Hello again!

It's Yo-kai Watch time!

I like the series a lot! The designs are cool, and quite interesting. The plots are cool as well.

This will probably not be my only Yo-kai Watch story.

This story will contain: adventure, romance, transformations, genderbending, harem, and many other things!

Disclaimer: I do not own Yo-kai Watch. It is owned by Level-5.

Now, let's begin our tale!

Life Gone Spooky

It was a nice sunny afternoon in Springdale, Japan. Birds were singing and bees were buzzing around as they pollinated flowers and collected nectar before heading off to sleep.

In the forest located on and surrounding Mount Wildwood, a large shrine sat somewhat near its edge. Said shrine was one-story tall and made of brown wood with dark greenish blue tiles on the roof. A red donation box sat in front of it.

A young man was walking towards a path in the rear of the shrine's clearing on the right side. He stood 6 feet 2 inches tall and had light brownish blonde hair, lightly tanned skin, and bright blue eyes. He was wearing black shorts with blue stripes on the sides, silver-gray sneakers, white socks, a black t-shirt with a picture of a red fox on it, and a leather necklace with a fox and cat made of some sort of purple stone or gem as the centerpiece.

This was Gavin Woodring, an 18-year-old student at the local college.

Gavin sighed as he reached the path and began walking down it, a butterfly net in one hand and his phone in the other. "Let's see, I found that one last Saturday morning, and that one that afternoon," He said as he looked at a list of interesting and rare bugs that were in the area. "So, I just have two left to find. The pink-winged cicada and the warty beetle. Now, where in the world could I find them?"

As he walked down the path, he listened carefully for a cicada. All that he was currently hearing were the sounds of grasshoppers, crickets, and birds. After walking for a few more minutes, he sighed. 'I'm not hearing any cicadas,' He thought as he came to a stop in the path. 'They must be deeper into the forest, off the main path.' He then stepped off the path, and began making his way through the trees, keeping his ears open for any sounds of cicadas.

After walking for several more minutes, he spotted something odd. A glowing bug was hovering in place a few feet ahead of him. "What in the world is that?" He said upon seeing the bug. 'That can't be a firefly. They're not out at this time of the day.' The bug then began slowly flying away from him, causing him to quickly hurry after it. 'I hope I can catch it so I can figure out what it is,' He thought as he chased the strange bug, having to stop and duck under branches as he went.

After chasing the bug for a couple minutes, he found himself entering a large clearing, with the bug nowhere in sight. "Where did it go?" he asked as he looked around for the bug, before spotting something in the middle of the clearing.

A massive tree sat in the middle of the clearing, with its trunk at least as wide as two manhole covers side by side. Its branches were evenly spread out around it like they were acting as an umbrella, and a thick rope went around the trunk with white diamond-shaped papers hanging form it at intervals. "Man that's a big tree," he said as he stared at the tree with surprise. "Weird decorations though." He then spotted something sitting at the base of said tree. "Wait, what's that?" He continued, walking over to get a better look.

To his surprise and shock, there was a capsule machine, or gachapon, sitting on top of a moss-covered rock. The gachapon appeared to be made out of a stone-like material with a glass window around it. Inside were several dark gray capsules. A couple grave markers sat behind the machine on one side.

"What's a gachapon doing here?" He asked with confusion as he stared at the machine. 'It's so out of place here,' he thought.

Suddenly, something strange happened.

"Feeed me, feed me!"

"What was that?!" Gavin asked aloud with confusion, having heard a strange voice start singing around him.

"Feeed me, feed me!"

"Who's singing?" He asked, looking around with confusion as the number of voices singing began increasing around him. "Come out so I can see you."

"Feed me! Feed me! Feed me right now!"

"Okay, this isn't funny!" Gavin stated with a frown, getting a bit annoyed the mystery singers weren't showing themselves. "Show yourselves!"

"Feeed me, feed me!"

His eyes then landed on the stone gachapon. "No, it couldn't be," Gavin said as the idea that maybe the gachapon had something to do with the strange singing entered his mind. "That's not possible."

"FEEEED ME, FEED ME!"

"Okay! Okay! I'll feed you, you hungry machine," He replied as he set his butterfly net down and pulled out his wallet. 'I can't believe I'm doing this.' He thought as he opened it up and pulled out a 100 yen coin, before putting his wallet back in his pocket.

"I'm so hungry I need to eat!"

