DRAGON BALL HARDCORE

THE BEERUS SAGA, part 6

.

.

The Saiyan god Gohan slowly started walking towards Beerus, and soon he began running his mouth. "I truly cannot believe what kind of stuff you guys have to pull to survive. Looking at you, kid, I feel like I can finally let myself go for once-"

Suddenly Gohan appeared at super speed in front of Beerus. "I'm tired of your voice." he said. Suddenly he grabbed Beerus by the throat through sheer surprise. "Can you feel it? Can you feel how much my home has been destroyed by your game? All of this was in the name of birthing someone to kill you… Finally, you got exactly what you wanted."

Gohan delivered a punch to Beerus's face, sending him flying through the Earth. Certainly there was nothing in this universe that could hold back that kind of force and heat. Beerus was sent crashing through air, earth and finally water; all of it was like pure jello. He was only able to stop himself by using all 100% of his power, and even so it felt like he was a step behind. Gohan followed through to catch him. Beerus was about to shoot energy at him, but once again Gohan appeared and held his hand with a crushing grip. He said, "this planet has suffered enough."

He used his full strength to throw Beerus to the sky. This time he ended up in the vacuum of space. Gohan used Instant Transmission to teleport behind him and strike him once more. The weight of the void doesn't seem that crushing to Gohan anymore; just like a flimsy wind; and he didn't need to breathe. He smiled, since he finally crossed the last barrier that his body could handle. "You have no idea for how long I wanted to fight here. A place infinitely big, and yet devoid of consequences. I feel like this is the only place where I can fight to my heart's content." Gohan spoke through some weird telepathy that he pulled out of nowhere.

"The Saiyan God… It brings me such emotion to see you at last. Not even in my wildest dreams could I foresee the day where I would find the perfect battle. It almost brings a tear to my eye," Beerus said, shrugging off the damage he just received. "Son Gohan… you are the one. Let us make the next hours into the greatest moments of our lives!"

The ultimate and final battle for the universe began. Its traces could be felt all over the universe; two unimaginable essences fighting with everything they have. Even the normal people could feel it. As for the warriors of Earth, night had already rolled in that area. All they could see was the two lights; red and purple flying around the stars, going all over the solar system to accommodate their power. Gohan was still dominating the fight, even as Beerus fought to his fullest. He kicked him to mars, creating a gigantic crater on the planet that reached its core. He went ahead and grabbed the two moons of mars and chucked them at Beerus. He stood there watching as they went from tiny balls in the horizon to infinitely large landscapes that were about to crash down on him. Needless to say, Mars ended up blowing up after that attack. Absolute destruction followed the two everywhere they went, eventually reaching an asteroid field. The two were breaking apart anything that the universe had to offer against them. In the end they were right back where it started. Beerus's clothes were in the rags, and he was heavily winded. For the first time he actually looks hurt. It was clear that Gohan would end up winning, but still Beerus looked happy and unworried.

"That smile on your face… let me guess, you think you won?" Beerus said.

"Sometimes I just like seeing my enemies suffer." Gohan replied.

"Huh, I guess being foolish is in the blood. Tell me, Saiyan, what have you people been learning and preaching for the last fifty years? Let me remind you in case you forgot…

Limits… EXIST ONLY TO BE BROKEN!"

Beerus took a very menacing stance and began powering up. Gohan could feel something was wrong, but before he could act, Beerus shouted into the depths of space. "KAI!" And so the purple aura became blinding for a few moments. The battle was close to over… but to which side?

When Gohan could see again, Beerus had transcended past his full power. He had achieved 150% potential. He did not look frail or skinny anymore; he was bulky and with defined muscles. His eyes had become even sharper, looking down at Gohan. The Saiyan's smile had disappeared completely; it was back to dread. "Shall we begin anew?"

