Chapter 13

My power

It was another normal day at the UA. In one of the city training fields class 1-B was training how to keep civilians safe during a major villain attack. Currently two giant robots were fighting as they were wrecking the city. Smaller robots were also in the city that were acting as civilians. Class 1-B had to keep the robots safe.

Running down a street was Kendo. (I won't be describing what class 1-B looks like)

Kendo was glad they weren't being graded this time as everything was a mess. When the fight began everyone rushed off on their own and it was hard to keep track of everyone.

'I wonder how many bots have been destroyed?' Wondered Kendo as she wondered if this is how Geed felt when he fought.

That was when Kendo saw a large chuck of cement heading towards a bot. Knowing she couldn't reach it in time she threw a punch at the cement. But what happened next shocked her. From her fist came an energy shot shaped like her fist.

The shot hit the cement destroying it, as Kendo looked down at her hand in shock.

"Kendo what was that?" Asked Setsuna as she and Juzo saw the whole thing.

"I'm not sure." Answered Kendo honestly, but she had an idea.

"I think it could be a little star." Said Juzo as everything fit.

They all remembered the warning their principal Nezu gave them about little stars. How they gain power but become a target for those who want that power.

"How did they say you can get rid of it again?" Juzo asked himself out loud as it was a lot to take in at the time.

"By giving it to an Ultraman." Answered Kendo.

"But are we sure this is true?" Asked Monoma as he walked over.

"What are you talking about Monoma?" Asked Setsuna with a sigh. As his attitude was annoying.

"We have no idea that the little star will attract trouble. For all we know it's a lie for Geed to gain power." Stated Monoma as the three of them gave Monoma blank stares.

"Are you serious?" Asked Juzo with a blank stare.

"What are you talking about?" Asked Monoma honestly confused.

"You do know when Geed gains more power it keeps us safe." Said Setsuna as he needed that power.

"But he's part of class 1-A!" Declared Monoma making the three sigh.

"What is you beef with that class?" Asked both Juzo and Setsuna as he would never shut up about them.

"They think of them as superior to us!" Declared Monoma.

"That's you." All three of them said at the same time making Monoma fall over.

"Ok listen to this then." Started Monoma.

"We have no evidence that little stars attract trouble. I'm not saying we doubt our principal. But what if he's wrong? What if nothing bad happens?" Argued Monoma soundly.

"He makes a good point." Said Juzo as false information was dangerous.

"And Kendo are you saying you don't want this power-up?" Monoma asked Kendo as Kendo looked at her hands.

"But what if your wrong?" Asked Setsuna because if they're wrong a lot of lives could be put in danger.

"Then let's wait and see. We play it day by day?" Suggested Monoma as he saw he was getting through to them.

"I guess day by day won't hurt us." Admitted Juzo as it wouldn't hurt to see what would happen.

"And I guess more options won't hurt." Admitted Kendo as she wasn't sure about all this.

Later that day with class 1-A they were with Midnight as she was going over when Quirks first appeared which led to heroes.

But as she taught the class Izuku thought he saw something.

'It couldn't be.' Thought Izuku as he thought he saw a little star. That was when he rubbed his eyes and gasp as he did.

"I don't believe it." Said Izuku out loud.

"I know it's hard to believe Izuku, but that did happen." Midnight told him unaware he meant something else.

"No not that mam. I see a little star!" Said Izuku as he was 100% now.

Hearing that made the class worry, the last time they dealt with a little star a monster nearly torn off Izuku's arm.

"Does that mean another monster could be on it's way?" Asked Momo worried, while trying to act professional.

"Maybe." Answered Izuku as there was many ways for one to show up.

"What can we do then?" Asked Ida.

"First, we find out who has the star. Then they have to give it up." Said Izuku as he looked at Midnight who nodded.

"For the rest of class please read the chapter we were discussing." Instructed Midnight as she and Izuku left the class to find the star.

But they didn't have to travel far as they reached class 1-B homeroom.

"Are you sure?" Asked Midnight as she was suspecting the general or support courses, not the hero course.

"Yes. I can see it in there." Said Izuku a little surprised himself.

"Ok then." Said Midnight as she opened the door.

