The screen began showing an index, showing the dozens of chapters available to them from the grimoire. The first chapter was called: "A Battle Between Bounty Hunters". This title made the guardians wonder how great these bounty hunters were to be kept in these scriptures, and what made them different from other bounty hunters they have seen in both their worlds. The chapter then began to play.
As the chapter began, they were shown images of two figures, both suited in armors that were considered taboo to them.
The first was a human man. He was wearing a dark green helmet and chestplate, with the helmet black T-shaped visor with a red outline and an antenna over his right ear. The breastplate had a black outline and connected to black and orange shoulder pads. He also wore black sleeves with red gauntlets and belt, both containing items that seemed to fit a numerous assortment of items.
The second was a woman, though it was hard to tell at first glance. She wore full body armor, her appearance hidden by a helmet that had a green V-shaped Visor. Her armor appeared to be of a similar construction to the angels of Yggdrasil, but lacking wings and a yellow metallic hue. The most notable item about her was the weapon in her right arm, A green cannon that seemed to take the place of her forearm, as if it were a replacement.
Their appearances were alien to the Guardians (Kind of Ironic when you think about it) but to Ainz, he knew who they were. Before Yggdrasil, had played many other video games and watched many movies and shows. He knew that the characters they were going to watch were fictitious in nature, but he shouldn't see them as such. As this book was given to him so Nazarik could grow from them, he should treat them as if they were real. We learn and accept more from history rather than fiction. He looked to see how the guardians perceived the first warriors.
Cocytus could tell they were experienced warriors, and while their armor was strange, it was strong. He could compare them to be on the same level of the lizard men chiefs he had fought.
Albedo didn't like the fact they were watching humans, but would tolerate it if they're considered great warriors by her beloved.
Demiurge was curious, the armor on the woman seemed to inadvertently be similar to an Angel Guardian, but without their wings. Did this human have angelic abilities, like a cleric or holy magic caster?
Aura wondered what kind of weapons they used, since the weapons shown in their images were unfamiliar to their design and capabilities
Mare had similar thoughts to his sister as to what kind of magic or martial arts, if they had any, they were able to use.
"The Bounty Hunter. Galactic Pirates of Living Beings." said a voice, almost like an elderly scholar in the body of a young man.
"They blow shit up for cash." said another voice, this one rougher and more drunken than the other
These voices confused the guardians, they expected to hear the voices of the Supreme Ones, not random strangers
"My lord Ainz," asked Mare "Who are these people speaking"
Ainz, thinking on his feet, said in reply "These are the narrators, they are the ones who have the responsibility of explaining the story. They are well versed in the knowledge required to understand the warriors abilities. The first voice is the more intelligent one responsible for calculating their power and feats while the second one is responsible for the combat weapons and abilities of the warriors."
"Why didn't the Supreme Ones, write it themselves"
"A simple reason," Demiurge answered "the Supreme Ones collected the knowledge from them. It would be too time consuming for them to have visited and researched countless worlds, those two collected it themselves. Anyone would be happy to give their lives work to the Supreme Ones if they simply asked for it. Isn't that right Lord Ainz"
"That is correct Demiurge, I'm glad you understood their reasons. 'Phew, that was close'"
A prime example is Boba Fett, the most feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy."
"But don't forget Samus Aran. She's so badass, whole planets explode when she's done with them. BOOM!"
"I'm Wizard." The first voice, now identified as Wizard, introduced.
"And I'm Boomstick!" Boomstick introduced.
"THAT IS BLASPHEMY!!" Screamed Shalltear "ONLY THE SUPREME ONES CAN HAVE THAT SORT OF POWER!!"
"I AGREE!" Joined Albedo, though she didn't want to agree with Shalltear "A MERE HUMAN, CAPABLE OF DESTROYING WORLDS, IT ISN'T POSSIBLE!!"
"I believe that the man is speaking metaphorically," Said Ainz, trying to calm down the guardians. "He is nearly exaggerating her power to excite those reading, or it this case watching, the story. It is a tactic also used by kings to make them seem more powerful by exaggerating their feats."
"Oh, that makes so much more sense" Said Shalltear, calming down in an instant.
"Yes it does, sorry my Lord Ainz" Added Albedo, calming down just as miraculously. This action of the two, for lack of a better word, 'weirded' out the rest of the guardians and Ainz himself.
"It is alright, but let us bring our attention back to the chapter." Replied Ainz, trying to return the Guardians focus.
