Kanto Gets Loud
Chapter 23: Lincoln Vs. Gary
The next morning, in the Cerulean City Pokemon Center,
Morning came, as the three friends were starting to wake up. Lincoln was still tired after what had happened during the call home last night, but he was looking forward to the trip to Cerulean Cape. He sat up with a yawn, "Morning guys."
"Morning. Let's get some breakfast, and we can start heading out to Cerulean Cape," Brock suggested, as he went to go get changed in the bathroom.
"How are you feeling after last night?" Misty asked, as she fished out a change of clothes herself.
"Honestly, a good night's rest is just what I needed to clear my head. Though I do still feel a bit groggy," Lincoln replied, as he got his change of clothes, just as Brock exited the bathroom.
"Well, that's good to hear," Misty replied, as she went into the bathroom.
"I'm going to go and see what they've got as far as meals at the restaurant," Brock said, as he got his backpack, and exited the room.
"I'd better get changed too," Lincoln said, as he quickly switched out of his clothes and into a fresh set. And just in time too, as Misty exited the bathroom, "Brock went on ahead to see what the restaurant's breakfast specials are."
"Ok. I'm hoping they've got pancakes," Misty replied, as she and Lincoln got their bags, and exited the room.
"I'll go turn the key in to Nurse Joy. You go on and join Brock," Lincoln said, as he deviated from Misty to go to the front desk, "Thank you for letting us stay the night."
"You're most welcome. We hope you come back soon," Nurse Joy replied. Lincoln then went to join Misty and Brock in the restaurant, where they were skimming through the menu.
"Hey guys, anything good?" Lincoln asked.
"I think I'll just have the ham and eggs," Brock replied.
"A big stack of pancakes for me," Misty replied.
"Ok. Now, let's see what I want," Lincoln said, as he took a menu, "Hmm, maybe it'll be ham and eggs for me too."
"Alright then," Brock said, as the waiter came by, "Two ham and egg platters and a stack of pancakes."
"Sure thing. Anything to drink?" the waiter asked.
"Orange Juice for me," Misty replied.
"Decaf Coffee," Brock replied.
"I'll have milk," Lincoln replied. The waiter jotted all that down, and left to go place the order, "So, how are we going to reach Cerulean Cape?"
"Well, first we're going to have to cross the Nugget Bridge to get to Routes 24 and 25," Misty replied.
"Did you say the 'Nugget Bridge'?" Lincoln asked.
"Yep. Part of a challenge a few years back was that trainers would take on a gauntlet of 5 trainers while crossing the bridge. If they succeed, they're rewarded with a Nugget," Misty explained.
"And I'm guessing that since Nuggets are hard to come across, that the challenge kind of died off?" Lincoln asked.
"Pretty much. But back to the Cerulean Cape, it'll take about 3 days to get there by walking. Routes 24 and 25 are fairly long," Misty replied.
"I see. Well, there is something that I kind of need to do over at the Bridge," Lincoln replied. Both of his companions looked at him curiously.
"And that is?" Brock asked.
"Before the two of you got back yesterday, a trainer I met back in Pallet Town by the name of Gary challenged me to a battle at the Bridge, and he wants me to meet him there," Lincoln replied.
"Gary? As in Gary Oak?" Brock asked.
"That's right. You know him?" Lincoln asked.
"Indeed, I do. He challenged the Pewter Gym before Raigo took me on. A talented trainer, sure, but a bit full of himself," Brock replied.
"Are you sure you want to battle him? After all, you did have a pretty nasty bombshell dropped on you last night," Misty asked.
"I'm sure. Even though I'm not going to let what happened last night get to me, it's still chewing away at my mind. I'm hoping that taking Gary down a few pegs will put him in his place," Lincoln replied, just as their food arrived.
Later, at the Nugget Bridge,
The trio had just arrived at the Nugget Bridge, "So this is it then?" Lincoln asked.
"Yep. This bridge connects directly to the far end of Route 24," Misty replied, as she noticed a convertible about halfway across the bridge with a gaggle of girls hanging around it, "Is that a car with a bunch of girls lingering about?"
"Yeah, that must be Gary's car. I recognize the girls from yesterday. To be honest, I thought he was just blowing a bunch of hot air yesterday when he said something about his convertible," Lincoln replied.
