[Kukui Tanku]

"Damnit, how do you keep pulling +4's out of your ass, are you cheating?" Mika shouted as I placed down the fifth plus four of the game, She had over 20 cards at this point and Shisui was trembling with fear. It was beautiful to see after the Monopoly game where they both came back from having one dollar.

"Nope!" I looked at my other plus four card as Mika placed down a two. I placed down my last plus four and Mika screamed something unintelligible and I laughed. This was a spectacular change of pace from getting beat up by Hayate-sensei. "Get good scrub." I put on a shit eating grin as I dodged a kunai. "Someone's a bit too angry."

"Shut up, bastard." Mika looked to the cards on the left. "Do I have to take another four?" I nodded and Mika groaned and began staring at the cards, trying to glare a hole through them like they were nothing but pure evil.

"I hate this." Shisui whimpered. "I missed beating you in Monopoly. At least it wasn't so one sided, and when it was we beat you still." Shisui chuckled to himself. "Good times, good times... Can't we go back to Monopoly after this?"

"Yes, I hate losing." Mika said as she begrudgingly added another four cards to her deck. She placed one down after Shisui, it was a plus two to add onto a plus two Shisui had. Mika looked at me now and grinned. "But it looks like we'll be here for a long time!" Before Mika could get too excited, I placed down a plus two. "I hate you."

"You love me and you know it." I laughed as Mika picked up another six before placing down another card, then Shisui did, then I did. It was a round without anyone picking up more cards which put a look of relief on Mika's face, but I had two cards left. "Let's see, red or blue... Which should I place first."

"You don't have a red or a blue." Shisui looked at the back of my cards, they're both green or something. You're bluffing." Shisui placed down a card then which changed everything to blue, I took the card to the right and slowly put it down. Shisui looked at it and then back at me... "I'm starting to hate Uno."

"I already hate it." Mika groaned, "Just don't let it turn to red and he'll have to pick up a few cards." Mika placed down a nine then, carefully gauging my reaction to see what I'd do next. Oh how I loved moments like these. Shisui then placed down his card, a three.

"Beautiful. Just beautiful." I looked up at my card as I raised it into the air, "Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one." I placed down the final card and looked both of the Uchiha in the eyes. "I win."

"Fuck you." Mika grumbled, "Cocky bastard." I laughed at that, I had made it a point to try and not be cocky so I wouldn't get a spear through my head or something like that, this was just all in good fun, right? I mean sure I was being an ass slightly, but this was Karmic justice for that Monopoly game.

Shisui sighed. "It's over at least, he can't hurt us anymore." Shisui hugged Mika as I began putting the cards away. Shisui then looked at me. "You are evil, genuinely evil. That was the worst game of Uno I have ever played with you."

I deadpanned at Shisui. "That Monopoly game was the worst I've ever played with anyone."

"...Touche," Shisui said after a moment. "We're even now?"

"Nope! I still have to get you back, you never got any of the +4's!" I said, watching Shisui deflate like a balloon as I said that, "We'll start out with Monopoly next time, it'll soften the pain." Shisui let out a weak "yay" that got a laugh out of Mika.

"Can't we just stop playing Uno forever? Neither of us win anymore." Mika said as I finished putting the cards away. "Even you win at Monopoly sometimes!"

"I do." I nodded. "But it's fun to win all the time!" I then prepared to leave. "It's been fun but it's getting dark outside, I need to go home to prepare for tomorrow..." It was going to be another mission tomorrow, a C-rank hopefully, probably something simple though.

"Bye, try not to get hit by a falling brick on the way home!" Mika waved as I began to walk out the room and the door, I turned back and she shrugged, "It'll be funny if you do though, smug jerk. I like fighting you more. At least we're equals." Mika muttered

Shisui chuckled. "Don't worry, we'll win one eventually, and it'lll be the biggest blowout ever." Mika grinned at that as Shisui turned to me. "Bye! It was fun for a little while, please come back without Uno next time."

I grinned. "Maybe," That made Shisui and Mika look more hopeful, "Bye! I'll see you guys soon!" I then looked at Mika. "Also, if we are going on a C-rank mission tomorrow, I will bring Uno." Mika almost lunged at me but she was barely held back by Shisui

I quickly dashed out of the building. I had projects I needed to work on after all! And preperation. I needed to prepare for tomorrow.

