AN: Here's to second chapter!. Also just to remind you since this is based on the actual game of Persona 3 Reload I'll try my best to match the gameplay that I went through when I was playing the game mystery . But at the same time keeping it simple since this is my version of Fairy Tail .

The earlier morning has arrived and Natsu is already awake up and early. Even though he hates getting up this soon he knew he had to because today happens to be his first day at his new school.
Not exactly one of the things he's looking forward to the most. "Ugh, remind me why I agree to go to a public school instead of my regular homeschool like I did back at the orphanage?". He complained as he finished putting his usual clothes on. Luckily his new school allowed him to dress however he wants instead of a dress code like other schools he's seen and heard.
"Come on Natsu you know this is what's best for you". Happy said reassuringly trying to get him to open up about the idea they agree on. "And you promise you're going to try to make a effort, plus this way you can make actual friends along the way".
"Friends huh?". Natsu just looked dull when he said as he stared at the window. "I guess that would be nice...Kind of".
As Happy helps puts Natsu's favorite scarf they suddenly heard a knock on the door. "It's Lisanna, are you awake?". Lisanna's voice could be heard from the other side calling out.
Sighing and taking a deep breath Natsu went to the door and puts up his regular fake smile when he saw Lisanna smiling at him at his front door. "Good morning Lisanna". He greeted.
"Morning". Happy greeted smiling.
"Good morning you two. Did you slept well?". Lisanna said friendly as she asked and the two just nodded. "I've been asked to show you the way to school. Are you ready to go?".
"Not really". Natsu said annoyedly as he rolled his eyes. "But not like I have any other choice".
Lisanna just chuckled as she expected that kind of answer. "I don't blame you for that". She said as she can relate. "School's not really my favorite but it beats doing nothing. Let's head out now".
"Aye sir". Happy cried out excitedly as his wings appear and he began to fly.
Unfortunately Lisanna had to stopped him. "Oh sorry Happy but I thought you should know Exceeds are not allowed to go school. It's against the rules no pets allowed". She said regrettingly.
"What!?. But I'm not a pet!". Happy whines feeling offended of being referred as a pet. "I'm Natsu's best friend!".
"It's true". Natsu said agreeing not liking the idea of going without Happy. "Wherever I go he's gone to".
"I'm really sorry but there's nothing I can do about it". Lisanna said sadly wishing she could allowed Happy to come.
Hearing that made Natsu and Happy really disappointed cause this mean they won't be seeing each other when Natsu goes to school. "Sorry buddy". He apologize to his blue exceed friend. "Guess you're just going to wait until I get back".
"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?". Happy asked concerning knowing how troublesome Natsu can get when he's on his own.
Natsu then puts up an actual friendly smiled than his usual fake ones before patting his head. "It's just for a while though. I'll be back before you know it". He said reassuringly with confidence.
Seeing there's no other choice Natsu grabs his school bags before heading out with Lisanna as they both headed out to school.
Leaving Happy alone. That is...Until he gets an idea on his head and smirked. "I think I know just what to do". He whispered to himself letting out a small teasing chuckle. "Natsu won't even know I'm there".

"This is how we'll be getting to school everyday". Lisanna explained to Natsu as they both were ridding on the monorail train heading to their school. "It's a monorail, pretty cool right?".
But Natsu just shrugs. "Eh I guess". He said not sounding impressed. "It's almost the same as when I took the ride here last night".
Lisanna just smile before looking out at river as they're passing through the railing. "I honestly loved the ride here, it's almost like we're flying over the ocean". She said admiring the view from here. "Oh by the way, our school is at the last stop on this line. It's called Tatsumi Port Island. Have you heard about it?, the whole thing's is man-made, and our school's smack-dab in the middle".
'Man this girl talks a lot'. Natsu thought a little annoyed having to hear her talks. 'Obviously I know that since Happy was the one who told me when I was reading the pamphlet. I hope he's doing alright by himself back at the dorm'.