"I was starting wonder if you were coming, or if you had just chickened out," the snide voice of Gary taunted, as he came into view, "Gotta say, it's kind of surprising that you're hanging out with two Gym Leaders. What, is that some sort of handicap since you must suck so bad?"
"Hey, I'll have you know that we're traveling with Lincoln because we feel like it. And Lincoln has plenty of skill behind him to back up his talk. Besides, he doesn't need a fancy car or a bunch of hussies as a means to overcompensate for a lack of something between his legs like you do!" Misty retorted.
"DAMN!" Lincoln, Brock, and Pikachu all yelled. Gary started to fume at the insult.
"How dare you?! I am NOT trying to overcompensate for anything! I just like the finer things in life! And to prove my point, I will crush this little white-haired twerp in battle!" Gary snapped, taking one of the Pokeballs off of his belt.
"Fine by me! Are we still playing by the rules I suggested yesterday?" Lincoln asked.
"Two-on-two, no substitutions. Those conditions work fine with me," Gary said, as the two of them stood at an equal distance from each other. Brock took up the spot in between them to act as referee.
"Kick this guy's sorry ass, Lincoln!" Misty called out.
"Will do," Lincoln said.
"Alright, here's my first Pokemon! Go, Abra!" Gary said, as he sent out a yellow, bipedal lizard like Pokemon with brown armor-like segments on its torso. It appeared to be floating in the air.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Lincoln wondered, whipping out his Pokedex.
"Abra, the Psi Pokemon, a Psychic Type. Abra sleeps for 16 hours a day, but can still sense things going on around it. When it senses danger, it will Teleport out and away to get away from its attackers," his Pokedex explained.
"Impressed? I caught this Abra a little bit ago while I was waiting for you to show up. Not only that, but I made sure that it was smartest one in the bunch," Gary boasted.
"A Psychic Type, huh? Well, I'd better fight a Psychic Type with a Psychic Type. It's time for your debut in battle, now go Ralts!" Lincoln exclaimed, as he sent out Ralts. Upon seeing Ralts sparkle upon materializing, Gary was shocked.
"What?! That's an extremely rare Pokemon, and a Shiny one at that too! How'd you find it?" Gary exclaimed.
"I received Ralts in a Wonder Trade back in Pewter City. She's probably the second youngest of my Pokemon," Lincoln replied.
"Wonder Trading? Maybe I should get in on that," Gary murmured.
"M-Mr. Lincoln? I assume you want me to battle?" Ralts asked.
"That's right, Ralts. And that's your opponent right over there," Lincoln replied, pointing towards Abra.
"An Abra? I can work with that," Ralts said, as she took her stand.
"Alright the first round is Ralts Vs Abra, begin!" Brock declared.
"Alright, lets go on the defensive and raise your evasiveness, Ralts. Use Double Team!" Lincoln instructed.
"O-Ok!" Ralts replied, as several copies of herself began to appear all over the battlefield.
"Ha, you think running and hiding is going to make a difference? Abra, hone in on the real Ralts' location, and attack with Confusion!" Gary instructed. To everyone's surprise, Abra only shook its head, "What?! What do you mean 'no'?!"
"Yeah, the thing is I don't actually know how to use Confusion just yet," Abra replied, speaking telepathically with Gary.
"Well, in that case what CAN you do?" Gary asked.
"I can use Teleport, but that's pretty much it," Abra replied.
"Mr. Lincoln, if Abra can't actually attack, does that mean we can go on the offensive?" Ralts asked.
"Seems like the logical choice. Alright, let's change tactics. Use Thunder Punch!" Lincoln instructed. Ralts' tiny hand became enveloped in electricity, as she charged straight at Abra. Sensing the oncoming attack, Abra instinctively teleported out of the way, causing Ralts to accidently punch Gary's car.
"Hey, careful with my car! That thing's delicate!" Gary called out.
"S-Sorry!" Ralts apologized, as she used her own telekinetic power to float back over to the battlefield.
"Ok, so if we can't attack physically, then we should just try for a ranged attack. Ralts, use Disarming Voice!" Lincoln instructed. Ralts then fired off Disarming Voice, which Abra was unable to dodge, and got blasted with the Fairy Type move, "Oh yeah! Disarming Voice is a Move that always hits its target!"
"A move that never misses? That throws a monkey wrench into the works," Gary grumbled.