"Well, with you being out here in the woods, I'm not surprised you haven't been fed," He said as he put the coin in the coin slot and began to turn the knob. Once he turned the knob all the way around once, he heard a "THUNK!" as a capsule fell down into the prize chute, making the capsules inside shift around a bit. "So, what's inside the capsule?" he said as he picked up the gray capsule that had come out and began to pull on its halves. 'Man, this thing is stuck together tight!' he thought as he pulled hard on the halves.

After tugging on the sides for several seconds, he felt them start to pull apart. 'Alright! It's starting to open!' he thought as he pulled on the sides harder.

Suddenly, the sides popped apart, and a burst of smoke appeared along with a bright blue light that pulsed a couple of times before spinning in place as it grew bigger. It became a spiraling vortex made of a transparent blue scroll with ancient words written on it, and small whisps of light were spinning around the vortex in opposite directions. "Whoa!" Gavin said upon seeing this. "What is going on?"

Inside the scroll vortex, he could see a strange figure floating in the middle.

"Eh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-hah-hah-hah-ha!" The figure laughed as a large smile appeared on their face.

'What is that?' he thought with confusion, before the blue lights disappeared with a plume of magenta smoke. Once the smoke dissipated, he was able to get a clear view of the mysterious figure.

The figure floating before him was a white ghost-like wisp with brown eyes that had long feminine eyelashes. A curved black mark connecting the eyes. They had blue lips that resembled a smile at the cheeks, and teeth as well as a set of skinny arms. There was a wisp on top of their head that resembled an ice cream swirl, as well as at the bottom that was constantly moving as they floated.

'What in the world did I just find?' He thought with extreme confusion as he stared at the being.

"What's up, my corporeal friend?" The being said enthusiastically with a female voice. "I am Whisper! At your serwhis." She continued, bowing to him.

"Um, nice to meet you," Gavin replied. "May I ask-"

"I am a Yo-kai!" She interrupted him, moving around him rapidly as she spoke. "That thing you humans call a 'ghost,' 'spirit,' or an 'extradimensional being.' Yo-kai are the mysterious beings who cause strange phenomenon."

"Wait, you're a Yo-kai?!" He said with surprise. "I thought those were just a myth."

"No, we're quite real," She replied matter-of-factly. "Anyways, you're probably wondering why I was in the spooky capsule machine."

"I am," Gavin answered her with a nod.

"It was 190 years ago when some self-righteous monk declared me a menace to society and locked me in the machine!" Whisper stated with a frown, upset at the memory.

"Did you do anything to be called that?" Gavin asked her.

"Of course not!" Whisper exclaimed with a furious shake of her head. "All I did was cause people to make claims on things they knew nothing about."

"Okay," Gavin replied. "Then you shouldn't have been sealed away."

"Right! That's what I told that monk! But he wouldn't listen whis!" Whisper exclaimed.

"And capsule machines existed back then?" He asked her.

"Never mind the details!" Whisper replied. "What is important is that you have set me free!" She exclaimed happily, floating around him with a large smile on her face. "And since you were the one to release me, I shall be your butler whis."

Gavin stared at her upon hearing that. "I'm sorry, I think I misheard you," he said. "Did you just say you'd be my 'butler?'"

"Why, yes I did!" Whisper exclaimed matter-of-factly.

"O-kay," He replied. "And what exactly does that mean?"

"Why, being your butler means I will be your guide to the Yokai World," She said. "And, I will do whatever you tell me to do whis."

"Oh," Gavin replied. "Well, uh, could you help me find these two insects then?" he asked her, pulling out his phone to show her the reference images of the cicada and beetle he had been searching for earlier. "I've been looking for a little while, but I haven't found them at all."

"Of course I can help with that!" Whisper answered happily. She then began dancing around him, waving her arms in the air as she chanted "Bugs, Bugs, rare bugs! Come on step right up!"

Then, several bugs began flying out of the forest towards Gavin, who held out his net upon spotting them. "Wow! That was amazing!" He replied as he looked at the bugs in his net and saw that a pink cicada and warty beetle were in it, along with a purple clawed praying mantis and other cicadas. "Thanks Whisper!"

"No problem whis!" Whisper replied with a smile on her face, before she realized something. "By the way, may I know your name?" She asked him while he took photos of the beetle and cicada before letting them go.

