Lady Vampress snarled at Reptiless who looked back at her with anger."

"I assure you Reptiless," Dragon spoke up. "While your abilities are impressive, a fight against Lady Vampress would be unwise. Despite this, I agree with you. Seer believes in Ricky's path, so we must follow it." He placed his hand on Lady Vampress's shoulder and glared at her. "He also saved us from Hydra, remember."

She backed off and then turned away aggressively.

"Why do you work with her?", Reptiless wondered.

"She and Vibrant hold an important connection," Dragon explained.

"Lilly," Vibrant muttered. He remembered the Cheerleader who helped him rob their Highschool, joined Hydra, and then turned herself into a cyborg with Vibranium bits and pieces. She dominated Lady Vampress and forced her to be a weapon for Hydra and she almost did the same to Ricky if it wasn't for X-23 interfering.

The four of them spent the day going through the crowd of people looking for others who display unique qualities. Dragon managed to find two mutants who possessed elemental abilities like controlling wind and water. Lady Vampress found a gothic kid who's skin was like that of an armadillo. Reptiless found a man with white hair and green eyes who made the tattoos on his body move around like living beings. Vibrant managed to find parents of mutants among the crowd and told them that Dragon's Mansion's location and that they could come by there whenever they wanted if they ever feel as though their kids are in danger.

"Seems like a successful job," Vibrant smiled as he met back with the others. As if on queue, a group of jeeps and motorcycles came up to the protest rally and unloaded several men wearing motorcycle helmets and different color leather jackets. They started throwing cans of teargas into the crowd and then pulled out automatic weapons and started firing off into the crowd.

"Those bastards," Lady Vampress yelled as she and Dragon charged at them. They started shooting at the two of them until they realized their guns would work on the Super Healing pair. Two of the men in Jeeps pulled out what looked like a cannon and fired a net at the two of them. When they were trapped in the net the two of them became electrocuted.

Reptiless almost charged next, but Vibrant grabbed a hold of her.

"Go back to the mansion and grab back up," Vibrant ordered. That was when another motorcycle was heard in the distance.

"Not another one of these guys," Reptiless growled.

This guy was different though. The motorcycle driver that came up on a black bike wearing a black bullet proof vest with a white skull painted on it. He grabbed his own automatic weapon and started firing at the Mutant attackers.

They all suddenly were dropping like flies. They started throwing their tear gas grenades and shot back at him with their own guns, but he was rolling behind cover and returning fire like an expert military man.

"Another one of these freaks," one of the motorcycle men yelled.

"No much worse," one of the men in jeeps cried. "I thought he was a rumor."

Ricky got a better look at him from behind the car He hid behind. The man had short buzzed black hair and charcoal eyes. He had tanned skin and black long leather jacket. Ricky turned away and moved towards Dragon and Lady Vampress's location. He pulled the net off of the two of them and ran with them to cover.

"Lets finish these bastards off," Lady Vampress suggested.

"Wait a minute," Dragon responded. "You remember what Seer said."

"When the man with the White Skull arrives turn away and head back," Lady Vampress replied. "Dammit."

"You guy's go back," Vibrant decided. "I'm going to stay and help him protect these people."

"It's your decision Vibrant," Dragon stated. "Seer told us to leave you to whichever path you choose. You'll find your way back to us eventually."

Vibrant nodded and turned towards the man in black. He charged towards the fire fight and started throwing fireballs at the men with guns assisting the man with the white skull vest.

"Get out of here kid," the man yelled at him.

"Not happening," Ricky grinned.

The man glared at Ricky and then nodded. "Fine stay, but don't you dare get in my way."

The men with guns tried surrounding them, but Ricky fired one of his fireballs at the gas tank of one of their jeeps causing an explosion that made their group scatter. That was when the man in black charged through the flames and started executing these people.

"What are you doing?", Ricky yelled as he held the man in back in stasis.

"Punishing them," the man in black yelled. "Now let me go!"

One of the men turned their gun towards their Punisher, and Ricky placed him in stasis, then the entire group.

"Mutant freak," the bikers yelled.

"You should all die," the men in jeeps joined in.

Ricky was using his power too much again, but kept his breathing steady. He knew he'll be fine as long as he keeps calm.

Ricky could hear the police sirens and then decided now was the time to let go of the stasis. He grabbed the white skull man and pulled him away.

"I don't need you carrying me," the man yelled. "Just let me run to." Ricky did as he stated and then received a hit to the face from the bottom of the man's gun. "I told you not to get in my way scar face." The man charged back in to fight again and Ricky blacked out from his head wound.
