Raise your wands for Dame Maggie Smith. Thank you for all the years as the Head of Gryffindor and Deputy Headmistress
The waters raged and ragged, as storm clouds roared over their heads. Barty raises an arm over his head, staring at the island that they were slowly sailing nearer and nearer.
Ekrizdis Azkaban, a man who had started out as a simple priest of Giratina, who came to the island along with a few settlers.. But disease and Yvetal had followed them to the island, and Ekrizdis soon finds himself the only one left after having to bury everyone. Insane, the man wanted to figure out what had caused all their deaths but his. And so whenever any seafaring folk sailed near the island, he would lure them to the old church that they had built, now his fortress. He tortured them before killing them, trying to figure out why…why was he the only one to survive.
"Its said that he lost his sanity in the end, never finding out why he survived. He went so mad that he hung himself," Barty thought to himself, as he steps out of the boat and onto the dock. As rain pelted his face, Barty takes a deep breath, seeing the mist blowing out of his mouth with how cold it was. He turns his heels, eyeing the men that had came with him, "I want you all to bring out your rock, steel, fire and dark types," he rolls his eyes as the men scramble for their trainer belts, "Or at least any of your Pokemon that can use a moves of those specific types that I just called out,"
He pulls out a Pokeball from his own, releasing a Pokemon that resembles four interlocking gears. He nods his head at his starter, the Klinklang floating around his head before they set off towards the fortress. The closer they got to it, the closer they could see that it resembled a church, though they all felt dread with each step they took to the looming door. Barty didn't even react to the sight of the decaying skeleton where a bell was once hung.
Though one of the men walking behind him did whimper at the sight of it, even more at the chilling cried that came from inside. Which was followed by a wail.
Pushing the double doors open, a cold breeze all but gush down on their faces, forcing many to close their eyes in pain. Not Barty though, he kept staring at the gather Pokemon that stared them down with icy blue eyes. A hollow torso that resembled a kimono, they wore a red band around their waist. Their arms were connected to the sides of their heads and flared at the wrists which were dappled with a light blue. The head itself was like a mask with its three holes, where two of these holes allow their eyes to be seen.
"Froslass," the lead one cries out, making the men behind Barty shiver. Barty couldn't blame them. The Froslass of Azkaban were much more terrifying than their other regional counterparts. It still freezes their prey in ice, but the Froslass of Azkaban had the Hidden Ability Draining Heart. It allowed them to feed on the happiness of their opponent, making them flinch for either 1 to 3 turns, giving the Froslass plenty of time to freeze them in ice. These Froslass were so dangerous that it was illegal to catch one.
But the region of Grimm found a use for them. Utilizing their hidden ability, the Everstar League turned the rundown church into a true fortress, making it into a prison to keep the most vile and wicked Grimm has to offer. Though many were still against using them, many more believed that giving them a food source willingly kept them to the island and away from the Regions to wreck havoc. "We are here for a prisoner who may have been sentence here wrongly. You shall give him up,"
Froslass's eyes narrow in anger, Barty stood his ground. They never like giving up what they consider theirs. But the Froslass gilded back, allowing them entry. Nodded his head, Barty led his group up the frosted stairs, pulling his coat tighter to keep himself warm. They made their way up in silence, the Froslass keeping away due to the weakness of the Pokemon by their side.
The further they ascended, the louder the wails became. The colder it became as well. All of them shivering as they gripped the railing of the stairs tightly in their hands to keep from slipping on the ice covered stairs.
"Please! Please let me out!"
"I didn't kill him! I swear! He… he… he just fell! He just fell! It's not my fault the stupid twit decided to argue with me on the stairs!"
"I… I promise I won't touch them anymore! I'll never look at a Garvedoir again! Just please let me out!"
The group following Barty ignore the wails with ease. Though most of them were more concern about the Froslass that were watching them as they floated past, heading towards another cell that made the occupant scream.
