DRAGON BALL HARDCORE
THE BEERUS SAGA, part 4
.
.
Frieza was enjoying himself with the gift he was given. He was left alone on the dear planet of his great nemesis, Goku. What else would he do, if not destroy it for pure fun? It seemed none of the Earth's warriors came to stop him, so they might as well be dead. The land around Frieza turned into devastated wasteland; the sea had dried, the land was on fire and the skies turned into a mess. At that moment, fate decided to give him another precious gift.
Frieza spotted a thousand figures flying in the sky, coming towards him. He stood there and waited until everyone had landed, and soon he saw what they were. Nothing but those monkeys he exterminated… and also Vegeta. Frieza asked if they were useful for once, and got rid of the Earth's warriors so then they all can revive. Vegeta has to break it down to him that not a single one was defeated yet, meaning the last few hours were a complete disaster for the forces of hell. He took the opportunity to mock Frieza, pointing out the fact that he was left alone since he represents absolutely no risk to anyone there.
By then Frieza understood why they were there. These weaklings came to have their revenge, how cute. "Tell me, Vegeta, I killed each and every single one of you in one single blow in the past. What makes you think I can't do it again?"
"I don't know Frieza, you tell me. You feared how powerful we could become if given a chance… Now, we will give you a proper reason to fear us." Vegeta said.
Instantly, Frieza dashed past Vegeta and started tearing apart each and every single Saiyan in his path. There wasn't that much time to react considering most of them weren't strong at all compared to Frieza. By the end he reappeared in front of Vegeta, still smiling. He easily reduced their numbers by a hundred. However, Frieza doesn't seem to realize that they share the same peculiarities as him. They simply put themselves back together to fight again, not dying from the brutal decapitations and such. And so they all charged him at once; Frieza was surrounded from all sides, with Vegeta taking the lead in battle. Frieza continued to destroy more of them, but he was missing one critical fact that he learned long ago. The longer these pests survive after the battle, the stronger they become from their wounds. All of those that Frieza killed were pieced back together, coming back stronger each time. He failed to recognize that in his arrogance, he ended up making his opponents even stronger. But there was another way to shift the difference.
King Vegeta reunited his troops in the back; all of those who had not lost their tails before death. He unleashed the fake moon technique into the sky, and that changed the battle dramatically. Around three hundred giant Oozarus were coming straight after Frieza. That sight scared him, but he laughed it off as always to not show weakness. It seemed like there's nothing more fearsome than an undead army of Saiyans. This would take a while.
…
…
In a place not too far from there, Yamcha and Boku were trying to defeat the other lord of the universe. Cooler was much better than Frieza at everything, but it seems all it takes to defeat him is two people. Yamcha didn't pack the same power, but his techniques were enough to overwhelm him. In the end Cooler regretfully realized that his 4th form wouldn't be enough to kill two pitiful earthlings. He took some distance and began transforming into his ultimate form, leaving Yamcha extremely confused. He didn't expect it, but Cooler reached a new level to his race through training.
He started destroying Yamcha from then on; the power increased way past what he prepared for. In the end he was forced to flee, hide and think of another plan with Boku. He explained his ultimate technique, the Leiken. He will focus absolutely all of his energy into a sword of pure ki that will appear from his arm; leaving the rest of his body completely vulnerable. In turn he would create a cutting power sharp enough to slash reality; pretty much cutting anything on its way regardless of how tough it is. He needed Boku's help to get a chance.
Through a lot of trickery they were able to give Yamcha a good opportunity to strike. However, Cooler could feel all the power coming from that technique, so he dropped all his pride and forced himself to dodge it at all costs. Yamcha missed, and was easily hit back. That single punch from Cooler was enough to tear Yamcha in two due to the technique's drawbacks. In the end he was forced to hide again and plan another strike. Leiken was the only way for them to defeat Cooler, but Yamcha could only do it one more time before running out of energy. This time Boku would make the plan and he shuts up. Yamcha was pretty much useless as just a torso with one arm, but Boku had an idea.
This time, the boy appeared again before Cooler. He was holding a sword that was broken in half, but he taunted Cooler by saying that would be enough to defeat him in one blow. Boku rushed ahead in pure ignorance and got his ass kicked. His attempts to attack were so feeble that they drew Cooler in a false sense of security; without his father, this boy couldn't win. It was time to put him down. As Cooler stepped forward, Boku threw the spinning sword at him in a last ditch effort. Cooler would just slap it away… but it was a trap.