Inside she saw President Mic teaching as he stopped and looked at her funny.

"Midnight? What are you doing here?" Asked Mic confused wondering what was wrong.

"We might have a situation." Started Midnight as she and Izuku walked in.

When some the students in the room saw Izuku, they worried.

"We have a little star here." Finished Midnight as Izuku was looking right at Kendo.

"You have the little star." Declared Izuku shocking everyone, but four of them.

"You have no proof!" Declared Monoma as he stood up.

"I can see it clearly like the other stars I've seen." Said Izuku as Monoma wasn't even done.

"And even if she does have one. How do we even know if monsters will come for her?" Questioned Monoma as most of his classmates hung their head down wishing he would stop.

"Every time I've dealt with a little star a monster has shown up." Started Izuku as he then looked at Kendo.

"Does he speak for you?" Asked Izuku curious.

"He doesn't. But can I ask you something?" Asked Kendo.

"Go ahead." Said Izuku wondering what she wanted to know.

"Can I keep this power?" Asked Kendo honestly.

"Are you…" Started Izuku only to be cut off.

"You heard her." Said Monoma with a cocky grin on his face.

Izuku the tried to speak, but every time Monoma would try to speak over him.

"Enough!" Said Mic annoyed by this.

"I don't know why you think we're lying about this, but we have reports of beings going after people with little stars, with Geed getting involved." Stated Mic hoping that would make them see sense.

"But sir…" Started Monoma only to get cut off by Izuku this time.

"Is power that important to you?" Asked Izuku out of nowhere.

"What?" Was all Kendo could say confused.

"Is having power that important to you?" Repeated Izuku making all the students confused. But Kendo said nothing confused.

"Why do you want this power?" Asked Izuku going another way.

"To be a better hero." Answered Kendo as she was unsure about her answer.

"I see." Was all Izuku said as he didn't like that answer, as neither did the teachers. Izuku then started to walk to the door but stopped once he reached it.

"If you want power for such reasons then know this. When a monster comes for you, I won't fight it." Declared Izuku shocking everyone in the room as he left.

Sir Nighteye agency

Sir Nighteye did not know why Zero wished to talk with him along with his sidekicks.

Currently the three were in the meeting room as they faced the screen in the room. On Nighteye's head sat a more streamlined version of the device used to allow both him and Zero to talk at the same time.

"Thank you all for coming." Said Zero in a serious tone.

"Zero what is this about?" Asked Nighteye as he guessed it had something to with his father's visit.

It was strange, Zero asked for privacy with it, and when Nighteye agreed to it Zero completely shut him out. He didn't even know Zero could do that.

"Before I answer that, I need to say this first. What I'm about to say is very sensitive information and could get you into trouble if it's found out you know this." Said Zero surprising the three.

"It's not like I can say no." Said Nighteye with a sigh.

"And for that I'm sorry." Said Zero as he took that option away from him.

Bubble girl and Centipeder looked at each other as they weighed their options before Centipeder spoke.

"Thank you for the option Zero. But regardless if we say yes or no, the fallout you fear of will affect us regardless." Explained Centipeder as Zero looked to Bubble girl.

"And you agree with this?" Zero asked her.

"I do." Bubble girl told him making Zero nod his head.

"Ok then. What I'm about to tell you is top secret no one can know this." Started Zero as the three were curious and a little worried.

"Is this about the monster attacks and why they're happening." Said Zero shocking them, but they said nothing.

"We don't have all the facts yet. But the monster attacks are tied in with the little stars and Geed." Continued Zero only for Centipeder to cut him off.

"Geed? Why is he apart of this?" Centipeder asked confused.

"Little stars can only be removed from their host by giving the power to an ultra. And before any of this started no one knew about Geed." Said Zero as Nighteye caught on.

"You're saying that the one reasonable for this knew about Geed's existence before hand." Nighteye stated as Zero nodded.

"But who would know that?" Asked Bubble girl.

"His father." Said Zero as Nighteye decided to bring up something.

"Who's his father really?" Asked Nighteye as data on Izuku's father was almost non-existent.

"Before I answer that this is why I needed you to all to agree to be silent. His father is a fallen Ultraman." Stated Zero in a serious tone.