"THEY WILL RETURN!" Barty turns his gaze to the woman who's silver eyes glaze madly at them. Though her face was gaunt, and dirty from lack of proper hygiene, many would consider the woman before them beautiful. Bellatrix Lestrangw grins, a soft snicker escaping from her that made people behind Barty flinch, "My Lord may have died, but he was their disciple! He was stronger than any of you whose' blood has been tainted by those who defied them! And we! His loyal followers have been tau-"
"OH SHUT UP BELLA!" A voice, while raspy and seem to not had much use in years all but scream at the woman. In the cell across Bellatrix was a man, his face too was gaunt. But his skin was paler, some having a blue tint to it, on the edge of having frostbite and not seeing the sun for the last ten years. His hair was now much longer, draping down his back and was, in Barry's opinion, quite gross with its matted appearance.
But his grey eyes were filled with light, and life. He stares up at them, blinking before a cocky grin grow on his face, "Junior…I'm supposed with you here and not your old man, I'm not becoming supper for these ladies here… you're here to get me out aren't you?"
Barty stares at the man before him but nodded his head at his question, "Sirius Orion Black, there has been some more findings, some that may prove your innocence. You are to quietly come with us, any attempt to escape," the Kinklang besides Barty grinds its gears together, sending out sparks, "and we will have to use force against you,"
Sirius grins, and quickly scrambles up, almost slipping on the light ice that covered the ground. "Oh by all means ladies and gentlemen take me away!" He laughs loudly, almost a cackle as he stares at them with blown out grey eyes.
"Aria! Aria!" A green eye open, and Aria sighs as she sits up, shaking her head to have the few leaves sticking to her black hair fall off. "There you are useless girl!"
Aria glowers at Kendrick, the older man's yellow eyes glaring at her. "Don't call me that," she huffs, patting her knees to get rid of the dirt, "what do you need,"
"Oh, mistress will be so distressed about who is to take over as Lady of the House," Kendrick mutters under his breath, shaking his head. "To have such a forgetful Heiress… quite a rage she will be in,"
"And I quiver in fear at your mistress," Aria rolls her eyes, "what do you need of me?" She grits her teeth, holding her tongue so she wouldn't curse at the older man. If she was one thing grateful for the Dursleys, it was the years of holding back her temper.
"Half-Blood Heiress is to return to her room," he huffs, "your dress is ready for you, laying on your bed,"
Aria smirks, "Now, was that hard?" She smirks at him before she turns around and heads back inside the castle.
The castle itself was not only the ancestral home of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black but also the Gym. The lower levels was where they gym resided, most importantly where the battle courtyard was. A trainer has to find the courtyard, using clues that they are given while avoiding a pack of Mighyena chasing them.
The upper levels is where the Black Family lived. Aria had taken the last few weeks to explore with Hades. Though both made to keep out of Kendrick's room. The one time her and the Duskull had tried to enter, they were given a raging and mad spitting man in their face. Who had promise to wallop her if he ever finds her slinking around his room. It was only thanks to Tonks that she had been able to get away from the man before he had tried to do anything worse than smack her on the head.
Other than that, the trainer and Pokémon had the run of the many halls, looking on in curiosity. Though soon the wonder and awe had begun to die down soon enough. Other than the actual gym and the living quarters, Aria couldn't fully go wandering the castle. The higher levels were only reachable by elevator and a stairs that were block by a door that needed a special key. The rooms up there were for people to host parties and meetings. And the Black Family only allowed the best.
"Meaning only those of Pure-Blood," Aria thought as she steps inside her room. It still amazes her that she has a room, even after a whole month. She and Hades spent a lot of time there, counting the days until they go to Hogwarts on the first of September.
She found herself all but diving into Rotomphone to devour the knowledge in her textbooks. All of them were interesting, though she spent hours reading The Regions: Throughout the Years the most. Learning about the world outside of Surreydawn was fascinating to her. While she knew people expected her to start up the Potter Gym once she graduates from Hogwarts, Aria was thinking more about exploring the regions before settling down. See whats out there…
"But that's adult Aria's problem," she thought as she stepped into the room. Kendrick was right, the dress she was to wear. It was simple, nothing to fancy. A black dress that went to her knees, the skirt being tiered. The sleeves were short only above her elbows and flurred out. It was simple, and something to Aria's liking as she never really wore any dresses at the Durselys.