"Well, to be fair, it would've been a matter of time if Abra kept on using Teleport," Misty called out.
"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked.
"See, a move can only be used in battle so many times during a day. Weaker moves, such as Tackle can be used about 35 times in one day, while stronger moves like Fire Blast and Hydro Pump can only be used five times," Misty explained.
"Huh. I think I remember reading about that when I was studying at Professor Oak's Lab," Lincoln commented.
"I-If I may, Mr. Lincoln? The move Teleport can only be used about 20 times a day in battle," Ralts chimed in.
"I see. Well, we have our own way around that move, now, don't we? Ralts, use Disarming Voice again!" Lincoln instructed. Ralts once again blasted Abra with Disarming Voice, "Now, finish up with an encore!" Ralts fired Disarming voice one last time, which seemed to be all Abra was able to take, as it fell to defeat.
"Abra is unable to battle, the winner is Ralts!" Brock declared.
"Nicely done for your debut battle!" Lincoln praised Ralts, who felt very proud of herself. Gary recalled Abra.
"Heh, don't get too ahead of yourself. I still have my team's ace player! Now, Wartortle, I choose you!" Gary said, as he sent out a blue, bipedal turtle like Pokemon with big, fluffy ears, and a large, fluffy tail.
"That looks like a Squirtle!" Lincoln commented, pointing his Pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Wartortle, the Turtle Pokemon, a Water type, and the evolved form of Squirtle. Wartortle are said to live 10,000 years. It's long, fluffy tail is considered a sign of longevity," the Pokedex explained.
"I see, so Gary's Squirtle did evolve," Lincoln commented.
"Yep, and it's the backbone of my team, the strongest member!" Gary boasted.
"Hmm, Ralts, do you want to keep going?" Lincoln asked.
"I think I can," Ralts replied.
"Ok then. Wartortle's bound to have more moves than Abra did, so let's start off on the defensive. Use Double Team!" Lincoln instructed. Once again, afterimages of Ralts began to appear all over the battlefield.
"Ha, this old trick again? Like that'll do anything against Wartortle. Use Withdraw, then into Rapid Spin!" Gary instructed. Wartortle withdrew itself into its shell, causing it to glow red, before spinning around the battlefield like a top, mowing down each after image.
"Ack! Ralts, use Confusion, quick!" Lincoln instructed. As Rapid Spin was nearing her, Ralts quickly used her only Psychic Type Move to suspend Wartortle in the air, before sending it flying, "Phew, that was too close."
"Alright Wartortle, how about we put our new tactic to work?" Gary asked. Wartortle gave its trainer the thumbs up, "Alright, Withdraw, then Rapid Spin while using Water Gun!" Once more, Wartortle withdrew into its shell, glowing red once again, and began spinning rapidly once again at Ralts, this time, firing shots of water while spinning, slamming into the Emotion Pokemon, who then fell to the ground.
"Ralts is unable to battle, the winner is Wartortle!" Brock declared.
"Ralts! Are you ok?" Lincoln asked, coming to his Pokemon's aid.
"Yeah, I'll be fine, but I'm really tired right now," Ralts replied.
"Take a long rest. We'll handle the rest," Lincoln said, recalling Ralts, "Ok, I'm up against a Water Pokemon now. I would like to send in Pikachu, but this scenario gives me the opportunity to see how well this new member of my team does. Go, Bounsweet!" he said, as he sent out Bounsweet.
"Another rare Pokemon?! Wonder Trading must be incredible!" Gary exclaimed.
"It is. It's like opening a pack of trading cards. You'll never know what you get," Lincoln stated.
"Alright, Bounsweet Vs Wartortle, begin!" Brock declared.
"Alright Bounsweet, we need to be careful! Let's start off by using Play Nice!" Lincoln instructed.
"Ok then!" Bounsweet said, as she began to glow yellow, "Come on Wortortle, let's play!" Bounsweet said, as she began dancing around.
"Uh, ok," Wartortle was taken aback by this, but began to dance around too, surrounded by the same yellow glow. When the glow died down on both Pokemon, Wartortle glowed blue this time.
"What kind of a move was that?!" one of Gary's cheerleaders exclaimed.
"Hang on," Gary said, whipping out his Pokedex, "Here it is, Play Nice, the user becomes friends with the opponent to make the opponent loose the will to fight. This in turn lowers Attack Power."
