*A/N* - Greetings! I hope you're having a great day! Well, now you are because you happened to come across this story… hopefully lol. But moving aside from this weak introduction, thanks for checking this story out. Truth be told, the idea of this story came about from viewing one of the Genshin Impact videos where Aether was AFK and Navia was trying to get his attention.

If you've seen the video, you'd get what happens. Same with the Furina one which was funny. Alas, this is how this strange and comedic story came about. I'll be taking from that idea and sort of making a little story out of it for various girls. Now then, enough of me rambling on. I hope you'll enjoy it and have a good day.

The feeling of being ignored has got to be one of the worst feelings ever… at least, that's what Navia was thinking right now as she stared right into the eyes of her most cherished (and beloved) partner. It had been what one would call a coincidence to see the Traveler out of the corner of her eye. She had merely meant to run to the Court of Fontaine to get a few errands done when she spotted him standing in front of a wall.

Wasting no time to see him, Navia eagerly walked over to the blonde-haired boy and stood right behind him with a bright smile on her face.

"Hello, my dear partner!"

"…"

No response came from the Traveler.

'Huh? Perhaps… he didn't hear me?' Navia thought to herself.

Deciding to step behind him until she was only a few inches away from touching him, she happily called out to him again.

"Aether! This is a surprise!"

"…"

Still, nothing came as a response from him.

At this point, Navia was sure that something might be wrong with him given that anytime she had called out to him in the past, he would immediately look for her voice, and when he did find her, he would have one of the most amazing smiles on his face. A smile that… always managed to make her heart rate speed up and the feeling of butterflies flying around in her stomach. This was obviously the feeling one would have when… well, having fallen in love with someone.

"Aether? Are you okay?"

The concern on Navia's face was becoming more relevant as her face had shifted to one of concern. This had never happened before. At least, to her recent memory of meeting Aether. From the many times that they hung out or encountered each other all around Fontaine, she had never seen the Traveler in a state like this.

Deciding to see if Aether was all right, Navia gently lifted her gloved finger and placed it on his shoulder. Normally, anyone would react to having their shoulder touched or grabbed, but the Traveler continued to remain motionless. This was starting to become quite an unusual problem.

"Partner?"

Getting no reaction at all, Navia wasn't sure what was happening but decided to see if he was ok by stepping in front of him.

*gasp*

"Huh?"

The President of Spina di Rosula was now stuck between a crossroads of a decision. Confusion was etched on her face as she lifted one eyebrow while letting her beautiful blue eyes scan the boy's face up and down before realizing that something was extremely off.

Aether was still motionless to the point that nothing seemed off at all. But the crazier realization was that his eyes were still open and looking straight forward ultimately at the wall. It was as if he was watching something moving along the wall or in deep thought perhaps. However, this idea was starting to become misaligned with Navia's interpretation as she even waved her hand in front of him but didn't get a single reaction.

"Aether? Are you… Is something the matter? I've been calling you for a moment now. Are you in shock?"

"…"

There was still no visible reaction to the boy's face at all. It was almost as if he was a statue. A very detailed life-like statue.

Having a multitude of ideas pop into her head, Navia brought her gloveless hand up to his side and lovingly caressed his cheek hoping to get a nudge or glance from him. Alas, the blonde-haired boy did nothing but continue to stare straight forward. In an attempt to get a reaction, Navia gracefully brought her hand up and was about to tap his head when she once again called out to him.

"Aether. Is it alright if I touch you? Do I have your permission?" She asked while letting her gorgeous blue orbs stare into his own. "Partner? You there?"

"…"

Letting out a sigh, Navia would accept the consequences of her actions and take responsibility for whatever happens. However, for now, she would calmly slide her gloveless hand atop Aether's head in what could best be described as caressing a head from a romantic perspective.

Now playing with the Traveler's head, Navia couldn't help but feel mesmerized in a trance-like state. This feeling was something that she could get quite addicted to. Her imagination started to take off to a place that… shall never utter to a single soul.

Alas, after caressing her beloved partner's head for a minute, Navia realized that what she was doing might be too much and instantly threw her hand back. An apologetic expression appeared on her face.

"I-I'm sorry about that, Aether. I got carried away."

"…"

Once again, the blonde-haired traveler was not reacting at all. His eyes didn't even blink which was starting to give Navia another idea about his behavior. This resulted in her putting her hands on her hips and tilting her head right at him.

"Aether? Are you purposely ignoring me?" Navia said while expressing a pouting look.

