Yuuko sat at Takumi's bedside with a small bowl of fruit. "Yuuko, I'm fine, really."

"Don't give me that Takumi." Yuuko practically shoved the spoon in his mouth. "You won't get your strength back if you're not eating properly."

After swallowing Takumi faintly chuckled. "Heh. This reminds me of when Ami and I were in rehab. You guys were looking out for us all the time. Even Yuugo despite still recovering himself."

Yuuko smiled gently at him. "Brother was never one to sit around while others worked. He can be stubborn like that. Very much like you."

Takumi chuckled. "I'll take that as a compliment. But on a serious note, I'm grateful. I know I've been a burden to you guys sometimes."

Yuuko smiled as she gave Takumi water from another bowl. "I don't mind. Looking back, I've kind of been a burden to you too. But you taught me that that's why friends need to work side by side. Because whether we want to admit it or not, there are times when we need someone to lean on."

"Thanks, Yuuko."

"So how are you feeling?"

"Sore, but the pain's getting better."

"Let's see." Yuuko moved the bedsheets off of Takumi and looked at his bandages. She gently put a hand on them. "Does it hurt if I touch it?"

Takumi's face turned a bit red as Yuuko started staring and touching at his bare chest. "Umm…"

"Takumi?" She looked at him. "What's wrong?"

Takumi stared at her uncomfortably. "I…I'm fine, it's just…"

"Are you sure? What about your sides, Socerimon said your injuries were worse there." Her fingers brushed Takumi's left side under his ribs.

"ACK!" Takumi made an embarrassingly high pitch yelp and covered himself.

"Takumi, what's wrong?! Did that hurt?!" Yuuko stood up to leave. "Hold on, I'll get Socerimon!"

"N-no, it's fine!" Takumi said. "I was just…surprised."

Yuuko looked at him. "That's all? Are you sure?"

"Yeah…" Takumi really didn't want Yuuko to find out that he was secretly ticklish.

"Well…If you're certain." Yuuko sat back down and brought more fruit to his mouth. "Here. Open up." As she continued to spoon-feed Takumi she looked at the fruit. "The food in the Digital World is substantial, but it gets a tad bland after a while."

"Yeah." Takumi replied. "But at least it can keep us going. Hey, remember that time during the Digital Shift, you, Ami, Nokia and I ate out with our Digimon? That was fun."

Yuuko nodded happily. "I would defiantly love to do that again sometime. There are many places I'd like to try with you."

"That sounds nice. By the way, have you ever tried cooking yourself?"

"Well…I've never really been much of a cook."

"Want me to try teaching you sometime? Ami and I cook for ourselves all the time."

"Well, that was a very good stew you made last time… But I'm sure you're already plenty busy with both school and your job."

Takumi smiled. "I can clear some time off my schedule."

Yuuko smiled back. "Well…I'll think about it. Thank you." Once Takumi finished eating the rest of the food Yuuko had him lie back down and pulled the covers back over him. "Try to get some rest."

"I hear you. Oh, sorry to put this on you, but can you go see how my Digimon are doing? They said they were going to train on their own."

"Of course." Yuuko stood up. "I do plan on seeing what this base has to offer after all. I'll come back to check on you in a bit. Now get some rest."

"Uh, thanks..." Takumi watched her leave. "Yuuko can be a little overbearing sometimes. But it's nice to see how much she's opened up to people." Takumi smiled and closed his eyes. "She deserves that kind of freedom and joy after everything she's been through."

Inside the chasm Takumi and Yuuko were in prior, Kinkakumon stood between two Ogremon. Behind her was a massive silver Digimon with a cape, a horn and a glass capsule of some sort for a torso. They watched Brother Sorrow working with his Digivice. BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon stood nearby. "When we contacted the Next Order to tell them we found humans, I didn't think they would send us one."

"Who the Next Order chooses to enlist is isn't something an outsider should concern themselves with." CresGarurumon scoffed.