"Quite right my lord." Said Demiurge, a curious and analyzing look in his eyes "It seems that these warriors are not only bounty hunters, but ones that have reached out beyond the world we know. Going beyond their planet to other worlds, quite fascinating if not confusing Lord Ainz.
"Indeed Demiurge, let us continue"
Wizard then continues "Its our job to analyze the weapons, armor, and skills of these two beastly killers and answer the most important question of all: which of these warriors will win a Death Battle?"
The story continues as Wiz stated "In these videos, we will be assessing their capabilities and determine the fight through simulated fights and will be following a certain guideline of rules:"
A list appears on the piller listing the Death Battle Rules
Wiz then starts stating the rules of the Death Battle "Combatants shall posses no knowledge of each other, to make it a fair fight."
Broomstick then jumps in stating that, "Combatants are simulated versions of these characters, created by our multiversal thingamajigs and our own world's knowledge of them. So don't go crying over their deaths, because they are not real."(This statement slightly disappointed Demiurge and Shalltear, they hopes to see genuine death)
Wiz then continues by stating that, "To ensure a true fight to the death, character personalities that restraint them from murder are completely ignored. All character traits and tactics will be represented fairly and largely. Anything else is fair game!"
The final rule is stated by Boomstick, "And Most of All, No Outside Help!"
"This will truly be a more honorable fight" Said Cocytus, thinking of adding some of these rules to his training practice
"If we applied those to ourselves, that would mean that it would be a battle of skill rather than preparedness." Said Demiurge, regarding how he usually views the manipulation of the battle field, "Given knowledge of an opponent, any of us could win without much effort. But in an instant battle, you must learn and adapt quickly in order to outsmart your opponent"
"Not only that," added Albedo, wanting to gain Ainz's approval of her own strategic mind, "the removal of their usual moralities against killing gives a lack of limits to which warriors are usually limiting themselves to and now willing to pass. That allows the fighters to go past their mental barriers to win the battle"
"The rule against outside help means that if the character has summons or allys normally in battle, they would be forbidden from calling on either of them for assistance" joined Aura, starting to wonder how her combat skills with her tamed monsters compares to without "This will cause the fighters to rely on themselves alone in battle"
"Now that we have covered the rules," Wizard said. "It's time to begin"
The screen then changes to an image of the warrior known as Boba Fett, presenting him as a curt-throat warrior. He was shown drawing a strange weapon, a cross between a cannon and a hand crossbow, from his holster and pointing towards a target off the screen. After a short moment, the speaker known as Wiz began to speak.
"Boba Fett is well known for his cunning, ruthlessness, and brute force. But his killer instinct relies on his diverse arsenal of death." he explained, slowly focusing the image on the center of the image.
"Curious," said Mare, "He seems to be using a weapon similar to CZ2128 Delta, only in a smaller size. Does this mean he possesses Mana?"
"Possibly," said Albedo, "But we can't be sure, they are from another world. It's possible that this world may not have anything similar to Magic" (Just wait Albedo, just wait)
Boomstick then interrupts, changing the image on the screen to show a full image of Boba Fett's armor
"Plus, he wears the most badass spacesuit ever!"
"Spacesuit?" Asked Victim
"It must be a specialized armor that allows the warrior to survive in the stars, but it seems that he has augmented it for combat use as well " Said Cocytus
"That's no ordinary space suit, Boomstick, that's Fett's Mandalorian Armor. Forged from nearly indestructible duroplast containing a micro-energy field for disbursing impacted" As Wiz explained, a chart showing a summary of the suits capabilities is shown, listing:

Boomstick then gives an example of the strength of the armor "This guy can have a freakin' bomb blow up in his face and still walk away."
"Impressive," said Shalltear, "for a human."
"Indeed, while I don't know that this 'duraplast' is," Said Cocytus, "it seems to have a similar application to mythril, being able to disperse attacks around the body instead of being focused on one spot. Though it seems to apply to physical attacks rather than magic, and apply resistances to certain elements as if it were enchanted
Another image begins a series of actions being performed with the gauntlets as well as a list of the actions:

"His gauntlets house a flamethrower with a reach of five meters, a fibercord whip, and numerous concussion and stun missiles."
"He also has an item that combines multiple items into a compact storage." continued Cocytus "Designed for capture and kill his targets."