No, I wasn't scared of a feral Mika.

I looked at my opponent, this had been our first official meeting. Of course, I didn't expect much, at least not yet. It had only been a few months after all, and I was wearing my weights. But that didn't mean I wasn't going to be cautious. This was a Taijutsu only battle after all.

And that meant I wasn't going to have access to anything I actually specialized in. And now, that isn't a problem since I can fight with Mika and win four out of ten times with just Taijutsu which is really good. But, I didn't know how strong my adversary was going to be now, nor did I know what he'd do.

'I won't lose this, it's just Lee. Without most of the training and the gates Lee.' I looked up at Rock Lee as we both entered a fighting stance. "I've heard a lot about you," I grinned at Lee. "I don't know who will win this spar because of that, either way let us have a good fight."

Lee grinned back, "How youthful! I have heard a lot about you as well Kukui-kun. I hope you can give me good fight like Naruto-kun did!" At that, Hayate lowered his arm and said nothing as Lee began to run at me. " May the most youthful Taijutsu user win!"

Right away, I grabbed a kick before blocking a punch that would have hit my head. Quickly, I attempted to throw Lee onto the ground but he quickly spun and landed on his feet, trying to kick me again. I ducked under his foot and slammed my arm into it, trying to flip him onto his back that way.

Lee once again landed on his feet, this time I ran at him, jumping into the air and slamming my foot down into a block he had prepared, He kicked me in the stomach and it felt like a bullet. Nonetheless, I landed and glanced at Lee. 'We're on even footing... He's also wearing his weights. He hits hard.' My grin grew. "You are strong."

"I can say the same to you, you have clearly trained hard!" Lee exclaimed as he dashed at me again, I blocked a punch before slipping under Lee's guard and landing a kick before punching him in the gut, he quickly retaliated with a punch of his own, hitting me in the sternum. I winced but jumped back.

Lee followed and I blocked an Ax-kick before once again grabbing his leg, I could feel the leg weight under his leg warmers. I pulled Lee closer and his him in the stomach as hard as I could, that appeared to take the breath out of him, I decided to take the opportunity to take the advantage, I punched him again, and again, and then again, before I could punch him away, Lee punched me, hitting me in the forehead.

"They're really going at it." Lee and Neji's other teammate said. "I know about Lee being this hot blooded, Does your teammate always do this?" She asked, with a tilt of her head, I glanced back at the crowd, seeing Gai cheer on Lee as well and Neji shaking his head.

I spat out some blood and laughed, this was getting fun. "I can tell this isn't even close to your full potential!" I laughed again. " Let us continue more!" I ran forward, activating running and dodging a punch, Lee then span and went for a kick. I could see Lee grinning too.

"Leaf Hurricane!" Lee announced as I was hit, I took the opportunity to land a strike in the ribs, making Lee stop for a moment before I ducked under a hit, he then managed to kick me away using his other leg. This is what I wanted! I wanted a fight as good as this, one where I was outmatched but I could still win! I had greater stats overall, but he had greater skill. This was proving to be wonderful!

Tenten sighed and glanced at the other girl. "Kukui gets way too invested in fights sometimes when he and a friend we made in our last mission sparred he burned down a small portion of a forest on accident with his seals." That made Neji raise an eyebrow. "He's normally far more serious."

"I'm afraid we might be dragging this on for too long, Kukui-kun. It is time we ended this so we can spar with our youthful teammates." Lee stood in his original position as I did. I grinned and spat out more blood and put my hands up, I then dashed at Lee, dropping to the ground and spinning, having my legs kick his block.

Quickly, Lee grabbed my legs. I tried to use that to slam him into the ground, quickly, he turned that onto me and used the opportunity to slam my head into the ground, bringing on a massive headache already.

Before he could do anything else, I kicked Lee away, but he quickly jumped back. I dodged three punches and kicks thanks to the boost running gave me. I saw an opening in his guard, every time he moved, he forgot to block his liver.

I punched, but I felt my arm be grabbed. "You got me." I grinned as I looked at Lee. "I yield."

"Lee won." Hayate said and Gai cheered more getting a sigh from Neji again.

