Sequel of Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Episode 1:
Guardians of Pai Zhua
February 2009, Months after Casey, Lilly, and Theo took down Dai-Shi. They became the Masters of Pai Zhua. Casey is now a master at the academy. Being the teacher, he sees three fifteen year old boys who hold the animal spirits that are very similar to other familiar masters.
Elliot: Tall, can fight while blindfolded, and uses his hearing to help see who or what is coming without even opening his eyes.
Blake: Slim, Muscular, and has very impressive strength for someone short.
John: Shorter than Elliot, taller than Blake, can chop with his hands, strikes first, and can swim swiftly through the water.
Casey eyes these boys, they all have such impressive strength and agility. The only thing that they are lacking is teamwork. These boys could be the next guardians and masters of the academy. The only thing that holds them back is the ability to work with others, including each other. The boys walk their separate ways. Casey calls out to them "Blake! Elliot! John!" The three boys all look at Casey. Casey jesters for them to come with him.
Inside of the Temple
Casey gathers the three boys into the temple. They all look around and see all of the carvings that show the great battles against Dai-Shi. Casey tells them about his battle with Dai-Shi, the boys feel pretty annoyed by the story they've heard millions of times. Casey grabs their attention. They all stand straight, Casey talks to them "you've all got what it takes to become Masters and Guardians of this Temple" the boys smirk, knowing that they are the top students of the academy. Casey slams a stick down on the shelf "but you all lack teamwork, maturity, and your power to use them!" The boys are confused. John steps forward and asks "What do you mean by all of that? We have what it takes to do all that!" Casey responds "you all refuse to work with others!" he then recalls a few times the boys didn't help, train, or do any of the physical tests out in the woods with the groups they were assigned. "These kids suck! Like we would wanna work with them!" Elliot says to Casey. "I don't even wanna work with these two!" said Blake, while pointing at Elliot and John. Both boys are offended, "wanna say that again?" asked Elliot, "you're one to talk!" said John, they both wanna fight Blake. Casey stops them "enough!" the room goes silent.
Casey begins to explain about another follower of Dai-Shi "Master Mao told me about another being that is worse than Dai-Shi, this being hasn't seen the day of light or any light before he was sealed away by other masters before Mao!" Elliot asks Casey "so what's the deal? I never heard of this "being" and neither has anyone else!" Casey sighs, but keeps his cool "this being is called 'Slayer' he possesses the spirit of a beatle. One day, he got fed up being called useless by everyone at the academy, so he turned to Dai-Shi and learned from him. Only he got the powers from him along with the power of the crystal eyes!" The room gets tense, it is all silent. One student comes into the room and tries to ask Casey a question but turns around hoping to come back later. Blake asks Casey "so this was a student here?" feeling curious. Casey nods "yes, Slayer was once a student here. Back when Master Mao was a student as well." Elliot asks Casey "so what happened to him?" Casey responds "the masters did all what they can to destroy Slayer, only they had to sacrifice themselves to save the entire academy and world. Before Dai-Shi was sealed, years later Slayer was sent far away making Dai-Shi unaware of his whereabouts. He was sealed away, locked up as a small golden sphere." Elliot sighs with relief "oh thank god." "Yeah, we don't gotta worry, just relax and kick back!" Blake says with a relaxing attitude. John is curious about the whole thing, he asks Casey "where is he sealed?" Casey explains "Slayer was sent to a deserted planet out of Dai-Shis radar." John asks curiously "And is he sent to a deserted planet that is only known to us!" Casey nods to Johns question.
Deserted Planet
An alien being was just kicked out of his hometown and wants to get revenge on his people. He hides in a cave to keep himself sheltered. Inside of the cave, he sees a golden sphere, he thinks it is something to play with. He bounces it on the wall and goes back to him, he thinks it is a fun game, he keeps bouncing it and bouncing it until the ball shatters. A Black Beetle Like Armored being groans, yawning from its slumber. The alien looks at the being with excitement, he then says "hello there! My name is Klong!" The being looks at Klong with glowing eyes, he responds "My name is Slayer! I have been sealed for centuries!" he says in a deep robotic tone. Klong jumps for joy "hooray! Evil! Destroy my town for me!" he says with puppy dog eyes. Slayer is annoyed, but decides to test out his powers on the town for Klong.