When the sword was close enough, it exploded in colored smoke. The sword was actually Yamcha using the Shape-shifting technique. With his remaining arm, he instantly formed the Leiken, and he slashed Cooler from the stomach down. That slice erased his midriff from existence, and he fell to the floor.
Yamcha and Boku won, and they bonded over their victory. Boku was surprised that his father actually managed to make such a terrible technique work; the first nice thing he said to him by the way. The two realized they should throw Cooler back in hell. They threw his legs in the portal, but once they turned around to see… he was gone. He simply… ran away.
"Dammit! We need to go after him right now!" Yamcha shouted.
"Why? If the two of us managed to take down that pushover then he won't be a problem to anyone else. Mr. Tien and Dina are still fighting someone strong. Let's go help them," Boku said, flying away with all the dragon balls in a makeshift bag.
"Hey! At least help me find my legs first!" Yamcha shouted.

…
…
After a while fighting, Tien realized that he might have gotten a little cocky. Fighting Cold in his final form wasn't as hard as fighting Super Buu, but it was a close second. Worst of all, his deadliest techniques didn't work on an opponent who's already dead. His Kikoho was the first good shot at Cold, but the incredible sturdiness of his species allowed him to resist the attack. He tried gathering natural energy to maybe fire his Saigoho and destroy Cold's whole body, but it didn't work. Someone had already taken all of it.
Soon after that, Dina and Dee joined the fight. Since he was fighting three enemies now, Cold decided to not hold back anymore. He saw that the girls didn't have halos so they must be alive. His attempts to kill them were thwarted by Chiaotzu, using his time stop to take them away from his attacks. They had to work together for an opportunity to fire the ultimate attack at Cold, preferably away from Earth.
Tien and Chiaotzu used the Multi-form technique, drawing Cold to the sky with their hundreds of clones. He didn't realize their trickery until it was far too late. His enemies were down below, aiming upwards. The three were doing some weird shit; putting their hands together to form a triangle. Cold figured he should stop that, so he instantly lifted his hand in order to make a big death ball to throw at them. But the moment he did, a paralyzing force stopped his whole body. It felt like his bones were frozen, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't move. He used peripheral vision to see that white clown again, using psychic powers to hold him in place. Chiaotzu's veins were popping out of his head, he couldn't hold this for too long. Thankfully, it was just enough time that they needed.
Tien and his two daughters had organized a special technique that they made up on the fly. The Kikoho forces all of the three user's energy into one point, leaving them weak if not dead, but in turn creating an extremely powerful blast that fires many times faster than light. But that attack was somehow even worse… Just imagine, three powerful people, focusing all their power into one point; not just with their energy, but the power of the planet itself.
"What are we gonna name this?" Dina asked.
"WHO CARES?! FIRE!" Dee shouted.
And so it was; the fabled "Who Cares" technique, the strongest attack in the universe. Cold was completely incapable of defending himself as he saw blinding light for a second, and in the next he was already being blasted by it. The sheer energy started to erase his lower limbs, and soon it was too bright for him to even see. That blast sent a shock through the senses of everyone on Earth. The day couldn't get more crazy.
When the lights died down, the four warriors were forced to fall on the ground without an ounce of energy to spare. It looked like the ultimate victory at first… but unfortunately they had to look up.
King Cold was standing strong… Well, something like that. He lost two legs and one arm, most of his chest as well, but his head was still in place. You can't imagine his fury; being wounded this much by three pathetic earthlings and a clown. He, the emperor of the universe. This final form was supposed to be the Super Saiyan's bane, and yet he nearly lost to four pitiful earthlings. At the end of his wit, King Cold decided to say screw this. Screw this game, screw that god of destruction, and screw this miserable planet!
With his one remaining arm and the last of his power, Cold made a death ball the size of a meteor. He quickly threw it towards the Earth's core while all the other fighters were powerless to move. The pure dark energy digs through the ground and erases anything on its way there. It was about to hit… but it found its match. Dende's barrier was still shining brightly, and once the Death Ball made contact, the barrier was powerful enough to completely bounce the attack back to where it came from.
Cold watched in horror as his death ball was returning at full speed from the giant hole. He had no chance or strength left to dodge; his own attack came to deliver the finishing blow on himself.