The giant glared. "What was that? Speak that way to Kinkakumon again, and I'll-

"Ginkakumon, enough." Kinkakumon ordered.

"Erk! Yes sister…"

Brother Sorrow closed his Digivice. "Did you find anything?" BlitzGreymon asked.

"Sure did. As I expected, they used a Home Gate to escape. I was able to follow the traces and I believe I pinpointed where they went." He turned to Kinkakumon. "And you're certain that was a Royal Knight with them?"

"Of course, I am. His overwhelming power…there's no mistaking that!"

"If so, that may very well be a Resistance hideout they went to. How long ago was this?"

"Maybe 3 hours? Something like that."

"I see."

"So, what do we do now?" CresGarurumon asked.

"We must report this to the king. Thank you for the information, Kinkakumon."

"Hold on a minute!" Kinkakumon growled. "I want revenge on that knight for humiliating me!"

"Oh please, if he did humiliate you three hours ago, what makes you think you stand a chance against him now?" BlitzGreymon asked.

"I wasn't expecting a Royal Knight to show up! This time I'll be ready! Anyone who trespasses in my terrain must answer to me!"

"And this time I'm fighting with her!" Ginkakumon added. "With our strength combined, we will be unstoppable! I'll make him cry for upsetting my big sister! This is personal and a family matter!"

Brother Sorrow looked at them. "…I see. One moment." He put his Digivice to his ear. "This is Brother Sorrow. I'm with Kinkakumon right now. Yes, sire, I managed to trace the Home Gate and found what is likely a Resistance HQ. How would you like me to proceed? …Understood. Yes? You mean the Lab Director's project? Very well. I have no objections. There is one thing though. Kinkakumon and her brother are insisting that they also take part of this search. …I see. Thank you sire. Yes, I'll contact you when I reach their headquarters." He then hung up.

"What are our orders?" CresGarurumon asked.

"The king is sending me coordinates for a search party. We are going to join them and investigate the warp location."

"Investigate?" Kinkakumon asked.

"We do not know for certain if this is a Resistance hideout they fled to or if this is some sort of trap. Once we confirm it, we will report back to the king and plan our assault."

"Investigation, assault, call it whatever, we're going to!" Ginkakumon asked.

"The king left that decision to me." Brother Sorrow said. He looked at the siblings and their troops. "I don't mind the additional troops. So, I'll let you tag along…" He held up two fingers. "Under two conditions."

"And those are?" Kinkakumon asked.

Brother Sorrow held up one finger. "First, this is a Next Order operation. So, all of you will be expected to follow my orders to the letter."

"Tch! Sounds annoying…But I suppose I can bear with that for a little bit. And the other?"

He held up a second finger. "Second, these humans you spotted…you mention one of them to be a girl with fair skin and long black hair?"

"Yes, that's right."

"None of you under any circumstances, are to so much as lay a finger on that one."

"Why? Is she a friend of yours or something?" Ginkakumon asked.

"That one is my quarry." Brother Sorrow said in a threatening tone. "And if anyone were to take that from me, I would personally make them suffer for it."

The way he said it sent shivers up Kinkakumon and Ginkakumon's spines, but they played it cool. "So be it." Kinkakumon said. "I have a score to settle with Jesmon. I don't care about the humans or anyone else."

Yuuko walked towards a metal door. It opened automatically and she stepped inside. Within the room Rapidmon Armor and Takumi's other Digimon were looking through a glass screen. The Armor Digimon took notice of her. "Oh, Yuuko. How's Takumi doing?"

"He just got some food and is resting now. I thought you three were training here."

"We are, we're just taking a breather so the others can use the training room for a bit." Dorugoramon replied. "Some of Zaxon's prized warriors are sparing right now."

"Prized warriors?"

Yuuko looked through the glass. She could see massive arena below them with ten Digimon fighting. Among them was small white bear Digimon with green boots vest and headgear holding what appeared to be a green missile launcher only it fired snowballs. "Blizzard Blaster!"