"Fallen as in died, or fallen as in he's a villain?" Asked Bubble girl hoping for the fist option.

"Calling him a villain is a dangerous downplay. Belial is the only being in the history of the Ultra's to invade our world single handily, and he almost destroyed it too. He also conquered another universe and used it as a staging ground to invade the land of light. And he destroyed this Earth." Zero informed them shocking them.

"Wait!? He destroyed this Earth?" Asked Nighteye confused as they were very much alive.

"He did. I was there and I failed to stop him!" Growled Zero as he never felt so powerless before.

"Then how are we alive?" Asked Centipeder confused.

"It was Ultra King. He sacrificed himself to merge with the destroyed world saving it. But no Ultra had ever done anything like that before." Zero told them sadly.

"Is he dead?" Asked Bubble girl feeling bad for him.

"No he isn't. But he spread himself too thin. Now he can't reassemble himself let alone his mind. Hikari has spent all his time since then trying to bring him back." Explained Zero as it was a dark day for all the Ultra's.

Hearing that the hero's didn't know what to say to that. If what Zero told them was true, then everyone on Earth owes this Ultra King their lives.

"You seem to be very affected by this." Stated Nighteye by Zero's tone.

"I wasn't always like this. My attitude and ego got me into trouble so badly I broke some scared rules on the land of light. But King saw the potential in me and took me away to help me reach the potential he saw in me." Said Zero as he felt a debt to Ultra King for all he's done for him.

Nighteye noticed the tone Zero was using and understood where he was coming from. Even thought he and All Might haven't talked or seen eye to eye in a long time, he too felt a great debt to him. After all his quirk isn't strong or flashy and had a limit. But All Might saw past that and allowed him to join his agency.

"Getting back on track, what is Belial goal?" Asked Nighteye curious.

"That's tricky. The little stars are based off of other Ultramen. It could be Belial's goal to absorb other Ultra's power to increase his own. Or he wants their power to fuel some sort of machine? With Belial there's no telling." Explained Zero as the end goal was something they couldn't figure out.

"So what do we do now?" Asked Centipeder curious.

"Belial hiding somewhere near this Earth. He didn't get out of last fight without some serious injuries. So he's probably recovering. So he most likely has some sort of servant working on his behalf here." Explained Zero as he thought about it.

"So we find this servant and not only do we stop the monster attacks, but maybe find a link to his master." Summarized Bubble girl.

"It's much easier said then done." Started Nighteye with a sigh. "There are thousands of people in this city alone. Finding one person, is like finding a needle in a haystack."

"And capturing this person won't stop the monster attacks. They may slow down, but they started something and it's not going to vanish with them." Said Zero grimly as he couldn't let her believe that.

"But how do we even begin such a search by ourselves?" Asked Bubble girl as they were only three, technically four. of them to do it.

"She right." Agreed Centipeder as this was a huge task.

"We're not alone the other Ultra's are doing what they can from their side to help us." Zero told them.

"We should contact those we trust with our lives for help as well." Said Nighteye as he had a feeling the league of Villains could be involved in this somehow.

But then Nighteye got a call on his cell phone, as they paused the conversation. Though by the end of the call Nighteye and Zero were shocked by what they heard.

It was after school at the UA as the teacher were having an emergency meeting.

"Let me understand this." Started Nezu as he couldn't choose between shock or anger right now.

"A hero course student, not a general study, or tech, a hero course student has a little star and is refusing to let it go." Continued Nezu as general or tech he could understand, but hero was a whole other matter.

"Yes." Admitted Vlad King ashamed as Kendo was his student. And he was going to have words with Monoma for his attitude.

"And to top it all off Mr. Midoriya is now refusing to fight if a monster come her way." Added Nezu as he rubbed his eyes.

'What a mess.' He added in his head.

"I should have expelled the brat." Said Eraser with a frown.

"Really? I thought you be proud by what he did." Questioned Power Loader as some of the others agreed with him.

"And why would you think that?" Asked Eraser as everyone gave him a blank stare at that.

"What?" Asked Eraser as he saw the looks he was getting.

"You're kidding right?" Asked Mic with a dead pan stare.

