I woke up, that couldn't have been just a dream. Bill was there; he had to have been. I couldn't have just dreamt that. I get up. It seems the Lizard people set out some non-blood-covered clothes for me to put on. I opt to continue wearing these. Bill will clean them for me. I get up and start towards the door when I hear a knock. "Sixer, we need to talk," Bill says, gently yet sternly.
I opened the door. "Bill," I said, half in tears, holding them back. We've been dating for the past 2 years. Is this 'The Talk'? I would pray, if he wasn't a demon. "Wh-What is it?" I stuttered.
He was blushing like crazy, his face was almost completely red. "I was going to do this the day we were sucked into this dimension." What is he talking about? "Ford," he got on one knee and pulled out a box. "Will you marry me?" I gasp, and look at the ring. It was a gold ring with triangular topaz crystals around it. "I made it myself," he mentions quietly.
"YES!" I exclaim and embrace him. The ring falls, but he saves it and puts it on my finger gently.
"I have one to" he shows me his, a diamond ring with a bunch of 6's carved into it "they will glow if one of us is in trouble"
He was so thoughtful, "Bill," I can't find the words, so I kiss him, long and deep. At first, he fell back in surprise, but then he slipped me a tease of tongue. I nibbled on it, "Bill," it all stopped.
"Yes Sixer?" he said quietly.
"Look at the door," he turned to see not only was it left open but a crowd of Lizard people were watching.
"Wh@t the fuk" one of them said, and we just froze.
I can't believe Ford accepted! Unfortunately, the lizard people saw, but they shouldn't care, right?
I smiled, then giggled a little bit. I had a few drinks before proposing. I don't think Ford noticed. Ford grabbed me up in a bridal carry and set me on his bed, kissing my forehead before leaving to go deal with the lizard people. He closed the door, and the room lost its light.
Bill got drunk. Of course. Why wouldn't he? I roll my eyes and start to explain everything to the Lizard people before going back to my room. I snuggle against Bill in the bed and fall asleep. Maybe I'll see him in my dream...