"Oh, look!. There it is". His thoughts were interrupted when Lisanna points to the school which got his attention.
As soon as they arrived Natsu and Lisanna both got off the train and walk their way to the school.
When they did a lot of other students were making their way as well. "Good morning". One of the female student greeted Lisanna when she passed her by.
"Morning". Lisanna greeted back before stopping in front of the school gateway showing the front school to Natsu. "Well here are, allowed me to welcome you to Gekkoukan High School, I hope you like it".
'I already hate it'. Natsu thought in his head before saying it differently out loud.
"I'm sure I will". He said sarcastically although she can tell he's faking it. "Or not".
...
"You'll be okay on your own from here right?". Lisanna asked making sure if he's alright going on his own from here which he just nodded. "Let's see...I guess you should go see your homeroom teacher first. The faculty office is over there on the left, they'll tell you more when you get there".
"Good it". Natsu said understanding where he needs to go from here.
"Well that about does it. Any questions before I go?". She asked checking in one more time to make sure.
"Yeah actually I was just wondering which class are you in?". He asked as he puts his arms around his head. "Don't know how I feel about in a room with total strangers, even If I just met you last night It probably be nice to have a familiar face in there".
Lisanna giggled and smiled. "Yeah I get that, though I'm not sure yet". She answered honestly. "I haven't looked at the classroom assignment yet. But to be honest I hope we'll be in the same class".
Natsu just chuckled which was a bit surprising for him since he usually just faked it. "Yeah I hope". He admitted it.
Suddenly Lisanna looked down at the ground as if she wanted to say something but is too afraid to say it out loud. "Hey um...About speaking of last night". She said awkwardly reminding of what happened when she first met him. "Please don't tell anyone what you saw ok?".
"Saw what?". Natsu just straight up pretend to be stupid and forget what even happen even though he remembers clearly what happened with the whole 'Gun' thing.
Hearing that made Lisanna felt relief to know she doesn't need to worry about that. "See ya". She said her farewell for now she went on ahead leaving Natsu alone.
Once it was just him, he decided to head toward the Faculty office and meet up with his new homeroom teacher even though he really doesn't want to.
"Man talk about a drag". He said groaning. "Normally I have Happy guiding where to go or what to do but now I have to do this whole school stuff on my own".
As Natsu was making his way toward the faculty office he could've sworn he saw Happy flying past from outside the window. "What the?". He gasped in surprise blinking a couple of times before looking outside and saw no one there. "I could've sworn I just saw Happy. But there's no way he's crazy enough to fly over here right?. Guess I'm just not used to not have him around all the time".
Deciding to just shrugs Natsu didn't want to waste anymore time as he made it in front of faculty office. "This must be the faculty office". He said as he knocked first before entering the door to the room.
The moment he walked he noticed the faculty office was empty and no teachers or anyone was around. Probably already went to their own classroom to teach.
"You must be the new student I presume?". A voice caught his attention when he turned around.
He stand corrected when he was approach by a slim and tall elderly woman with pink hair, tied in a bun on the back of her head by two large pins with crescent moon-shaped edges, and with two bangs of hair left framing her face. Reddish eyes, and a beauty mark located below her mouth, on the left side of her face.
Her attire consists of a dark green blouse with a tie around the collar, paired with a long matching skirt and simple shoes. Over this, she sports a crimson-colored cloak, with a wide collar decorated by massive Dragon horn-like decorations protruding outwards, and edges adorned by white, arch-like motifs.

'Whoa for a moment there I could've sworn I'm looking at a counterpart dragon or something'. Natsu thought surprisingly but kept it to himself. 'But why is she looking at me like that?'.
Natsu wasn't wrong the woman was glaring at him like she has some sort of grudge against him or something. And he doesn't even know her.
"I asked you a question boy aren't you going to answer?". The woman said very strictly and almost sounding threatening.
