I am not participating in Tumblr's Whumptober. I wanted to use the prompts provided to write short stories about Jane and Maura that fit the daily prompt. Each chapter will be the prompt for that day. I may not publish it on that day but Chap 1 will be October 1, Chap 2, October 2, etc. I hope you enjoy my fluffy stories. I might post multiple chapters at the same time.

Book #14 Boston, a Sunday morning like any other: Nicholas Brandt leaves the house, waves to his daughter Lily one last time, and jumps on his bike. A few minutes later, he enters a bakery – and suddenly starts shooting. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Elizabeth Rizzoli's daughter Ashlyn is forced to take on Brandt's defense.

Maura fixes Jane after a strong-arm pursuit with a suspect.

I close the door and lean against it for a moment before shaking my head and climbing the stairs to my bathroom to enjoy that well-deserved and long-awaited bath. As I sip my glass of red wine, my thoughts wander back to Jane. Again, there are these feelings that I simply can't name and this almost irresistible urge to do something. But what? For what? Against what? Why?

AU: After Paddy Doyle's shooting Jane and Maura find themselves at odds. When they finally make up Jane discovers that she is pregnant and they have to figure out where to go from there. Established Rizzles with a little bit of drama thrown in.

Maura receives a special guest in her office to help on a particular case.

Jane has everything to be happy, she's married to Maura, she's pregnant but there's something bothering her.