…
After the huge explosion of dark energy, Tien, Dina, Dee and Chiaotzu witnessed as Cold fell everywhere on the ground, reduced to pieces. His head still had one eye to look around. The battle was over. Once the four managed to regain some strength to stand, they called out a portal from Kibito and Chiaotzu used psychokinesis to pick all the pieces and throw them inside. Poor Cold died twice in the same way, but at least he doesn't have to do it a third time.
"Huh… that could've gone either way." Tien said. "I don't remember teaching you two the Kikoho."
"You think we've been sitting on our asses for three years, old man?" Dee replied.
"I think she means to say… it's good to see you again, dad." Dina said.
"Yeah whatever- sorry but I had my fill today." Dee said. She punched her sister in the elbow and that automatically made them become one again. They shared all the pain as well. "Ow!"
Soon enough they spotted a flying Nimbus in the sky, dark like the night. It was Korin and Yajirobe, coming in to heal them with Senzu Beans. Not too long after that, Boku and Yamcha also arrived. Now they needed to discuss what to do.
"Do you think we should help Krillin?" Tien asked.
"Nah, let's leave him be with that 18 chick. He hasn't talked to a girl in thirty years, that's the only opportunity he might get." Yamcha replied. "But… master Korin should probably go give him a fix."
…
…
…
Poor Krillin was having the worst day of his life. Not only was Gero fighting with max capacity, he could also eat all of Krillin's attacks as well. His hands absorbed any kind of technique that Krillin could muster, and he only got stronger from then on. If this keeps on, Super Gero will have enough power to defeat Goku in his Super Saiyan form. They tried everything, but in the end their bodies were left as empty husks without energy, just like Cell. Thankfully they couldn't die, but they were left unconscious. Gero was going to leave them behind and go look for 17 and 18… but he didn't have to search at all.
From the distance, a blinding light emanated from the forest. After 46 attempts, the twins managed to succeed at the fusion dance one last time. That was all it took. In a split second, they appeared in front of Gero. Long and smooth blond hair with a single black streak, and clothes that made them look like a genie. They explained who they were, but even so, Gero was not surprised.
"You two had your chance to beat me, but now it's gone. You are nothing but two failures. Putting two petulant children together will only make their idiocy even more apparent!" Gero said.
Android 35 spoke with a distorted voice of the two androids. "Maybe so, old fart. But we managed to learn from our mistakes. Now let's see if you have the same ability."
The two began to fight, surprisingly they were evenly matched at first. Android 35's strength was purely artificial; there was no energy that Gero could absorb from contact. All the while that they trade punches, they were discussing, "I created you! I gave you this power, and you still turn against me?! Can't you see the logic?! What is wrong with your brains?!"
"Ain't that precious? Every single one of your creations were smart enough to realize you are nothing but a piece of shit old man. You should be proud!" 35 replied.
35 was on a timer, but so was Super Gero. The more he fights, the more of his current power dwindles in the process; it's not his after all. He looked at his hands and saw that he was slowly turning back to his skinny old man form. He had to bet it all in one last attack. Suddenly he grabbed 35 and shot himself into space with them. "I don't remember removing your need for oxygen! HAHAHA!"
In the last second, 35 managed to make a huge green barrier surrounding them, and they continued to fight inside it. Gero was losing a considerable amount of power and was quickly being overwhelmed by the fusion. They managed to rip out his two arms and leave his metallic body deformed by their strikes. It looked like he was gonna die… but the fusion was fair and square. Ultimate power, just for thirty minutes. No more and no less.
Suddenly 17 and 18 split apart, and the barrier lost all its size instantly. 17 tried holding on but there was no more excess energy left in his reactor. The barrier came undone, and the two androids were left wandering in space. After a few seconds, asphyxiation had already knocked them both out; soon it would kill them. Gero watched their bodies float away; he was victorious. He already started planning a way to get his energy back; there were a bunch of powerful fighters on Earth currently. He begins unpacking a new pair of arms from his back compartment, then he has to sneak up on someone and proceed from there. But unfortunately… that wasn't his day. A figure flew past him; he could barely see it. That figure easily grabbed 17 and 18 under its arm and then looked back at Gero. It was Cell.
While the androids were fighting in space, Korin and Yajirobe approached the three unconscious fighters down there on the ground. They healed Roshi and Krillin, and soon they felt the battle happening out of their reach. Krillin quickly found Cell laying around and forced the Senzu Bean down his throat. Cell wakes up for the third time that day, instantly punching Krillin from how ready he was for a sneak attack this time. Krillin explained the situation and he did not waste time flying after the fight. Cell could survive in the vacuum quite like Frieza's race.