"My name's Gavin. Gavin Woodring," He said as he then took a photo of the purple clawed mantis before releasing it and the other bugs.

"What a nice name," She said. "So tell me, why are you taking photos of those bugs?"

"Oh, it's because of what one of my professors said," he replied as he rested his net on his shoulder and began to walk away, prompting her to go after him. "So my Invertebrate Zoology professor, Doctor Honda Sho, likes to collect insects, but he hates having to kill them, so he's turned to collecting photos of insects instead. He mentioned in class last semester that he'd been trying to find the pink winged cicada and warty beetle ever since he was a child, but had had no luck. So, I decided to find them for him."

"How thoughtful of you," She said as the two of you walked through the forest. "I'm sure he will love what you bring him."

"Yeah, I think he will as well," he replied, before spotting the path right before them. "Hey, quick question: Can other humans see Yo-kai?"

Whisper shook her head. "Normally no whis. Most Yo-kai are invisible to humans. But, if the Yo-kai is strong enough, then a regular human could see them."

"Then what kind of human could see Yo-kai? And how am I seeing you?" Gavin asked her.

"You can see me because of the bond that we now have," She replied matter-of-factly. "As for what humans can see Yo-kai, some humans possess the ability to see them. But it is very rare, and normally fades away after the human ages."

"Interesting," He said in response, intrigued by what he had just learned. "Very interesting." 'That's good,' He thought as they walked along the path. 'I don't want her getting spotted and cause people to freak out.'

"So tell me, what all has changed with humanity while I was imprisoned?" Whisper asked him as they reached the shrine and walked past it.

"Well, for starters," Gavin began, before he began to explain all the changes humans had experienced while she was gone. Whisper periodically interrupted him with a question about a subject he had mentioned earlier, which was a bit annoying, but overall she mostly listened to him. This conversation lasted for about twenty minutes, and when he had finished, they had reached the edge of the forest and Uptown Springdale.

"Well look at that whis!" Whisper exclaimed upon seeing the town. "It's changed quite a lot from the last time I saw it! It wasn't nearly this big!" She then turned to him. "Lead the way!"

"Sure thing," He said, before he began walking into the town, Whisper floating alongside him. She looked at everything with interest, causing him to smile at her excitement.

They walked for about thirty minutes, passing houses, stores, and a school, before Gavin spotted a familiar sight.

A rather large campus sat before them, spread out over a good amount of land. Multiple buildings, most of which were rectangular in shape, were scattered around, and were made of red brick with white trims and black roofs. At least one building was circular in shape, while another was triangular.

"So this is Springdale University," He said to Whisper. "This is where I go to college."

"It looks lovely!" Whisper replied with a nod as she stared at the campus.

"Yes it does," he said, before gesturing for her to follow him. "Come on. I'll show you where I stay." Eh then began walking once more.

After several minutes of walking, they arrived at a four-story building that looked like the majority of the other buildings. It was rather large and rectangular in shape, and was located towards the rear of the campus, with the closest building located about fifteen minutes from it.

"This is one of the dorms on campus, and the one I stay in," He said as he opened the door and walked inside with Whisper. The lobby of this dorm was of decent size, with green carpeting, red walls, several round tables and chairs, and a couple couches. Two televisions hung in the corners of the room, while a large desk sat on one side, an open doorway behind it.

Sitting at the desk was a 20-year-old man with black hair, dark skin, and brown eyes. His outfit was quite simple, with it consisting of a green shirt, black shorts, and sandals.

"Hey Gavin," the man said upon spotting him. "How'd the hunt go?"

"It went well Jiro," Gavin replied as he walked by the man. "I found what I was looking for."

"Good to hear man. Good to hear," Jiro said as he went back to looking at his phone, while Gavin started heading down a nearby hallway.

"He doesn't talk much, does he?" Whisper said once they rounded a corner and continue to head deeper into the building.

"No, not really," He replied, before pausing upon seeing two people standing in a nearby dorm room, arguing with each other. "Oh no, not again!"

The two people arguing were Casey Lemsworth and Shiko Yoruto, two seniors at the university that had been dating for the past 7 years. Casey was a 6 foot tall, somewhat chubby, 22 year old white man with a goatee, black hair, and green eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and grey sandals.

Shiko Yoruto was a 5 foot 2, 21 year old Japanese woman with long black hair, black eyes, and fair skin. She was rather petite, and was wearing a black skirt, white blouse, and white high-heels along with some red lipstick.