The image then changes to show Boba Fett wielding another firearm, this time larger in size, the list changing again:

"His weapon of choice is his EE-3 Carbine Rifle, an extremely accurate and powerful weapon that Fett often cradles like a child
Boomstick then comments on Boba Fett's gun carrying habits by saying "Yeah, I do that with my guns too"
"That's … not weird at all Boomstick." Responds Wiz, in a weirded out tone to his friend "Fill us in on Fett's heavy weaponry"
The audiance, while a bit confused as to why someone would cradle a weapon like a child, couldn't notice the usefulness of the weapon. Since it didn't require mana from their operation, it's range and abilities would be a useful addition to their undead. Their archers could be the most adept at using these kind of weapons with enough training.
As the image and list changed again to a gliding Boba Fett as Boomstick begins to explain "Well, everyone and their grandmother knows that Fett can zoom around on his badass jetpack, but that jetpack also has a single anti-vehicle homing rocket, and believe me, you don't wanna see this thing heading your way."

"He also has an item that can mimic the Fly spell while firing an explosive towards enemy" Said Cocytus "But the question is how good is the maneuverability"
"As you said, it mimics Fly in a similar manner." said Mare, "The spell allows the wielder to leverage and maneuver using body movements and wind magic. Since the pack doesn't correspond to other body parts, it's likely he can only perform simple flight maneuvers and not any complex ones such as making sharp turns."
Wiz begins speaking again as scenes of Boba Fett in battle using his equipment "In short, Fett is a human Swiss Army knife. He's killed hundreds of criminals, politicians, and Jedi (For some reason, those of evil alignment felt a slight hatred toward the word, Jedi, for some strange reason)
A notable scene then begins playing, showing the bounty Hunter fighting a dark figured man with some kind of light based sword "He's even held his own against Darth Vader, twice"
"Holy Shit That's Hardcore!" Boomstick replied to Wiz.
While the guardians were interested in the dark armored man, they were focused on the weapons they were fighting each other with. They were colored swords of energy, almost if a light (Maybe Holy) magic was focused into a single compressed blade of energy. They decided that that mana most likely didn't exist in that world, and were intrigued by what powered the blades instead.
An image of him with two guards dressed in similar armor to him stood beside him, with him wearing a green cape to distinct himself from the reseat of the group "He became leader of the Mandalorian mercenaries after the Galactic Civil War, and battled Mace Windu to a draw when he was 12 years old."
"He must be quite the prodigy." said Demiurge, "Most humans we've met couldn't even scratch a skeleton soldier, let alone fight a human who the Supreme Ones would be willing to call by name."
The screen then begins to show Boba Fett's jet pack malfunctioning and causing him to fall into a pit, which seems to home to a gigantic creature whose mouth is similar to a squid-based monster
Wiz continues in stating that "But with all his awesomeness, every so often, Fett will totally blow it. He's fallen into the Sarlacc three times. Three! And the Sarlacc's not exactly running around, looking for snacks."
"THREE TIMES?! How Do You Even Do That Once? It's a giant hole in the ground with teeth, and he's got a jetpack!" Boomstick yelled, angry at the fact someone as skilled as Boba Fett would fall to such a creature.
"Ha, that makes more sense for a human!" Said Aura, getting some chuckles from her fellow guardians
Wiz then says "Still, even with his ridiculous flaws. Boba Fett has a whole new meaning of deadly." The screen then shows Boba Fett and Darth Vader together, most likely discussing a mission that Vader hired him for"
Darth Vader then orders "No Disintegration"
"As you wish" is all the Fett replies
"Even though they are a human," said Albedo, "at least he seems trustworthy enough to finish a mission and strong enough to be a decent scout"
"Let's who the second warrior is," said Demiurge, "I am wondering if they have holy magic or some form of connection to angels based on their armor"
The Screen then begins to show the second warrior, only without her helmet. She had a porcelain complexion with blond hair tied in a ponytail. Her appearance gave her a more dignified look compared to her opponent.
"Samus Aran was infused with bird-like Chozo DNA at a young age, increasing her strength, speed, and athletic ability far beyond those of a normal human being." Wiz began.
"How do you do that?! I want some bird DNA!" Boomstick said.
This caught Demiurge's interest immediately, a gleam on his glasses and wide grin on his face. Their research on crossbreeding species hadn't been going anywhere recently. This was the answer to his dilemma, turning humans into crossbreeds. Fertility was the main problem with species combination, most often with killing the infant before being born. If they combine an already living human with another species, then that problem doesn't matter anymore. He would have to check into researching Chimera or other amalgamation creation methods and see if they can apply the methods to this new project.
A full body image of her armor was then presented, with its list of descriptions:

"Too bad it makes her look like a dude." Boomstick plainly said.
"Looks like the connection to angels is just a coincidental appearance similarity," Said Shalltear, "But that armor seems better than Fett's."