Upon seeing Cell, Gero quickly tried to order him to kill again, but… there's no sound in space. Cell instantly grabbed the old man by his mouth and dragged him back to Earth with 17 and 18. Gero lost both his arms and could no longer fight back. He slammed the old man at full speed against the Earth, leaving him on a gigantic crater. Lastly he tossed the twins to Krillin and Roshi. They could hear their Ultra Reactors running, so it was just a matter of waking them up.
Roshi used his Thundershock Surprise technique as a defibrillator, and that helped them regain consciousness. 18 immediately punched him, waking up as she felt someone groping her titty. They were alive, and now they stand up to face Cell. However, he didn't feel like fighting anymore. He grabbed Gero from the ground and put him on his back. "I can't believe I allowed myself to follow in your footsteps…" he said. After all, Cell was no child to Gero or hero to the universe; he was just another android made to kill. Finally he comes to accept that everything he did while alive was a pointless fight against people who didn't really deserve his hatred.
Krillin asked if he was going to help them fight Beerus still, but Cell gave up on the idea. "Gohan surpassed me once, and I believe he can do it again. You won't need my help. If by any chance you see Goku and the others again… tell them I apologize. Farewell."
Cell called out a portal from hell, and so it appeared. Without hesitation he jumped inside. Gero was still mumbling curses incoherently; having his brain turned to mush. Once he realized he was going back, he began to scream. And so the portal closed.
"Holy shit… we won." 17 said.
"For now… but the final battle is still ahead of us." Roshi said.
"Sorry guys but we're out of Senzu Beans already. You two rest here while we-"
Suddenly 18 picked up Krillin by the scruff of his gi and lifted him up to her level. She was smiling, and before Krillin could react, she gave him a little smooch on the cheek. "You're really gutsy for someone your size," she said.
"Oh, Uh- W-well, Uh- I train a lot!" Krillin replied.
"You better get going." 18 said, putting him down.
"YES MA'AM!" Krillin said, blasting off into the sky.
"… Can I get one too?" asked Roshi. 18 just kicked him in Krillin's direction. Now that the twins were left alone they realized how broken they actually are. They just had to sit around and rest for a bit. They can't bear the thought of not being there to see Gohan eventually beat the crap out of that purple cat.
"… so you got a thing for short guys now?" 17 asked.

Contest of pure strength between the two Super Saiyans has been going for far too long; it was time to end it. In that meantime, Goku questioned why Yamoshi ended up in hell. He wasn't a bad guy, Goku could tell that much. And his answer… apparently Yamoshi wanted to go to hell on his own volition.
Their final clash came to one last decisive punch. They took some distance, and after a few seconds of gathering all their strength, the two dashed towards each other. But mere seconds before they clashed, Goku released a Super Kamehameha wave from his feet, and he gained an uncontrollable amount of speed. Yamoshi couldn't see it coming; it was too fast. Goku raised his fist, and so he managed to make his way through Yamoshi's midriff. The Super Saiyan was split in two by that full-body tackle, and he fell to the floor. The winner was decided.
After that, Goku and Yamoshi turned off their Super Saiyan powers, as Goku slowly made his way back to his opponent. "It was a great fight," he said, helping Yamoshi by sticking his two parts together.
"Son Goku… I'm glad to know that this power helped you protect the ones close to you. I hope that this cycle of torment ends with us, and that after this day… this power will never be needed again." Yamoshi said. He accepted his defeat, but there was one last thing he wanted to do. "Before I return to hell… there's someone I want to take with me."
Goku smiled. "Fine, I understand. Go ahead."
"I hope we can meet again… maybe as different beings." Yamoshi said, before blasting off. Gohan, Goten and Chi-chi quickly came to Goku's side. He didn't mind letting Yamoshi go; he only has 24 hours anyway, so let him use it well. Gohan gave him his arm back, and Goku quickly attached it back in place.
"What do we do now?" Goten asked.
"I don't know how, but Videl awakened that ultimate power again. Still, I feel like it's not enough. I'm gonna go make sure she wins. Dad, you're coming with me?" Gohan asked.
"Sorry, but there's one last place I need to be at. Once I'm done, I'll help you guys with Beerus. Goten, take your mother back to Capsule Corp. Nobody dies until then, deal?" Goku said.