"That combo you did put me on edge, so I figured using something to weaken Wartortle's attack power could come in handy," Lincoln stated.
"Cheeky move, but I can be even cheekier. Wartortle, use Ice Punch!" Gary instructed. With its fist glowing a lite blue, Wartortle charged at Bounsweet.
"Quick, use Razor Leaf!" Lincoln instructed. Bounsweet then fired off a barrage of leaves, that seemed to knock back Wartortle. It was then that a bright light erupted from Bounsweet, "Already?!" he exclaimed, as Bounsweet began to evolve. It now had a more humanoid form, with a slender, upper torso, white segments on its wide hips, and two long sepals on either side of it's head, making it look like pigtails.
"Bounsweet just evolved! And it's just as cute as ever!" Misty exclaimed.
"Whoa, wonder what she evolved into?" Lincoln wondered, pointing his Pokedex at his newly evolved Pokemon.
"Steenee, the Fruit Pokemon, a Grass Type, and the evolved form of Bounsweet. As it twirls like a dancer, a sweet smell spreads all around it. Anyone who inhales this scent feels a surge of happiness. Bird Pokemon often get attracted to the smell, but are smacked away by its hard sepals," the Pokedex explained.
"Wow, you've evolved! How do you feel?" Lincoln asked.
"Amazing! I finally have arms!" Steenee cheerfully replied, twirling around, causing a sweet smell to waft off of her. Everyone there was immediately enraptured by the aroma.
"Wow, that is sweet!" Misty commented.
"But one thing I don't get is how Bounsweet evolved so quickly. Was it that close to evolving?" Lincoln wondered.
"Well, seeing as how you got it from a Wonder Trade, it's quite possible that it earned a ton of experience rather quickly," Gary replied.
"Really? Trading can affect how much experience a Pokemon gains?" Lincoln asked.
"It's true. For some reason, Pokemon gain more experience if they're traded to another trainer. But that very blessing also has its downsides, since the higher the level a Pokemon is from a Wonder Trade, then the more likely it is to disobey your commands. That's why Gym Badges are put into place, to help Pokemon respect their trainers by allowing them to assess their skill and prowess as a trainer," Brock explained.
"Huh, how about that?" Lincoln commented.
"Also, I was only one level away from evolving, which helps out a bit," Steenee added.
"I see. That makes a bit more sense," Lincoln commented.
"Notice: Upon evolving, Steenee has learned a new move: Double Slap. Would you like to hear the details?" Lincoln's Pokedex asked.
"Uh, no thanks. It sounds pretty self-explanatory," Lincoln replied.
"Very well, then."
"Alright, a Pokemon evolving during battle is unusual, but its not unheard of. Do both trainers wish to continue the battle?" Brock asked.
"Of course! I never back away from a battle," Gary replied.
"That goes double for me," Lincoln replied.
"Very well, resume the battle!" Brock declared.
"Ok Steenee, lets start off with a Razor Leaf!" Lincoln instructed.
"Ok then!" Steenee replied, firing off Razor Leaf once again.
"Wartortle, deflect it with a Withdraw and Rapid Spin combo!" Gary instructed. Wartortle once again withdrew into its shell, raising its defense again, before spinning around and around, knocking back Razor Leaf. It then spun right at Steenee.
"Steenee, quick! Use Double Slap!" Lincoln instructed. Steenee waited until Wartortle was right on top of her, before swinging her sepals, slapping Wartortle away with five consecutive hits. Wartortle stumbled a bit as it popped out of its shell, "Ok, we need to finish this up quickly! Steenee, use Razor Leaf!" Steenee once again fired off Razor Leaf. Wartortle was still too dazed to do anything to defend, as it got pelted with Razor Leaf, and fell to defeat.
"Wartortle is unable to battle, the winner is Steenee, therefore, the victory goes to Lincoln!" Brock declared.
"Nice work, Steenee!" Lincoln praised.
"Thank You, Lincoln," Steenee replied, as Gary recalled Wartortle.
"The only reason you won is because your Steenee evolved midbattle," Gary stated, approaching the white-haired boy.
"A win is still a win, no matter how you look at it," Lincoln replied.
"Whatever. Well, in the spirit of what this old bridge was known for in the past, take this as a prize," Gary said, handing over a Nugget to Lincoln.