The look on her face would be one that anyone could describe as being utterly cute and adorable. With her makeup done and her appearance being outright graceful, Navia's pout was something that would make anyone's heart skip a beat. It also didn't help that her cheeks were flushed pink.

"Traveler? Partner? Please answer me. Aether? I'm starting to get worried… and upset."

"…"

Raising her gloved hand, she started waving it in front of the Traveler's face while making sure to scan his face for any movement. Nothing happened.

She then started making funny-looking faces which resulted in her pretty much just smiling in a silly manner. There was still no reaction from the boy.

Picking up her hat, she then placed it on Aether's head and straightened it out so that it looked fashionably perfect on him. Navia couldn't help but giggle to herself. Alas, the blonde boy didn't react at all.

The blonde-haired girl then took her sunglasses and put them on the boy while making sure he looked neat and ordered. She couldn't help but giggle at how cool he looked. This gave her some thoughts to ponder for another time. However, he still did not move in the slightest.

Another idea that came to her was to flip a Mora coin in front of him and see if his eyes would wander. This idea ended up being the same as the others. No reaction.

In a blushing fit, Navia gave the boy one long look into his eyes before flashing him a very romantic wink. The kind of wink someone would express to their significant other. Emotions and all were now on display with a gentle yet blinding smile on her lips. Again, the Traveler did not react.

"…"

"Aether…?"

"…"

Lowering her head in a defeated state, Navia went down the list she had created in her head on how to get a reaction from the boy. The next idea she had came to her was one that… did seem a bit embarrassing. However, it appeared that nobody else was around them, which gave her a bit of inner strength to try this idea out. This might be one of the crazier ideas but at this point, she'd try a bunch of things to get a reaction from her dear partner.

In one fluid move, Navia lifted both of her hands and started dancing by waving her hands in front of her while just giggling to herself. She knew that she'd look a bit ridiculous doing this in front of the person she admired and… loved so much. Nevertheless, she also felt a bit happy doing this and how silly it would be to look back on it.

Continuing to do this, she then shifted her body to the side and moved her hands down below while moving her body in a rhythmic sequence. Moreover, as strange as this looked the one thing that could be stated clearly was that the President of Spina di Rosula had one of the brightest smiles on her face.

Turning herself around, Navia continued to dance without a care and even moved her hat around to match the rhythm playing inside her head. She then turned around expecting to see Aether in the same state she'd seen him this entire time when something outright blasphemous happened.

The blonde-haired boy's eyes traveled up and down with even a slight head turn before he jolted back to being a statue again.

"Aha! I saw that! Aether!" Navia shouted while pointing her gloved finger at him.

The blonde girl's expression also matched that of a red apple with how dark her cheeks had become.

Soon enough, a chuckle escaped the Traveler's mouth as he had a charming smile on his face.

"Alright, alright. You got me."

"Hmph. What are you playing at? I've been calling you for the past five minutes!" Navia exclaimed with her blushing face. "You purposely ignored me!"

Raising his hands, Aether had to clear this situation up, "Hold on! Wait, Navia! I can explain."

Folding her arms across her chest, Navia eyed the boy closely, "I'm listening."

Scratching the back of his head, Aether began thinking about what his explanation should entail. The reason for this is that he was truly occupied for a good moment.

The otherworldly boy was indeed occupied as his mind had been elsewhere for quite some time. He shifted his focus on organizing his thoughts around what tasks, commissions, and errands he needed to get done. Furthermore, he was also thinking about which friends he should stop by, and visit given that Paimon had decided to spend the day around the Teapot and watch Venti play a game of chess against Zhongli. The two Archons had stopped by to visit him and were surprised to encounter one another again which ignited the idea of playing a game against one another while chatting. This resulted in Aether spending some time to himself which had him thinking about things in his own little world.

Now came the tricky part of explaining all this to Navia who had a stern yet cute look on her face. Seeing her like this scared him quite a bit but also caused his heart rate to pick up significantly. The girl standing before him truly was beautiful and meant a great deal to him. He was starting to lose himself while staring at her blue eyes.

"I… I was thinking to myself and just got lost in my thoughts. With Paimon staying in the Teapot today with some of our other friends, I had some time to myself and just started thinking about a bunch of things. Before I knew it, I was lost in my train of thought. I truly didn't mean to ignore you, Nav. I'm sorry."

Processing his explanation, Navia couldn't help letting out a sigh while letting a wave of embarrassment leave her. While it was relieving to hear that she wasn't being ignored purposely, she did realize that all the things she did to get his attention went unnoticed. This led to her pouting again and secretly wanting him to have noticed her do all that she did. Along with the fact that she touched him without his permission and-

'Wait a second…'

Something came to her mind in that split second. A sort of revelation revealed itself to her.