"That's what you would have done." Said Power Loader.

"Are you kidding me?" Asked Eraser.

"You do go on about your real-world experience thing." Said Power Loader.

"And how does that relate to this?" Asked Eraser getting annoyed.

"We have a student who knows that she can cause a lot of damage but refuses to do anything about it. And the one who it affects the most refuses to clean up after her." Explained Power Loader as the other teachers nodded in agreement.

"Then we get Zero to jump in." Said Eraser.

"He won't." Said All Might shocking everyone.

"What did you just say?" Asked Vlad King in shock.

"I contacted him before the meeting and told him everything. He agrees with Izuku's decision and won't come if a monster attacks here." Said All Might with a sigh.

"You're kidding." Said Midnight as neither Ultra will defend them if a monster attacks here.

None of the teachers said anything as this could become a dangerous situation fast.

"If Miss. Itsuka does not give up her little star within 48 hours of the start of school tomorrow, she will be expelled." Stated Nezu shocking the staff.

"Are you sure sir?" Asked Vlad king as he didn't want to loss her, as she had potential. But at the same time, he couldn't condone her choice.

"Yes. She made her choice and must live with it." Stated Nezu.

"Alright." Said Vlad King as he was right.

And with that decision the meeting came to a close.

Meanwhile with Kendo she laid in her bed looking at her hands. She couldn't get the look Izuku had on his face when he told her she was on her own if a monster attacked.

'Why the hell did I listen to Monoma?!' Thought Kendo more pissed off at herself.

'All because I wanted more power!' Growled Kendo in her head.

'And people may die because of my choice.' Continued Kendo praying that won't happen.

Kendo closed her hands as she knew what she had to do. She had to give up her power, before something terrible happens.

But little did anyone knew on the outskirts of the city the ground shifted as nearby trees and such fell over as the path headed towards the city.

The next day Kendo was walking towards class 1-A's homeroom.

"Kendo our class is the other way." Stated Monoma as he approached her.

"I know. I need to go to class 1-A for a bit." Stated Kendo as Monoma's eyes went wide as he knew what she was going to do.

"You can't give up that power. What about our class's advantage!?" Asked Monoma in shock.

But Kendo didn't answer him she continued to walk to the classroom. She could hear Monoma trying to talk her out of it behind her, but she ignored him. After all listening to him got her in this mess in the first place.

Soon she reached the room, as she took a breath to steel herself. She then opened the door and looked for Izuku. She then saw him sitting near the back talking with some people. She then walked over to him.

"Kendo?" Said Izuku surprised to see her here.

"Izuku." Started Kendo as she bowed to him. "I'm sorry!"

"Huh?" Was all Izuku could say as he wasn't expecting that.

"I allowed the prospect of power blind me to the dangers it brought with it." Said Kendo ashamed of herself.

"I know what you mean." Said Kirishima as he joined in.

"You do?" Said Kendo surprised.

"Yeah I had a little star too. The power it gave me feel like I could have been the best hero of all time." Explained Kirishima as Kendo nodded as she felt the same way.

"The feeling that new possibilities are opened to you." Added Kendo as Kirishima nodded in agreement.

"But I can't keep this power. Not if it will cost others their lives." Stated Kendo as she looked at Izuku as her chest lit up.

Everyone watched as a ball of light floated out of her chest and into Izuku's capsule holder. Izuku then opened the case and brought out the new capsule.

"Astra." Said Izuku looking at the capsule showing an Ultra that looked similar to Leo. His chest plate was similar to Leo, but Astra had a shield like crest around his color timer with bands around his upper arms. His head was more smother than Leo's with two grooves on either side and a green circle on his forehead.

"Can I ask why you got upset with my answer yesterday?" Asked kendo curious to the answer.

"You said you wanted power to be a better hero. That's similar to what happened to a fallen Ultraman." Said Izuku shocking everyone.

"A fallen Ultraman?!" Said Kendo as this was news to her.

"He was an amazing Ultra who fought in the great Ultra war. But his thirst for power drove everyone away from him. And in the end, he became such a danger he was locked up for everyone's safety. But he broke out and when he did, he caused some much death and destruction that the Ultra's had to put him down. But even to today they don't know if he's alive or not." Explained Izuku as none of them knew he was talking abut his father.