Beerus proceeded to completely humiliate Gohan. Once again, confronted by an unreal power and bitten by the karma of his arrogance. It was almost as if the ritual of the warrior god served no purpose. While beating Gohan to a bloody pulp, Beerus took him around the universe, in order to display their power to all beings of this realm. Gohan could do nothing as Beerus grabbed him by the throat and slammed him against every planet, every asteroid, every star on the way. Though he could feel overwhelming dread, Gohan forced himself to fight back. Eventually his punches were null. That display was disappointing to Beerus; an immeasurable disappointment. Gohan is so close; nearer to perfection than any other creature or humanoid; god, demon or mortal will ever hope to achieve. Beerus wanted him to become stronger and fight back just as much as Gohan himself. He thought and thought, and finally came the idea. The golden idea that was always there from the beginning.

Say… if this situation is already impossible to conceive, how could he make it even more rare? There might be a way, and Gohan has to let go of everything to find out.

Beerus dragged him back near planet Earth. The weakened Gohan freed himself from his grasp and backed away. His wounds were clear, all over his body; bleeding in several of them; eyes half dead. Beerus began saying, "Not too long ago you said something to me… That you fight only to protect your home… It's a great cause. It made me wonder, what would happen if you were to lose it?… What kind of warrior will you be?… In fact, I've seen it before.

…I wanna see it again."

Gohan began mumbling the word "no" over and over again as Beerus charged a gigantic energy ball over his head. Soon it was the same size as planet Earth, and without hesitation he tossed it towards the little planet, far off in the void. Gohan didn't waste time, he began charging a Kamehameha to fire that thing back, but he was given no chance. As soon as he was about to fire, Beerus suddenly appeared behind and put him on a choke hold. He dragged him off the ball's way and turned him around. Gohan was struggling to free himself when Beerus said, "Open your eyes kid, I don't want neither of us to miss out what happens next."

"That thing is coming our way, isn't it?" Videl asked.

"Yep…" Goten said.

"I'm afraid… my barrier won't be able to stop that… at all." Dende said.

"My powers are gone- I can do nothing…" said Kibito.

"We… We gave all our power to Gohan. I don't have anything else to repel it, I can't even teleport us out of here." Goku said. "We're… We're…"

"We're doomed." Piccolo said. "Even if we had our powers, it wouldn't make a difference. I know exactly what that bastard is trying to do… If it serves as any consolation, I believe that after this, we will be the only ones dying today."

The ball of pure, purple sparkling energy was growing bigger and bigger; soon its light enveloped the entire planet in purple. They had mere minutes now.

"It doesn't look like Gohan is coming to help. I fear… this is it." Tien said, shaking his fist. "I can't believe that… there's nothing we can do… AGAIN!"

"Maybe it was too optimistic to think we would survive all this crazy shit today. I mean, we did it a few times before, but… third time's a charm, you know." 17 said.

18 covered her face. "Of course I'm going to die the only time I don't want to…"

"Does anyone have any ideas?… I mean seriously, I'm accepting anything, I don't care how stupid it is- we got nothing else." Yamcha said.

"You know… in spite of that, this still might be my favorite birthday party still." Bulma said.

"Hey…" Boku said, walking over to Dina.

"If you say that 'you always loved me', I'm going to hit you!" she said.

"… Ew." Boku said, taking off the bag from his back. "In fact I have a better idea."

The seven dragon balls were still perfect in his care after the whole day. He opened his bag and let them roll around on the floor. Suddenly everyone turned to see; just now they began to glow yellow energy. At the absolute nick of time, their powers became active again. "Rutamomo is done with his nap. We have one last shot to survive." Boku said.

"But… I don't think Rutamomo is powerful enough to stop that thing! What can we possibly wish for to save Earth?" Dina asked.

"Well… nothing…" Boku replied.

Beerus forced Gohan to watch his home be destroyed. For once Beerus struggled to keep him in that choke; his desire was so intense that once again his power grew. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough…

Planet Earth collided with Beerus's attack head on. Gohan screamed, "NOO-" but before he was even finished, one second later the Earth completely collapsed and exploded in a million tiny red pieces. Everything Gohan ever knew disappeared in front of his eyes. At the same time, he felt his friends… his family… his future wife and daughter… leave this mortal realm with that single explosion. Nothing survived.