"You had to eat the last rice pudding, didn't you?!" Shiko yelled at Casey, who frowned.

"Hey! I was hungry! Besides, you were going to buy more tomorrow anyway! So what's the big deal?" he said.

"Ugh! The deal is I was going to eat it tonight!" Shiko growled back, stomping her legs like a toddler who didn't get their way. "And now I can't! You're such a pig!"

"Hey! I am not a pig!" Casey yelled back.

"I can't believe it," Gavin said as he watched the two argue. "They're arguing over freaking pudding. Can you believe it?" he asked Whisper.

"Let me see," She replied, before floating around him to get a good look at them.

"Mmm, aha! Yes, it's her," She replied, pointing towards them as she looked back at him. "I knew it!"

"Huh? There's someone else in there?" He asked her, looking into the room once more. "The only two people I see in there are the ones arguing."

"Well of course you can't see her," Whisper said as she turned away from him and began searching for something. "We just talked about this earlier."

"Wait, we di-ohhhhh," Gavin said as he realized what she was talking about. "A Yokai's causing this?" He whispered to her.

"Indeed, and you'll need this to see her," She replied as she turned back around, holding out a silver watch in her hand. The face of the watch had pink, light-blue, purple, and green abstract wisps revolving around a black background, and was covered by a domed lens that had a slot on one side. The hands of the watch were silver in color, and black zigzagging lines ran down the straps. A small button was on one side.

"What is it?" He asked her as he took the watch and looked at it.

"It's called a 'Yok-kai Watch,'" She replied. "Go ahead. Put it on."

"Okay," He said, putting the watch on his left arm and tightening the strap so that it fit. "Now what?"

"Push the button," She stated simply, gesturing to the button on the watch.

He turned his arm towards him and did so, and was surprised to see the dome lid swing open, revealing that the slot was actually part of another compartment directly over the clockface. At the same time, a pale blue searchlight turned on, shining from a small hole on the side.

Said light was currently illuminating Whisper, who shook her head.

"Not at me," She said. "Point it at them."

"Ahh, alright," he replied, having an idea of what was going to happen. He turned to the still arguing couple, and aimed the spotlight at them.

A few seconds after he did that, a large figure could be faintly seen next to the couple, getting clearer with every half-second. Once the figure became completely visible, Gavin's jaw dropped a bit.

'What in the world? It looks like a Muk!' He thought with surprise.

The figure had the body shape of a jelly, and was purple in color, with its "hair" having a lighter tone. A deep purple hairband with a small bow on the left side sat on its, or rather, "her" head. She had very short arms, slightly puffy lips, and round eyes with the eyelashes pointing downwards. She was emitting an unpleasant aura.

"Who is that Whisper?" He asked his butler.

"That is Dismarelda," Whisper replied, looking at a light blue tablet with a yellow center and tiny ears at the top corners. "It's a Yo-kai who creates tension wherever she goes. She makes the atmosphere for everyone in the room unpleasant and tense, causing conflict and discord." She then gestured to the arguing couple. "This is a very common scenario for Yo-kai to create. We like to call it 'fighting about nothing.' Worst case, those two keep arguing forever."

"What?!" Gavin whispered with shock and worry. "That can't happen! Those two love each other a lot. They don't deserve this! Is there any way to fix this?"

"The only way to stop a Yo-kai is by negotiation or confrontation," Whisper replied with a nod.

"Well, I don't want to fight her," He said, looking at Dismarelda as he spoke. "That'd be mean and rude."

"Then negotiation it is!" Whisper replied.

Gavin nodded at that, and then slowly walked over to Dismarelda, who was watching the couple argue. Fortunately, the couple was too busy arguing to notice Gavin was there.

"Um, excuse me, Miss Dismarelda?" He asked the Yo-kai, before then noticing she had a sad expression on her face. "What's wrong?"

"Well, me and my husband had a fight earlier, and I stormed off in a huff no filter," Dismarelda replied as she poked her stubby hands together. "When I saw these two, it reminded me of when my husband and I used to date, and I got jealous."

"Wait, Yo-kai can get married?" He asked, turning to Whisper with a surprised look.

"It's a common thing for Yo-kai to do," Whisper replied.

"He just doesn't love me anymore no filter," Dismarelda continued, slumping down sadly.