They all exchange a final smile before they part ways, blasting off into the sky. Goku wasn't sure if he was truly needed, but even so this was something that he really felt like watching.

Piccolo ended up having the easiest fight of them all, despite fighting the enemy who had the most advantage against him. Slug managed to get him once but he wised up, after that it was a continuous stalemate. Slug had few chances to fight off Piccolo, abusing the many techniques he stole from hundreds of warriors in the past. In the end Slug had one final desperate move to pull off. A technique from the dark arts of the Namekian race. He took a stance as energy started to ruin through his veins. It looked like a huge amount of effort, but its effects are undeniable. Slug turned into a giant, reaching far above the clouds.
Though he looked absurdly certain of his victory now, Piccolo didn't seem impressed. "This is supposed to be your big trump card? I learned how to do this when I was three years old. Let me show you!"
Piccolo began screaming as he unleashed the same technique. His body began growing bigger and bigger, making Slug lose his smile the more he approached. Piccolo managed to increase his size to the same level as Slug, and again they stood face to face. Once upon a time Piccolo could only grow to be 30 feet tall, but it seems like his current power allowed him to go even beyond; now the two stand at 30.000 feet. They were so big that you could see them moving and wrestling each other from space. And surely, a certain crew did.
"Oh brother… You guys wanna go check?"
"Absolutely not, woman, are you crazy? Let's land and we'll decide from there."
Piccolo and Slug continued to tussle; their punches had quite the impact, but they were considerably slower as a result of their immense size. The forest underneath was being stomped out by their giant feet; and each step made the planet tremor. They kept firing eye lasers into each other when they ran out of fists to throw. It didn't take long for Piccolo to start playing a little dirty. He spotted Korin tower nearby, so he grabbed it, pulled it from the ground and used it to hit Slug in the head like a baseball bat. The tower broke in half but it managed to hit Slug really good. Next Piccolo extended his arm to the above, grabbed the lookout temple, and used it to smash Slug in the head again. Nobody knows why he needed to do that, but Piccolo was having a lot of fun. Slug was left stunned after those two strikes, so Piccolo did one final move. He went behind Slug, grabbed his chest from behind and executed a perfect suplex throw. Slug hit his head deep into the Earth, and that shook his brain. The impact left a gigantic crater on the planet, but by then Earth already looked like an absolute mess from afar anyway.
That blow temporarily knocked out Slug, and so he slowly returned to his normal size. Piccolo did the same, and soon the two found themselves on the ground again. Looking around now, they sure made a mess. Piccolo waited for Slug to regain consciousness, still not satisfied with the fight. "Since you weren't capable of beating Dende I feared that you would be a waste of my time. Unfortunately I was right."
"BE QUIET! For three hundred years I waited for a chance to escape the other world. I'M NOT ALLOWING YOU TO STOP ME!" Slug shouted.
"Maybe if you worked on your own strength instead of stealing it from others you could've had a better chance. You're so pathetic that you can't even realize that." Piccolo said.
"YOU…! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS-"
"Excuse me."
Suddenly, Piccolo and Slug turned their heads to see someone else arriving in their battle. It was Yamoshi, still beaten up and still missing one arm. Piccolo recognized him, but surprisingly Slug did too. "It's you… you worthless monkey, disgusting little…!"
"So you two know each other?" Piccolo asked.
"Know each other?! THIS IDIOT WAS THE ONE WHO KILLED ME HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO!" Slug uttered in rage.
"Huh… strange to think that the rivalry between the strongest Namekian and the Super Saiyan goes way back." Piccolo said, crossing his arms. "So what do you want, Yamoshi?"
"Isn't it obvious? How about you leave us be and go fight the god of destruction?" Yamoshi said.
"Hmph… sounds good to me." Piccolo said, using a clothes beam to fix his gi. He instantly blasted off into the sky, not even caring to finish his battle with Slug. That guy is pathetic. Now the two strongest warriors of hell stare at each other in this desolate land that was once Korin forest. Slug was scared for his life, but Yamoshi was smiling.
"Remember what you said to me and my daughter? You said that your dragon balls had the power to bring back my wife and her older brother from the dead…" Yamoshi said, as his smile slowly disappeared. He clenched his fist so hard that it distorted reality. "BUT YOU LIED!"