Beerus let go of Gohan as he stood there, idly and silent; face in emotionless shock. The god of destruction put his hand on his shoulder and said, "It's tragic, isn't it? When life ends, all their history, their dreams and their future goes with it. They can only come back as nothing but faded memories of what used to be. That's all you have of them…

But for us gods are different. We wield the power to destroy, and to create anything. If the supreme Kai wishes so, he can make another Earth, with an entire new brand of people… How cheap is that? This cycle of creating good and destroying evil eternally, all it does is make human life worthless. Just like cattle. Why would they grow or struggle when there are gods doing all the work for them?

I've been a god of destruction for 30 million years, and in that time I've seen a great deal. The things we created disgusted me; a fake universe built by charitable gods and populated by life without meaning. If mortals were to grow, they needed an enemy… the greatest enemy.

And so I established the judgment day every five million years to decide the fate of the universe. It worked perfectly as I expected. My antagonism pushed mortals and even my fellow gods to work hard and achieve a greater goal. Each universe from then on was greater than the last, getting ever closer to beating me. This is the third time I do this… and now I feel like you mortals are ready. At long last you have transcended the gods. You wield the power necessary to make a better universe, all by yourselves. If anything… you should thank me." Beerus finished.

"Thank you…?" Gohan replied. "Maybe I should… after all, you helped me realize something. My whole life, my dreams, they were all a farce… I was diluting myself with peace, when in fact… all I ever knew was pain and violence. Battle and death, doesn't matter when or where, past or future. All the impossible things that happened in order to ensure my birth, my growth, my survival; the cycle of torment. All of it was made in preparation for this moment…

You are right Beerus… I'm not a warrior that protects anything. All I do is let people die, over and over… This rage inside of me, it was always there, and it tells me what I really am…

A god of violence."

His eyes were pure white as he turned around, small tears easily being shrugged off. The smile on his face was devilish. Beerus could see reality cracking around him like glass. A pure heart, not corrupted by simple murderous anger, but evil itself. One of the goodest souls in this universe, but also ultimate hatred. Good and evil; light and darkness combined into one body. The powers given by a god, and the prophecy made by demons. It gave rise to the ultimate, most powerful being. Gohan didn't scream this time; he had no pain as he accepted this power with all his heart.

What happened in front of Beerus was no simple explosion, it wasn't a supernova, but rather a gamma-ray burst; to put it in words. The force was enough to send Beerus flying billions of light years away. He was able to stop himself and watch the untold explosion of yellow color, devastating the rest of that solar system along with its sun. After that he saw a vision of greatness. Gohan's new form was golden like the super Saiyan, covering his furry arms, tail and hair completely; eyes still white. He had lost all humanity, and ultimately gained the ultimate reward. The Super Saiyan God.

Beerus could see him calmly walking towards him, but that still was at a speed too fast for him to react. Gohan surpassed his 150%, perhaps even more than that. The two exchanged no words as they began to fight again. As the two powered up to the absolute maximum, their light was visible from all over the universe. Their speed was so great that they could fight everywhere at the same time; traveling billions of light years in mere seconds. Gohan was so crazed that Beerus himself had to stop him from destroying other planets with innocent people. Beerus was forced to go even further beyond, to 175% potential, and eventually 200%. It still didn't make a damn difference; Gohan was still destroying him in that fight.

The collision of their fists ended up being so powerful that they broke through the barriers that separate the dimensions. During a barrage of punches, Gohan and Beerus smashed through the glass of reality and ended up in another realm. The sky was black with red clouds and an evil eye as the only light source up above. Disheveled lands of bizarre creatures of pure evil stood below. They ended up arriving in the demon realm. The two were still too pissed off and continued to fight, and as they did, all the Majins down below were being destroyed and vaporized in their struggle. Some attempted to jump in to interrupt the fight but they were slaughtered as well without getting close. This place already looks like hell, so what better place to fight to the death?