She quickly slips it on, her tail easily slipping through the small hole in the back, allowing her to be more comfortable. She was slipping into her black mary janes when Aunt Andromeda walked in, smiling at the sight, "Oh look at you," she whispered.
Aria huffs, "I look ridiculous,"
But Aunt Andromeda smiles, grabbing a brush and running it through Aria's black and gold hair, "While you may think you look ridiculous, what I see is a beautiful young girl. And don't you worry," she grins at Aria, "Once you're older you can wear even more beautiful dresses!" she began to braid the sides of Aria's hair, tying the ends with yellow bands.
"You mean there will be more Opening Ceremonies?" Aria grunts, eyes narrow, "why should I care about these things when Grimm has never shown an ounce of care towards me since my parents died," After getting over the shock of the fact that she was famous, she grew…angry. Learning that so many people wanted to shake her hand, meet her…but no one did anything…no one asked questions on where she was because Albus Dumbledore said she was ok and happy…
Aunt Andromeda looks at her sadly, "I know…but you have a duty as the Heiress of both the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter and as the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black. It is expected you to go," she then kneels down, gently squeezing Aria's shoulders, "And…you will be meeting others around your age. Those who are going to Hogwarts as well,"
Aria frowns at this, but nodded her head. She whistles a bit, and Hades flies out of her closet and dives into her shadow. Taking a deep breath as she felt her partner with her, she nodded at her Aunt, "Let's get this over with,"
The streets of Wishdream City were packed. While many people were not expecting a Champion this year, as many trainers were still recovering from the Civil War. Many were still excited that the Everstar Championship would be run, lifting up joy for the people of Grimm.
Aria was following Aunt Andromeda and Uncle Ted up the stairs of the stadium that was the Gym of Wishdream. The Gym was owned by the Malkin family, and it was the biggest Gym of all of Grimm, being the only gym that was a stadium. "Why…do we…have to go so high up," Aria grits out, panting as she clutches to the railing of the stairs.
"We're heading to the private box for families of the gym leaders," Aunt Andromeda said, "Its also the place where the heirs and heiress can mingle and bond with,"
"Its kinda like a mini debut," Uncle Ted grins, "They only bring their children here when they're eleven," he takes a few steps higher, and opens the door, allowing Andromeda and Aria to let them in first.
"FRED! GEORGE!" Aria jumps at the loud screech, blinking at the slight heavy and short woman with flaming red hair that fell to her shoulders. Her blue eyes were glaring up at two boys who had the same facial features. "Twins," Aria thought as the two twins wrapped their arms around each other's shoulders. Giant smiles on their face not even caring as their mother all but scream at them in front of a crowd. "How dare you do something so idiotic to Percy! This is his first Opening Ceremony as the Heir and you,"
"Molly, please," another woman gently spoke, her purple hair framing her face in waves, "You can scold the twins when you get home. As of right now you are in public and the ceremony is about to begin at any moment,"
"We don't need to hear your screeching over the event," drawled another woman. This one with white, blonde hair with a black streak. Her ears, which like Andromeda were hyena ears, which were pinned down to her head as she glares at Molly with her silver eyes.
Molly glares at the other as well before she sighs, "Your right Irene," she mutters, before giving the twins before her a glare, "Do not think this is over. We shall be having words when we get home,"
"Of course, mum," one of the twins, this one with blue eyes smirk, before he and his brother headed over to the buffet table.
The woman with the black streak in her hair watches in disgust as Molly went over to another boy who was sitting on the ground in a stupor, he too with ginger hair but had horn rimmed glasses. Shaking her head, her gray eyes narrow as she noticed Andromeda, "Sister," she coldly stated, making many others turn, "Are you lost dear? You know this box are for those of family to the gym leader,"
"Very funny Narcissa," Aunt Andromeda remarked, "But grandfather invited me so I can watch Aria," at this the trio step inside, and Aria couldn't help but frown as everyone turns their gazes at her, more importantly stare up at her scar.
