SIX MONTHS LATER

APPEARS ON THE SCREEN

INT. LIVING ROOM.

An unknown building.

A four section book shelf, with nearly hundreds of hard backs stacked neatly.

THE CAMERA PANS RIGHT IN ROOM, THAT'S REALLY CLEAN AND TIDY. CRYSTAL BALLS ON THE TABLE AND MYSTICAL PICTURES HANGING ON THE WALL. THERE ARE ALSO STUFFED ANIMALS AROUND THE ROOM ALSO. THE TONE OF THE ROOM IS VERY MYSTERIOUS.

INT. LOLA SHELDON

Thirty Four Year Old Brunette, with blue eyes. Wearing a black scarf around her neck and wearing a blue dress. She sits nervously, as if something is playing on her mind. Her eyes wander around the room, that appears captivating, secretive and uneasy all at once.

A tender female voice is heard.

INT. LUTESSA GOLDING

A sweet black tender speaking Thirty Five Year Old Year Old, hypnotist dressed in a purple robe. She hands Lola a cup of Coffee.

The hypnotist appears innocent and makes Lola feel at ease.

LUTESSA

Here you go.

Lola acknowledges Lutessa gratefully.

LOLA

Oh. Thank you.

Lutessa sits opposite Lola, clasping her palms.

LUTESSA

You said on the phone, 'that I would be the perfect outlet to deal with the hurt you've suffered.'

That's very comforting to hear. I want to hear your story, Lola.

Lola takes a few moments to get things into perspective. She had for months, been in a relationship with a serial killer, who had pulled the wool over her eyes. Paul Harland had attempted to murder her at Niagara Falls, while she was there with him and her son, Oscar. Also, with Harland surviving the fall into the Waterfalls, he ultimately murdered Sylvia Wilson, the night Lola and Jeff rekindled some passion. Lola is not only guilty of betraying Sylvia and hurting an unknown Christopher, she is terrified Paul Harland will soon one day return. Lola places her coffee down.

LOLA

About a year ago, I met a man. He was tall ,blonde..Blue eyes that could melt your heart. Seemed like a down to Earth guy. He worked at a Hospital, as a Janitor amongst other things. Paul was the kinda man you could talk to in a moment of crisis. In some ways I thought of him, as a Superman.

(Thinking momentarily -doubtfully)

But, then, it all blew up in my face. You see, Paul had a different to him, that nobody saw. Except the suspicions of my Ex- Boyfriend, Jeff, who is father to my son, Oscar.

Lutessa listens very carefully to Lola, nodding. Lola then doesn't hold back, on adding to what Paul Harland was.

LOLA

Look, I'm not gonna lie to you. You probably already know. Paul Harland was a serial killer. He murdered several women across the City last Halloween.

LUTESSA

Yes, I heard.

LOLA

And he murdered many more after that. He killed my best friends fathers second wife. He even tried to set up a Hospital Clerk for the murder of her sister, who required a heart transplant. She was put on trial, the day Paul tried to kill me.

Lutessa leans forward and rubs Lola's hand to comfort her. Lola then starts to cry, as guilt from the night, Sylvia was murdered by Paul, starts to set in. She looks to the ceiling, as if there is no way to escape the events and trauma, she is struggling to pass by.

LUTESSA

How awful.

LOLA

But, that's not it. I did something, that I regret...

And that I shouldn't and I do...

LUTESSA

What is it?

Lola puts her head in hands, crying out fairly loudly. It's troubling her.

LOLA

I fell in love in again.

Lutessa thinks for a moment. But, she soon takes the hint of who Lola is referring to.

LUTESSA

Jeff.

LOLA

Yeah.

(nodding)

LUTESSA

Why was it so bad?

LOLA

Because, if it wasn't for us relighting that fire..

Making love...

Sylvia would still be alive.

LUTESSA

And this..Paul?

LOLA

Oh, I'm scared. I don't don't know if he'll ever come back for one last chance to kill me. But, I'm scared that if Chris, Jeff's adopted son that is. If he ever found out, I'm gonna wish Paul actually did kill me, not Sylvia.

Lutessa taps Lola on her hand for assurance and hands her a tissue. She doesn't like Lola's negative assumption.

LUTESSA

Don't talk like that. In my experience, it's not always the way to blame yourself solely for everything. You weren't the only one involved in that affair. He was married.

LOLA

Yeah and we have a child together. I hated him, when my mother died. But, I still loved him and I still do. Maybe Paul was me seeing Jeff as the man, I wanted him to be. ..How wrong I was. Paul may have worn a Mask to do his dirty deeds. But, he shouldn't have bothered. He wore a mask, every night I got into bed with him and every day I spent the day with him. I'm just a fucking noo noo..

Lutessa is taken back by Lola's foul language. Lola soon regrets that moment of outburst.

LOLA

Sorry.

Lutessa smiles in acception of Lola's apology rather quickly.

LUTESSA

Lola, you're human. You weren't just put on this Earth to be perfect in the eyes of the Law. You are always perfect in the eyes of God.

Lola wipes her tears away, feeling relaxed by Lutessa's kind words. Lola braves a smile.

LOLA

Thanks.

Lutessa sits back and relaxes in her chair.

LUTESSA

You also said on the phone 'You may know other people that may find an interest in my hypnotherapy.'

LOLA

Yes. Their life is just as dramatic mine I suppose. I don't think they'll thank me for it. But, I'll sure try and push them to seek your help.

LUTESSA

If you can do that Lola, they will surely thank you for it. It maybe be a bit expensive, but it may influence your future a whole lot better.

When you're ready. We'll do the procedure.

LOLA

Thank you.

(smiling).