"I'm sure that's not true," He said. "I'm sure he loves you very much. Everyone fights, even these two." He then gestured to the currently arguing couple. "But at the end of the day, they still love each other. Why don't you try to make up with him? And talk it out?"

"Well, I have no idea where he could be," She replied sadly.

"He's probably looking for you," He replied, before a male French voice spoke from behind them.

"Dis! There you are Dis!"

"Huh?" Gavin said, turning around with Whisper to see who had spoken.

Floating right inside the room was a yellow, gaseous-bodied male Yo-kai with diminutive arms. He sported squinty eyes, a wide mouth that was smiling, and a green mustache, vaguely resembling a Dali style. His hair was green and styled to resemble a normal haircut, and had a daisy on the top.

"I'm so sorry we had to fight," The Yo-kai replied.

"I'm guessing that's her husband," Gavin said as he watched the male Yo-kai float over to Dismarelda.

"Meet Happierre, a cheery Yo-kai who emanates warmth and comfort," Whisper replied with a nod, still reading the tablet.

As soon as Happierre got next to Dismarelda, her negative aura dissipated, causing the couple to stop fighting.

"Dismarelda, who makes everything dark and dreary, is married to Happierre, who makes everything bright and happy," Whisper continued. "The two cancel each other out and create normalcy."

"Sweetie, I'm so sorry," Shiko apologized to her boyfriend.

"No, I'm sorry. It's all my fault," Casey replied, hugging her in his arms lovingly.

As the two continued to apologize to each other, Happierre turne dot his wife. "Let's go home sweet cakes," he said.

"Let's get out of here," Dismarelda replied. "This place is so depressing no filter." The two then left with Happierre going "Ohhoho!" followed by Gavin and Whisper, who made sure to shut the door quietly behind them.

"Where do they even live?" He asked Whisper as they watched the couple go down the hallway towards the lobby.

"Where most Yo-kai live when not causing mischief with humans," Whisper replied. "A dimension parallel to the human world."

"Huh, how about that," He said as he turned around and continued heading on down the hallway. "By the way, thanks for the watch."

"You're welcome," Whisper replied as she joined him. "That thing is the only way you can see most Yo-kai, as I'm sure you've already figured out. By the way, it's almost impossible to take it off."

"Oh," Gavin said, looking at the watch on his arm upon hearing that. "Is it some sort of anti-theft function?"

"Why, yes," Whisper replied. "I'll be honest, I'm surprised you aren't freaking out more about it being stuck on your arm."

"Well, it helped out with the situation with Dismarelda earlier," he said as they got closer to the end of the hallway. "And it's not really in the way, so I'm not that freaked out."

"Huh," Whisper said, a bit surprised at his response.

"Anyways, here's my dorm room," He continued, gesturing to the red wooden door before them, which was located at the very end of the long hallway. The number 158 was on the front. As he opened the door, he said, "I don't have any roommates, so you can sleep in any room you want."

"Oh, but won't you have some when the semester starts whis?" Whisper asked him as they stepped inside.

"No, I won't," He replied with a sigh as he shut the door and locked it. "These dorms are mainly for couples, and this dorm room in particular is different from the others. There are eight bedrooms instead of the typical four because of a communication error in the building and planning process. And on top of that, I haven't had any in the two years I've been in this room, so I have a feeling I won't for the next two."

"Oh," Whisper said, before looking around at the living room, which had cream-coloured walls, a cream ceiling and light brown carpet. Said room was rather large, with two blue couches sitting in front of a large TV. A blue recliner sat between them, while a couple tall lamps sat on either side of the TV, which sat on top of a small entertainment system. Right next to the living room was a small kitchen, which had a two-compartment sink, granite countertops, light brown cabinets, a microwave over a shiny silver stove, a white fridge, and a white dishwasher. The floor was made of white tile, while the walls and ceiling were painted white. A silver washer and dryer sat next to each other next to the kitchen.

Two open doors were on either side of the kitchen, with the washer and dryer separating one door from the kitchen on one side, and a bookshelf with movies and books on it separating the other door from the kitchen. The doors lead to two quite nice bathrooms that were painted light blue, with somewhat large sinks, mirrors, a shower, and a bathtub that could comfortable fit two people, maybe three.

Eight doors were on the opposite walls of the living room, with the letters A through H on them.

"It's quite lovely," She said after looking around.