"Andromeda," Molly started, looking at Aria with wide eyes. Which confuse Aria since she has never met this woman before, "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean…the Potter Gym is no longer open, there no reason for her to be here,"
Aunt Andromeda frowns, "Molly, yes, the Potter Gym is close down, but Aria is here as the Heiress of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black. As Sirius was the Regent Heir before his imprisonment, he named Aria his Heiress. For what reason we don't know but the Julian Family states that it was all legal. And as a female," she turns towards Narcissa who was staring with wide eyes, "She is the next Lady of the House," she turns her gaze back to Molly, "Anyway, how is Bill and Charlie? Nymhadora would be here but she's starting her Auror training alongside her friend Talbott,"
Molly whose eyes kept flickering to Aria frowns, before she sighs, "Both are doing well. Bill is working in Unova, looking into the ruins of the Relic Castle for the Julian Family. And Charlie got a job in Johto, working for the Blackthorn Family in their Dragon Holy Land Reserve,"
"Impressive," Ted remarked, "The Blackthorn family is one of Johto, Most Ancient and Noble Families…they don't let just about anyone work in their reserves,"
"I know and I'm proud of him, but I wish he had chosen a job that was a bit more," Molly trails off, trying to find the right word, "Safer. Both of them really. Bill could be killed by any of the traps in the Relic Castle and Dragon Type Pokemon are known to be quite vicious,"
"Both of them know what they're doing," Ted put in, gently patting the arm of the fretting mother, "While Rakepick was nasty old thing, she did teach Bill well during her year as the Battling Professor, and Charlie will be around many experience handlers of dragons. And he isn't some foolish boy that is going over his head, you made sure of that Molly,"
As the woman nodded her head in agreement to Uncle Ted's words, Aunt Andromeda pats Aria on the back and nodded her head. Sighing, Aria looks around before spotting two kids about her age. One was a girl with long white hair that was woven into a French braid that was swept over her shoulders. Her skin was quite pale with a light dusting over freckles. She was wearing a teal dress with a bronze trim that went to her knees, black tights underneath. She had a magenta cloth wrapped around her waist. Her blue eyes were narrow on the chess board, trying to think of her next move against the boy she was playing.
The boy had dark skin, with freckles all over his face. He was gangly and slightly taller than both girls, with fluffy, red hair that flipped up at the end. His blue eyes shimmer with determination, popping out more with the subtle brown eyeshadow he wore. His outfit was just a simple black suit, old and slipping off his shoulder, with brown patches sewn in the elbows, "Come on Greengrass," he grins, "Make your move,"
"I am Weasley," the girl snaps back, "Just hold your Rapidash," she bites at her lip for a moment before making a move. And then her shoulders slump as the boy easily takes her king.
"Check and mate," he grins as a Fletchling flies down to his shoulder, "how many is that now? 10-0?"
"One of these days, Ron Weasley I will," Greengrass blinks, noticing Aria standing next to them, "my apologizes… but who are you?"
Aria blinks, "ah…. Aria… Aria Potter… sorry my aunt wanted me to mingle,"
"Are you really?" Ron blurred out, before he grins at Aria's nod, "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Ron Weasley," he gestures to his opponent who was picking up the Swinub that had been sleeping by her feet, "miss snooty here is Daphne Greengrass,"
"You be snooty too if you been losing in chess for the last four hours," Daphne remarks before rolling her eyes, "and stop staring at her scar," she scolds making Ron quickly look away, "Really Ron, there's no need to be rude,"
"It's fine," Aria shakes her head, "I better get use to it. Lots of people will be staring once we get to Hogwarts," she nods at the chair, "May I sit here?"
"Of course," Ron smiles and turns to Daphne shrugs. He chuckles as Aria sat down, "Ginny is going to be so jealous,"
Daphne looks to him, "Is she still giving you trouble?"
Ron sighs, scratching the back of his neck, "A bit. I almost wasn't able to come because she was whining about not being able to go,"
Daphne frowns, "she does know that it's a tradition for Gym Leading families to only come to the Opening Ceremony when they reach the age of 11 and gain their starters?"