Yamoshi instantly turned into the Super Saiyan, the golden form of pure rage that killed Slug in the past. He rushed his enemy, even with one arm Yamoshi was still kicking his ass. Thankfully their spirit bodies couldn't bleed, or else this would've been a very ugly brawl. It ended the same way it did centuries ago; Yamoshi grabbed Slug by the neck and started pushing him into space. He was building so much rage and energy inside that he was about to blow. Just as the two arrived at the stars, Yamoshi made the ultimate sacrifice and blew himself up along Slug. The light was blinding, and it reached the far corners of the universe for just a moment.
Both their bodies were completely destroyed by that explosion. Their halos fade away to the other world, where their bodies will be reformed again. At his last moments, Yamoshi finally felt like he could move from his eternal damnation that he inflicted on himself.

The battle between Frieza and the Saiyan army was like a nightmare. The two sides were fighting something they deeply feared. Even so, they continued, since this might be the last chance they'll get to have revenge. Frieza couldn't kill them, but he later realized that vaporizing their whole bodies stopped them from putting themselves back. Of course that wasn't easy to do; it would take a lot of energy to destroy all of them individually… so he decided to blow all of them at once. He took some distance and prepared to launch one of his two moves; the death ball. But the Saiyans weren't pissing themselves at that sight; they fought back this time. It all began when Bardock suddenly jumped ahead and unleashed his own blast to stop the attack. Soon Vegeta joined; him and then everyone else. The great apes fired mouth blasts at the Death Ball to help. Hundreds of beams of light united to fight against Frieza's full power… and somehow they were winning. The death ball was being pushed back no matter how much strength Frieza put into it. "I… I am… Lord Frieza… The strongest in the universe… YOU MONKEYS WILL NOT BEAT ME!" he shouted. But his worthless prattle didn't help him. Frieza's muscles began bulging out. His attack will soon strike him back. Frieza's eyes were bloodshot as he started screaming.
But the surprise of even the wisest of gods, someone actually saved Frieza.
Ultimate Cooler, just his upper half, suddenly appeared and managed to swipe away the entire struggle with his hands, saving Frieza from defeat. His sudden arrival shocked everyone, though most people didn't recognize him in that form.
"Cooler, is that you?" Frieza said. "You petulant bastard, I don't remember allowing you to interfere in my victory!"
"Your victory? You were about to be defeated by an army of worthless monkeys, you absolute fatuous moron!" Cooler said, "I'll never understand how you can be so much of an idiot!"
"If I'm an idiot, you're a troglodyte! I mean, what even is this form you were wearing? Was it with a discount or something?! And oh my, where have your legs gone to, did you leave them behind somewhere?!"
"I'll let you know this is the ultimate form of our race, and I could use it to kill you at literally any moment I wished for the last thirty years, you mook!" Cooler replied, getting all up in his face.
"Don't make me laugh! If you still had a butt I would kick it!"
The two evil brothers continued to bicker endlessly like stupid children until Cooler revealed why he was there. The enemies left for them to defeat are many and Cooler couldn't do it on his own. Though it pains him to no end to say this, he needs to make an alliance with Frieza so they can win this game and be revived. Frieza laughed at the suggestion at first, since unlike Cooler he couldn't sense the energy of the people he will have to fight today. Cooler fought arguably the two weakest and he nearly lost. Frieza was his last option. He accepted it for now, but after this game is over they will be right back to their war and rivalry.
With Frieza and Cold united, the Saiyans didn't stand a chance. They were being obliterated; most of their forces were quickly lost, with their halos fading away to the other world. Vegeta and his army continued to fight with all they had, but this was just completely insane. The two strongest rulers of the universe stand against them now. How could they win?
…
…
…
"Looks like we arrived for showtime. I'm not going any closer, you guys jump out!" Cheelai said.
"All these energies… They give me a headache." Broly said.
"Broly, the fight didn't even start and you're already complaining, man up!" Raditz said.
"So those are the Saiyans, huh… Looks like I was wrong, Raditz is actually one of the pretty ones." Mamoto said, wagging her tail left and right.
"Would you shut your trap for once, woman?!" he replied
Granolah sighed and covered his face. "I truly didn't miss this…"
The back door of their ship opened, and the four immediately jumped out as Cheelai drove away from the battle. They instantly landed right in front of Cooler and Frieza, as the Saiyan army watched behind them. Cooler clenched his fist, "You…!"
"Cooler and Frieza… you two can't imagine my joy when I heard of the opportunity to send you two to hell a second time." Raditz said, and then he turned his head around with a coy smile, "Hey, Vegeta. How have you been?"