NOTE: Think of "Klong" like a wannabe Frogger, but only gray and a one piece red suit.
Cut to the city that Klong was kicked out of
Slayer and Klong destroy the hometown. Everyone screams and cries in pain, blood and gore splatter everywhere. One lady screams "my baby! My baby!" with sadness. Another man yells" oh god, make the pain go away!" everyone screams and screams, crying for their lives. Klong claps with excitement getting revenge on all of the townspeople that were annoyed by him. "Yay yay yay! That's what happens when you fuck with Klong!" he says with excitement. Klong stomps on his parole officer's skull. Slayer blows up two houses in the neighborhood. Klong then steals all of the weapons from the shop "Slayer sir! We can take these with us! The weapons would be great use for our travels!" Slayer wants to kill Klong but decides to take him along for the ride. "Very well, Klong. Your life shall be spared!" he says to him. Klong claps his hands and jumps for joy.
Pai Zhua Academy
The boys walk out of the temple. Both Blake and Elliot talk about how stupid it was for Casey to make them train in teamwork. John says to them "hold on, maybe this is something we should do!" The two boys look at John "what?" asked Blake, wondering if John said something stupid. Elliot comes over to John "Johnny, Johnny, please. It's just a stupid ball. It's not like there is anything living there that could wake up this 'Slayer' thing." John stands there "no, Casey is right! We do lack the things that we don't have! We should go stay with that master" he says to them. Blake is disgusted "no! We got better things to do than train with some weird old man." Elliot backs Blake up "yeah, I mean three young boys staying with an old man? That's like asking to get the cops involved." John ignores Elliot "Well I'm going! This is something that we should do! We have the world to care about. We can't let this opportunity stop us!" he says to them. John turns to go back to the temple "I'm going to train with this…" John thinks for a moment and says "well, I forgot his name, but I'm telling Casey that I'm going!" he keeps walking back to the temple to talk to Casey. Elliot and Blake look at each other, they are dumbfounded. "Can you believe this?" asked Elliot in a shock of terror. Blake responds "Yeah, I can." he then faces Elliot "We barely talk to each other." Elliot facepalms "no! This! John!"
John heads back into the temple, he and Casey walk out. Casey tells John where he should go. "So, I should be heading to this town called 'Mauville'?" he asks curiously. Casey nods "yes, you should go there and you will find a man called Al! He's trained to help work with teamwork and communication. And studied the works of Slayer. His ancestor helped battle Slayer during the attack at the school." John is amazed by the works of Al, he doesn't know what to say about his journey. John gets confident and leaves the temple to start his journey.
Cut to the open roads
It is a very long journey for John, he keeps walking and walking, going through different towns. He even rides a cargo train to get there faster. John makes it all the way to Mauville.
