This next chapter involves a story I read from TitanicDisaster's current story he's doing. And to showcase how powerful Creator is, even if he toned down his powers.
"A girl with a Time Stone?" Flare looks at him with crossed arms. "Why are you obsessed with an Infinity Stone? Aren't they, like, trinkets to us? I mean, c'mon. Not even Thanos could use them against us!"
"Who said it's an Infinity Stone?" Creator responds, his eyes glinting with intrigue. "The stone she possesses is far more enigmatic than an Infinity Stone. When I first encountered her grandmother years ago, I was captivated by the stone as I observed her and her dinosaur companion. If they were to cross paths with me, they would be in grave danger."
Chameleo tilts his head. "So, why didn't you?"
"I don't engage with those who lack the capacity to confront me, even if I were to diminish my powers to battle a warrior like her, or her friend who goes by the name 'Doc.' The girl, however, she could be the potential vessel we seek, a valuable addition to the Council of Creators." Creator gazes up at the sky. "There was one, however, who I believed was worthy of being a vessel."
Flashback
A beautiful forest manifested in the flashback, with the trees being blown by the wind, birds chirping in the peaceful day. Meanwhile, flying across the sky was a human with artificial wings and a suit of steel and leather. Not to mention purple clothing. He also wears an aviator's cap. He landed on a boulder. He took off his goggles, revealing himself to be a fifteen year old boy with pink eyes. He breathed in fresh air and sighed. He saw a few birds flying.
"I see you came back, Raymond."
Raymond sees a humanoid snow leopard approach him. This is Barlin, the alchemist. Since his arrival, he has helped Spyro and Sparx get back home and helped Raymond have a family.
"I couldn't resist a bit of sightseeing, Barlin," Raymond said with a cheerful smile as he slid down the boulder and landed. "I'm eager to reunite with my dad after all these years."
Barlin chuckles as he picks up some plants for his potions. "Yeah. When you see Spyro, tell him I said hi."
Raymond looks at him. "You don't wanna see him and the dragons?"
"No, I just got some work to do here. I gotta prep some potions in case of situations to happen."
"Good point. Maybe I can help out a bit."
"I'd love that!" Barlin nodded.
The two went through the forest looking for herbs and ingredients for future potion-making.
A strong wind suddenly starts blowing from nowhere, surprising the two. Raymond backs up to Barlin, perplexing both of them.
"Since when did it suddenly start to get windy!?" Raymond asks in concern.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this!"
The two hear a tearing noise in front of them. They look straight to see a tear beginning to form, with metallic claws peeking out. The two are surprised when the portal begins to open from thin air. A hooded figure emerges from it, holding a tome on his side. Both of them look at the mysterious figure in confusion.
Silence.
Both sides spoke no words or made no movements. The only sound was the wind blowing, swaying his cloak from the elements and breezing his clothing.
"Who are you?" Raymond asks the figure.
Creator looks up at Raymond, as his Plague Doctor goggles gleamed, showing his reflection.
"Are you Raymond?"
The two gulped and gasped at hearing the figure saying Raymond's name.
Raymond shakes his head and glares. "How do you know my name? And who are you?"
"It's of no concern to you." Creator responds vaguely. "All you need to know is you are coming with me."
Barlin steps in. "No way! You're NOT taking my friend away from here! This is his home!"
"Yeah," Raymond steps up. "And frankly, you don't wanna mess with the two of us, bud!"
"I wouldn't advice facing me." Creator calmly responds. "You wouldn't stand a chance."
Raymond springs his wings. "I can easily take you down. Here I come!" He zooms at Creator with his swords.
He then stabs him on the chest. While it made contact, he wasn't fazed, nor showed any injury. Raymond looks down and gasps at what he sees. Barlin's eyes widened in shock as well. Raymond sees his swords phased through him, while still leaving holes where he stabbed his chest.
Barlin's pupils shrunk in terror. "His swords, phased through him. Just, who is this guy?"
Raymond stares at Creator, glaring under his goggles in shock that he didn't land a hit. Creator extends his fist backwards, setting his sights at Raymond. His arm then suddenly engulfs in a black coating.
"Raymond, MOVE!"
Raymond gasps from Barlin's yell and jumps away from Creator's punch. He hit his punch on the ground, as a big crater formed where he stood. The two backed away in shock.
"So be it. You have been warned."
Creator pulls out his tome and uses an incantation while he opens the book and flips through the pages. The two see a white glow emit from him, watching some aura fly out and enter the tome. As soon as the last bit of it went in, he closes the tome."
"If you won't come with me, then I'll challenge you. I used my tome, to purposely weaken myself, to match your skills, Raymond. If you beat me, you and Barlin are free. Lose, you both come with me."
Barlin looks at him in concern. "Raymond, don't do it!"
"He doesn't have much choice." Creator snaps his fingers, conjuring a barrier to prevent them from escaping. Creator clenches his fist as he got into a fighting pose.