In the room with him was a white and brown wooden Digimon with yellow glowing eyes and sharp teeth. He rolled out of the way and aimed his fist at his foe. "Roundhouse Punt!" He fired his forearm while connected to a cable. The bear slid away on skis and continued to fire. The puppet Digimon pulled his arm back and jumped away. "Hmph. You'll have to be faster than that boy."

"I can manage that!" the small bear grinned.

Elsewhere in room blue humanoid beetle stood in front of a short Digimon with a red hat blue armor, a big noise and hammer. "Thunder Fist!" The beetle jumped up clasping his hands together and swinging down. His opponent burrowed underground to avoid the electrified slam and rose up behind him.

"Got you! Jack in the Box!" He swung his hammer down but the beetle blocked it with his horn.

"Now who's got who? Lightning Blitz!" He sent the opponent flying with electricity.

Also in the room was a huminoid Digimon with fairy wings, a visor, silver gauntlets and rather skimpy garments that left a lot of skin exposed that were connected to long pink boots. She had purple hair and green stripes on her face. She charged towards a Digimon with blue skin, red eyes, a helm with antenna, a one-piece swimsuit, vambraces and blue anklets. The pink one did a cartwheel and flung herself into the air flying at her opponent ready to drop kick. "Astato Vespa!"

"Whipping Wave!" The blue one summoned a pillar of water. The flying one stopped herself just before she could crash into it and backed up. It died down and she saw her target was gone.

"What? Where did- EEEEEK!" The fairy-like Digimon shrieked as ice cold water squirted onto her bare back and she dropped to the floor. She looked behind her to see the opponent snickering with her hands held together pointing like a water pistol that shot the water from her index fingers. "Why did you have to make that so cold!?" The Digimon faced her enemy after getting over the shock. "You could have hit me with an actual attack from behind if you wanted, you're messing with me, aren't you?"

The blue Digimon grinned. "50% messing with you, 50% trying to get your wings wet so you can't fly."

The pink Digimon looked at her wings and tried to flap them, but they were too soggy to get her off the ground. She grinned back at her opponent. "Oh, very sneaky. Well, I'll just have to beat you on the ground then! Hurricane Wave!" Her gauntlets shot twin gusts.

Yuuko watched the Digimon train. She then looked towards the center of the arena. Four Digimon were facing off in teams of two. On one side was a Digimon with green armor with a point on top. His face was a mirror with lips. He had another mirror on his stomach and wielded two mirror shields. Next to him was a Digimon in jet black armor with some gold. His chest plate and kneepads were lion headss with red eyes. In one hand he held a giant lance with three points around a bigger one in the center and in the other held a black shield with red eyes. His helmet concealed almost his whole face, but his eyes could be seen. On the other side there was a Digimon with green eyes, long, spikey blond hair in a black body suit and red armor. He had a mask with three horns and on his gauntlets were two silver pads with three holes each emitting fire. Next to him was a Digimon in white and blue armor with a white long scarf with blue stripes, blond hair, and a helmet with pointy ears. Seeing the two of the four made Yuuko gasp. "Those two…"

The black Digimon got into a fighting stance. "Do not hold back brother!"

From his gauntlets the blue one pulled out two metal handles that each extended blue blades of light. "Likewise."

The red one pounded his fists together and flames formed around his hands. "Pyro Punch!" He threw fireballs from his hands at the green one.

"Dark Reflection!" The green Digimon absorbed the attack into one of his mirror shields and fired it out of the other. The red one batted the reflected attack away and jumped at his foe. The green one blocked the kick with his shield and the red one jumped off it then threw a flurry of punches, showing his incredible martial art skills. The green one could do nothing but block.

The blue on and black one charged at each other. "Zwie Sieger!"

"Shadow Lance!" Their weapons collided sending sparks into the air. They locked for a bit before the black one pushed his foe black and thrusted his lance at him.

