Neb: And We head back to Queens New York with Vibrant, Reptiless, Deadpool, and Ghost. I do not own X Men Evolution. What's happened so far, so far Vibrant had been tasked to deal with anti mutant extremists. In exchange, Nick Fury had given him the location of his possible real dad. However, his real dad is a mutant just like him, and now the anti mutant extremists are invading the apartment building that Vibrant was supposed to meet his dad at. Luckily this time around Vibrant has a lot of back up. Agent Bright, a man who can project energy balls like Tabatha, but in a less explosive manner, the little white haired girl Ghost, the girl with every reptile trait Reptiless, and Deadpool the merc with the mouth. This team should...

Deadpool: Just get to the good stuff already! My show now.

Deadpool immediately got out of the car and started shooting back and forth with the activists, but to be honest he was taking more hits then they were.

"What's he doing?", Reptiless growled.

"He's giving us a chance to rescue Bradford," Vibrant realized.

"Go on ahead," Agent Bright nodded as he pulled out his own gun. "I'll help Deadpool."

"Don't need it," Deadpool laughed before losing an arm. "Wait, time out, need it!"

Agent Bright got out of the car and started firing at the activists.

"Alright time in," Deadpool yelled after putting his arm back on.

Vibrant, Reptiless, and Ghost all headed out of the vehicle towards the apartment and made their way inside.

Immediately there were activists all ready to meet them.

Reptiless ran ahead of the group and started using her flexible snake body to slip around each of them drawing their fire towards her.

Vibrant started chucking Fireballs causing them to scatter back and then Ghost moved in and started knocking each of them on conscious with just a touch.

"She's like Rogue," Vibrant figured. Then he saw their bodies started floating in the air like balloons. "Not quite like Rogue."

"That's a gross power," Repiless admitted.

"We have to keep moving," Ghost ignored her.

"There's more activists upstairs," Vibrant explained as he placed his hand on the wall and started feeling the vibrations of the particles all from within the building.

"Then we stay on offense," Reptiless decided.

"No hold on," Vibrant shook his head. "There's civilians up there also, even if they aren't mutants, there's no guarantee the activists won't use them as hostages when backed into a corner."

"So then we stealth our way through this," Ghost nodded.

"There's a lot of them," Ricky sighed. "Sneaking past them in open hallways won't be easy."

"Wait a minute," Reptiless responded as she pulled off her hoodie and unwrapped herself. "I can camouflage like an iguana. They won't see me coming."

"Then Ghost and I will draw them away, and you get to room 622," Vibrant decided. The group could hear the shooting was getting closer to the building. "I guess they got past Deadpool and Agent Bright. We need to move now."

The three of them made their way up the stairs towards floor six. Reptiless split from their group and camouflaged.

"Ready Ghost?", Vibrant asked.

"Born ready," Ghost nodded. "Phase that door off it's hinges."

Vibrant did as instructed and Ghost touched the door causing it to become light weight. The two of them nodded before charging forwards.

"Kill the freaks," one of the activists yelled as he started blasting at the doorway. The rest of them followed suit, but Ricky started vibrating the particles in the doorway like he would normally do with his rubber knife. This made the door a better shield as the door was constantly repairing itself as the bullets collided with it.

"Good power," Ghost admitted.

"Yeah but I can't use it forever," Ricky admitted. "I have some sort of mental block that prevents me from using multiple powers at once and using them for long extended periods of time. I'm going to need you to pick up the slack for me in that department."

"Understood," Ghost nodded. The two of them pushed forwards down the hallways causing the activists to back up in order to maintain their distance.

"They won't go down," one of the activists yelled.

"They will now," one of the others growled as he pulled a grenade out and chucked it over the doorway.

"Get down," Vibrant yelled as he grabbed onto Ghost and vibrated both of their particles to protect them from the explosion. Vibrant grunted as he realized he did exactly what he just mentioned and couldn't stop vibrating.

"Get them," the activist ordered as the group approached the two of them. That was before a familiar man kicked down the door to the stairwell entering floor six. A man with a white skull painted on his black shirt. "Oh no," the activist groaned before the group started taking cover.

The Punisher began opening fire with his own assault rifle at the insurgence.

"That's not all," Deadpool laughed as he and Agent Bright joined Punisher in unloading sprays of bullets at the activists.

"This is a freaking war zone," Vibrant grunted through his mask as he felt himself stabilizing.

Roaring could be heard in the distance as a man with black long hair, blue eyes, and red skin broke down the door of room 622. He had demonic like wings extending from his back and sharp teeth. Followed behind him was Reptiless.

"Found him," Reptiless called out.

The two of them charged from the other end and started striking down activists left and right.

"Oh this is amazing," Deadpool laughed as he reloaded his pistols. "I mean, not the best family reunion I've been to Ricky, but definitely in my top three."

Vibrant tried to catch his breath for a moment before creating fireballs in his hands.

The group then begun taking out the rest of the activists, any of them that made it out alive were either knocked on conscious by Ricky and Ghost or ran away.

"What are you doing?" Ricky yelled as he yanked off his mask. He looked at Punisher who was about to shoot at some of the tied up activists. "Stop that, they're beaten!"

"They aren't going to stop," Punisher yelled at Ricky.

"These bastards are out for blood," Bradford nodded. "They need to be put down."

"I agree with the big guy."

"I third that," Deadpool nodded. "And can I say what an honor it is to meet you Punisher, I am a huge fan."

"Quiet," Punisher yelled.

"Right, not the time, I'll go stand over there," Deadpool decided.

"Look I know you think you are helping mutants by putting down these monsters," Agent Bright began. "But actually your making things harder for us."

"I'm doing what needs to be done," Punisher shook his head. "If a mutant like you starts killing people, it'll change the opinions of the public, but they already know I'm crazy and not a mutant."

"Why are you fighting?", Vibrant wondered. "What's the point in killing?"

"He had already been dealing with criminals in this manner before Mutants were revealed," Bradford explained. "But my old friend Frank came here to avenge my daughter."

"Your daughter?", Ricky responded.

"Yes, she was a mutant like me," Bradford explained. "She looked human, so I thought she could go out and live her life. But when mutants were revealed to the world, people started actively looking for us. Eventually she was caught using her heightened hearing and then was killed."

"I promised I'd fight this war for Bradford to prevent this from happening to other mutants," Punisher nodded. "Because every time one of you fights, the media and the government uses it as an excuse to make war machines."

"You saw the robot on the news," Ricky figured.

"Yeah I saw," Punisher growled. "I saw how it leveled a whole block, and for some reason the people who were fighting it were called the bad guys."

"Thank you for your help Frank," Bradford nodded. "I thank all of you, though I am confused. How did you people know I was in danger?"

Ricky sighed before stepping forwards. "Can I speak to Bradford alone?"

Agent Bright nodded as he took Reptiless and Ghost away.

Bradford nodded to Punisher who nodded back before dragging Deadpool away.

"Ah, but it was getting good," Deadpool complained.

"Alright son, spill it," Bradford insisted as Ricky stared back at him.

The man had black hair and blue eyes like Ricky, but his face was shaped much different. Maybe that was because the man looked like a hulking red demon, but could this guy be?

"Do you know a Becky Miles or a Becky Barnes?"

"One in the same," Bradford nodded. "I heard she married that jack ass a long time ago and I still couldn't fathom it."

"Did you have relations with her?", Ricky wondered. "I... I think I'm your son."

The demon looking man stared back at him hard and then sighed. "She wouldn't remember because she was drunk, and she was getting ready to throw her life away marrying that red neck. No offense."

"None taken," Ricky smiled. "I think if anyone can use that term it's someone who actually has a red neck."

"Good one Ricky," Deadpool called from down the hallway.

"I swear to god Wade," Ricky shouted back at him.

"Anyways, Barnes was a piece of work and in the end he admitted he wasn't my father," Ricky explained. "Yet, Jessica also had powers, so it's not like I inherited the x gene from you."

"We the X Gene is usually a recessive trait," Bradford shook his head. "I'm sorry to say, you do have eyes like mine. But, I don't think you are my son. I had relations with your mother, but it never got far enough to reach that point. I was feeling sick that night, because I was beginning my transformation. I had to step out and get air, and before I knew it I was gone the whole night. If it wasn't Barnes she slept with, it could have been anyone in the bar we were hanging out at."

"Dammit," Ricky groaned. "So she could have slept with anyone. What was wrong with her?"

"She was throwing her freedom away," Bradford sighed. "At least in that moment she could feel free one last time."

"Do you know who all was at that bar?", Ricky wondered.

