Chapter 0: Not Again

A rather small room compared to others in the area was quite... homey compared to the sparten living that many people dealt with now adays. Sevreal monitors lined one wall Even though they were considered archaic by the standards of today, considering most people had an implant placed in their head that allowed them to connect directly to the web via a simple thought. he was use to using screens and felt that connecting directly to the web was going a bit to far, but times changed. Besides he had never quite gotten use to seeing information just appear and float within his vision at random, even if he had gotten use to the interfaces of games years ago. Sevreal of the wscreensshowing news reports, data on several investments, and the like. Emails lit up and entire monitor by themselves. Fundraisers, Reunions, Parties, invitations nd ceremonious. All flooded his vision. An Email from his youngest 'legetimite' child was flashing an angry red. He opened it and saw that it was just him asking if he was going to come to the SAO incident memorial party.

"Even after all these years it was still a big deal, even if he was maybe one of about 20 people still alive from that incednet.

The Elder man rose from his desk, ignoring the dozen's of emails that flooded his inbox by the minutes. He had just finished updating his will. Something that he did once a month. He was old dammit, nearing 120 years at this point. It was only thanks to the wonders of modern medical technology that he was even still alive. just because of his status as the richest man in Japan and Grandfather of the DeepDive system. It was hard to believe that a lot of people often times forgot about Virtual Reality thanks to the rise of DeepDive.

Although the man remembered quite well the day FullDive, the Predecessor to DeepDive nearly put an end to VR as a whole. He looked over at his shelf were an old beat-up helmet sat. Outdated and no longer even able to connect to the new DeepDive System. The SeeD still existed in it's base form to a degree, but now, now it was a myth on forums and community boards that have long been abandoned. He had long ago released to SeeD into the DeepDive Web and only the most dedicated people could find it and practically break the web as it was.

The Old man walked over to the chair that gave the best experience for DeepDive. He sighed as he eased his old flesh and creaking bones into chair. His body began to sync up to DDS before his mind was yanked from his body.

"Link Start!" said the old man with a smile.

Even after all these years he still couldn't reseit the urge to say it, although modern technology had rendered it a mute point.

The 'Old Man' Opened his eyes and looked around the rEntrance hall of his Keep. Sitting at the back fo a Large forested valley, it had an entire village at it's base full of Faye Folk NPCs In the center of the castle was a statue of his mentor's alter ego heathcilff with his tower sheiled and sword before turned and looked in the mirror and looked at himself. Honestly, He was always kinda surprised how he felt when he entered Yddrasil. He no longer felt the aches and pains in his bones. He felt stronger than he ever had, but it was a false strength seeing as how in the DeepDive Reality you could be whatever you wanted. That being said he looked at the mirror looked when he was a young lad in his late teens or early twenties and had girls flocking to him for some odd reason. He stood at 6'1" and was built like a master kendo fighter. Then again he had only ever made 4th in Regional's. His hair was black as midnight and reached the middle of his shoulders but was pulled into a ponytail. On his face, you could see rounded tribal tattoos. Something he thought was appropriate as they ran down his arms and chest, purple eyes that were kinda the standard for him at this point, a more defined face with very few traces of baby fat. He wore black pants with a black belt that had a large silver buckle, a black V-necked shirt that was worn underneath a black trench coat with gray lining going down the sleeves and a white downward sword shape on his right shoulder, and black boots with silver plates to protect his shins. He had a silverish breastplate and a pair of black fingerless gloves. He wore a strap that went over his right shoulder and under it to wrap around his left side. On his back was a black long sword as well as a silver cylinder on his left side. Two of his many powerful swords

In the center of the castle was a statue of his mentor's alter ego heathcilff with his tower sheiled and sword before him. This is where Kirito AKA Kirigaya Kazuto AKA the Elder man logged into the game. He looked so different from his old man self that many would be mistaken if they didn't realize who he was. The Hero of the SAO incident, The Player with the fastest reaction time in SAO, second best swordsmen in ALO. His other acaladas were to many to name, but the one he was most proud was was Beater. A moniker given to him during the first month of the SAO incident. A moniker that once an insult, while he now it was the rarest class of swordsmen that only he had

Looking back on it it was such a stupid moniker. He didn't cheat, he was however a Beta tester. Beta Testers for the SAO incident were considered scum of the earth for hording all the information and best grinding spots. Considering how much EXP was needed for just getting to level 4 in ONE MONTH, it was a wonder that Kirito thought that SAO was a good game. It was so damn broken hat he was shocked that people played the pseudo squeal in ALO.

