Poppy nearly fainted. Branch prepared to catch her, then return back to his initial position when she didn't fall. "Wh-what?" Poppy asked.
"I'm your sister!" Viva cheered. "I thought you were dead!"
"I have a sister?" Poppy asked. "I have a sister!" Poppy reached back towards Viva, pulling her into a tight hug. "I'm so excited! You don't know how much I wanted a sister!"
Poppy and Viva smiled at each other for a moment, before Viva started singing. "There's somethin' stirrin' up inside of me I never felt before."
"Doesn't it hit right?" Poppy added.
"It's like I met another side of me that I gotta explore."
"Now that you're with me," Poppy continued, "I can finally see colors that were up in my mind, didn't know I was blind."
"Now that I'm with you, sparks are flyin' loose," they both sang together. "Fireworks go off in my brain, and I'll never be the same. I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives, it takes two. When I look up, the stars are brighter. Now I know everything's better with you. You got me feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin' like good vibes are at my door. Every day, every night. I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives, it takes two. It takes me-" they held down the note, "and you."
"Kaleidoscopic," Viva sang. "I'm seein' different when I look at you."
"Everything's looking bright," Poppy sang backup.
"No, I can't stop it now. I'm gettin' swept up in a feel good mood."
"Now that you're with me, I can finally see colors that were up in my mind," Poppy added. "I didn't know I was blind. Now that I'm with you, sparks are flyin' loose. Fireworks go off in my brain, and I'll never be the same."
"I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives, it takes two," Poppy and Viva harmonized, identically to the last chorus. "When I look up, the stars are brighter. Now I know everything's better with you.
"You got me feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin' like good vibes are at my door. Every day, every night. I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives it takes two."
"Now, now that, now that we got it all together," the boys sang, including Donald and Goofy, Sora, and John providing backup. "Now that we're together, we got it all. Now, now that, now that we got it all together. Now we're together, we got it all."
"Now that you're with me, I can finally see colors that were up in my mind," Poppy sang again. She changed the tune and speed a little, but it didn't stray too far from the original. "Now that I'm with you, sparks are flyin' loose. Fireworks go off in my brain, and I'll never be the-and I'll never be the same."
"I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives," Poppy and Viva harmonized. "It takes two. When I look up the stars are brighter. Now I know everything's better with you. You got me feelin' right, feelin' right, feelin like good vibes are at my door. Every day, every night. I didn't know until I found you, having the time of our lives it takes two. It takes me-" they held the note down again, "and you."
Poppy and Viva giggled, walking off. Clay gathered the guys and pulled towards a wall. "Clay!" Bruce cheered. "I'm so glad you're alive!"
"Me too, man!" Clay exclaimed. "I thought you guys were dead!"
"Dead?" Goofy asked.
"Why?" Sora asked.
Clay cringed, making a sucking in sound through gritted teeth. "Well, since you're here," he started. "During the Final Trollstice, King Peppy led the Trolls through the Troll Tree to safety, through tunnels he created. However, some of us got left behind. Those of us who did were scared. Viva, King Peppy's oldest, was the bravest of us all and fought off the Bergens, granting us freedom. We followed her to this abandoned Bergen golf site and made Viva our queen. Whenever we felt intruders, we disguised ourselves as golf balls."
"That's why Viva calls you the Put Put Trolls," Sora said.
"Exactly," Clay said, pointing at him.
"Oh ,man," Branch said. "I'm so sorry, Clay."
"It's no big deal," Clay said, smiling. "I'm just glad you're alive. The problem is that Viva doesn't like talking about it too much."
"About the Bergens," Branch said, playing with his hands, "the Bergens are actually our friends." He quickly put his hands up before anyone got to say anything. "I know, it sounds crazy. But you have to believe me. Poppy changed their minds and now we live in the Troll Tree again...well, at least some of us do. They don't want to eat us anymore."
"That's true!" Sora exclaimed. "Poppy and Branch sang this awesome song, and...in fact, we even went to the king, and new queen's, wedding today. John crashed the wedding."
"I did think it was weird you guys were in Bergen town," John stated.
"The Bergens are friends now?" Clay asked. "Wow, I missed a lot!"
"I'm sorry we missed you growing up, Branch," Bruce said.
Branch didn't answer, but instead gave Bruce a forgiving look. "Oh, that reminds me," Clay said, snapping. "Why are you guys here anyway?"
"We're bringing the band back together," John said.
"We need the Perfect Family Harmony," Bruce added.
"To save Floyd," Branch finished.
Tiny glanced at everyone. "Either everyone just made that up, or I was NOT paying attention!" Sora laughed. "You just weren't paying attention, Tiny. That's why we're even out here to begin with."
"I just wanted to drive!" Tiny replied.
"I get that," Sora said, glancing at Donald. Donald squawked angrily, which made and Goofy laugh.
Viva returned back out a few moments later, with Poppy. "Come with us!" Poppy was saying. Viva stopped walking, and stared at Poppy, with tears in her eyes. "No, Poppy!" she yelled. "You can't go back out there! It's too dangerous!"
Branch and Sora glanced at each other, then Branch approached Viva. "Look," he said, with his arms crossed, "I've literally been in your shoes. I thought the world was too dangerous as well, until Poppy helped me, forced me outside, and showed the world is not something you want hide from. I was hiding in my bunker, which was great, because I didn't have to wear any pants. But at the same time..." Branch glanced around and pulled closer to Viva, putting a hand up, "I wasn't wearing any pants."
Viva stared at him. Then back to Poppy. "I can't let you go, Poppy. I don't want to lose you again!"
The gates behind them opened. Viva jolted, then turned around, then up, to see Clay standing on the chain. "Clay! What are you doing?" she cried.
"I'm sorry, Viva," Clay said. "I have to save my brother." John smiled at Clay, with a proud smile. Branch nodded at him, then ran out to Rhonda. John followed, then Bruce, Tiny still attached to the child carrier on his chest, and then Clay, using his hair to gently pull himself down. Poppy ran up to the door, then turned around when Viva stopped.
Sora stopped a few inches behind her. "Sora!" Donald called, next to Branch, in front of Rhonda. Goofy shushed Donald by shoving his small hand on Donald's mouth. Donald grumbled.
"Viva, please," Poppy said, pulling her scrapbook out. She handed it to her sister. "Look, that me and Bridget. We're like sisters. Trust me, she'll love you."
Viva stared at the page, then back at her sister. "Viva," Sora said, "you have to trust Poppy. She bends the truth a little, but she wouldn't lie about her friends. I was there. I saw what happened. Poppy and Bridget are really close."
Viva stared at the book again, then looked at Sora, who put his hand out. Viva looked at the floor. She remains in the shaded area of the gate. She put her hand up, reached for Sora's hand, a small smile stretching across his face, before recoiling her hand away, shoving Poppy's scrapbook back at her, then running away, crying. "Viva!" Sora cried, reaching for her, before he stopped. Sora looked at Poppy, who stared after her sister. A Put Put Troll on the other side closed the gate. Poppy was left staring at the gate.
She looked at Sora, small tears forming in her eyes, before she gently smiled, and put her scrapbook down in front of the door. She turned around and put her head down, and sniffled. Sora put his hand on her shoulder. "You're doing the right thing," he said gently.
"I know," Poppy said, wiping her eyes. "But it still hurts."
"Sometimes, the right thing hurts," Sora said. "But...you still have to do it. She'll change her mind. I'm sure of it."
Poppy sniffled, and rubbed her arm across her eyes. "Yeah, thanks," she said.