"Yeah she knows but she was fighting on it," Ron leans into his chair, "saying that it's already bad enough that she's going to be the only kid left at home. Mum was thinking of me staying at home to keep Ginny company while I can, but Dad put his foot down so she's spending time with Aunt Muriel who is watching Luna Lovegood while her dad is here,"
"She was about," Daphne scrunched up her face, "I said this once and I'll say it again. The way your mother treats you and the twins while she pampers Ginny,"
"Gin-Gin is her precious daughter," Ron sighs, "Can't do anything wrong. Dad is trying to stop it since both Bill and Charlie pointed it out to him… luckily I won't have to deal with it for the next few months," he grins and turning to Aria, "Are you excited for Hogwarts as well?"
Aria nodded her head, watching as Hades emerged from her shadow. The two others stare at the Duskull as he floats over to the board and taps at one of the pieces, making it tip over. He chuckles in glee and goes to tip another one when the Fletchling on Ron's shoulder flew down and pecked at his mask.
"Ace," Ron groans, grabbing the Fletchling before he can do more, "Sorry about that, he's a little wild thing that likes to cause trouble. Has been since Charlie gave him to me,"
"Charlie?" Daphne frowns, her fingers all but intwine in her Swinub's fur, "shouldn't your father have given him to you?"
Ron grimaces, looking down, "Dad had a big order coming from Hoenn and… he forgot to save one for me… but it's fine!" He gave a big grin but Aria could tell it wasn't reaching his eyes, "Charlie's Talonflame had a clutch of eggs so he gave me one of them before he left for Johto… so I still got a Weasley Pokémon,"
"Hardly something to be happy about Weasley. A Fletchling is hardly what I would call a proper starter. Since it's just a common flying type in Kalos and even in Alola," they all turn their heads to see a slender boy with cool light-gray hair that was slicked back. His skin was pale, not as pale as Daphne's but it still allowed the shimmering light green scales that dusted his face and the tips of his fingers to really shine. He too like Ron was wearing a suit, but it fit his form better, and seemed to never have seen a wrinkle in its existence.
"Oh so true, Draco," mocked a girl that was wrapped around his arm. She was fair skin with her black hair that had a bowl shaped haircut. She was wearing a brilliant red dress with the skirt being poofy, shimmering with gold speckles. There was a golden cloth wrapped around her waist, ending in a bow. She giggles, her orange eyes narrow at the three, "honestly I'm surprised that the Weasley family still hold the title of Gym Leader at all…ever since your Uncle Billus lost almost all your money due to his partying antics, your grandfather was lucky enough not to lose your sorry excuse of a gym by the bare of his teeth,"
Aria could see that Ron was angry by the girl's word. His face, ears and the back of his neck was turning red, and he looked like he was about to storm out of his chair and throw a punch at her when Daphne spoke, "I heard that you and Draco are betrothed now, Pansy. You have my congratulations,"
While Aria's eyes widen at this news, Pansy giggles behind her hand, "Oh yes. Daddy knew I don't want to be the Gym Leader at all, and such he needed to find me the perfect husband to take on the tasks," he grips onto Draco's arm tighter, "and of course Draco is the perfect one, with him being from the Ancient and Noble House of Malfoy,"
"Only because your father owns a massive debt to Lord Malfoy," Daphne remarks with a soft smile. Aria couldn't help the snort that escaped her as Draco hisses, lips curling to show sharp fangs.
But his gray eyes moved to her and he smirks, "So the rumors of you being here were true. It's a pleasure to meet you, Aria Potter. I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy," Ron snorts, or at least tries to. Draco glares at him, "you should know Potter that there are some families that are better than others. You don't want to make the mistake of hanging around those that are considered trash in the eyes of Grimm," he then holds out his hand to her, "but I can help you there,"
Aria frowns, before she chuckles, "I think I can tell who is trash and who is not by myself, cousin," she smirks softly, her eyes half closed, "I mean… you just insulted someone of a higher standing in front of many others of higher standing," she gestures to the other occupants in the room, "you who insulted one of their peers, who while may have fallen on harder times are still one of their own for many generations. Doesn't make a good first impression of yourself, the one who will be taking the first step into our ranks by marriage," she pointed out watching as Draco's slightly pink face pales when he noticed that some were glaring at him.