Oh he was getting a bit ahead of himself. He walked away from the Katana maids that were watching the entrance. It was something that he thought Klein would like since he had once sujjested as much. Each maid was a houmunculi, but each had a combat level of 30.

Klein?" thought Kirito thinking of his best male friend.

Klein had lived for a long time. Not as long as Kirito, but he still aged welled. He had died at the ripe age of 92. And surprisingly he did marry a former student of his who had a samurai lienege. Sure she had been a good decade younger than him, but they made it work. They had four children all of whom had been National ranked Kendo and Kenjutsu champions. One of whom had married Kirito and Asuna's own son.

He began to walk towards the throne room. With two of the Katana maids following him. Despite having over 300 Katana maids in the entire Castle they all looked different. He was sure that the two mini dress wearing girls shadowing him were Murayama and Katase.

Honestly they sort of reminded him of his grandkids a bit.

Speaking of children He thought of his wild love life. Asuna had always known that all the girls that He had encounted had feelings for him. Kirito knew it as well. He never drew attention to it as he only had eyes for Asuna... well Asuna had been his second love during his time in SAO. Hell it was why he kept Klein and Agil around to help break up the lust and jealousy that the girls had. But there were several problems with this. Klein treated all the girls like little sisters, especially Sillica who despite how she looked was the same age as Suguha/Leafa. And Agil tended to act the part of 'dad', especially to Liz who eventually moved in with him and his wife after her parents disowned her after the Underworld incident since she refused to get married to their business partner even though she was 18 at the time.

This brought up the problem of his 'harem'. Officially Harems were outlawed, but having mistresses was something of a gray area during the modern Era. So while Kazuto had offically married Asuna when they had been about 25, He was regualaryly going on dates and having sex with his other female friends with Asuna's knowledge and premission. The rundown of his relations with these women could only be described as crazy.

It wasn't a well-known fact outside of their friend group. It took Klein and Agil a few years to figure it out and after threats they gave him their full support and blessing. Yui was the only one who never privy to this information. Asuna- being the good wife and friend that she was- allowed Each of the girls to have Kazuto for one month out of the year until they were married themselves. He had had sex with all of the girls in their group at least once. Something Asuna had joked about just marrying them all. Then again it was illegal to have more than one wife.

With Asuna, his official wife he had a two kids. A boy and a girl. From there he and Asuna had 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren before Asuna died. Asuna had devoted herself and had become a loving dependable partner. With her money and connections and Kirito's knowledge they started their own company that specialized in Hardware and software. Of course by the age of 40 the company was such a well oiled machine that Asuna and Kirito only had to work a total of 10 hours a week. His 40 year old grandson was currently president of the company, but he was a dickhead and would probably lose the company to one of his cousins when Kazuto passed on.

Liz or Ruka had been the first, but she had gotten into a long-term relationship by the 6th year of that agreement and often joked that she wouldn't have stopped if she didn't get married. For a long time this was a sticking point between her husband and the group, considering he felt that he Liz belonged to him. He even had suspension that Liz was cheating on his with Kazuto despite the fact that the only time they were able to meet up after she was married was in game as they lived nearly 500 KM apart.

Silica or Keiko had delved into the world of Idols and had never wed or had children. She had even talked to Kazuto and Asuna about it when she retired from being an Idol at 30 and instead became a talent manager, whiel still making the rare appearance along side up and coming groups she managed. but by the age of 40 she had died when a stalker attacked her in her home.

Leafa or Suguha likewise never married, but she went on to be the head of the Kirigaya Family and the subsequent master of the Kirigaya sword style. She was a nationally recognized sword master and was considered the best sword wielder in modern Japan. Several other sword wielding family's proposed tied their bloodlines together, but Suguha refused and as Kazuto was still technically the only man in the Kirigaya family he could Veto Suguha in her refusals despite being the Head of the family. So Suguha had begged Asuna to allow Kirito to impregnate her. So he did and she pretended that it had been a one night stand... Three times. And never took a husband. While his Aunt and Grandfather had always had their suspension they never voiced them, just happy that the Kirigaya bloodline would keep going.