"Wow." Said some of the guys as that made the Ultra's seem more human like.

But before anyone could say anything else the ground shook dangerously.

"Earthquake!" Declared Ida. "Everyone get under your desks!"

But before they could the earthquake stopped.

"What was that?" Asked Sado confused.

"Izuku I am detecting a monster in your area." Warned REM.

"Thank you REM." Said Izuku as everyone in the class knew what that meant now.

"What sort of monster is it Izuku?" Asked Ida as the type of monster would determine their course of action. Meanwhile Kendo was shocked to hear this. Was this her fault?

"I'm not sure." Answered Izuku as the as the ground shook once more.

Outside the UA serval building started to fall over and sink into the ground. Then from the fallen buildings rose a monster.

This monster was much different compared to other monsters. It's main body was spherical in shape. It was mostly black with some red near the centre. It had an alligator-like head sticking out from the centre of it body. And the head had sharp fangs for teeth. It had short stubby feet and long tail with two sharp claws sitting out of it. Lastly the monster had two horns on either side of it's head and two more on it's upper body. With the ones on top being longer. This is the organic saucer monster: Black End.

It didn't take long for Izuku and Class 1-A to get outside with Kendo following them.

"What monster that?" Asked Momo curious.

"It's… Um…" Said Izuku as he couldn't remember.

"Your supposed to be a nerd Deku!" Growled Bakugo as he should know these things.

"There are hundreds of monsters out there! You try to remember them all!" Countered Izuku as some were easier to remember then others.

"Shouldn't you take care of the monster first, then remember who it is?" Suggested Shoto as the monster was destroying everything around it.

"Right." Agreed Izuku as he got his Rizer out. He then saw his new capsule and the Leo capsule as he knew what to do.

"You go!" Said Izuku as he activated the Leo capsule as Ultraman Leo appeared.

"I go!" Continued Izuku as he activated the Astra capsule next.

"Here we go!" Said Izuku as he then scanned the capsules.

"Fusion Rise!" Announced the Riser.

"Boil! My fighting spirt!" Announced Izuku as he pushed the trigger on his Riser.

"Ultraman Leo! Astra! Ultraman Geed Le-over Fist!" Announced the Riser as the Ultra's fused with Izuku.

Everyone watched in awe as Izuku transformed into a new form for Geed. This new form had a mostly red body with the legs being black. But at the top of the black looked like flames. On his forearms were silver armguards. Near his colour timer was a chest guard like Astra and Leo had. And on his head was a silver helmet with the top looking like flames.

"Wow." Was what a lot of the students said at Geed's new form.

Geed then took a kung-fu stance as he stared down Black End. Black End roared at Geed as the light it saw vanished and now it was angry. And Geed was a prefect way to release it's anger.

Black End roared as it charged at Geed. But Geed stood there waiting for Black End to reach him. Then at the last second Geed grabbed Black End's top horns stopping it. Geed then started to kick Black End's head making the monster furious.

Black End then opened his mouth to unleash a torrent of flames from it's mouth. But Geed was able to let go and jump away in time. But Black End was quick to respond with it's tail as it slashed Geed across his chest, knocking him down. Black End then charged at Geed aiming it's horns at him once more. But Geed was quick to recover as he kicked Black End's feet from under him. Black End fell on it's back as a result. Geed then flipped back up on his feet as he got into a fighting stance.

Back at the UA Kendo wondered something.

"How is he able to fight like that?" She asked Class 1-A.

"He says that when he transforms into a form, he knows the base abilities of that form. So this form might be Kung-fu based." Informed Ida as Kendo nodded.

"So if he learns more fighting styles, it will increase his power?" Asked Kendo as her eyes widened after what she said. That was what she needed to get stronger.

Back with the fight Black End got back on it's feet as it roared at Geed. It then swung it's tail at Geed, but this time he was ready for it. Geed grabbed the tail started to pull on it turning Black End around. Geed then let go with his right hand, but he quickly gathered energy around his hand and sent a karate chop down on the tail and cut it off.