"Frieza… we need to run…" Cooler whispered, but it seemed like Raditz heard it.
"What's that Cooler, are you afraid? Well, if you're afraid of Broly here, you'll be lucky to know that he can't turn into the Super Saiyan again. I tried whatever I could but it didn't work, I don't know what's wrong with him." Raditz said.
"Then… What makes you think you can win?" Cooler said.
"You're mistaken if you think we sat on our ass for the last twelve years… I mean, Granolah did, but don't mind him. I promised he could take on your little brother on his own. You just have to worry about us!"
Raditz rushed ahead and engaged Cooler in a fist fight. To his surprise, Raditz actually managed to pose a threat this time; he didn't account for it, but he probably got way stronger after surviving their death battle on Eltron and training the past decade. He would have to play it smart, but there was also Mamoto there. By then Pybara had taught her all the crazy crap he knew, even Instant Transmission. Those two working together were more than enough to give Cooler a thorough beating, and he rarely found opportunity to fight back with just two arms at his disposal. While Frieza felt extremely confident to fight just some joe instead of a Saiyan, he soon understood how screwed he was. Granolah's eyes allowed him to see Frieza's movements in slow motion, and above all his death beams were so sharp that they literally sliced through Frieza's death beams. Granolah wrecked the hell out of Frieza, and he was smiling wide for one of the first times his crew ever saw.
Once the two brothers were allowed time to breathe, Cooler suggested that they run to space where the monkeys couldn't follow them, and Frieza instantly agreed. However, their attempt was thwarted by Broly, who remained at the back line to stop them from pulling out their tricks. He grabbed the two by the face and slammed them back to the ground.
From then on Frieza and Cooler had run out of options and energy. Every single person who was still in the battle got the chance to help beat them up. The screams of rage of the Saiyans muddied around their screams of despair. Soon that fear turned into rage again. Cooler unleashed an explosive wave around him. "ENNOOOOUGH!"
Cooler was pissed, bruised and struggling to breathe. He was seeing red from his outrage. There was no way that he would lose his chance of resurrection; he has done nothing but fight weaklings. He was surrounded, he was missing half his body… and there was something bugging his eye. The sunset… And with that sight came an idea. If there was a dumb barrier covering the core of the planet, then he would have to destroy it the hard way. That will get rid of all his enemies in one go. And so Cooler began gathering all his last strength into one final Death Ball that scared everyone away. It was growing and growing, until it took a red coloration and became incredibly bright. The Supernova.
Cooler tossed it at Broly, who was flying to the sky. He was able to dodge it easily since he saw it coming. They all thought he just missed like an idiot, and realized his actual plot too late. He was aiming the Supernova at the sun, and surely that would blow it all the hell up. Even if Earth survived the explosion, it would quickly be frozen to the core. "HAHAHA! YOU FOOLS, I WON!"
The army of Saiyans watched in shock as the ball of pure shining death was about to leave Earth and go into space. It seems like the Raditz crew underestimated Cooler's intelligence for the very last time.
…
Fortunately for them, they weren't the only fighters left on Earth.
Son Goku teleported in place to the exosphere, and watched as the Supernova fast approached. He turned into the Super Saiyan, fighting off the brightness coming towards him with his own. He extended his one hand forward, and with it he stopped the attack. It looked effortless to him; the ball was in his control. "That was close." Goku said, and so he used instant transmission to teleport back. Everyone one witnessed as Goku popped into existence in front of them, holding the huge Supernova over his head.
Cooler was shaking in fear, and Goku said, "I don't think we met before… bummer."
Goku proceeded to kick Cooler in the mouth, and he was sent flying into the sky. That strike was so strong that Cooler couldn't contain himself. When he opened his eyes again, he was in a land of gray dirt and dust; he ended up on the moon. He was given no time to think however, as Goku tossed the Supernova back at him. It was rapidly approaching above.
"OH GOD DAMN NOOOOOOOOOOO-"
…
…
It took a while for the bright explosion to end. Cooler was gone from this realm, and so was the moon. With him gone, now everyone turns their eyes to Frieza, who was stuttering ramblings the entire time. Goku undid his Super Saiyan and said. "I don't think you're coming back to life today, Frieza."