"Thanks, I try to keep it neat," He replied. "My room's right over there," he continued, pointing at the door with the letter A on it. "So you can sleep in any of the other rooms. Wait, do Yo-kai even need sleep?" he asked her, curious.

"Why of course we do!" She replied. "We may be spirits, but we can still get tired. And I'll be sleeping in your room."

"Oh, I guess that makes sense," He said, before he realized what she'd said. "Wait, what?! Why my room?"

"I am your butler of course. And that means I stay by your side at all times!" Whisper replied with a nod. "Even when you sleep."

"But isn't that-" He was interrupted as she flew up to his face with a determined and firm look on her face.

"At ALL times," She stated firmly.

'I think she's taking this a bit too seriously,' he thought before he said, "Alright then. If you say so." His stomach then growled. "Well, I'm going to make myself some dinner." He said after checking his phone and seeing it was 6:00 P.M.

"Oh, could I have some? I haven't eaten in a long time whis," Whisper asked him as he went to the kitchen.

"Um, sure," he replied, a bit surprised at her request. 'Yo-kai can eat?' He thought as he pulled out a frozen ham and pineapple pizza. 'How does their digestion work? Actually, I don't think I want to know that.'

While Gavin was prepping the oven for the pizza, Whisper decided to take a look at his room. Floating over to the door, she grabbed the handle and turned it. Finding the door unlocked, she pushed the door open.

Gavin's bedroom was of decent size. Several posters of animals and a couple music artists hung on the cream walls. Light gray carpet covered the floor. A large queen-sized bed sat in one corner, with green sheets on it along with animal-themed pillowcases on the two pillows. A large wooden dresser sat in another corner, while a closet, which she opened naturally, was full of hanging clothes and two extra pairs of shoes and sandals along with a black guitar case. A large wooden desk sat several feet away from the bed, a computer sitting on it along with a clock and small lamp. A laundry basket was located next to the dresser, while a large lamp sat in a corner by itself.

Overall, the room was quite nice.

Satisfied with what she had seen, she shut the door, and turned her attention back to Gavin, who had just put the pizza in the oven.

"Alright, the pizza has to cook for 25 minutes, so I'm going to take a shower," he said to her as he shut the oven and started the timer. "Want me to set up something for you to watch while I wash?" he asked her. He'd taken into consideration that part of the reason she wanted to be so close to him was because he was the first person she'd seen in over 190 years, so he didn't want to leave her alone with nothing to do.

"Um, sure," Whisper replied with curiosity.

"Good," he said as he pulled out his phone and opened Youtube. "Here, you can watch whatever you want on here while I shower." He then handed his phone to her, before heading into his room for a few seconds to grab some pajamas.

Once he'd gotten them, he went into the bathroom to shower.

"How kind of him," She said as she heard the shower turn on. 'I'm so fortunate to have a master like him.' She then turned her attention to the phone, and tapped on a video called "The History of the World: Summarized." 'This should be useful,' She thought as the video began to play, and made herself comfortable on one of the couches.

Gavin sighed as he washed himself in the shower. 'Man has my day gone weird,' he thought. 'Who would have thought that Yo-kai are real, and that I'd release one? Much less have one as my butler.' He then shook his head. 'I wonder what my family would say if they could see me now.' A sad look appeared on his face for a few seconds at that. 'Man I miss them.'

After ten minutes had passed, he was finished showering and turned off the water before stepping out and drying himself off with a towel. Once dry, he put on his pajamas, which consisted of a light blue tank top and dark blue pajama shorts, and left the bathroom.

"So, what video are you watching?" He asked Whisper, who's eyes were glued to the screen.

"'The History of the World: Summarized,'" She replied.

"Oh yeah, that video," he said upon hearing the name. "It's pretty good." He then walked over to the fridge and opened it to grab himself a drink. "Want something to drink?"

"Yes please," Whisper replied.

"What do you want?"

"Water please," She said as he grabbed a Sprite for himself and shut the fridge door.

"Alright," He said as he grabbed a clean cup from a cabinet and filled it with some ice cubes from the freezer, before filling it with water from the sink. He then walked over and sat down next to her, holding her drink out to her. "Here you go."

"Thank you whis," She replied as she took the cup and drank. "Ah, how refreshing."

"So, what period in time are they currently covering?" He asked Whisper, looking at the video as he spoke.

