AN: Why hello there I didn't see you um yeah writer's block is a bitch I'm sorry I haven't been motivated the past few months. I've been having a bad couple of months but that's no excuse so I'll do my best with this chapter and so on to the story.

"Report" commanded a man with a bandana and unique jacket

"Yes Master Takt, the shield hero is making his way to Zeltoble's capital and focusing on fighting the waves in all the other nations. The other three heroes have been copying weapons in Zeltoble to get stronger, but it seems like Melromarc and the three heroes' church are keeping them on a leash, although the heroes are oblivious to this.

Takt took a moment to think "Seems like my brother was trying to keep his cards close to his chest. Just observe the shield hero for now I'll need a higher defense stat eventually. If I attack now it'll be a pain in the ass to deal with the other nations, that's all Tulina you did a good job." The fox demihuman smiled and left the room Takt looked out the window to see the construction of multiple factories. 'The shield hero is certainly an interesting character. I can't wait to take that shield but it's far too early to act, for now I must prepare,'

" Hey Andrew, Andrew wake up, it's time to get out of the carriage." It was my friendly neighborhood Zinnia that awakened me back to the land of the living. I got back up forgetting I had equipped my pillow shield. It was by far the best item I absorbed into my shield and no I didn't upgrade it all the way to make it more fluffy you can't prove it.[I Have The status that says otherwise] 'Shush you'.

Besides being betrayed by my shield, [HEY] Me and Zinnia looked around for an inn in the area, We both waved goodbye to our escort. I kept my eyes open. Cities like these are usually hotspots for crime there, attracted to all the money that flows. There was once or twice someone tried to pickpocket me thinking I was an easy target only to come out empty-handed since I kept all my valuables in my shield. One idiot tried to steal my shield only to be shocked by my shield. She didn't appreciate being stolen. I decided to change shield forms so my shield wouldn't be a big target.

We kept walking until I saw a big blond idiot spinning his spear like he was in high school band practice trying to impress the bitch and squad. Then an Idea so stupid that it just might work I would come up to Motoyasu when he's alone as an adoring fanboy and ask him why he hasn't fought the waves in other nations. Making it look like an NPC gave him important information about the waves. Hopefully, he gets the hint and if he doesn't, well death by big bird will be in my future and I don't look forward to being on Fitoria's shit list especially when I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. I'll wait until the right time for now. I relayed my plan to Zinnia. She didn't quite understand what I was going for but agreed getting the spear hero to fight the waves in other nations was a good idea.

[This is going to be a disaster, but you have my support either way] I rolled my eyes at my Shields "support". I knew this plan was stupid but I'm improvising at the moment. Time to do my inner adoring fan, I'm going to hate this so much.

Motoyasu was having the time of his life. He got praise for his good looks, loads of money, and all the cute girls. What's not to love, Myne and the girls had decided to go on a shopping trip although it was a bit late. I gave them the money they needed. I turned around to see a very excited kid near a blue-haired beauty.

" By the four, by the four, BY THE FOUR. Is it really you, the handsome and magnificent spear hero, are you here to fight the wave here in Zeltoble?"

Motoyasu was surprised a bit; there were waves other than Melromarc. Now this is interesting. This NPC may be meant to give him this information. " Yes it's me, the great spear hero, it's going to know my exploits have been spreading far and wide. May I ask what do you mean by a wave taking place in Zeltoble?"

The boy looked confused "You don't know that waves happen all across the world from the Grand Nation of Faubry to the power demihumans of Siltvelt."

Motoyasu didn't know that. He thought the waves happened in one country but now knowing he can visit different countries to fight more waves this was different from his game. He could get stronger faster and tell his fellow heroes about this or keep it to himself. He'll decide on that later.

" Thanks, kid for the information, here's a silver for your troubles." As he tossed a coin to the kid.

" Thank you, gracious spear hero, I shall treasure this." The black-haired boy smiled " I shall be on my way. I wish you victory against the waves."

As the kid disappeared into the market Motoyasu couldn't help but feel that the boy was more than he seemed. His spear's gem glowed in recognition of another cardinal weapon. He then saw Myne and the other girls return carrying baskets of clothing and other items. Oh well, the mystery boy will have to wait another day. " Hey Myne, how was your shopping?"

As I got into the inn I threw up in the washroom and got a pale of water to

" I don't wanna talk about it!"

She groaned " Fine I'm going to bed you baby." She then heard Andrew cry in shame being overdramatic.

