Diana, Sue and Nancy are having a good game. They are beating the Poor Kids' team as a matter of fact. The score is 3 to 2 of course. The currently on the top of the ninth inning by the way. They just need one more out to win the game. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will win defeat the Poor Kids' team.
"It's been a good game, Di." said Sue.
"It sure is, girls." said Diana. "In fact, we are beating the Poor Kids' team."
"What is the score, Di?" Nancy asked.
"The score is 3 to 2." said Diana. "We are currently on the top of the ninth inning."
"I know, Di." said Sue. "We just need one more out to win the game."
"Yes, we do." said Diana. "Let's go get the last out."
Diana and her friends went to go back to the field.
"I hope that we can strike this poor kid out." said Diana.
She throws a pitch, and a poor kid misses a swing.
"That is his first strike." said Diana. "Two more and he is out."
She throws a pitch again, and a poor kid misses again.
"Strike two." said Diana. "This is for the win."
She throws a pitch, and a poor kid gets a third strike.
"You're out, young man!" shout the umpire.
"We did it again, girls." said Diana.
"That was a tight match." said Sue. "Here they come now."
The Poor Kids' team went to go congratulate Diana and her friends.
"Great game, girls." said one of the poor players.
"Same to you." said Diana. "We can have a rematch one day."
"I hope so." said one of the poor players.
They saw the bus arriving at the stadium.
"The bus is here." said one of the poor players. "We better get going."
"Thank you for coming over." said Sue.
"No problem, girls." said one of the poor players. "See you later."
"Bye." said Diana.