Mauville Entrance
John walks past the sign that says "Welcome to Mauville" he looks around, he holds a piece of paper that has an address on it. He walks past a few rundown houses. Some thugs jump out of one of the rundown houses. The thugs try to rob John, he is unamused, he fights the thugs using the kung fu moves he has learned at the academy on them. The thugs take out their switchblades, getting ready to stab John, he kicks the blades out of their hands, and knocks the thugs down. More and more thugs jump out to try and attack John, he is outnumbered. John is about to be taken down, until he sees two more people jump out of nowhere to fight them. It is Elliot and Blake, they fight off the thugs. The thugs are knocked out cold. John asks them "I thought you weren't coming?" Blake responds "and see you on the news!" Elliot adds on "if you are going to see this old man, you better have some backup." Elliot still believes that the old man is a pervert. John rolls his eyes. Blake and John both look at the address and find the street signs. Blake tells John "you gotta check the map" he pulls out a map of the town. John is surprised "where did you find this?" he asks Blake. Blake responds "always check the visitors center for a brochure and map." Elliot walks five feet behind them. They all go down the streets, ignoring the citizens that are looking at them weird. The citizens are looking at them weird, because they are still in their Pai Zhua uniforms. Elliot tells them that the street sign is next to him. Blake and John look up from the map to see the street sign. They turn left and go deep into the neighborhood. They look up to see tall buildings. "Which building is where this 'Al' guy living?" Blake asks while looking at every tall building in the city. Elliot points "Well, it ain't tall" he says, looking at his left. John and Blake look to see a short, two storied floor building. "Is that a Mechanic shop?" Blake asks them. "It can't be the place?" John says, feeling confused. Elliot snatches the address out of Johns hands, he looks at the address and compares the written one to the one on the sign "well, it is!" he says to the two.
Als Car Mechanic - Garage
The boys walk into the garage, they see that the place is filled with cars, tools, and other junk. A man comes out of his office, he looks at the boys with a strange look on his face "you boys are a little young to be driving?" he says to him. The boys are confused "We're looking for an Al?" John says to him. Al chuckles "I'm Al! I'm the man of Al's Car Mechanic!" he says with a texan accent. The boys get really confused "we're here for training? Not for a car?" Blake says, feeling confused. Al is confused "training? Training for what?" he asks them. Elliot is aggravated "never mind! Just some stupid prank!" he says to Al. Elliot turns around and heads out of the door. Blake asks "do you know anything about spirit animals?" feeling curious. Al laughs "if you're asking about this 'animal' type, well I guess I'm the spirit of a crocodile!" he says with a chuckle. Blake and John are bummed out. "That's not funny!" Elliot says to Al angrily. Blake grabs Elliot, he tucks him over to the door. They all walk away and leave the garage.
Outside of Al's Car Mechanic
The boys walk outside to find out that they have been tricked. "Can't believe that Casey tricked us!" Elliot says, feeling annoyed. "Yeah, we had better things to do than do this!" Blake says to them, he kicks a can over to a parked car. John is bummed out, he doesn't know what to do "looks like our quest has come to an end" he says to them "let's find a bus station" he says feeling down. John stands there and looks back at the garage, Elliot and Blake walk back the way they came. John follows behind.
Downtown Mauville
The boys try to find their way back, they go to the bus station. On their way over a few RinShi pop out. The boys are confused, they know that the henchmen are gone. The boys fight them off, knocking them down one by one.
More and more foot soldiers appear, John unleashes his animal spirit "spirit of the shark!" a blue shark pops out of him attacking the RinShi destroying them. Elliot is surrounded by more and more RinShi, they are around him. Elliot manages to kick a few away then unleashes the spirit of a bat "spirit of the bat!" he calls out. A light lavender bat pops out of him, it flaps its wings striking the henchmen. Blake sees more and more henchmen coming his way, he knocks them over using his elephant spirit "I call out the spirit of the elephant!" he says. A green elephant pops out of Blake, it tackles the RinShi like an american football player tackling through the defense. John, Elliot, and Blake all look, they see more and more RinShi come over. "There's too many of them!" said Elliot. John keeps his guard up "we can't stop now!" he says to them. "We gotta do something, we're gonna fall if this keeps up!" Blake says to them. They are about to let out their animal spirits as a group until an orange crocodile comes out of nowhere and chomps out all of the RinShi. The boys are flabbergasted, they look over to see a familiar face in the distance. Al stands there, lowering his hands, he just unleashed his animal spirit 'the crocodile' taking down the remaining foes. Al looks at the boys with a serious look "you guys okay?!" he calls out to them. John, Elliot, and Blake all drop their jaws. The remaining henchmen disappear out of site. Al says to them "come on, this aint safe!" jestering them to come with him. The boys don't know what to do, they decide to follow Al back to his garage.