Sinon or Shino also never wed and became a full-time mistress with Asuna's permission. She became a police officer. By the time she retired, she had had two children with Kazuto and retired as the Deputy Director of the Public Security Intelligence Agency Cyber Crimes Division. Hell, he had even had a one-night stand with Yuki and Asuna. Asuna had felt bad that Yuki would die without ever knowing what she liked. So, using the SeeD Prime code they created a world where Yuki could have sex. That was a night Kirito wouldn't soon forget.

The Guild he had created was massive in scope and easily was in the lower half of the top 10. With over 1000 players in the Guild it was a noder that he was able to keep them in check. Than again he was one of the few player who had managed to win the Annual PVP tournoment and had even managed to defeat Ainz Ooel Gown's Touch Me. A name that was quite adiquite as the man had speced not into attack or defense, but Agility and HP.

Thinking about the guild again he wanted to laugh. Kirito had created the Guild on a whelm.. While it was technically his Guild it had a strong political- IN game- Divide. He never got to deep into the politics, but their were Three Factions within the Guild, Exploration, Combat, and Market. Being the man he was Kirito was considered a major backer for both Combat an Exploration. Their Guild had explore further out than any other guild in the Entire game.

He had wasted a good chunk of money on the game. Almost half a million dollars in game and millions for Devs, Admins, and mods, to 'be absent' when he turned all of Kiyaba's Keep, and Heathcilff Valley into his Guild Base. Sure the Guild had used many data crystals, Mercenary NPC's and Custom NPC's to make the village and Keep nearly inpentrable

The throne room itsle was on the 3rd floor. Many people would find this too low a floor for the majisty that was their Guild and Weapon, but it was a weapon all on it's own as anyone who could breach the defenses of the town and Castle would still have to climb the 10 floors were the Guild weapon was kept.

Speaking of Guild weapon's Kirito summoned the Bastard sword and looked at it. He Guild had called it the Sword of Oblivion. It was a fitting title as it had a game breaking ability to obliterate one player every 24 hours and if you used didn't use it for a week you could use this ability up to three times. Kirito had used it once on a member of their guild who had tried to sell them out and practically destroyed his character since he was a new member.

That had been a shit show revamping all of their security measures.

Kirito took a seat in the Red Throne. He took the bastard sword that served as the Guild Weapon and slammed it into the ground next to him. He looked to his left where the two most powerful NPCs in the entire guild were situratied. In the event that the town and castle fell they were the last lines of defense.

Commander of the Keep's army, and Head of the Knights of the Blood Oath. Asuna was more than an NPC with maxed states that complemented his own in combat. She had been his world. His other half. Despite their rather rocky start during the early stages of the SAO incident they had come to love each other and even beat the game together. He had risked it all to save her from a deranged man with disillusions of Grandeur. She had departed the Mortal world or IRL some odd 20 years ago. He looked her over Asuna has long, orange-brownish chestnut hair and hazel eyes her body was that with long legs and a slender body, she wore a red and white uniform with thigh-high white high-heeled boots with red highlights and a long white sleeveless jacket. On her back was a pair of translucent blue wings. On her side was a rapier with a blue floating ring around it. Honestly Kirito was rather proud of her. He had spent nearly 1000 dollars on just her creation alone. He gave her every memeory he could think off in her back story and hoped it was enough. She was also a master of both Water and lightning Magic. This earned her moniker of Lighting Flash Asuna.

Overseer of the Keeps intelligence network Yui on the other hand was an AI that was originally created for the purpose of monitoring the emotions of the people who had been trapped in the SAO incident but was deemed 'unnecessary' by the cardinal system. She eventually broke away from the system and fell into Asuna and Kirito's arms. Over the next 3 years over the course of many adventures, she became their child in soul and name taking their married name Kirigaya Yui. But as time passed and the old FullDive system became Absolute so too did Yui as she was slowly falling behind. After 10 Active years, she just couldn't keep up anymore and was laid to rest in the cabin that she loved so much. Kirito was able to save her core matrix and installed it inside of this NPC and while he knew that she was in there... he didn't know how much of her was in there. Yui had long, dark hair and bright black eyes, but that wasn't all. She also had the body of a young Adult. Almost remembering Suguha's own former Avatar Leafa in 'size'. It was pretty funny considering how often she would stay in Suguha's boobs during the days they went to rescue Asuna. She wore a long, light-pink tube top dress with detached sleeves, pink anklets, and a blue flower in her hair. Despite how cute it use to look on her, it was criminally sexy now. It was almost a shame that her brains as an AI were more than a match for her looks.