"Draco," the woman who had been softly arguing with Aunt Andromeda calls out to him, her eyes narrowing at Aria. Aria didn't react just stared at her, but she thought she saw a glimmer of respect in those gray eyes, "You and Pansy come over here. The Opening Ceremony is about to begin,"
"Yes, mother," Malfoy muttered, walking over to the woman, Pansy still attached to his arm.
After a moment of silence, Ron couldn't help but laugh, "That was bloody brilliant!" he exclaimed, not even Daphne's quick shush as the lights began to dim could get him down, "You really showed him Aria,"
"Just did what grandfather taught me," Aria mused before turning her gaze down to the field as the spotlights began to shine down onto it.
From the middle of the bright green field, a golden post began to rise, a man standing in the center of it with his arms spread wide. The stadium itself exploded as thousands of people began to cheer, as the big screens flash on, revealing a closer look of the man. He was slightly older with a few wrinkles on his face, gray streaks shimmering in the blonde curls of his hair that poked underneath the green bowler hat.
Illuminated by spotlights, letting their applause go for a bit more before he raises a hand, "Welcome one and all to Wishdream's Stadium…welcome to the beginning of the first Everstar League Championship in 21 years! Grimm, our beloved region with thriving nature, beautiful cities and many Pokemon with which we share our lives!"
He holds out a Pokeball, before throwing it into the air and releasing the Pokemon from within. They were blue and armless with its head bigger than its body. Purple branching gills on both sides of its head, they shake it before looking out at the crowd with its small beady black eyes. "Wooper!" the small Pokemon cries out jumping in place in excitement. Many chuckles and laughs were head, as the little Pokemon ran circles around the podium, "Thanks to the help from these mysterious creatures that we call Pokemon we have been able to rebuild our lives from the dread war brought onto us by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name and his dreaded Team Purity. Which was brought to an end thanks to the wonderful Lily Potter, the Saviour of Grimm!"
Aria frowns at this, even as more people cheer in celebration of her mother. A woman she had never met and will never meet until she herself dies. The man kept talking, "And we are honored today, by the arrival of none other that Aria Potter! The only survivor of the fateful attack on the Priderock City Gym." the screens shifted, blasting Aria's face onto them. Aria kept staring, showing no reaction except her hands gripping the leather of her seat, her claws almost tearing into them. She could hear the screams, many cheering and even crying at the sight of her…and she felt rage.
They care so much for her, so why didn't anyone go and check on her. Why did they just accept Dumbledore's word that she was alright? She felt something press against her cheek and turned her gaze to Hades, who rattled sadly at her. Giving him a soft smile, Aria pulls him into her arms, hugging him close and taking deep breaths through her nose to calm herself down, focusing her attention back onto Minister Fudge.
"And those like Lily Potter, those who choose to raise and train Pokemon to do battle and compete. We call Pokemon Trainers. Oh, but I'm getting carried away. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Grimm and it is a pleasure to be here. Ladies and Gentlemen, I know that everyone has gathered here and everyone watching from home have been waiting long enough. So allow me to explain the details of the Everstar League Championship. Participants must defeat the eight gym leaders and gather the eight Gym Badges to prove their skills as a Trainer. Only the most worthy will have the honor and be allowed to take part in the Confrence but it seems I'm getting ahead of myself. Allow me to introduce you to Grimm's Gym Leaders! Those who you will have to battle!"
Ron smiles, looking giddy while his twin brothers began to cheer loudly as Minister Fudge turns to the other side of the stadium where a large entrance opens up. "Giving a gentle breeze to all of Scorchingsand City, I give you our Flying Type Master. Lord Arthur Weasly!"