"E-Eh I-I-I no-I mean yes ma'am". He replied a little nervously as he felt a little frightened by the woman's tone. "Sorry ma'am".
The woman just groan while looking at the file she's holding. "Natsu Dragneel, you're a second year correct?". She asked sternly before earning a nod from Natsu. "I see you've lived in a lot of different places. Let's see...7 ago-".
Suddenly the woman's eyes wided in shock when she realize who the boy is from reading the files. It was like she knew and suddenly looked at him with a bit of pity in her eyes. "My apologies". She said with sympathy as she looks at Natsu like she's sorry for him. "I may have a bit of dislike towards humans but that doesn't mean I don't have a heart. I'm Porlyusica, I teach composition. Welcome to our school".
Natsu was a bit surprised to hear the change of heart from the woman known as Porlyusica. And he finds it weird she dislikes human even though she is literally one herself.
However he didn't want to be rude about it so he just kept it to himself. "Nice to meet you then". He said with a bit of enthusiasm even though it's just him faking it.
"Such enthusiasm". Porlyusica said shaking her head and sighed. "Have you seen the classroom assignments?. You're in 2-F. That's my class as much as I hate it".
'Does she have some sort of problem with people or something?'. Natsu thought annoyedly that he couldn't say it out loud. 'I know I do but I don't come off as rude do I?'.
"But first, we need to go to the auditorium. The welcoming ceremony will be starting soon". Porlyusica said finishing whatever she's saying that Natsu didn't seem to listen before. "Come I'll show you the way".
Natsu sighed as he just played along with it. "Fine...". He said in boredom wanting to get over with this immediately.
...
"And so, another new school year is upon us.I'd like each of you to remember the proverb "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well". When applied to students life, this means...".
And so go on with the principal named Yajima who is a short, old man with thick light-brown eyebrows and a small toothbrush mustache that reaches halfway to his mouth, he wore a brown long sleeve shirt with black vertical stripes and a black three-spiked hat with his welcoming ceremony speech which he always said the same thing every new school year.

Natsu wasn't even listening as he just lets out a soft yawn that he made sure no one caught sleeping out on the speech. But man this is boring as hell.
'How much longer is this speech going to last?. Is anyone even paying attention?'. He thought boredly as he wish this could be over with.
"Psst, hey!". A male student whisper behind Natsu getting his attention. "You came to school with Lisanna Strauss this morning right?".
"Yeah, so what?". He asked.
"I saw you two walking together. You must be pretty close huh?". The male student smirk when he said that. "What's the deal between you two?. Oh and does she have a boyfriend?, nobody seems to know".
"Dude back off will ya". Natsu respond annoyedly as he felt uncomfortable with these questions. "How the heck should I know?. I just met her".
"Oh really?". The male student teased. "I thought you might know but... Guess not. Wait how close are you guys?".
"I told you I just met her". Natsu was getting impatient as this guy was getting on his nerves.
"Hey who's talking over there!". One of the teachers points out as he heard them from afar.
"Probably someone from Miss Porlyusica's class". Another teacher says so.
It was then Porlyusica was pretty pissed off. "Hey shh!, be quiet you brats!". She said almost frightening and threatening. "You're going to put me in trouble you hear!".
The student who was talking to Natsu quickly shut his mouth and went full on silent not wanting to face her warth. Much to Natsu's relief.
'Saved by the scary woman'. He thought sighing heavily as he decides to go through the entire speech. No matter how boring it is to hear.
...
Finally after hours and hours of going through the welcoming speeches and his first day in his classroom. It was already after school and Natsu couldn't be more relief to know it was finally over. For today that is.
"Oh my god...I can't believe I actually survived through all that without Happy". Natsu mutters to himself before letting himself lean over to the table. "I just want to go home and sleep for the whole day".
Suddenly as Natsu was about to get up and left the classroom a teenage boy who seems to be two years older than him walked up to him. And yet something about the way he looks irritates him.