Black End tumbled forward as cried out in pain from the lost of part of it's tail. Geed dropped the tail as he then charged at Black End.

"Burning over kick!" Yelled Geed as both his feet caught fire.

Geed then unleashed a flurry of burning kicks onto Black End. All those with fire-based quirks watched on with awe as some of them wondered if they could copy that. Geed then kicked Black End right under it's jaw. The blow was so strong it picked Black End off ground as it flew into the air. As Black End was in the air it then exploded.

Seeing this Geed gave the 'Osu' stance as he was about to fly off. But he then stopped when he heard another building about to go over. He then rushed and caught it before it could.

Geed then pushed the building upwards, but gasped when he saw people inside it still. If he let go of the building the people inside would die.

But relief quickly came as tress started to grow about the base of the building keeping it stable for the time being.

Geed let go and looked down and saw Kamui woods there. The two shared a look as they nodded to each other as Geed then took off into the air.

"So the kid can learn." Muttered Kamui woods. Though he was grateful Geed caught that one building, as it was the only one with people still in it.

He then looked around and sighed. The damage caused by Black End's arrival was going to take a long time to fix. And that wasn't even counting if the ground was still safe.

"This is bad." Was all Kamui could say as this was above his pay grade and level of expertise.

Later that day at the UA, school was still on. Though some of the students were getting a little nervous as this was the second monster attack near them.

It was lunch time for the students as Kendo was getting alone as she felt somewhat reasonable for the monster attack.

"Mind if I join you?" Asked someone as Kendo was so into her thoughts, she failed to hear them come up. Kendo then looked up as she saw Izuku there.

"Sure." Said Kendo surprised by him being here as Izuku sat down.

"How are you doing?" Asked Izuku as he started to eat.

"I'm ok. But I feel responsible for what happened this morning." Said Kendo as she just couldn't eat.

"I understand what your saying Kendo. But what a monster does is it's own fault not yours." Stated Izuku as he meant it.

"You may be right. But if I gave you the little star yesterday, none of this would have happened." Said Kendo as she heard about the damage Black End's arrival caused. And they weren't sure of all of it yet.

"I can see why you got so upset with me." Continued Kendo.

"Yeah, but at least you realized it before it was too late." Assured Izuku as he was angry at first but at least she realized what she did.

"But at least I realized why you got so upset with me." Said Kendo confusing Izuku.

"Huh?" Was all he could say confused.

"You were angry with me because I was relying on the little star for power. When I could have learned other skills to grow." Said Kendo as Izuku blinked confused.

"Um right." Was all he could say to save face as he was just pissed off with her. But he'll let her think that was why he was like that to save face.

"I can learn other fighting styles to increase my options." Said Kendo as Izuku's new form gave her ideas.

"Maybe you should look closer to yourself as well?" Asked Izuku confusing her.

"What do you mean?" Asked Kendo.

"Your quirk." Said Izuku.

"But all it does is grow my hands and increase my strength with them." Said Kendo as she saw Izuku put his hand to his chin.

"Does the strength come right from the size growth or is it separate. Does your growth have limits, or it in your head? And does your growth only work on your hands or can it affect other parts of your body like your arms or legs?" Asked Izuku as those were the only parts of what Izuku said that kendo could understand.

"Um." Was all Kendo could say as she never thought of some of the things Izuku said, or at least understood.

"Sorry about that. He gets excited when he talks about quirk." Said Uraraka as she and Ida joined them.

"So I see." Said Kendo as Izuku was still going on.

Soon Izuku stopped and they started to talk and get to know each other better. All the while Monoma was fuming childishly as he saw kendo flirting with the enemy.

And Geed has gained a new form. I know I said I was going to stick with the show's forms. But one user changed my mind on the matter. And before people start asking if I'll use all of the game exclusive forms, I'll only add in two others. Which two though, I'll keep to myself.

And I know it doesn't seem like Kendo to listen to Monoma like that. But in the world of My hero the possibility of a flasher quirk is too much to pass up to even someone like Kendo.

And Zero and Nighteye have started to look for Belial's servant on Earth. But that in itself is a huge task, as they have nothing to start with. But one slip up will make things a lot easier for them.