The man that walked onto the field, with a Talonflame soaring above was taller than most with dark skin. He had very short red hair that was a bit choppy in appearance, though it seem that he was beginning to bald somewhat. He had green eyes that shimmer brightly behind his glasses, filled with joy as he walked towards the Minister. He wore a red vest like jacket that reached below his knees with wavy gold stripes on the side and a gold trim. Underneath it was a white button up shirt and black parachute pants. He was smiling brightly, waving to the crowd before he brought his arm up to allow his Talonflame to land gracefully on.
"Deep within the Acre Woods lays Roaringbind City, guarded by none other than its Gym Leader. Our Fighting Type Master, Lord Amos Diggory!"
"Go dad!" a boy with brown hair and rather well built and sitting beside the purple haired woman that had scolded Molly shouts as a man, rather shorter than Arthur Weasley and the Blaizen walking by his side stepped onto the field. His brown hair reached his shoulders, and his smile was almost hidden by the wild beard he had around his face. He was wearing a dark blue jacket over a golden waistcoat while black pants and black boots covered his lower half.
"From Wishdream itself. May I present our Bug Type Master. Lady Verna Malkin!" a slightly older woman walked onto the field. She wore a very beautiful blue dress, with a mauve bow placed on the chest. Her hair was pure white, from age unlike Daphne's and was slightly curled around her shoulders. Twirling beside her was a Levanny.
"I heard this was her last year," Daphne mutters, "She's planning on giving the Gym and Ladyship to her daughter, Melanie next year,"
"From the beautiful rose gardens of Hatterfall City. Hatterfall's Gym Leader, our Fairy Type Master. Lord Xenophilus Lovegood!" Everyone blinked in confusion when no one appeared. Until a wide grinning mouth slowly appeared beside Amos, soon followed by a body. The man before them looks eccentric. His blue eyes were a bit crossed while his face was almost covered by his light blonde hair. Atop his head was a pair of purple cat ears, that matched the bushy purple striped tail that was swaying behind him. He wore something simpler than the other two. A baggy white jacket that reached his knees and covered his arms. Underneath it was a purple striped shirt with a pair of blue sweatpants. He wore no shoes, going barefoot. Roosting on his head was a Togekiss that cries out before it chitters at quietly to its Trainer.
"From the great and wide oceans of Lagoontock City. Lagoontock's Gym Leader, our Water Type Master, Lord Hans Parkinson!" Stepping onto the field was a stern man with a nose that reminded Aria of a Honchkrow. He wore a waist coat, like Amos, but his was blood red, and over it was a black leather jacket that reached his ankles. Following behind him, growling with each step, was a Feliagator, its back and arms covered in scars and looking like it would love nothing more than to take a bite out of its Trainer's flesh.
"On top of the icy cold Arendelle Mountain is Nokksnow City, where our Ice Type Master resides. The Gym Leader of Nokksnow City, Lady Idina Greengrass!" Making her way from the entrance, a large Mamoswine stomping in step with her was a beautiful woman and clearly Daphne's mother. Her brilliant white hair was loose and fell to her mid back. Her off the shoulder crystal blue dress shimmer in the spotlight, looking like it was made with ice. Aria wouldn't be surprised if it was.
"From the Great Forest itself, may I present Falinegrove City's Gym Leader. The Grass Master, Dowager Augusta Longbottom!" Aria couldn't stop her eyes from widening. She was quite older than Grandfather, with the ears of a deer emerging from her silver hair. She stood strong, even with her thin and bony build, but her Shifty kept it yellow eyes onto her, prepared to leap at any sign of danger. She was wearing simple clothing, a green tartan button up sweater that went well with the brown skirt. But Aria was hardly paying attention to that, her eyes locked onto the stuff Mandibuzz on her hat.
"Is that…"
"Yep…" Ron whispers, "I heard it was the first Pokemon she caught and she didn't want to part with it…" he shrugs his shoulders when Aria looks at him with wide eyes. "That's what Fred and George told me,"
"And you listen to them?" Daphne whispered, before she looks around, "I don't see Neville,"
"You think his grandmother would bring him here? She probably didn't trust Lady Malfoy, since her sister did…" Ron trails off, looking uncomfortable and turning his gaze to Aunt Andromeda.