'Aether only broke out of his trance-like state when… when I was…'

Navia's thoughts had now uncovered a startling yet admittedly interesting fact about the Traveler. One that if proven right, then she would have the ultimate weapon and power play against her dear *partner*.

"So… let me ask you something, Aether."

Not sure what was going through her head, the Traveler had no reason not to hear what she had to say.

"Yeah? What's wrong? Again, I'm sorry for not noticing you."

A sly grin was now appearing on Navia's face as she knew exactly what to say.

"Hmm~ Well, there is one thing that I just thought of…"

Confused by the expression on her face, Aether pushed forward, "Huh? What's on your mind?"

Getting him right where she wanted him, Navia blinked her beautiful blue eyes at him for a split second before tilting her head forward and having the smugest look on her face.

"You were caught up in your own thoughts for quite a while…" She let a brief pause playout before bringing her gloved hand up and giving him a little wave of the fingers. "You snapped out of it when you saw me dancing… didn't you~?"

In just one blink of an eye, the Traveler's face had gone from his normal expressional face to what could be described as the red color of a Jueyun Chili. It was also remarkable to see his mouth left agape and in utter shock at what he had just heard. Never had she seen Aether look so distraught yet so embarrassed at the same time. It was honestly adorable.

"I-I… well, that's… it was all a coincidence. I promise you that. Haha! Yeah. That's all- "

"Soooo…" Navia then placed her hands on her hips and took a step toward the boy making it apparent that her eyes were not leaving his. "When I tapped you on the shoulder you didn't feel that?"

"Well, no. I didn't. I was lost in- "

"Or when I waved my hand in front of you? You didn't take notice at all of me trying to get your attention~ Hmm?"

Coughing into his fist, Aether stood his ground while still having his face flushed.

"I was really deep in thought. I'm sorry I didn't see- "

"Ah. But don't forget my dear partner, you also didn't snap out your conscious when I patted your head."

"You did?"

"Yes. I should also apologize for that. I should've asked for your permission first."

Shaking his head, Aether had a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, "No, no. It's alright. I don't mind. In fact, you're free to pat me on the head whenever. Paimon did it to me once and it was an odd feeling. But I didn't mind it."

Smiling brightly at that confirmation, Navia had plans to later use this in her favor. However, she also couldn't help the fact that she was narrowing down the Traveler's words and thoughts right to where she wanted.

"Well now, I'll definitely keep that in mind! Now then, you didn't feel me pat your head or hear me. And I'm guessing you didn't notice me putting my sunglasses on your face."

"Nope."

"Then that makes it so. You broke out of your trance-like state when you saw me dancing!"

Again, the boy's face was growing red, "Navia! It was a coincidence!"

"Uh-huh. While it is a bit embarrassing to have danced in front of you, I am rather happy that you snapped out of your strange state because of me. Ahaha!" Navia said while beginning to happily laugh while twirling her dress around.

The sight of the girl in such a positive mood was something that Aether wanted to see more of. Hence, he decided to forfeit his dignity this time around.

"…Fine. Fine. You win."

"Aha! I knew it! My, my I didn't know my dear *partner* was like that~ haha!"

"Heh. Yeah. You caught me. I've certainly got an eye for you~"

This claim caused the two blondes to immediately start blushing but also laughing at the same time creating a somber moment that neither would be forgetting any time soon.

"So, care to join me for some lunch? With Paimon staying in the Teapot, we might be able to afford a nice meal… that doesn't go over by a ton haha."

As Aether said this, he extended his arm out so that his hand was opened and waiting for his dear partner to accept.

"I thought you'd never ask!" Navia instantly took his hand and smiled brightly. "Lead on partner!"

Even as the two continued to walk to the nearest restaurant, the sound of their laughter could be heard getting further away. Yet, it still radiated a positive and heartfelt energy. As did their ever-growing bond.

*A/N* - Hey there, thanks for checking this story out. As for how this sort of story will be going along, I'll be doing other chapters with the other girls. I've already got an idea of who will be next. Beidou, Eula, Ayaka, Jean, Furina, Keqing, and Ei. Now, I'm not entirely sure when the next chapter will be out but it's in the works. Might also do a bit of Lumine to add more hilarious reactions among the characters. Not entirely sure yet. I also just wanted to make this a fun little story that can get a good chuckle or pass the time as entertainment. Either way, thanks again for checking this chapter out and until the next time, take care.