He had spiky black-colored hair. He has dark blue eyes, Wears a white coat and bluish gray pants and matching shoes. A necklace, which resembles a sword with a stone in it, a metal bracelet and a chain which is attached to the belt loops on the right side of his pants.

"Sup man, how's It going?". The spiky black-colored hair boy greeted him as he walked up to Natsu who can't help but looked at him irritatedly. "What?. Don't look at me like that".
But Natsu just glared at the guy like he thinks he's trying to pick some sort of fight with him. And he's not sure but suddenly just felt the urge to punch this guy. "And you are?". He said rudely giving him the death glared.
"Whoa man what's your problem?. I'm just trying to be nice and introducing myself". The guy said defensively trying to show he meant no harm. "Call me Gray. Gray Fullbuster".
"Okay?". Natsu just straight up don't care.
"I transferred here when I was a second year in middle school". Gray said casually like he's trying to act cool and showing off. "It's pretty tough being the new kid at first you know?. So I just wanted to say "Hey!", see what a nice guy I am?".
However Natsu was not impressed at the slightest. "Are you sure you're not just showing off and acting all cool like that?". He said sarcastically while rolling his eyes before looking away for one second and turn to see-.
"DUDE WHAT THE F*K!?". Natsu scream in horror when he saw Gray being full half NAKED!?. "WHY ARE YOU NAKED!?".
Gray gasped when he realize he did it again. His weird usual habit of taking off his clothes in random time and places unconscious and unnoticed by anyone or even himself.
Don't ask why. That's just the type of guy he is.
"GAH!, SERIOUSLY AGAIN!?". Gray yelled at himself feeling embarrassed he had to pull out a stunt like that. "WHY DO THINGS LIKE THIS ALWAYS HAPPEND TO ME!?".
'Oh my god this guy is a freaking pervert!'. Natsu thought In disbelief as he covered his eyes not sure what to think or feel at this moment. But he knew this is just straight up weird. 'Who strips in the middle of a classroom!?'.
A girl scream caught their attention as Gray quickly puts back his clothes he has no idea when and how he took it off. "Honestly Gray Fullbuster if Erza saw you like this you could be sent to detention right away!". Natsu knew that voice to be Lisanna's. "Please do something about that habit of yours".
"Lisanna?". Natsu look surprised to see her here while trying to ignore Gray completely.
"Didn't expect to see you here". Gray said smirking as he finished putting his clothes back on. "Never thought we'd be in the same class again".
Natsu just glared at him unbelievably. 'Is he seriously acting like he didn't just take off his clothes and strips randomly?'. He thought disbelief as he facepalm. 'This guy is just nasty and weird'.
Lisanna just scoff while glared at Gray. "There you again, acting like everybody's best friend". She said criticism him. "Try not to make Natsu uncomfortable okay?".
"Too late". Natsu said honestly not bother to look at Gray. "He already did that by striping. Does that happen a lot?".
"You don't want to know". Lisanna shook her head and sighed. "He's always been like that".
'Are you f*king kidding me?'. Natsu thought unbelievably feeling like he wants to kill this guy now.
"Hello I'm still here you know!". Gray whines showing he's still around feeling offended. "And I was just trying to be friendly here. Geez".
"If you say so". Lisanna just shrugs letting him do whatever he wants. "Anyway, who'd have thought we'd be in the same homeroom?".
"Yeah talk about coincidence". Natsu said agreeing with her. "But like I said this morning. It's nice to have a familiar face in this classroom at least. And now it has".
"I know but still...I was a little surprised". Lisanna said blushing little feeling a bit embarrassed for some reason.
Once again Gray feels like he's being completely ignored yet again. "Seriously?, are you forgetting I'm in this classroom too?". He asked coldly not really liking being the third wheel here. "Anyway just curious, I heard you guys walked to school together. What's up with that?. Come on gimme the dirt".