Aria blinks at this but her attention was pulled back towards Minister Fudge, "And finally! From the shadows of Cacklebone City, I give you our Dark Type Master, Arcturus Black!" Aria watches with wide eyes as her grandfather made his way onto the field, but her attention went towards the Pokemon walking beside him. Much larger than any of the others, the bipedal dinosaurian Pokemon was covered in a green armor-like hide. Several spikes of varying sides protrude from the back of its head, neck and shoulders while a ring of spikes surrounded the tip of its tail. Aria couldn't help but stare with her jaw drop at the sight of the Tyranitar. She had only seen one, and that had been on a tv, when her old school had a substitute and just let them watch a movie.
But watching a Tyranitar named Godzilla stomping onto an airport didn't feel like the real thing. This Tyranitar….it felt and looked imitating, like it could easily destroy a whole city if it wanted to. Minister Fudge obviously felt the power from the Tyranitar, eyeing it warily before pulling out a handkerchief and dabbing the sweat off his face, "Now then…" he swallows before shaking his head, "These powerful eight trainers are your biggest challenge. They are the ones you shall need to defeat to be able to participate in the Everstar League Conference! And those who have been granted access into the Conference will have to fight against one another until only one remains. That person will then be granted the honor of facing our beloved Elite Four!"
Aria looks up, watching as the screen changes to the four members of the Elite Four. The Poison Master, Richard Avery. The Normal Master, Marigold Edgecomb. The Steel Master Walden McNair and the Electric Master, Amelia Bones. "Unfortunately," Minister Fudge stated, as the crowds went silent when they realized the four didn't appear on the field, "Duties had called them and they could not show up. But they wanted me to tell you all good luck and that they are waiting. But also to be prepared, because to make sure Grimm has the Champion it deserves, you will need to prove yourself. The Elite Four will be using all their strength and power to make sure they defeat you. And to end this on a good note, to all Trainers, to the Coordinators, Connoisseurs to those heading to Hogwarts. We at the Everstar League wish you luck. All of you are our bright future and we cna;t wait to see what you make of yourselves. We cannot wait to see the stories that you will create for the next generation!"
And with that, fireworks lit into the sky, deafening the screams and shouts of the crowd. Aria's ears pin but she smiles, arms shaking a bit and heart pounding. Though she looked around as others began to stand up, about to make their way out of the box. "Hey," she calls out to Ron and Daphne who turn their heads to her, both having started to walk towards their families, "Meet you on the train?"
Ron blinks, while Daphne smirks a bit, "I think we will enjoy that," Daphne replied before she walked towards another woman, this one with reddish brown hair that was tied up into a bun. Ron nods his head, grinning widely before joining up with his brothers and mother, frowning as one of the twins ruffle his hair.
Aria huffs a bit, her ears twitching before she looks down at Hades, "I guess I got some friends that are humans…" she mutters while Hades rattles a bit, poking her nose. "Very funny,"
So here we are! A lot of information in this chapter, but I knew it was going to be. But it is finally here!
Ron and the Weasley Family. I know people were expecting me to make them base off the little mermaid, but I decieded that they are base off of Jafar. Ron is in fact a mixture of Jamil and Ace in this. Their family Pokemon is Talonflame, which represents Iago. Also before anyone ask, yes Ron will have jealous issues, but he is going to work on them. Being the youngest son and the attempt of trying for a girl (which is canon) and Ginny being the pamper princess. Boy has self-esteem issues.
The Greengrass Family is base off of Elsa. I know there isn't anyone like that in Twisted Wonderland but gods does it work for the headcanon that Daphne is the ice queen. Her mothers are Idina (name after Elsa's voice actor) and Rachel Greengrass.
And finally the Malfoy Family, yes he is a merperson. But no he isn't base off of Ursula. Instead, the Malfoy Family is base off of Morgana, Ursula's sister from the second movie. I won't give out any hints, but lets just say that I really got inspired by Mr. Chaos.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy. Please leave a review, I love comments