Als Car Mechanic - Yoga Room
Al brings the boys to his yoga room, he shows them the room "this is where you'll be training! My Yoga Room! It's not much, but it will do for what we have going on!" he says to them. Elliot is confused, he asks AL "wait, if you're our master, why didn't you believe us earlier!?" Al nods to Elliot, he explains, "you would have to prove it to us that you were ready to work with me! I can't just let someone come off the streets to work, you gotta earn your way into my session!" Blake then asks AL his question "so what did we have to do? Show our animal spirits?" feeling confused by all of this. Al answers back "your proof to show that you are worth protecting our planet. Pai Zhua doesn't just select our guardians, they must prove with honor and not cockyness!" He eyes the boys, knowing that they have a lot to work with. John shyly asks "so, if we are worth protecting this planet. Why didn't you believe us? Why make us leave?" Al responds "I didn't, you all left. You all proved that you didn't want to be here. That was the first test you failed!" The boys are shocked to learn that they have failed. "Wait, so we failed, but yet you brought us back here?" asked Elliot. Al responds "yes, but by pure luck you all proved me wrong. You all fighting to protect this town showed that you are worth being the guardians of this planet and to take down Slayer!" he says to them. He jesters them to come with him.
Als Car Mechanic - Living Area
Al guides the boys to his living area, it is a living room with a kitchen and a mini dining area all in one room. He shows the boys that this is where they will be eating, lounging, and understanding the value of teamwork. The boys are confused "so if the living area is where we will understand 'teamwork' why give us a yoga room?" Blake asks, feeling confused. Al answers him "because, this is where we learn our mental teamwork and learn to bond with each other. Plus, we have to do a little homeschooling for yall." The boys all look at each other and look at AL in confusion, they ask "we?" wondering what AL meant by that. By perfect timing, a lady walks into the living area, from the front door, with groceries in her hand. She also speaks with a Texan accent "They didn't have your flaming hot cheetos so I got you buffalo wing chips…" she looks up to see that she has guests in her home. "Oh Hi, I didn't know we were having people over?" She says to them. Al introduces the boys to his wife "boys, this is my wife 'Connie' she will also be your master!" the boys are surprised. Connie notices that the boys are wearing Pai Zhua uniforms "Yep, and I see that you are all from the academy!" she says to them. "Connie and I met at the academy, we both almost became the guardians of Dai-Shi. But we wanted to pursue other interests" Al explains to them. Connie adds on to Als explanation "there was also a guy who almost became guardian, but he wanted to travel and see the world" she then looks at Al with a smile "and so did we!"
Connie then grabs a yardstick and slams it on the table, she yells "and this is where we get serious!" the boys are in shock. Connie commands them to put away her groceries or they will sleep on the roof. Al demands them to do what Connie wants them to do. The boys hustle and help put away the groceries. They learn how to put them away as a team. Connie looks at Al with a smile on her face "I'm so glad we have kids to boss around!" she jumps for joy while clapping her hands. "Sometimes, you scare me honey" Al says to her. Connie points to her husband's chest "and you best believe it!" she then turns to see that the boys are putting the bread away in the wrong cabinet she slams her yardstick on the counter "hey! That is not where the bread goes!" she shouts to them, storming over to the kitchen area.
Slayers Cavern
Slayer is in his cavern doing a little redecoration, he renovates the cave to make it homey. Klong is excited to be on a new planet. "Oh boy, oh boy! I've never been outside of my planet before!" Klong jumps around. Slayer is annoyed but uses him for his own game. He gets the screen set up. A few RinShi jump into the lair, Slayer senses failure written on them, his eyes glow red.