"Wait, you're just giving this to me?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, maybe this way you can actually buy some talent. I'm out of here," Gary said, as he hopped into his car, and drove off.
"Man, what a sore loser," Misty commented.
"True, but at least I got something out of it, apart from Steenee evolving," Lincoln commented.
"That's true too. And in a way, defeating him was kind of like defeating that sister of yours in battle," Brock stated.
"Yeah. He's brash, arrogant, and an all-around sore loser, just like Lynn is, so it's more satisfying knowing that," Lincoln replied.
"Well, now that that's all out of the way, we can continue onward," Brock stated, as the began their trek across the bridge, unaware that they were being spied on from the skies.
High above, in the skies,
In a familiar Meowth shaped hot air balloon, Team Rocket was watching the trio closely through binoculars, "That kid's quite lucky. It's clear he's become quite stronger during our absence," Jessie commented.
"I'm surprised he's got his hands on some rare foreign Pokemon, especially that Shiny Ralts," Meowth replied, casting a glance her way.
"No doubt he got them from a Wonder Trade," Jessie deduced.
"Well, they'll certainly earn us a bundle once we sell them. And going based on logistics, we can ambush them once they get to Vermillion City and steal all of their Pokemon," James stated.
"If they're headed for Vermillion City, then why are they going the wrong way?" Meowth asked, pulling out a map of the Kanto Region, "Yeah, see? Vermillion City is located to the south of Saffron City, which is still south from Cerulean City. Why would they be heading north?"
"If that's the case, then they're headed for Route 24. But for what reason? There's nothing of particular interest over there," Jessie wondered, looking at the map.
"It could be possible that they're heading for the Cerulean Cape," James theorized.
"They could be, but we shouldn't assume anything just yet. Let's follow them, and keep a steady pace," Jessie replied, as they continued to follow after them.
Later that day, in a glade next to a freshwater spring,
The trio were enjoying a nice stew prepared curtesy of Brock, "Man Brock, that stew was nothing like what we always have back home. It was amazing!" Lincoln complimented, setting his bowl down.
"I'm glad you liked it. It's my own unique recipe," Brock replied.
"So, Lincoln, do you think you can give each of us a name?" Trapinch asked, as he approached his trainer.
"A name? But don't you guys already have names?" Lincoln asked.
"Trapinch is referring to nicknaming us. We'd like it if you were to call us something other than our species name," Steenee clarified.
"Huh, well, I guess I can give it a try. Lets just see what kind of Pokemon you guys can evolve into," Lincoln said, as he took out his Pokedex, and began looking up each of his new Pokemon's evolutions.
"Flygon, the Mystic Pokemon, a Ground and Dragon Type, and the fully evolved form of Trapinch. Flygon is nicknamed the 'Desert Spirit', because the beating of it's wings sounds like a woman singing.
Gardevoir, the Embrace Pokemon, a Psychic and Fairy Type, and the fully evolved form of Ralts. Gardevoir is able to use it's Psychic Powers to create a small black hole. It will give its own life to protect its trainer.
Goodra, the Dragon Pokemon, a Dragon Type, and the fully evolved form of Goomy. Goodra are very friendly Pokemon, that will happily hug its trainer, leaving them covered in a sticky slime. However, Goodra will use its retractable horns to deliver a punch equivalent to that of 100 pro boxers.
Tsareena, the Fruit Pokemon, a Grass Type, and the evolved form of Steenee. Although beautiful, this Grass Type Pokemon is highly aggressive, and will trample its opponents after beating them. Its kicks will leave a mark on both the body and soul that can never heal.
Sandslash, the Mouse Pokemon, a Ground Type, and the evolved form of Sandshrew. The drier the area a Sandslash lives in, the harder and smoother the spikes on its back feels. This Pokemon uses its sharp claws to climb up trees to retrieve fruit, sending them down below to waiting Sandshrew," Lincoln's Pokedex explained. He immediately recognized two of the Pokemon from his dream, those being Flygon and Gardevoir (albeit the latter wasn't a shiny Pokemon like in his dream.) The rest of the Pokemon he looked up included a chubby, snail like dragon Pokemon, a queenly fruit Pokemon, and what looked like a porcupine with large brown spikes on its back.
