May put her hand in front of her face to block out the sun that was shining down into the green field she, Brock, and Ash had camped out. In the distance, was a field that was adorned with thousands of vibrant flowers.
"Do you know they say Beautifly can be found by a multitude in a huge field of flowers," Ash exclaimed, as he stood next to her.
"Really?" May exclaimed," I wonder if this field is?"
"Let's find out!" Ash declared, running towards the field.
"Hold up!" May exclaimed, grabbing Ash by the collar," You can't just run in there to frighten them!"
"Oh… yea," Ash laughed, scratching his head.
"I got an idea! Let's send out my Beautifly!" May declared after a moment of them mulling over ideas," Come on out and steal the spotlight Beautifly!"
With that, May threw her Pokeball and her Beautifly appeared.
"Beeeuuu!" it cried out as it flew next to May.
"Hey, Beautifly! Why not go find out if there are any friends over there in the fields?" May questioned, pointing at the flowery field.
Beautifly glanced from May's finger to the field and with a shake of its head. It flew straight towards it. After a few moments of flying over the field. May and Ash spotted a few Beautiflys sticking their antennas out of the field as they spotted May's. Then suddenly dozens of them flew into the air and swirled around May's Beautifly as if they were checking it out.
"Beauu!" May's Beautifly squealed as it was talking to them.
"Wow, there are so many!" Ash exclaimed.
"Yea!" May agreed, entranced with the beautiful sight of all the Beautiflys.
"This is awesome!" Ash laughed as he ran towards the field.
"Ash!" May exclaimed as she followed him," don't frighten them!"
Ash didn't heed May's warning and just ran right into the field which startled all the Beautiflys, causing them to fly away.
"Aw, man!" Ash groaned in disappointment.
"I told you!" May stated as she was trying to catch her breath.
May's Beautifly flew down on May's head and squeaked.
"Do you think you can bring them back?" May questioned looking at her Beautifly.
"Beu! Beau!" it exclaimed excitedly and flew off in the direction they all fled.
Ash plopped onto the ground, smashing flowers along the way.
"You think Beautifly can bring them back?" Ash asked.
"Yeah," May responded, sitting next to Ash," I know it will! It is the most friendliest Beautifly I know!"
"Pokemon-like trainer," Ash muttered, slightly blushing as he glanced at May.
"What did you say?" May asked, turning towards him with a curious expression.
"Oh, nothing! Ash quickly responded, laughing nervously.
After a few moments of silence, May spotted her Beautifly and behind it, were the wild ones.
"I knew it could do it!" May exclaimed proudly," And this time don't scare them away!"
"Don't worry! I won't!" Ash grinned.
May and Ash watched as May's Beautifly flew around them with the others following the suit. Ash glanced over at May as they swirled around her making her look very pretty as she twirled along with them. Her smile lightened up the field and her eyes sparkled as they reflected the sunset rays.
"This is a beautiful sight," he thought, forever etching the experience in his mind.