The red dragon had been summoned, and it demanded a wish. Boku asked the dragon that he send planet Earth to somewhere far away to dodge this attack, but he was unable to do it, as Whis was ordered to prevent this from happening. Whis was actually really strong as well so there was nothing they could do against it; he just fought them all off for a few seconds as if it was nothing.

Boku didn't run out of ideas, and said his plan B. "Then Rutamomo, I wish that you send all of the galactic patrol officers and other people that came to help us to some planet far away, together."

Rutamomo granted the wish. Instantly, everyone who was wearing a purple spandex, as well as the Raditz crew were sent back to planet Kanassa with all the other Earthlings. "Damn it, this crap again!" said Raditz. Thankfully it seems like all the few remaining warriors from hell were left behind to die.

Back on Earth, Dina asked, "Why didn't you send us along?"

"We have to go somewhere else. Sorry you weren't there to see it, but Gohan will go nuts if he believes we died. It might be enough to defeat Beerus once and for all. Kibito, I need you to send us to your planet in the other world with your wish." Boku finished.

Kibito did as he was told, but before the wish was granted, Dende interrupted. "Rutamomo, what will happen to you when we're gone?"

"I will remain where I am summoned. If my eyes don't betray me, shortly the god of destruction will eradicate this planet along with me. Unfortunately I won't be here to restore your planet as I always did. That will be up to you.

As the last eternal dragon of all time, I bid you all my last farewell. I hope good fortune and many adventures continue to delight you in the future." Rutamomo finished. His eyes started to glow, and finally the last wish was granted. The entire dragon team was sent to the world of the Supreme Kai, with all its blue mountains, violet sky and green pastures. The dragon remained where he stood, unbothered by the incoming death. He was able to fulfill his purpose one last time.

The dragon team could barely keep up with the fight happening in the demon realm, as every crystal ball available would end up shattering. You can't imagine the pain of some to not be able to watch the greatest fight in universal history.

After a few hours, the two gods of destruction and violence stand on top of a destroyed land, quickly being consumed by a black hole. It might sound crazy, but during their battle, Beerus and Gohan ended up destroying all of the demon realm and killing literally every single Majin in the process. Their battle gets so nettled that they end up being consumed by a black hole, but that didn't seem to hurt or damage them at all. Inside there was a place beyond time and space; completely unrecognizable and unexplainable. It was the perfect place to finish this battle with one last explosion.

The two charged their blasts, and the energies clashed in this spectacular display of infinite light. The point between their struggle was so indefinitely powerful that it could wipe out the entire universe if it blew up; all planets and dimensions would be erased instantly. One screamed in unbridled rage while the other laughed in happiness. "HAHAHA! THIS IS THE GREATEST FIGHT OF MY LIFE!"

The two kept getting closer and closer as the struggle grew bigger; they were but a few steps away from each other now. Their energy was escaping from the sides and flying off into the quantum realm. "500%! ALL OF MY EXISTENCE IS IN THIS ATTACK, GOHAN! I DARE YOU TO DEFEAT ME NOW!"

Gohan kept pushing forward until his hand touched Beerus. Between their clash appeared a small hole of endless possibility; a break through all and every possible reality. Sparkling black lighting was seeping through it and involving their arms, burning through their flesh in the process. Beerus was feeling extreme pain and so did Gohan, but what ultimately decided the victory was that moment. While Beerus recoiled from the pain, Gohan pushed forward, sacrificing his arm. That one second brought the opportunity for a final strike.

With his free hand, Gohan plunged his fist through Beerus's chest.

Their forces were left unbalanced, and finally their collision created an explosion. The purple light was consumed by the golden one. The fight that stood past life and death, dimensions, reality, time and space has finally arrived at its conclusion. The winner was clear… but at this point, expecting any of them to survive is out of the question.

"What happened to papa then?"

"I don't really know how the fight ended, but I was there to see the aftermath."