"I agree," Said Ainz, wanting this armor to be designed since he found it expressly cool in his past life, "It seems perfect for a light design armor, and can be colored differently for camouflage."
"Not only that Lord Ainz," added Cocytus "The easy augmentation would allow different races to wear and add items for different groups."
"We should start these designs as soon as possible."
The image's focus is brought to the weapon placed over her right forearm, with its characteristic listed as well

Wizard then begins to describe her weapon, stating that "Her primary weapon, the Arm Cannon, has acquired numerous awesome upgrades over the years. Though, the basic Power Beam is a pea shooter with a pathetic range."
"But when it's fully charged, it'll blow your face off. BAM! SHOOP DA WOOP!" Boomstick said excitingly, it was obvious to the group he was a weapons fanatic by now.
Following his friends lead, and images showing the effects of the upgrades applicable to the weapon, Wizard continues by stating "The Arm Cannon can also use an Ice Beam, a Grapple Beam, and a plethora of seeking and super missiles."
This weapon caught the interest of Mare, its ability to use different types of beams made him think about the possibility of enchanting weapons with specific spells for non-magic casters to use. It's as if it contained scrolls within its compartments.
The list and image changes once again to show Samus flying through the air and on the ground in the form of a ball. The list first stating the jet packs abilities:

Wizard explained the capabilities of each item while they saw each image, stating "Samus controls the skies with the powerful and speedy Screw-Attack, and if there's trouble on the battlefield, she can curl up into Morph Ball mode and slip away unnoticed."
"WHAT THE...?! How does she Do That?!"
"Bird DNA, Boomstick. Bird DNA." Wizard replied nonchalantly
"I guess that makes some sense," said Shalltear "I remembered hearing that lord Perichino (The bird semi human player that created Shalltear) had the highest agility of the supreme ones and he was a bird man."
The images then began to show images of Samus using a variety of different explosives on the battlefield, the list showing:

Boomstick then stated that "Samus also has a freakin' huge supply of Power Bombs, which will destroy Anything on the screen in seconds! Nothing Survives!"
"Sounds perfect for traps" said Aura, wanting to see what status effects they would cause if someone survived.
Samus is shown fighting a multitude of giant monsters, fighting for her life and destroying them with relative ease. "She is known to be the bounty hunter capable of taking on impossible missions, fighting massive beasts and even wiping out an entire species." Wiz explained, intriguing Aura and Cocytus with her warrior prowess as well as Demiurge with her work in completely eradicating an entire species "However, she often makes mistakes. Somehow, she always seems to lose all her power ups and upgrades at the beginning of every mission."
"Man, someone get this chick a purse."
Shalltear, Albedo, and Aura all became frustrated at that insect for making such a comment. As their dark auras spread, Ainz almost thought some casted Darkness around them.
An image of Samus is seen, ready for battle as she activates her visor stating "Time to go"
All the audiance was ready to analyze the fight, but different aspects. Cocytus wanted to focus on the techniques, Aura and Mare the weapons, Demiurge on the capabilities of the crossbreed, Victim on how they use the status effects of their weapons, and Albedo and Shalltear in how effective they would be as pawns for Nazarik. (Ainz was just sitting and waiting to enjoy the battle)
The scene begins to animate, a flying ship that contained a similar color palette and visor shape to Samus's armor was seen. As it was seen flying to its destination, it was shot down to a planet below, by a green and red ship in the shape of a thin helmet, crashing into a city. Samus's ship passes over a kingdom, fire igniting the stuck area while crashing through the ground, leaving a long indentation behind it. As Samus exited the craft, unphased but dirty, she saw Boba Fett, using his jetpack to fly down towards her. Identifying that he was the one who shot her down, she could tell that he had intended to kill her rather than take her in alive. She readied herself, aiming her cannon at Fett, and began the fight.
She begins firing a barrage of energy bullets at Boba Fett, trying to use her perch from above her wrecked ship. He flew backwards, causing the bullets to not not be in close enough range to reach, fading in the air before him.
Boba Fett retaliates by firing his rifle at where he saw the energy bullets originated.
Samus received the full force of the shots before finding cover behind one of the broken-off folded metal sheets of her ship, tailing significant damage. Her cover losing durability quickly, she had to think quickly, leaping above her cover and maneuver herself at an extremely high altitude from the continuous line of fire.
As she landed behind Fett, she quickly retaliated before he could respond by using one of her missiles, striking Fett with a small explosion. As the smoke cleared from the impact, Fett walked forward in a slow, menacing walk with a singed cape.