The next morning they pretended that nothing happened Andrew changed his clothes to something more formal so motoyasu as he had his hair cut it was starting to get to his shoulders. He asked around in the market for the slaver/monster merchant Foul and Atla where his target was nothing else than to free them. He fuckin hated the justification of owning a slave in the manga because the main character got fucked in the beginning. He guesses his botched summoning was a blessing in disguise; he wouldn't have to deal with the bullshit of the three heroes' church and Melromarc.

He looked at the world map and realized he would have to go through Siltvelt to get to Sheildfreeden. Well unless he took a few weeks boat ride so the ass kissers vs suffering a weeks boat ride. A question for after the wave in Zeltoble. He was pulled from his thoughts as he approached the giant tent.

"Why hello there, good sir, welcome to my humble shop. What are you in the market for?" The short-dressed man with a top hat asked. Zinnia was not pleased when I explained I was buying slaves to free them; she was slightly appeased.

" Yes my good man, I'm here to purchase your ware, My good man." Andrew could see the grin on his face and behind those shades.

" Your speaking my language of course come right this way, yes sir." he led me and Zinnia to the cages across the compound. Many looked in despair, others angry they were most likely sold to pay off a debt or captured.

I continued to look around as I saw the cages and sad excuses of homes for these enslaved people. I despised the act of slavery but there wasn't anything I could do they were not going to listen to me. I'm just a kid. As I made it to another cage I saw what I was looking for, a Hakuko girl covered in bandages from head to toe. And her brother is taking care of her with multiple scars on his wrists and body from all the fights. I stopped as the slave dealer stopped with me.

" I see those two caught your eye. The girl is sick as a dog and her brother, well he's making me money just to keep her alive." He sighed

"How much are you willing to part with them?" I asked

" The boy 10 gold he's making me good money so I'll have to make up for the loss in profit. As for the girl 50 silver." It was a hefty amount of coin I had to pay. That bag of gold Midna gave me was over 70 hundred gold coins. " How about you lower the price for the girl you know as well as I do? She's a money sink. I'd be paying you the privilege of getting a constant money drain off your hands. Either you or the boy are paying money just to keep her off death's door."

I could see his grin smile even more " Yes sir I like the way you talk about 50 silvers?"

" I think we can go a little lower, how about 40 slivers." The man thought for a moment and sighed.

" You drive a hard bargain although I was expecting you to negotiate for the Hakuko boy's price."

" No, I was willing to negotiate but I'm not that good." I took out the coins and gave it to him. "Also, do you have a monster lottery?"

He looked grinned. " Yes, I do."

" I'll take one and here's two gold coins for the egg and the other to remove the slave crest ." He proceeded to unlock the cage and give me an egg. He then had his employees take both Folh and Atla. Folh somewhat resisted but was too tired from the last tournament.

Me and Zinnia observed the scene of them removing both their slave crests once it was finished the Hakuko boy glared at me. " Why did you do that, ww-what do you want?"

I sighed once again " The way I see it you have two options you either join me to fight the waves of calamity. Or you go back to those tournaments and most likely be enslaved again to pay off your sister's medicine. I can help heal your sister better than the crap the guy must have been selling to you."

He took a moment to think about it. The whole reason he was enslaved was to pay for his sister. And if this guy is telling the truth then he could help his sister. " Alright, but you better be telling the truth."

" I promise to help her." I smiled and as I looked back at Zinnia she smiled in approval as we both walked out. I took some potions and enhanced them with my shield. She started to look better already as her skin glowed a soft green.

Folh looked at me with surprise that I kept my promise. Then he looked at my shield and it clicked " You're the shield hero!"

I winced at his yelling "Shush don't shout it for the world to know."

" Sorry, I just wasn't expecting you of all people."

" Yeah, I wouldn't expect a kid to save me either come on let's get you two some proper clothes and food." I could see the smiles on both their faces.

Zinnia then spoke up " I was worried you were showing your true colors back there but it's good to know you still have a heart."

I smiled " I know what it's like to be in a tough situation but I believe that's a story for another day."

As we went through the city and made our stops.I looked at the church and I was reminded that I had to synchronize with that dragon's hourglass. " Hey, you guys I've got to go in the church for a moment." They all nodded as I walked towards the church I then saw a priest and showed him my shield and he led me to the hourglass as I synchronized with it. [ 12D 10:24:10] That's not leaving much time to level up.

Looks like I've got to do some leveling to do. he grimaced as he looked at the egg in his hands. He wondered what this egg would be. As he went back home with his new party members.

Ok That's a wrap I'm going to be honest this is another chapter I hate because some parts felt forced. But I promised myself I would get this chapter out before the end of the year.