The warriors of Earth stood together in a circle as the battle concluded. There was a shocking silence throughout the universe; everyone held their breath and waited for the conclusion. It soon came once Kibito felt his godhood returning to him; he regained his older appearance and could put his earrings back. All the other warriors' power returned as well. That could only mean one thing. Whis stopped drinking his tea and looked up. There it was, in the sky.

Beerus was carrying Gohan in his arms, having a hole through his chest while the boy missed his arm. Despite that he's still able to bring both back to the safety of the other world. Or at least, he was able to bring back his body. Gohan was dead, back to his normal form, and Beerus was a close second. He slowly and gently put the warrior on the ground, as he thanked him for the fight one last time.

It didn't take long before his friends and family surrounded his corpse. Videl grabbed him by the shoulders and began shaking him awake but it wasn't working; he was gone. For the second time she began to cry as she hugged him; slowly feeling his body temperature go down. After a long and painful silence, she looked back at Beerus.

"And what are you doing here?!" she shouted, "WHY DON'T YOU GO AWAY! YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED, NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"

"Indeed, lord Beerus, shouldn't we resume judgment day?" Whis asked.

"Not at all, Whis… I lost. The boy managed to surpass me even at my utmost limit. For the first time in 15 million years, the mortals have won. You guys did it, I accept my total defeat…

I don't have much longer in me, but there is one last thing I want to do before I'm gone. I wish to make good in my word." Beerus said. "'If you win, all the warriors will have their souls resurrected by me.' That was the agreement.

It's time to give away the prize."

Beerus sat in a meditation pose and focused. What he was about to give away is the only thing he truly has left now. His purpose, along with everything else, was concluded. This final gift is the last thing he can do, giving away his life and godhood in the process.

The deceased Z-warriors felt something strange happening to their bodies; they felt as if being filled up with water. They looked up and saw their halos being eaten away by a purple energy, eventually fading. Once it was done, they could feel it in their flesh.

They were alive.

Videl looked down, and it seemed to have worked on Gohan as well. She felt the energy slowly return to his body, and soon after… he opened his eyes. He woke up to see his greatest dream come true. All of his friends, all reunited and together; dead and alive. It was a quiet but powerful celebration. He got up from the ground as Videl continued to hug him. "Look, big guy… you saved us all… and you just lost one arm in the process. You really are the best…"

They all regained their focus once Beerus started laughing.

"Look at all those pretty faces! This might be the first time I decided to do something nice in a long while!" he said. "You people gave me everything I ever wanted and more. It was a very nice day. I hope you enjoy the rest of your lives – you earned it!"

"Lord Beerus… you used your godhood to revive them. Are you aware of what will happen now?" Whis asked.

"Of course I'm aware. It's only natural that the one who loses is the one who dies, isn't it? Well, anyway… Whis, I know it was very troublesome for you to work with me, I apologize. I hope that one day you can find a substitute who is worthier than me. It shouldn't be too hard." Beerus replied. Just then, his body slowly started to become transparent. He broke the universal rules, and for that he will disappear just like any other god. He didn't seem bothered though; still smiling as he looked back at the warriors one last time.

"It was really nice hearing your story… and fighting you guys was even better. Sadly I won't be here to see them anymore. So promise me that you'll keep getting better, okay?" Beerus said. "Goodbye."

Beerus began vanishing in smoke; soon he was completely gone. Whis looked on as he disappeared, remaining in silence to mourn his millennium long friend and partner. "You warriors made his dream come true… Maybe one day I can repay you for that. Farewell." Whis said, blasting off into somewhere else of the other world.

The dragon team; their long-lost friends and family were back together at last; this time for good. But unfortunately, one thing was still fact. Gohan can barely remember a thing that happened since the ritual, but they confirm that he indeed destroyed their entire solar system in the fight against Beerus. Though they are all alive, their home was destroyed.

Kibito stood up and said, "Forgive me. I cannot bring Earth exactly how it was… but I can at least give you all a new home, as thanks for saving the universe."