While he was messing with his gauntlets, Samus was surprised to see that her missiles barely gave any damage to his armor. There wasn't even a dent at where the missile struck his chest.
While lost in her thoughts, Fett uses the opportunity to leap forward with an added body from his jetpack, and uses his flame-projector to release a continuous stream of flame onto her.
While under the unrelenting torrent, Samus then backflips and fires another missile towards Fett. Seeing the incoming middle, Fett flew away to find a better tactic for finishing off his target.
As Boba Fett is hovering above the battlefield, Samus is seen behind him using her screw-attack to follow after him. He tries to outmaneuver her, flying in a serpentine formation to evade her.
The attempts were in vain, as she knocked him back to the ground after landing a hit on his back, the electricity in her attack causing the machine to short circuit and the thrusters to become inoperable for the remainder of the battle.
Fett lands back on the ground, shaking off the damage and preparing for his opponent by the strike. As soon as Samus returns to the ground, Fett begins firing an assortment of stun and concussion missiles, causing Samus t take ore damage.
Samus, thinking on her feet, rolls herself into a ball.
Not able to see beyond the smoke generated from his missile's explosions, he fires his Anti-Tank missile off his jet pack to end the battle,
Seeing the light of the anti-tank missile coming at her, Samus rolls away avoiding the full impact of the explosion, only taking some damage as she is blown away
As Fett observes the stuck area, trying to spot the remains of his target, Samus rolls up behind him, completely unaware of her presence, and places a power bomb right beside him.
As the power bomb detonates , the explosion causes significant damage to Boba Fett and his armor, leaving scorches and broken off pieces. He tried to regain his bearings, but the ringing in his ears was making it impossible to do so. He could barely see through his visor, cracked and soot covered.
As Samus rolled around and appears in front of Fett, she fired her Ice Beam at Fett, freezing him in place before he could fight back. He now resembles an ice statue, frost covering his armor and icicles sprouting out from the cracks in the armor
Samus then lept towards the frozen Fett, charging her Arm Cannon as she approached. As she aims her cannon directly at his helmet, she said in a cold menacing tone
"You're Mine"
Boba Fett's his head is then blown clean off his frozen corpse, the charge from the cannon reaching its maximum
For the most part, the guardians were amused. While the power they displayed wasn't better than a lv 15 player, they were resourceful. They tried taking advantage throughout the battle and displayed their different skills and equipment in full effect. They laughed when they saw Samus place the bomb behind the disoriented Fett, it was hilarious when he flew foward after the blast.
As a replay of the battle plays, the narrators began to speak again
"Holy Shit!" Boomstick exclaimed, annoying some members of the audiance. "Did You see that Wiz? That was Insane!"
"Fett battled like a champ, but in the end, Samus's superior technology and athletic skill trumped him, hard. While her basic Power Beam failed miserably, Samus put her Chozo DNA to work by jumping and dodging around Fett's offenses. Boba Fett, who relies more on cunning and brute force, simply didn't have the means necessary to catch Samus." Wiz explained.
Cocytus took note of this, if you can't overpower your opponent the. You can outmaneuver them. He should make sure the skeleton troops knew how to manuver their body's to avoid killing strikes. Their thin bodies would be adept to it.
"He was shooting all over the place, but that space chick was just too quick for him. He even tried to use his homing rocket, but anybody whose blown up a lot of shit knows anti-vehicle rockets don't work too well with people." Boomstick explained.
"Exactly. Samus is about four times smaller than the average vehicle, so there's only about a one in four chance for a direct hit from Fett's rocket. Not to mention, she kept moving, preventing Fett from getting a solid lock on her."
This made Aura think about her archery, she had power behind her attacks but accuracy was a problem when they were faster than the arrow, but it was rare for that to happen. Even so, she should make sure to focus on using arrow strike that could happen in rapid succession even if they had less power.
"After that screw up, Samus managed to sneak around Fett and left a little surprise at his feet."
"Fett's micro-energy field managed to minimize the damage he took, from the power bomb, but by that point, it was all over. Samus froze Fett with her Ice Beam and finished him off with a Charge Beam to the face."
"So the armor has a breaking point," said Demiurge, wondering about any comparable monster hides and enchantments that could substitute the armor capabilities "causing it to not be able to disperse damage but also removing his resistance to certain types of damage."
"Samus sure stopped him cold." Boomstick jokes.
"The winner is Samus Aran." Wiz finished.
And just like that, the first chapter finished. The guardians saw this book's usefulness as a true gift. They knew the guardians would only share knowledge of useful pawns for them to learn. They began the next chapter.