"They're currently summarizing the 1500s," Whisper replied as the video showed several drawings of events from the 1500s, such as the end of the Two-Century war and the Reign of Suleiman. "Not exactly the time period I'm interested in, but it's alright."

"Uh-huh," Gavin said as he began watching the video with her.

The video had just reached the 1850s when the oven timer went off, prompting Gavin to get up to check the pizza. Said pizza looked ready, so he turned off the oven and timer before grabbing some potholders. He then pulled out the pizza, and set it on the stove to cool off.

"Pizza's ready," he told Whisper as his stomach growled again. He then pulled out a pizza cutter and, once the pizza had cooled off enough, began cutting it into pieces.

"How many pieces you want?" He asked her as he finished slicing the pizza.

"One please," She replied. "I've never had ham and pineapple pizza before."

"Well, I hope you like it," he said as he put a slice on one plate and two on another, before heading back over to her. "If you don't, that's alright. It's not everybody's thing." He then sat down, and handed the one slice to her, before taking a bite of one of his own slices.

Whisper picked up her slice, and tentatively took a decent sized bite of it. She then chewed it for several seconds, before swallowing it. "Well, it isn't suuuper good, but it's alright," She said as she took another bite.

"Alright," He replied as he finished his first slice and moved on to the second one. "So, would you like another slice when you're done?"

"Just one more," She said as she ate some more pizza.

"Alright," he said, before quickly finishing his second slice. He then waited for Whisper to finish before heading back to get more pizza.

He quickly returned with more pizza slices, and handed back her plate as he ate another slice.

The two of them continued to eat, with him getting up to get more slices, until the entire pizza was gone.

"Hey, you up for a movie after I finish washing these dishes?" He asked Whisper as he stood by the sink and began washing the pizza tray and slicer. "I was planning on watching one tonight."

"Sure," She replied with a nod as she continued to watch the Youtube video, which was getting very close to the end. "What movie do you have in mind?"

"It's called 'Kung Fu Panda,'" He responded as he began to dry the washed dishes with a dish towel, before putting them away once they were dry.

"'Kung Fu…Panda?'" She repeated, confusion in her voice. "How can a panda learn kung fu?"

"You'll see," He said as he walked over to his room, soon returning with a silver laptop. He then sat next to her, opened the computer, and began to type on the computer after logging into it.

After a couple of minutes, he pulled up the movie, and after making sure the volume was turned up, proceeded to get up and turn off all the lights, leaving only his computer illuminating the darkness.

As he sat down, he took his phone from Whisper, who had finished watching the video on it a few minutes before. "Now, let's watch this movie," He said as he pressed play on his computer and sat back, his eyes on the screen, while Whisper proceeded to scoot over to get a better look at the screen.

As the movie played, Whisper periodically commented on it, saying such things as "That panda can't learn kung fu! He's too fat!' and "Ouch! That had to hurt!"

When the movie eventually came to an end, and the credits began to play, he turned to Whisper and said, "So, what'd you think?"

Whisper hummed in thought for several seconds, before speaking. "It was rather funny," She replied honestly. "And I admire Po's determination to learn kung fu. Overall, the movie was good."

"Good, I'm glad you liked it," He said, getting up with his closed laptop in hand. He then let out a yawn, before continuing. "I think it's time for me to go to bed."

"Alright then," Whisper replied as she floated off the couch and followed him to his room, grabbing some blankets for her to sleep on before heading after him.

Once he got inside his room, he set his laptop down on the desk and plugged it in to charge, before doing the same thing with his phone. He then turned to Whisper, a thought having just occurred to him. "Whisper, are Yo-kai all over the Earth, or just in Japan?" He asked her as she set her blankets on the floor.

"Why, Yo-kai are everywhere Gavin whis," Whisper replied. "We're wherever people are."

"Ah, alright," He said as he turned off the lights and got into bed. "Thanks Whisper, and goodnight."

"Goodnight Gavin," Whisper replied with a smile as he turned over and closed his eyes.

'Well, my life certainly has changed,' He thought as he began to fall asleep. 'I wonder what else will happen?' With that final thought, he fell fast asleep.

As Gavin slept, Whisper sighed and smiled. 'I think I will enjoy this,' She thought, before turning her attention to the tablet she had pulled out earlier. Said tablet was called a "Yo-Kai Pad." She then grabbed a pen and several sheets of paper, before turning the pad on.

She had a long night ahead of her.