Al's Car Mechanic - Als Private Workshop
Al guides the boys into the workshop. "This is where I do all of my private work! My own personal workshop!" he says to the boys. The guys are all worn out by Connies orders. "Dude, you didn't tell me your wife was gonna be our trainer too?" Elliot says to AL. AL nods "yes sir, Connie was once a master back at the academy! She was always a drill sergeant" he says to them. AL then opens up a chest, he shows the boys some gloves with some devices on them. Blake asks AL "what are these weird gloves?" Elliot adds on "if that is what you call it!" AL explains to them "these are your claw morphers, they are a two-piece transformation device that are worn over the forearms as gloved arm-guards." John asks AL "so they help us battle?" unsure if that is what AL is explaining to them. AL nods "yes John, these help channel your animal spirits and transform you into the warriors based on your animal spirits!" The boys are surprised to hear this. Elliot asks AL "didn't some weirdo do that with three oddballs?" AL responds "yes, and one of those oddballs would be Casey!" Elliot is shocked, mostly because he called his master, back at the academy, an oddball. Blake mutters to Elliot "I dare you to say that to his face" Elliot punches Blake in the arm. John stops these two from attacking each other "guys, stop! We're supposed to beat up Slayer, not each other!" AL is impressed with John, already showing a little bit of maturity. AL explains more to the guys "You guys will become: The Spirit Rangers!" AL says to them. Al explains more, "Your powers will be based on the previous masters that harnessed their animal spirits. Very similar to your animal spirits. They were originally created by the Phantom Beasts and controlled using the Crystal Eyes! They were originally used to take down the planet, but Casey and his crew stopped the phantom beasts and regained control of the spirit rangers. Casey was one of those Masters who took control of one of the spirit rangers, and now these rangers will be used by you guys! You will be the next group of guardians and the possessors of the Spirit Rangers!"
Connie comes into the room, she is proud to see these guys to gain and harness their powers, she explains "you guys will use them to help take down Slayer and his crew." AL says more "all you will have to do is say 'Spirit Rangers, Unleash!' and press the button on your left claw." Connie shows them a demonstration, "like this! Spirit Rangers! Unleash!" she expands her arms out, forms her left hand into a fist, her left hand lands on her right palm, her right hand secures her left, her right fingers slam on top of her left hand showing where and how to press the button. "So pretty much, it's like cracking your knuckles" John says to them.
NOTE: I decided to add the claw morpher into this. Just like in Gekiranger. In my opinion, I wasn't a fan of the Solar Morpher in Jungle Fury, but I did like the original idea, but I would've rather use the claws as the morpher so I decided to use them for the spirit rangers
An alarm goes off, AL goes over to the screen, he sees that Slayer has sent in a being dressed in a black cloak with sharp metal claws. Elliot comments on this "What is this, a bad rip off of The Grim Reaper!" Al orders the rangers to go, they head out. Connie and AL watch the rangers go out and save the day.
Downtown Mauville
The Cloaked figure walks with some RinShi right behind him, he throws his metal claws at everything he sees. The three rangers come over, John calls out to him "hey! We'll give you some entertainment!" The cloaked figure turns around, he pulls down his hood to show a silver balding head with red glowing eyes. Grimly (the monster), growls at the rangers. The boys all nod to each other, they get ready to morph "Spirit Rangers! Unleash!" The boys morph into the spirit rangers. They all morph with a glowing aura surrounding them, they are The Shark, Bat, and Elephant Rangers! John is the Aqua Shark Ranger, Elliot is the Dusk Bat Ranger, and Blake is the Lime Elephant Ranger.
NOTE: Yes, I did say "Aqua, Dusk, and Lime, mostly due to the appropriate facts the Shark is from the Water so Aqua is what I would call him. Same with the Bat being from the night which is what I would consider "Dusk." And Lime for Elephant, because at the time I came up with this I thought he was more "Lime" than " Regular Green." And I also considered Jarod and Camilie the Black and Green Rangers in my opinion.
The rangers are fully morphed and ready to battle. They face off against one of Slayers beings. This is the start of a new mission for The Spirit Rangers!