And so, the cowardly Frieza got on the ground and begged Goku to just let him be. He will never come back to Earth again and they will never see each other. He managed to "fool" Goku once and maybe he could do it again. However, he forgot that he was surrounded by the most ruthless people in the universe. Suddenly, King Vegeta puts the weakened Frieza in a rear naked choke. "Frieza… your cowardly plea is the sweetest music I've ever heard in my life… but I fear you won't get another chance" he said.
Suddenly all the powerful Saiyans grabbed Frieza by his arms and legs as they raised him to the air. He struggles and screams, "No! NO! I'M NOT DEAD! I NEVER DIED! THIS IS ALL A DREAM- ALL OF IT! YOU ARE ALL DEAD! HAHAHA! YOU ARE ALL DEAD!"
Eventually Goku calls out Kibito and suddenly a portal to hell appears. The Saiyans drag Frieza inside, kicking and screaming. Their revenge was given, and their sadistic smiles are justified. With nothing else left, the remaining Saiyans from hell that survived the fight began leaving through that portal as well; tapping Goku on the shoulder as they went. Eventually he came face to face with Vegeta again. "There you have it, Kakarot. For once I decided to make right on my word, so be grateful."
"Vegeta… I still don't like you, but… I believe you have it in you to become a better man. I wonder how you would've turned out if our situation was reversed. Maybe you could find joy in peace." Goku said.
"Hmph! Don't make me laugh, Kakarot. Goodbye, and you better hope to never see me again." Vegeta said, and so he turned his back and entered the portal of hell with a smile.
Before Bardock joined his fellow Saiyans, he happened upon Kakarot and Raditz again. Surely he was lucky to be the father of these two strong warriors. Goku said goodbye, but Raditz was silent. He simply walked up to Bardock, removing the red strap band from his bicep and giving it back to his father. "I guess this fulfills our promise, old man."
Bardock held it and chuckled to himself. He began entering the portal as he said his final words to his two sons. "Stay strong, you idiots."
…
…
"Is that a tear I see in your eye, Raditz?" Nappa said, suddenly appearing behind the two brothers. Raditz easily grabbed him by the face and tossed that annoying prick into the hell portal. Soon enough, the entire Saiyan army was right back where they belonged, and right back where they wanted to be. The land surrounding Goku was no longer a fiery mess of lava; there was a peaceful quiet on the ashen dirt underneath. Now Goku had time to check on his space buddies.
"I like your new beard," Goku said to Raditz.
"Huh… twelve years and still an idiot. Doesn't surprise me." Raditz said.
Cheelai was finally able to drive in and land her ship after all the fighting was done, and was excited to see Goku again. She had grown her hair out. "Goodness, Goku, it looks like you didn't age a day!"
"Unfortunately he still has the same thick skull," Mamoto said.
Broly went ahead, picked up Goku from the ground and gave him a hug that almost broke his spine. "Hey- Broly- Nice to see you too-!"
Once he managed to get down, he saw Granolah looking at him in surprise. "Hey, Granolah! At this point I thought you would look like an old geezer, but you're still rocking! I was hoping to use the Earth's dragon balls to regain your youth, but I didn't have the time-"
"Goku…." Granolah interrupted. "What's that on your head?"
Everyone looked up and finally noticed the halo. They were shocked. "Oh, that… Sorry you weren't invited for my funeral, but I sort of died ten years ago."
"But- who could've possibly killed you?!" Mamoto said.
"I had a little heart disease," he replied.
"But that's- but that's so pathetic, Kakarot!" Raditz said.
"Trust me, you wouldn't believe the kind of stuff my friends pulled to try and save me." Goku said, scratching the back of his head. "It backfired so badly that we ended up creating the ultimate life form that wanted to kill us, hahahah!"
"That's unfortunate, but… it doesn't matter. We came here to help. King Kai already told us everything that has been going on." Granolah said, grabbing Goku by the shoulders. "There are still hundreds of powerful enemies fighting the Galactic Patrol around Earth, but don't worry about them- leave it to us and we'll take care of it. Focus all your efforts in beating the god of destruction. You are our only hope."
Goku nodded. "Guys… Thank you. I promise, this will not be the last day of this universe." And so he flies away, going straight after the battle between Gohan and Videl against Beerus.
"Don't you dare make your older brother go wipe your ass, Kakarot! You better win!" Raditz shouted one last time. That might be the last word the two will ever have, but in all truth there's nothing better he would rather say. The battle ahead was carved by destiny. It decides everything. From the oldest to the newest generation will have to try their luck, and by the end, they hope one final champion shall emerge.