I was let go right away by Lee. "You are a strong adversary Kukui-kun! And Taijutsu isn't even your specialty, I can't wait to spar you with Ninjutsu, It will be a great challenge for me!" Lee exclaimed. "I need to up my training more for next time if you are as strong as I think you are."

'Not strong enough.' I kept my grin on. "I'm sure it'll be close, I wouldn't surprised if you won again."

I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Today was the day I did something I'd been putting off for a long time. There were a lot of things I had been doing instead of actually doing research on other seals. Mainly because I had been focusing on the Earth seal, but I was close to getting that done.

So, I had time to do other things. Now, any sane person would use this time to maybe begin research on one project, maybe two. But I had three seal ideas that I had begun research on. Two of them were relatively new and the first one wasn't. 'Lets see what we have so far.'

"The Yang seal, or the Medical Seal as it was formally called. Many, many hours of studying Medical Jutsu and Yang Chakra in general will need to go into this. Chakra control will need to be better for this, so perhaps a few dozen control seals? No, that might overload things... Improvement is needed. More knowledge of the body may also be needed, but Yang Chakra may have healing properties already which is why one of the only requirements for Medical Jutsu is Chakra control... I'll look more into this later."

My notes were admittedly all over the place, I wrote them like I was talking to myself, and I also didn't really know what I was doing. I didn't know Medical Jutsu yet, I had little idea how true pure Yang Chakra felt. There was a lot more information I needed to gather. It was the seal I had the least info about right now. Luckily, in the end it would be fairly simple as I just needed to find a way to seal and control Yang Chakra.

At its core, Fuinjutsu was basically programming with words... At least to most people who threw Jutsu Shiki into it... Which was admittedly easier. . You had to make a program that could contain and shape something a certain way and release it a certain way. It was... difficult, but not impossible to understand. In simpler terms, it was basically "words have power if used in a certain way." It's complete Bullshit with with chakra ink, and special chakra inks that allowed certain stuff to be possible. Along with the seals that were basically Jutsu-shiki you could theoretically do anything! Well, not anything, you couldn't seal anything like gravity. That was just impossible. Nor could you just magically bring someone back from the dead or something using solely Fuinjutsu.

My other two Fuinjutsu ideas were both more complex and easier at the same time. It was weird. But they were called the Reversal seal, and the Chakra Zone seal

The Reversal seal was simple in concept, send chakra into someone elses body and disrupt their chakra flow as they were doing something. A real painful distraction, even if it was just for a moment. It basically involved screwing up the Chakra System's flow with a bit of my own. It was complex, and basically already a jutsu in Naruto. But it was still there. It was called the reversal seal because it basically would try to reverse your chakra flow... I was really uncreative with that name.

The Chakra zone was basically like the Mana Zone from Black Clover. Except 10 times harder and you had to also learn Barrier Jutsu. But the idea was simple, create a barrier, use jutsu shiki and seals to use your chakra from anywhere, profit. Basically, the ultimate fuck you attack. It was what I had in mind to deal with Obito. It wouldn't be easy, but I had lots of prep time anyways. So, I wasn't worried about it. But, researching barriers was a real bitch.

I was imagining using these all in tandem when I first compiled them all together. First, you use the Chakra Zone, then the Reversal seal, and then as you're attacking, use the medical seal to heal as your fighting. It was one of my "Final" moves I had planned. The other two were far more simple. 'I should go practice a bit more now...' I had lots of free time since I was putting less of it into the Earth seal, any day now I'd get it down.

And ooh boy, that day was going to be a really, really, really horrible one for the world at large. There were more things I could do than I originally thought. With my dragon idea, I could have it spit out fire, I could create literal firebombs, I could probably sorta replicate the Zetsu technique. Maybe. I wasn't too sure about that last one.

But I was going to become 10 times stronger at least as soon as the seal was done. I was practically going to be one of the best... It brought a smile to my face, it wouldn't be nearly enough. But it was a beautiful start.

I smiled as I looked up. "Oh what a beautiful time."

Now, it was time for bed.

This chapter is pretty short, I wanted it to be longer, but I got tired of writing and finished writing this another day, but at least I got it done! I've been focusing on a new project for a while now and I'm trying to get it upload ready in a few weeks.

As of rewriting this AN, yeah that project died lol. And this chapter is under 3k words, which sucks, and I'm sorry, but I just couldn't get over the hump with this one.