Lisanna instantly blushed even more while just Natsu looked upset and embarrassed. "Huh!?, what are you talking about?". He said angrily feeling super embarrassed. "We just happen to live in the same dorm!, why do people always keep jumping to conclusions?".
"Have rumors been spreading about this already?". Lisanna said nervously feeling embarrassed. "Now I'm worried".
Suddenly Lisanna looked at Natsu with a serious expression. "Hey you didn't tell anyone about...You know what?. Did you?". She asked making sure he hasn't brought up what happened last night to anyone.
But Natsu just looked dumbfolded not knowing what she's talking about even though he knows exactly what it is. "You know what what?". He said pretending to be stupid about it.
"Don't tell me you've forgot already!". Lisanna said upsetting. "Seriously... Don't say anything about last night okay?".
"I haven't even talk to anyone yet expect this weirdo". Natsu said defensively trying to act innocently. "Geez give me a break will ya".
Gray just gasped when he looks at Lisanna then at Natsu then her again then him again until he can't help but get the wrong idea.
"What?". Lisanna asked as Gray was looking at them both weirdly.
"L-L-Last night?". Gray flutters as he can't help blush embarrassed as his whole face turn red. "Oh my...".
SLAP!
"Ahhh please don't get the wrong idea!". Lisanna shrieks as she slaps Gray in the face to shut him up.
"Listen here you perv!, I just met her yesterday!. And there's absolutely NOTHING between us!". Natsu said threateningly as he grab Gray by the shirt and glared at him deathly. "Got that?".
"Ok okay okay calm down will ya pinky". Gray argue back as this guy was getting on his nerves for some reason. "Geez, can't believe I bother to waste my time trying to be nice to you".
"Whatcha called me?". Natsu shouts as he got into Gray's face.
"You got a problem with me?". Gray argue back as he too got into Natsu's face.
Seeing how the atmosphere quickly changes Lisanna decided it's best not to stay any longer. "I so not going to stay here for this". She said sighing not wanting to get involved in whatever this is. "I have to go now, there's something I need to take care of for the archery team. And you two better not start any rumours".
As she said that Lisanna just walk off leaving the two boys alone. Luckily as she left the classroom they were no longer arguing or getting into each other's faces.
"Ah, who cares?". Gray says scoff and shrugs. "No one takes rumors seriously anyway. She's so paranoid".
"For real she needs to chill". Natsu said agreeing with Gray which is weird cause just a second ago he was starting a fight with him.
"But hey, it's your first day here and people are already talking about you". Gray teased him.
Natsu could only growled at that. "For the last time there's NOTHING going on between us!". He shouted upsettingly. "Ugh, just great".
"Believe it or not you're actually pretty popular". He completely ignored Natsu's words and continue to teased him. "Your the man Natsu".
Natsu could feel his face turning red in anger as Gray punch his shoulder before laughing. "Well here's to a fun school year dude". He said mockingly. "You ready to head out?. We can walk to the station together".
'First this jerk comes up to me acting all nice and cool, then he strips out of nowhere, then he makes fun of me and now he wants to walk with me!?'. Natsu thought angrily as Gray was officially getting on his nerves. 'I really don't like this guy already'.
Unfortunately hey doesn't want to pick a fight no matter how much he's tempted but knew he can't risk putting himself in trouble on his first day. "Doesn't look like I have much of a choice". He groaned and sighed before looking at Gray-.
"OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PERVERT!?". Natsu yelled out in anger as Gray had once again just striped out of nowhere AGAIN.
Gray scream girly as he realize what he had done yet again. "AGAIN!?". He yelled while trying to find his clothes that he took off randomly.
*Sigh* Till this day I still don't understand Gray's unusual weird habit .Don't get wrong I love the guy but I find his weird striping habit so god-damned weird and so cringe ugh Lol . Hope you like it anyway !.
Next chapter : Natsu finished off the rest of his day on his first day of school .