The blue one backed away and parried more lance thrusts before jumping back and aiming one of his gauntlets. "Howling Laser!" The black one blocked an energy blast with his shield then charged again.

"Those guys are all skilled warriors." Rapidmon Armor said. "Apparently they've been making names for themselves here in Zaxon's Pride."

The door opened behind them. "They are called the Ten Legendary Warriors."

Yuuko turned around and was surprised with who she saw. A TigerVespamon, a Sakuyamon, and a Phoenixmon. "You're…!"

"Surprised?" Dorugoramon smirked. "It's Fei's Digimon. All here in Zaxon's Pride with their memories of your world intact."

TigerVespamon bowed. "Yuuko Kamishiro. It is good to see you again."

"Yes, you too." Yuuko smiled. "This brings back memories."

"Zero brought us all together and restored our memories of the past incident. That includes our memoires of you and Fei." Sakuyamon replied. "Ever since we have been helping him fight the Next Order."

"I noticed there were a lot of Digimon previously owned by Zaxon Hackers in this base. Though not all of them seem to remember." Yuuko then looked through the glass. "By the way…Those two Digimon down there…are they-

"Yes, it's exactly what you think." Phoenixmon replied. "But they don't remember the human world."

"I see…" Yuuko looked down. "Maybe that's for the best…"

"Yes. Zero believes so too." TigerVespamon replied.

"You know those guys down there?" BlackWarGreymon asked.

"I know two of them." Yuuko replied. "But please don't say anything to them. Trust me, it's for the best they don't remember what happened to them in EDEN."

Rapidmon nodded. "If you insist." They then all looked back at the ten sparing inside.

"Grand Rock!"

The white bear Digimon jumped over a stalagmite rising from the ground. "Tsurara Fall!" He turned into an icicle and dropped towards the puppet Digimon who jumped back. The white bear reformed and breathed ice. "Crystal Breeze!" The puppet's lower body froze to the ground. He grunted as the ice climbed up his body. He threw a punch making his foe back away before breaking free of the ice.

The beetle blocked multiple strikes from the gnome's hammer. "Nanomachine Break!" He threw an electrified punch.

The gnome jumped over the attack and slammed overhead. "Seismic Sledge!" He slammed the opponent overhead knocking him face first into the ground. "Giving up yet?"

The beetle got up. "Dream on!" He charged at the smaller Digimon and grabbed his hammer before throwing him to the ceiling. As he crashed and came down the beetle jumped at him. "Megaton Punch!"

The fairy Digimon ran up while dodging whirlpools and threw a flurry of kicks at the blue one. "Roseo Temporle!"

The opponent blocked most of the kicks, but a flip kick caught her off guard and knocked her over. She flipped back onto her feet as her opponent ran at her unaware of the puddle forming behind her. The blue one smirked and tackled her foe into it and they somehow sunk into the seemingly shallow water. They rose up for a bit with the blue one holding the fairy in a lock as she failed her legs splashing water about before she was dragged back under. The puddle rose up as a torrent of water. The blue Digimon still had the pink one in a armlock with both of them knee high in the strong torrent. "Got ya now! You can't move your arms or legs! What'chya gonna do now?"

The fairy like Digimon struggled but her legs were trapped in the water and despite being smaller her opponent had her arms in a strong hold. "How about this?!" She then pulled her hips forward and then slammed them into the blue Digimon making her yelp and loosen her grip. The fairy ripped her arms free and held up a wind orb. "Sonic Void!" She threw it into the water and the tower exploded in a blast of wind. The blue Digimon screamed as she fell landing face first on the floor and the pink one landed much more gracefully on her feet.

Meanwhile the wolf-like Digimon was still dueling the black one. He franticly blocked swipe and thrust of the lance with his beam swords but as the black one roared, he swung the lance so hard one of the wolfs weapons was knocked out of his hand. He then slammed his shield into his face. The wolf rolled across the ground. He looked up to see the black armor Digimon charge at him and threw his other sword. The shield was knocked out of his hand, but he kept going. The blue warrior dodged the lance and grabbed it before kneeing his opponent. He slid back before crossing his arms and firing a black ray from his chest. "Shadow Meteor!"

The wolf gathered energy from his left wrist and fired. "Howling Laser!" Attacks of light and darkness clashed shaking the room.

"Pyro Darts!" The red one held up one hand and his wrist glowed with flames, and he used the other hand to throw fiery arrows at the mirror Digimon.

The mirror Digimon blocked it and held a hand forward. "Shining Laser!" He fire a beam from his palm.

The fire Digimon dodged in and then started spinning. "Pyro Tornado!" He spun faster and became a cyclone of fire that blew towards the opponent who held up his shield but was hit in the gut with a kick and sent flying. While he was on the ground the fire Digimon pounced with his hand on fire and stopped his fist inches from his opponent's face. "Yield!"

The green Digimon collapsed onto the ground. "Blast... it seems brain lost to brawn this day."

The red Digimon straightened up. He heard a clang and turned around. His partner was on the ground with the black Digimon pointing his lance at his head. "It seems I have won brother."

The wolf Digimon growled. "Damn it... I swear I'll beat you some day!"

The red Digimon cracked his knuckles and approached. "So, it's you and me now."

The black Digimon pointed his lance at him. "Whenever you're ready."

The pink Digimon hip checked her opponent knocking her down. She then did a handstand and then spread her legs before spinning in place. "Tempest Twist!" She spun faster and faster like a top while moving towards her opponent.

The blue Digimon got up and looked behind her where the puppet and the bear were still fighting. The wood Digimon picked his opponent up and threw him across the room. "Blockade Seed!" He shot a large seed from his mouth.

"Gah!" The bear braced himself, but a bubble flew between them and caught the attack. "Huh?"

"What the?" The puppet watched as the bubble flew into the blue Digimon's hands.

"Borrowing this, thanks big guy, you're a sweetheart!" she winked before turning to the fairy Digimon who was spinning towards her like a whirlwind. She tossed the bubbled seed up and slapped it like a beachball and it flew right into her target.

"Gah!" The fairy Digimon stopped as the bubble popped, and the seed impacted into her. It burst open and sprayed ivy at her. She shrieked as it started to tangle around her body forcing her hands together on the floor. Some vines wrapped around her torso and hips, and she soon found them wrapping around legs like snakes pinning them together and pointing them straight up. She found herself insnared in the vines and unable to move while forced to keep up her handstand. Her arms and legs were pulled taut like a bowstring. "Hey!" She strained against the vines binding her, but they were too strong. "No fair! You used an attack from someone in another fight!"

"Sorry old friend but all's fair in love and war!" The blue Digimon crouched in front of her with a cheeky grin. "So, you wanna throw in the towel?"

"Yeah right, you know I don't call it quits that easy!"

"Oh goody! I was hoping you'd say that!" The blue Digimon snapped her fingers.

The red Digimon was panting heavily while the black one held his lance in two hands. The fire warrior roared as his gloves burned with flames and charged. The enemy rushed at him as well. But just when they were about to strike each other, everyone heard a shriek and looked at the pink Digimon. Still tied up in roots she was surrounding by floating hands holding feathers that brushed multiple areas of her body. The blue Digimon grinned as she held a feather in her own hand and flicked it at her exposed navel. It was bad enough that the position she was bound in exposed her armpits, but her skimpy clothing left so much skin exposed for her tormentor to abuse. Her thighs, her back, her, belly, her forearms and bellow her upper chest. She was bursting in laughter. "STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IHEHEHEHET!"

"Say uncle and I'll consider it~." the water Digimon teased.

"NEHEHEHEHEHEHEVEHEHEHER!" the fairy laughed trying to squirm away.

"Aw, that's too bad! I guess I'll have to keep tickling you then! Coochie-coochie coo! Who's a ticklish wittle faiwy?"

Everyone else in the room just started. The red Digimon facepalmed with a sigh. The small white bear shuddered grateful that it wasn't him in that position. The black one rolled his eyes. "Very mature."

The beetle groaned. "I know this is just practice, but can't they take it a bit more seriously?"

The gnome shrugged. "Well, you know that girl enjoys her pranks. Especially with her "bestie" over there."

Yuuko watched not sure how to process this. "That is a… unusual tactic…"

TigerVespamon sighed then pressed a button activating a speaker in the room. "If you lot are done horsing around, there is someone I'd like you all to meet."

They all looked up at the glass. "Commander." The red one turned to his peers. "Come on guys, we should see what this is about." He walked over to the Digimon in blue armor and helped him off the floor. The black one did the same for the mirror Digimon.

As they all walked out the blue female groaned. "Oh, come on! Right at the best part?" She dispelled the floating hands, and her victim was panting heavily with a smile stuck on her face. She smirked at her and gave her belly button a teasing poke making her shriek. "We'll get back to this later."

"Ha…ha…ha…I'll…remember this…ah…"

The wolf-armor Digimon used his beam swords to slice apart the vines and the fairy tipped over onto her front. "Let's go you two."

"We're coming, keep your scarf on wolf boy." the blue Digimon hoisted her panting, exhausted friend up with an arm over her shoulders and helped her walk towards the door.

Yuuko stood face-to-face with the ten warriors. "One of your top squads you say?"

"That's right." TigerVespamon said before turning to the ten. "Everyone, this is Yuuko Kamishiro of the human world."

"Wow! So, this is a human!" the bear said. "Cool!"

The mirror Digimon bowed. "Greetings noble human. We are humbled by your presence."

"Always the formal one." the blue girl rolled her eyes. "You'll just make her feel awkward like that, she's working with us, so let's just treat her like one of us."

"Ah, this must be one of the humans Jesmon picked up." the gnome said. "I heard there were two of you."

"Takumi was injured protecting me." Yuuko replied shamefully. "We fell down a cliff and he softened my fall."

"Yikes, is the poor guy gonna be okay?" the beetle asked.

"Socerimon's patching him up." Sakuyamon replied. "He'll be fine after some bedrest."

The red one approached. "Greetings Yuuko. My name is Agunimon, warrior of flame." He held a fist in his palm and bowed. "I lead our group, the Ten Legendary Warriors."

Yuuko bowed. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

"The pleasure is all mine. Allow me to introduce my brothers and sisters in arms." Agunimon turned to the blue Digimon with blond hair next to him. "This is Lobomon, warrior of light. A brave fighter who stands up for his friends."

Lobomon nodded. "Welcome to Zaxon's Pride. Let me know if you need support with anything."

Agunimon turned to the white bear. "This is Kumamon, warrior of ice. He may be the youngest of us, but he has the enthusiasm and energy to match ten Digimon."

Kumamon smiled and held up two fingers. "Heya! How's it goin'?"

Agunimon turned to the beetle. "The big guy here is Beetlemon, warrior of thunder. He's the kind of guy you always want backing you in a fight."

Beetlemon gave a two finger wave. "You need any heavy lifting done, I'm your mon!"

Agunimon looked at the pink one. "This young lady is Kazemon, warrior of wind. She's the most cheerful one in the group, and always steps in if someone's spirits need to be raised."

Kazemon smiled and waved. "Nice to meet you Yuuko! I hope we get a chance to get to know each other!"

Agunimon pointed at the short gnome. "This is Grumblemon, warrior of earth. He's a jolly old man who's always eager to take action."

Grumblemon laughed. "Aye, that'd be me! If work needs done, I'll get right to it!"

Agunimon looked at the puppet. "Back there is Arbormon, warrior of wood. He may not be much for conversation, but he's a good soul."

Arboromon folded his arms. "Hmph."

Agunimon pointed to the mirror Digimon. "The one with the shields is Mercurymon, warrior of metal. He's the brains of our group. Always interested in learning new things."

Mercurymon bowed. "I do hope you can share me stories of the human world sometime."

Agunimon pointed at the blue female. "The girl in blue is Ranamon, warrior of water. She's a bit mischievous and quirky, but she comes around when it matters. She's also close friends with Kazemon."

Ranamon winked. "Charmed. You Kazemon and I should get together for some girl-talk sometime."

Agunimon then looked at the black one. "And finally, this guy is Loweemon, warrior of darkness. He may be rough around the edges, but he's easily our most skilled fighter. He's also Lobomon's older brother."

Loweemon was as still as a statue. "I have nothing in particular to say."

"It's nice to meet all of you." Yuuko smiled. "You seem like a lively bunch."

"They all do indeed share a strong bond." Phoenixmon nodded. "That's part of why they are one of our most effective units. Despite their quirks, their teamwork is unrivaled."

TigerVespamon looked at them. "As you already know, Zaxon's Pride was named after a group of humans who worked with Digimon named Zaxon. Yuuko was the founder of that team."

"I see." Mercerymon nodded. "So, you're the human partnered with Captain Samudramon."

"That sounds awesome!" Kumamon gleamed.

"Whoa, really?" Beetlemon asked. "You must be tougher than you look!"

"Now I'm really glad this girl is on our side!" Kazemon smiled.

Yuuko shook her head. "I…I'm not sure I deserve such praise. My actions in Zaxon were all part of a rouse made by someone who sought to manipulate me. I've done things I'm not too proud of…"

TigerVespamon shook her head. "You shouldn't talk like that Yuuko. After all, if it weren't for you, the three of us would never have meet Fei. Our time may have been brief, but I will treasure the memories Zero restored."

Yuuko smiled. "You're right. Thank you. Fei wouldn't want to see me acting like this either."

"Speaking of which, how is Fei? I imagine she may have been forced to forget about us, but I hope she's doing well."

Yuuko silently looked away uncomfortably. "…About Fei…She's-

The door opened and Samudramon came in. "There you are Yuuko."

Everyone turned to him. "Samudramon? Is something wrong?" Yuuko asked.

"Zero says it's time you two finally met face to face."

"The leader of Zaxon's Pride?"

"Wow, aren't you a lucky lass!" Grumblemon said. "The boss is pretty cagy about his identity, not just anyone gets invited to meet him!"

"Then I guess I shouldn't keep him waiting." Yuuko said before turning to the legendary warriors. "It was nice meeting you."

Agunimon nodded. "Same to you. Here's to our partnership against the Next Order."

"Likewise." Yuuko turned to Fei's Digimon. "I look forward to fighting alongside you again as well."

TigerVespamon nodded. "As do we."

"You go on ahead." Rapidmon Armor said. "The three of us will wrap up our training and check up on Takumi for you."

"Thank you." Yuuko tough to herself as she left the training room. "Agunimon and Lobomon in Zaxon…I wonder if it's fate at work."

Hudiemon was with Bokomon, Starmon and a few other Digimon working with Keisuke, and Mameo on the damaged teleporter. "Anything?" Himari asked.

"We're working on it." Mameo replied. "Just be a little patient."

"Hopefully the hard drives aren't too badly damaged, or we may be out of luck." Bokomon said.

Keisuke was working with a blue screen in front of him. He gasped. "Wait! I think I got something…Yes! It looks like the logs are still here!"

"Good work." Mameo said. "Look for the newest one. That will be where K and Takuto vanished to."

Keisuke scrolled down the list until he hit the bottom. "The last entry is…Backlog Mire."

Hudiemon looked at him in surprise. "Backlog Mire? Why would K lure Takuto there?"

"Don't ask me, I don't even know what that is. Or even where it is."

"It's to the north of here." PileVolcamon said. "But it's just a backwater place in the middle of nowhere. Nothing special about it."

"If that's where Takuto went, it's where I'm going!" Himari said.

"Me too!" Kouta added.

"I'll go too." Shoma said.

"Count me in as well." Mameo said.

"Take UlforceVeedramon and Magnamon with you." Hudiemon said. "If this is a trap, you'll be in for a hard time. UlforceVeedramon should know the way to Backlog Mire. Pull out as soon as you find Takuto, don't do anything risky."

"We know." Himari said. "Come on, let's get going!" She left with her friends.

Just as they exited the room Yuugo and Arata came in. "Good news!" Yuugo said. "Thanks to the technicians we were able to use a radar in the city to locate Yuuko and Takumi's Digivices!"

"Thank god!" Keisuke gleamed. "Where are they?"

Arata pulled up a screen. "Here." He pointed to a spot on the map.

"It looks like it's near Code Canyon." Bokomon said.

"It's weird though. Look how far off it is from where we left them. Maybe they were brought there?"

"But by friend or by foe?" Starmon asked.

"Code Canyon…" Hudiemon put a finger on her chin. "My sources tell me that members of Zaxon's Pride were sighted there. Perhaps one of their members found them and brough them there to hide?"

"Whatever the case, we should go." HiAndromon said. "Darcmon hasn't returned yet. She might be with them."

"Agreed." Hudiemon nodded. "Keisuke, you and I are going after them. I was planning on inviting all the other Resistance teams here, this is a good opportunity to bring Zaxon's Pride over. Yuugo, Justimon and Shakkoumon will join us. Arata, I want you to hold down the fort here with Nokia and the others."

Arata folded his arms. "Don't worry about a thing here. You just find those two and bring them back in one piece, you hear?"

Keisuke nodded. "Leave it to us. If all goes well, we'll have Takumi, Yuuko, and Takuto back here in no time! Then we can focus on finding Ami and Shiki!"

Samudramon led Yuuko to a large wall in the very back of the underground base. "He's just in here." Samudramon said and approached. He stood in front of the door in awkward silence.

Yuuko looked at him. "Is something wrong?"

Samudramon sighed before he looked at her. "I should warn you…Zero's true identity will come as a shock to you."

"I appreciate your concern. Nevertheless, I feel I should meet them. Whoever the Digimon brought all of you together is, I feel I am in their debt."

"Who said he was a Digimon? And you've already met."

"What?"

Samudramon knocked on the door. "It's me. I brought Yuuko."

After a few moments, the heavy doors opened and they saw Gankoomon, who was walking with a cane. He looked at the girl. "Yuuko Kamishiro."

"Gankoomon." Yuuko replied. "I heard about your injuries from your battle with that masked man. Are you alright?"

"It pains me to say it but as I am now, I am unable to join you in battle. So, I am doing what I can to help Zazon's Leader keep our teams together and plan our operations. Come. He is in the back." After Samudramon and Yuuko came in Gankoomon closed the doors behind them. A tall staircase was before them. Gankoomon led them up. "After our failed assault, the masked human traced us to our base. We should have known there was a reason he didn't try to stop me and Jesmon from escaping. After we barely escaped, we were adrift until we ran into Machinedramon and he led us here. The leader was more than kind to us. I was surprised when I met him at first, but he is an honorable man. I owe him a good deal."

Once they reached the top there were greeted by another door. They opened it and walked in. Inside there was a Machinedramon standing next to someone in front of a computer in the shadows. "Machinedramon…" Yuuko murmured.

The Digimon turned to her. "So, you've come."

The man turned around. "…It's been a long time…Yuuko."

Yuuko gasped as she heard that voice. She couldn't believe it at first. But when the young man stepped out and she saw his white coat hair and eyes, her suspicions were confirmed doubling her shock. "You're…!"

Surprise. Zaxion's Yuugo returns. And yeah, we got the Ten Legendary Warriors so more frontiers references, I just love the design of these guys. But I decided to make their personalities different from what they were in Frontiers. Anyway, find out next week what Takuto is up to and Zero's plans for the new Zaxon.
