Seth Lowell was feeling good today.

Actually, he was feeling great!

Most of the PubSec officers in the precinct were still chuckling at him for the Mountain Lion bust, just like yesterday. But today, Seth honestly and truly didn't care.

So: Seth was the only one who didn't know Jane Doe was an undercover agent.

So: Seth was the only one out of the loop and tried to convert her.

Well… so what?

This morning, Seth knew something that they didn't know: he knew what it felt like to be inside Jane Doe as she came in his lap. And that memory from last night was keeping him in rather good spirits this morning. A small smile never managed to quite leave his face.

"Hey, Officer Lowell," said a passing male officer. "Try to catch actually-bad guys today, okay?"

"Haha, good advice, sir!" said Seth cheerfully as he walked past in the opposite direction.

Meanwhile, Seth's mind's eye was remembering the sweaty press of Jane's forehead against his, her breath hot in his face, the sound of her breathing as she came, the twitching of her hips against his body, the muscular pulses of her ecstasy up and down his own stiff length.

"I'll try to catch all the real bad guys!" said Seth, a sheepish grin plastered to his face.

He was heading for the copy room, his arms full of reports for the Mountain Lion bust. Captain Zhu Yuan had asked Qingyi to see to the final paperwork, and so, Qingyi had immediately delegated the task another rung down to Seth. Such was the life of the rookie.

He walked down the dingy hallway far in the back of the precinct. Digital information was the functioning standard in all aspects of life and government- but some aspects of PubSec retained ancient traditions- and one of them was the filing of redundant physical copies of all case work. A lot of data was lost back in Hollowfall and before that, in the fall of the old civilization- so PubSec never wanted to find itself unable to justify the incarceration of all its collars in the event of another total computer apocalypse. Oh no! PubSec would dig into their caves of knowledge and pull out endless reams of documents. Count on it!

And all those troves of paper information were created by rookies like Seth, in every PubSec department in New Eridu, trudging their way to some antiquated machine to copy paper onto paper and file it away, likely never ever to be looked at again- until perhaps some college student a hundred years from now came sniffing around for primary sources for their crim-sci thesis.

Seth opened the copy room door.

Jane Doe sat atop the copy machine, her legs spread wide open to reveal how her tight shorts hugged closely to the topography of her body. She was smiling slyly. Her small half-coat was on the back of a nearby chair. Her breasts looked nearly to burst their way out of the nylon-netted undershirt.

"Hello, Seth," said Jane.

Seth's heart leapt into his throat and his cock almost immediately went to three-quarters chub. "J- jane! Good morning! Don't uh- usually see you around the precinct at this time of day."

Jane smiled with amusement, stretching her back slightly, accentuating the curve of her waist towards her midriff. "And nobody else will, either. You know? This old room doesn't have any cameras?"

Seth's excitement transformed suddenly into icy concern. "It doesn't? That's a rather glaring security flaw!"

He was vaguely aware of Jane's eyes going slightly wide at him, but Seth was distracted by his own chain of logic. "...If any of these copied reports become an issue in a case, there could potentially be a chain-of-custody concern if there were allegations of report tampering… I should report this to the armory and have cameras installed on the-"

"Seth!" said Jane.

Seth looked back at Jane to see her in a new pose, she was leaning back against the wall, her hands slowly unzipping the front of her shorts. "Come here, Seth… I want you to-"

"No, Jane," said Seth immediately. "'Banana gumdrops'. I'm at work. I won't do this here."

Jane froze, her eyes going wide in shock and surprise. She blinked, and after a second, she re-secured her pants and hopped off the copy machine. Her body bounced pleasantly as she landed, but her facial expression made her seem entirely off balance, as if her entire world wasn't quite working like she'd expected it to.

Seth felt mildly worried for her. "Perhaps I can spare some… extra attention after I get off shift tonight? To compensate for the delay?"

Jane's stunned expression slowly thawed into a small smile. She walked towards him, hips swaying in the way that commanded attention from everyone. As she passed him, a hand went gently up Seth's arm, and he felt her breath hot in his ear.

"You'll pay for this tonight…"

And she was gone.

Seth shivered, his tail bushing out slightly. Jane seemed like the type to punish defiance…

As he loaded the copy machine, he looked up at the dinghy clock on the wall. How many hours left till he was off work?

He couldn't wait!