He took them to a temple within the planet, with a table in which he could see the entire universe down to perfection. From there they watched for a few hours as Kibito used his full power to create a sun, soon the small planet, and its moon. It replaced the old solar system, with life slowly taking over the planet with its blue and green. It was mostly empty, with all the cities and other bizarre places gone, but he can't help them further than that. New Earth was a planet of opportunity, waiting to be explored. The Earthlings will have to work hard in order to build the world as it once was.

"The kind of damage created by the battle is near endless. It will take centuries until I fix everything by myself. It is unfortunate, but this might be the last time we see each other in your lifetimes." Kibito said. "Maybe it is a good thing… that you won't need my help for anything after today. Perhaps peace has finally arrived to you. But just in case… I'll keep my eyes open, when in need of powerful warriors."

Everyone says their thanks and goodbyes before Kibito uses Kai-kai to send them all to their new planet. He pulled up his sleeves to start working right away.

The dragon team appeared on top of a huge mountain cliff, looking on to an uncharted planet that seemed just like the Earth they knew, except all the magic and civilization built for the last 700 years was gone for now. They got just in time to witness two things; the first sunrise of New Earth, and also the conclusion of Dende's wish. The day had passed, and so all Earthlings were taken from planet Kanassa and put back here. Unfortunately they have nothing to claim back, but they rest easy knowing that the battle for the planet is won. And to those warriors, who sacrificed so much to win; whoever they are, everyone wishes that they are well.

Master Roshi, Krillin, 17, 18, Kashi, Buu, Mr. Satan, Korin, Yajirobe, Popo, Dende, Piccolo, Yamcha, Bulma, Puar, Oolong, Tights, Boku, Dina, Tien, Launch, Goten, Chi-chi, Goku, Videl… and Gohan. Though these warriors are strong, none of them would be here if not for one another. So many stories happened on the way here… it was time to start a new one.

The humans managed to settle somewhat into their new world, making improvised villages and standing together in order to survive. They didn't have to start from absolute scratch however. Days after the battle was ended, the Galactic Patrol returned to Earth with a great amount of materials, tools and technology to help New Earth go back to its usual civilization. It took roughly two years, with the collective help of thousands of alien races, to ultimately rebuild to the same level it once was. Some people still preferred the small village life, so the balance of society and nature was never lost. Even after all this, the Galactic Patrol still insisted their debt on Son Goku, and gave a tool to the King of Earth, Oolong, to contact them at any time.

Capsule Corp had to start from the bottom again, back to a small family house, building inventions in their garage with scraps and no money. The simple life was a nice change of pace for Boku and Bulma, now back with Yamcha as if nothing had changed. After all that, Yamcha retired as a martial artist, and gave much of his time helping rebuild the world. Meanwhile, Boku continued studying as he promised to rebuild Capsule Corp as a universally-renowned tech enterprise as it once was, all before he turned eighteen. Big ambitions that, all things considered, don't seem so impossible to him at all.

With kame house gone, Tien and his family had to start again somewhere else. It wasn't hard since they lived in modesty to begin with. Though, with time, more and more people came from far away in order to meet them; drawn by the desire for power, and to one day protect their planet in the coolest way imaginable. For that and many reasons, Dina decided to open a dojo, teaching both Crane and Turtle style to any who came by. She had many students from many different planets, but most of them would give up due to the training being insane, while also not being able to stand being schooled by an 11 year old girl and her mood swings.

The Son family was also back, finding a really pretty mountain to live in, with plenty of space left for the farm. Goku "retired" as a fighter, and spent his next year working with Chi-chi in an attempt to rebuild the time they lost, but also make sure that Goten didn't have a miserable childhood like Gohan had. That is the best way Goku could enjoy his new life, as a peaceful farmer who achieved all his dreams. He and his son sparred constantly since Goten still desired to grow stronger and surpass Goku one day. He hopes his heart problems don't kick in when that boy starts swinging.