"Hmm, ok, after hearing these entries, I think I have a good idea for at least Trapinch, Sandshrew, and Steenee. Can I get back to the two of at a later time, Ralts and Goomy?" Lincoln asked.
"No problem," Goomy replied.
"I-I can wait," Ralts replied.
"Ok. Now then, first up will be Trapinch. Given what the entry on your final evolved form said, I think your nickname will be 'Spirit'," Lincoln replied.
"'Spirit'? I like the sound of that," the newly names Trapinch commented.
"As for you, Steenee, how do you feel about 'Queeny'?" Lincoln asked.
"Not the most creative name, but I kind of like it," Steenee replied.
"Ok. Now then, Sandshrew, the nickname I'm thinking for you has to do with one of your moves, namely Magnitude," Lincoln replied.
"You're nicknaming me based on one of my moves?" Sandshrew asked.
"Yep. I'll call you Andrea," Lincoln replied.
"Ok, but what does that name have to do with Magnitude?" Sandshrew asked.
"You see, there's a fault line that runs through one of states back in my home country. It's called the 'San Andreas' fault, which is known for having earthquakes every now and again," Lincoln explained.
"Huh, that actually makes sense in hindsight. Ok, Andrea it is then," Sandshrew replied.
"What about you, Pikachu? You want a nickname?" Lincoln offered.
"Eh, I think I'll take a pass on that. I'll stick with just being called 'Pikachu'," Pikachu replied.
"Well suit yourself," Lincoln replied, before he noticed something over by the spring, "Hey, what's that?" he was referring to a small, blue Pokemon with five green leaves on its head. It was drinking some water from the spring.
"That looks like an Oddish," Brock replied.
"An Oddish?" Lincoln parroted, as he pointed his Pokedex at it.
"Oddish, the Weed Pokemon, a Grass and Poison Type. Oddish searches for fertile, nutrient-rich soil, then plants itself. During the daytime, while it is planted, this Pokemon's feet are thought to change shape and become similar to the roots of trees. This male Oddish is level 9, and knows the moves Absorb, Growth, Sweet Scent, and Acid," the Pokedex explained.
"Hmm, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have another Grass Type on my team," Lincoln said, as he was getting ready to catch it.
"Hold on Lincoln, I want to catch that Pokemon. After all, we found it near water, and that just happens to be my specialty," Misty replied, stopping Lincoln's advance.
"Right, because that's totally not a farfetched reason," Lincoln commented dryly.
"Oh, be a team player," Misty said, casting an annoyed look at him, before she went to face Oddish, "Go, Buizel!" Misty exclaimed, sending out her Buizel, "Use Water Pulse on that Oddish!" Buizel then fired Water Pulse, knocking the unsuspecting Oddish into the water, "Alright, now go into the water and use Aqua Jet!" Buizel was dashing over to the water, intent on chasing after Oddish, when a pair of vines shot out from the bushes and smacked Buziel away, "Ack! Buziel, are you alright?!" Misty immediately went to the Sea Weasel Pokemon's aid. As she did, the source of the vines emerged from some bushes. It was a Pokemon that Lincoln only saw at Professor Oak's Lab.
"Oh, wow, a Bulbasaur!"
Ok guys, I want to clarify one thing regarding the previous chapter. Lori isn't actually homophobic, she's just convinced that same-sex relationships are just internet rumors that people are taking too seriously in real life. She believes that those kinds of relationships can only happen in novels or on TV dramas. But she will get a serious wake-up call when she goes to hang out with Bobby in a later chapter.
Next up, I want to know what your thoughts are on adding an actual Oni Girl, and alien women to Lincoln's harem. I'm not just going to limit it to just the emoji dog alien woman. I have some thoughts for other alien species to come to Earth and select Lincoln as the most suitable husband for the leader's daughters.
Thirdly, DragonEmperor999 has just uploaded his version of the story to his page. You should go check it out. You can access it either in my favorites folder or by searching for it by the author's name. The title is "Pokemon Lincoln's Journey (Pokemon X Loud House Crossover Story)
Lastly, I'm going to be keeping the nicknames that SilverNugget had come up with for Lincoln's Pokemon in his story, such as Bruce for Zubat or Skyera for Pidgeotto. If you want your suggestion for a nickname to be put into the story, then just answer the following question, and in list format, tell me what Pokemon should get what nickname. Without further ado, here's the question:
