Hello everyone! I've always been fond of the idea of Fantina and Commander Jupiter being sisters, simply because of their designs, the hair, and not to mention they both have a tendency to be overdramatic at times. In addition, I just figured this could add to both of their characters as well in general. So I hope you guys enjoy this quick one-shot.

The air in the prison was thick with an uneasy silence, broken only by the occasional clank of metal doors or the echo of footsteps. Fantina, the Hearthome City Gym Leader, walked with purpose, her elegant gown flowing behind her, a stark contrast to the bleak, cold environment. Her face, usually adorned with a bright smile for her fans and challengers, was somber, her lavender hair swaying slightly as she approached the reinforced glass of the visitation room.

On the other side of the glass sat a figure that many feared and despised—Commander Jupiter of Team Galactic. The woman stared at the table in front of her, her vibrant magenta hair dulled under the harsh prison lights. Her posture was rigid, eyes cold and distant, but as the door opened and her visitor was announced, something flickered in her eyes. Confusion, perhaps. Surprise.

"Fantina," Jupiter muttered, sitting up straighter as she saw the familiar face of the older woman she hadn't seen in years. She didn't expect her to come, especially not after everything that had happened.

Fantina sat down across from her, taking a moment to observe her younger sister. She looked tired—worn out from battles, both physical and emotional. But then again, so was she.

"Jupiter… or should I call you by your real name?" Fantina asked softly, her voice still holding that graceful accent she was known for, though now laced with sadness.

Jupiter's lips pressed into a thin line. "Don't. I'm not that person anymore."

Fantina sighed, placing her hands neatly on the table, her rings glinting under the fluorescent lights. "You are still her, no matter what you've done. No matter what mask you wear now, we are still bound by blood. You are my sister."

Jupiter flinched at the word "sister," something she had tried to bury beneath layers of resentment and distance. She had severed all ties with her past when she joined Team Galactic, leaving behind everything, including her family.

"I don't need you to come here and remind me of that, Fantina," Jupiter said bitterly, though her voice wavered. "What do you want? To tell me how disappointed you are? To rub in how perfect your life is while I sit here, rotting?"

Fantina shook her head, her expression soft but firm. "I am not here to gloat or shame you, ma chère. I came because you are still my little sister. I… I needed to see you, to understand why you did what you did."

Jupiter's eyes hardened again. "You wouldn't understand. You've always been adored, haven't you? The glamorous Gym Leader, adored by fans, the center of attention. Meanwhile, I was forgotten, left in the shadow of your brilliance."

Fantina's face fell, guilt flashing in her violet eyes. "Jupiter, I never wanted that for you. I… I didn't realize you felt that way. But that doesn't mean you had to join a group like Team Galactic! You hurt so many people, so many Pokémon. Why?"

Jupiter looked away, unable to meet Fantina's gaze. "Because… it was the only way I could be something more. They gave me power, a purpose. Something I couldn't find living in the shadow of you and the world you created for yourself."

Fantina's heart ached. She had never imagined that her success would drive her sister to such lengths. "You didn't need to find power through destruction, Jupiter. You always had potential—so much of it. And I would have helped you, had I known."

The silence between them grew heavy, as years of unspoken pain filled the space. Jupiter swallowed hard, her composure crumbling just a little. "It's too late for that now. I made my choices. I don't need your pity."

"It is not pity," Fantina said gently, leaning forward. "It is love, Jupiter. Even after everything, I still care for you. That will never change, no matter what you've done."

For a moment, Jupiter said nothing. Her tough exterior, the walls she had built around her heart, felt like they were beginning to crack under the weight of her sister's words. She had spent years rejecting that part of her life, denying her connection to her family. But now, in the silence of the prison, with only Fantina's words to cling to, she felt an undeniable pull back to that old bond.

"Why are you really here, Fantina?" Jupiter asked quietly, her voice barely audible. "Why now, after all these years?"

Fantina looked at her younger sister with eyes full of regret and hope. "Because I could not stay away any longer. I could not let my little sister fade into darkness without trying to bring her back. You are not beyond redemption, Jupiter. You still have a choice, even now. And I want to help you find your way… if you'll let me."

Jupiter clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she fought the emotions swirling inside her. For years, she had convinced herself that she was beyond saving, that the life she had chosen with Team Galactic had sealed her fate. But now, hearing those words from the one person she had tried to forget, something shifted inside her.

"I don't know if I can come back from this, Fantina," Jupiter admitted, her voice fragile, almost breaking.

Fantina reached out, placing her hand gently on the glass between them. "You don't have to do it alone. I will be here for you. No matter how long it takes."

Jupiter stared at her sister's hand for a long moment, tears threatening to fall as she felt the smallest glimmer of hope begin to spark within her. She didn't know if she could be saved, but for the first time in years, she felt like maybe—just maybe—there was still a chance.

And Fantina, the ever-graceful older sister, would be there to guide her, no matter what.