Krillin helped his master build his kame house somewhere else now; this time Roshi wanted to be a jungle hermit instead of an island hermit for the next hundred years. By pure chance (or none at all) he happened upon android 18. The two hit off fairly easy; surely no one expected those two to end up together. Krillin knew the right way to make her feel special, and soon enough she wasn't depressed anymore. Once Krillin got a new house and a job as a police officer, one thing led to another, and suddenly the noseless baldy was married to the strongest bombshell of a woman in this universe (pun intended). Good karma finally found Krillin after all these years.

And as for her brother, 17 and Kashi found a whole new world to explore; populated by new species and with so many new things to discover. At this point she wanted to go into space and see everything there as well. 17 figured that the only way to keep his wife still for a moment without dying was to get her pregnant, so he focused on that for a few weeks until it worked.

Dende was done with all his seclusion and sky temples. He found a spare small continent left on the planet and made that his home. He envisioned how one day, this new land will be populated by many Namekians like him. He doesn't plan on creating any more dragon balls after this day. Why would they need them, when they already have so many wonderful people helping each other achieve their dreams and wishes? Babidi thought all this crap was boring, so once Dende made him a pedestal, he was put there and allowed to sleep in peace.

Sadly, as it happens, with the lookout temple gone for too long, Popo lost his tendril to reality. He said his goodbyes to Dende, and eventually his body faded away, leaving behind a purple stone with his face in it. Finally, Popo can have some time off. Maybe one day he can be back, if only Dende figures what he even was all along.

Korin and Yajirobe had also lost their homes. Yajirobe was ready to start rebuilding Korin tower for them, but Korin had other plans. After that fight, the demon realm was left in shambles. With all the evil demons gone, Korin felt that it was his duty to come back and help shape his home dimension into a better place without endless malice. He was a Neko Majin after all. Before he left the mortal realm for the foreseeable future, he gave his one disciple the last Senzu Bean he kept hidden in his ear. He taught Yajirobe all there is to know about them, and begs that he continues to grow them and aid anyone who has enough guts to climb his tower. With that, the great Korin made a Korin shaped portal, and jumped in.

Buu helped a lot of people in New Earth, but he soon grew ambitious with his goal to become a great hero, and left the planet in order to help people in outer space. He would eventually get bored of searching for planets in the empty void, and would always come back to sleep. It's hard to believe, but Buu was finally growing up; he was becoming a little smarter and letting go of his most childish ways. Who knows, maybe one day he might start dressing normally.

As it was foretold by Chi-chi, Gohan and Videl got married not too long after judgment day. It was a lively party, populated by the strongest warriors in all existence, even from outer space, different dimensions as well as some gods, plus Mr. Satan, who was crying all the time. To everyone's surprise, even Piccolo showed up in a tux. That day, Gohan threw the towel just like everyone else. With everyone back to life and his arm gone, he felt like his training days were over. From then on it seemed like Videl was fine with that. After that day, what more could she want from him?

And would you look at that; not more than seven months later, the two already had a precious little baby daughter.

"Wait, that's me!" Pan said.

"Yes it was, Pan. And that was the story of how your father became the strongest person in the universe… for two hours. Now he can't even take a single hit from me. How tragic." Piccolo finished.

"Wow… that was a cool story, Mr. Piccolo! But… are you going to train me or not?"

"…Are you sure your parents don't know you are here?" Piccolo asked.

"Yeah, I'm good at sneaking!" she replied.

"Good. I think they might like the little surprise." Piccolo said, standing up. "I told you this story to give you some perspective. Your father achieved the highest limit that we ever saw before… Are you sure you still want to surpass him? I can tell your potential is not as good as his, so it might take a lot more work to get on his level… Are you ready?"

"READY!" Pan shouted.

Piccolo smiled. "Alright. Let's learn flying first of all. Come."

"Yaaaaay!"

Pan happily skipped behind him as the two disappeared at great speed. Even now, the new generation still seeks a future even greater. What will this world come to? Maybe we already know. After all, this is but one of endless possibilities. Stories to last decades of entertainment. And maybe… maybe we can learn a thing or two.

Dragon Ball Hardcore, Volume 2: The Raditz, Buu and Beerus Saga… the end.
