Drew fiddled with the rose he had prepared for May. He and her were meeting up, to coordinate their double team for one of the Special Contests being held where a duo enters and can both win a ribbon.

"Good job June!" Drew practiced speaking but then shook his head," No…I say that too much! Ah, I got it! I'll say not bad Autumn! Yea!"

He shook his head as he felt satisfied that he didn't notice May arriving.

"HEY DREW!" her voice rang out," I've finally arrived!"

"Took you long enough," Drew scoffed though deep down he was panicking.

"I've got something for you!" May grinned mischievously, her hands behind her back.

"Really for me?" Drew asked in shock, hoping he wasn't blushing.

"Yea! A birdie told me it was someone's birthday! So I got you a bouquet of roses!" she squealed, pulling behind her back dozens of roses," Happy birthday Drew!"

"Solidad!" Drew growled though he was touched at May's thoughtfulness," Oh thank you."

"You don't like them, do you?" May questioned, and Drew could've sworn her ponytails grew limp.

"No!" he quickly responded, accepting the roses," I am just surprised you know it's my birthday!"

"Hahaha! I'm your friend! Of course, I had to find out and since you always gave me roses! I've counted all the roses you've given me over all the years and decided to give you back the same amount!" May giggled.

Drew knew he was blushing so he quickly buried his face in the flowers and muttered a thanks.

"She remembers all the times I gave her roses?" he pondered and his heart raced at that thought.

After a few moments, he regained his composure and slowly brought out the rose he was planning to give to her.

"I was going to give you another one today," he slowly stuttered, pulling his face out of the roses.

"Oh! Thanks!" May responded by accepting the roses," I guess I will have to buy another sometime."

"Or you can pay me by something else…" Drew declared before realizing what he just said," I mean!"

"Oh, so like a date?" May exclaimed.

"Nooo! Not like that bu—" Drew started exclaiming before May cut him off.

"I would love to have a date with you," May stated, her face becoming red.

"You would want to have a date with me?" Drew stuttered, dropping his roses.

"Mhmm…" May shyly responded," I've been meaning to ask you but I never knew how…"

Drew stood dumbfounded at this revelation.

"You mean you like me?" he screeched.

"Well, isn't that obvious?" May questioned.

"Oh…true," Drew laughed nervously," Well I guess I'll accept!"

"Great! Let's get lunch and I'll pay since it's your birthday!" she exclaimed happily, grabbing his arm and running causing him to drop his roses.

"Wait what? I thought we were training for the special competition?" Drew questioned," Plus my roses!"

"We can train another time! And who cares about roses when you get to hang out with me!" May exclaimed excitedly, still dragging Drew.

She then started laughing as she was holding on to Drew and he couldn't help but laugh along.