"Raymond, please. It's too dangerous!"
"Barlin, we don't have a choice! We can't escape. We gotta try to beat him." Raymond assures him. "We've fought Gaul before, and we can with this guy. Together."
Barlin swallows in fear, but nods. "Alright, I'm with you."
"Very well, I accept your challenge." Raymond obliges.
Creator huffs as he begins to glow in a purple aura. His claws shows crackling purple lightning, similar to a Convexity Spyro and a few use. The two look at him in surprise from his aura spewing out. Creator looks at the two as the scenery became a watery background with detailed ambiance.
REALTY ESPADA!
Creator strikes the ground with an upper swing, as streaks of sharp energy blades quickly approach the two. They dodged the attack, only for it to hit the trees and instantly split apart with a crash. Both Raymond and Barlin got up from the attack, but didn't notice Creator teleport before them. They gasped and dodged his punch and did a backflip somersault. Raymond readies his wings and flies to Creator with his swords. Creator's arms engulf the same black coating, blocking his sword attacks.
Raymond looks at this in shock. How is he able to block his swords with his arms? What sort of sorcery is this?
Finger Pistol
Raymond dodges his claw finger, swings his sword to strike, but can't land a hit. Barlin cups his paws and touches the ground as spikes spew from the ground towards Creator.
Mist Walk
Creator simply disappears in mist form, dodging the attack.
"Where'd he go?" Barlin looks around for any signs of him.
He and Raymond search for wherever he may strike, keeping their guard up. The mist behind Barlin begin to merge back, with Creator about to strike. Raymond notices and flies towards Barlin to protect him. Creator sees Raymond flying towards him, and lands a hit on his chest with a punch. Creator groans from the hit, but didn't flinch. He glares at the albino boy and lands a punch on him. As Raymond is knocked back, he shoots lightning at him, but Creator absorbs the lightning with his claws.
Creator grunts as he shoots the lightning back at Raymond. He manages to fly away from the attack. He conjures ice orbs and tosses them at Creator. Creator simply dodges them, catches one with his arm, which froze but immediately broke the ice off him.
Raymond quickly flies to Barlin, just as he saw Creator about to land an attack, but Barlin keeps dodging his punches, each creating a crater from the impact. Rocks began to fly around, boulders were destroyed, even the trees are cut in half. Raymond grabs Barlin as he held onto his legs. Raymond flies up, somehow able to carry Barlin's weight. Creator simply uses the smoke to cover himself, to confuse the two. They both looked around for him, not letting their guard down. A huge shadow began to zoom to them, but they were prepared. Raymond focus his energy to use both lightning and ice, while Barlin uses his magic to aid.
The two then took aim, and launched a powerful attack at the shadow. They hit the target. Direct hit! The two smiled at their hit, but immediately their expression changed when they saw the shadow they attack, was nothing but a broken tree. The two looked around for him, but Creator manifested and grabs Raymond by the face, as he did the same with Barlin.
"You both aren't…" Creator readied himself.
Raymond grabs his arm to attempt to freeze it, to try to escape.
Creator's goggle eyes glowed in a blood red aura. "EVEN CLOSE!"
The ice spreading on his arm broke off as the same red lightning aura from before emerge.
VOIDLESS HOLE!
He threw the two really hard, as his view of the toss is shown three times. Raymond and Barlin were falling, but Barlin takes out a potion as he opened it. The two landed and a huge crater was formed. The forest around them blew up from the impact, with the ground cracking and sinking.
Creator watches the part of the land breaking, disappointed at what happened. "I knew he and his friend would suffer the consequences." He looks away with a sigh, and then to the hole. "Fortunately, for them, they will be spared. But I'll keep an eye on them. Perhaps I'll be misjudged the next time I meet them." He raises his metallic fingers to the sky. "Till we meet again, Raymond."
Undo Time!
He snapped his fingers, and the events of the battle never happened while the whole event ended with a bright light.
End of flashback
"I guess you didn't get what you want with the boy after all?" Ankou looks at Creator. "And why spare the two if they aren't worthy?"
"Oh, he will join us eventually." Creator looks away. "All he needs is a little motivation. Like how I did with the girl holding the stone." Creator opens a portal. "Let's leave, before we were spotted."
The three walk with Creator and left the Great Valley. But little did they know, a certain Pterodactyl in a orange color overheard and saw everything.
Chapter done. For context, the goal of the Council is to find worthy warriors to join in the ranks, in a similar approach from the Organization, but their methods are unknown and different. As for the dinosaur who saw them, you know who it is. I had Creator undo the encounter, for he sometimes feels like he breaks the rules for facing off someone who can't endure his speed and attacks, as his way of giving the opponent a second chance to improve themselves for another encounter with him. And for those who cheated against him, let's just say he has way more horrifying punishments that are worse than death.
Oops, I got carried away with the details lol! More chapters to come, bye.