"A bunch of military gentleman," Bradford nodded. "Oh actually." That was when a gunshot was heard again.

"These guys won't quit," Ricky grunted as he ducked down. "Bradford?" Ricky turned to see glass shattered from a nearby window and Bradford laying on the ground, having been sniped. "Bradford!" Ricky ran over to him, but heard another shot, he moved his hands just in time stopping the bullet in stasis, but that required a lot of concentration. Ricky felt his leg vibrate as he hit the floor.

Punisher, Deadpool, Agent Bright, Reptiless, and Ghost headed over towards them.

Agent Bright imidiately started returning fire outside the window as Punisher ran to Bradford.

"Bradford," Punisher yelled. "Bradford!"

"I... I'm sorry Frank," Bradford grunted before closing his eyes.

Punisher was breathing heavily as he was filled with rage. He roared before heading away.

"No, no!", Ricky yelled. Sirens could finally be heard as the police started surrounding the building.

"We have to get out of here," Agent Bright realized.

"Yeah we've killed a lot of activists," Deadpool nodded.

"Dammit," Ricky grunted. as he slipped his smiling mask back on. "Let's go," Vibrant decided as the group made their way towards the staircase. Reptiless wrapped herself back up in her disguise as they headed down the stairs and the group made their way towards a back exit. There were police there who had Punisher handcuffed and slammed against a police car door.

"They got him?", Deadpool responded.

"Hey you?", one of the officers yelled before getting stuck in stasis.

Ricky put all the officers around them in stasis. "Grab Punisher and let's go."

The group were far from the scene now laying low. They had all changed outfits and were now hanging out at a deli.

Agent Bright hung up the phone and then turned to them. "Fury is coming to pick us up," Agent Bright confirmed. "He also promised not to arrest you two." He stated to Deadpool and Punisher.

"Lucky us," Frank shrugged as he bit into a sub sandwich.

"Unexpected," Deadpool admitted. "He probably has something he wants from us."

"Sorry for your loss Ricky," Ghost admitted. "And you two Frank, I understand Bradford was an old friend."

"I wanted to help him," Frank sighed before tossing his sandwich back on his plate. "But those activists don't know what hell is."

"Can you stop it with the killing?", Ricky grunted. "You guys are extreme. Way more extreme then even Wolverine was."

"Some times you have to do what is necessary," Agent Bright admitted.

"Yeah well it isn't," Ricky growled.

"I know your hurting kid," Frank shook his head. "But those guys didn't show Bradford any mercy, so why should we?"

"I don't know, be better then them?", Ricky planted his face in his hands. He then chuckled to himself.

"Something funny?", Frank wondered.

"Bradford stated that he wasn't even my father and yet I still feel like I loss an important person in my life," Ricky admitted. "It's not funny, but I was taught to smile instead of whine about it." Ricky got up from his seat. "I'm going for a walk."

"Not a good idea," Agent Bright ordered. "Fury wants us to lay low until he finds us."

"You don't get it," Ricky growled through his smile. "All of this was a waste of time, we didn't save Bradford and he wasn't even my father. I guess Becky Miles sent me in the wrong direction after all." Ricky headed towards the door but felt a hand on his shoulder. "Seriously Bright, don't try to stop me." He turned around and saw Frank had his hand on Ricky's shoulder. Ricky wasn't in the mood for a fight, but he wasn't about to back down either. He felt his Vibrant side taking over as it often did in these situations. Even more so back when he was a teenager. "What's wrong Punisher?", Ricky smiled. "Got something you want to say?" Ricky stared at him for a moment as he felt like Frank was scanning him. "What?" He saw a look of shock spread of Frank's face. Ricky wasn't sure why, but he stared back at Frank and noticed something familiar about him. Aside from the brown eyes, it looked almost like he was, staring at an older version of himself. Ricky's smile went away as the two of them stared back at each other in shock.

Neb: Finally did it, I was asked a while back to cover Vibrant's father, and how Barnes stated that his wife cheated on him. So I hope you all enjoy this little plot twist. I've been picturing it for a while, but I wasn't sure about execution until now. The reasons for it, was I wanted Ricky to be more connected to the Marvel characters. Not just the X-Men, and I didn't want it to be just some OC like Bradford, because where's the surprise in that. So there we go, the military man that Becky slept with before she married Barnes and after she got stood up by Bradford was in fact Frank Castle.
