Purple doesn't know how long he runs for, but it's worth it when he sees his street.

Sure, it's vacant and deserted, and a house has been reduced to ashes, but it's still his st-

Wait.

A house reduced to ashes.

Purple's heart drops.

"Please, no, God no-" Purple breaks into an even faster run, skidding to a stop when he realizes the horrific truth.

It's his house.

"No...please, no..." Purple charges into the remains, his heart shattering as his voice breaks. "DAD!"

Silence.

Purple continues wandering through the rubble, tears blurring his vision. "DAD! IT'S PURPLE! PLEASE SAY SOMETHING!"

Nothing.

Purples passes his bedroom, reduced to ashes. All of it. Gone.

Purple discovers his satchel and weapons underneath the remains of his bed, sighing when he sees them unharmed.

He then runs into King's room. Nothing.

"Dad...?"

Nothing. The only wall remaining has the glass crown and his photo collage.

Both cherished presents.

One look at them sends Purple back towards the ground, his head dropped into his hands and breaking down sobbing.

It was over.

He'd lost another parent because he'd made a stupid decision.

This was all his fault.

"D-Dad...I'm so sorry...this is all my fault..."

"Shhh...let it out, sunshine."

The voice sends chills down his spine. Purple whipped his head up, crashing into a pile of wood and ash when he sees the face of his aunt.

"L-Luna..."

"Oh, Purple...you don't deserve anything that you've gone through. You poor ray of sunshine."

Purple's hand tightens around the satchel. "Don't fucking call me that. You don't get to-"

"It's working."

"Perfect."

"And he did?" Luna gestures around the room. "Sweetheart, he never cared about you. Why would he?"

Purple snarled. "You don't get to say that about him. He loved me more than the entire fucking family ever did!"

"When will he ever learn?"

"Were the rest of the group detained?"

"Yes, Blossom."

"Excellent work, Heather."

"Oh, Purple, baby..." Her voice is gentle. "Open your eyes. He left you to nearly die in The Void. Never even lifting a finger to rescue you. You don't deserve him. Come with me. It's not like you have anywhere else to go."

Purple stares at her, his entire body moving on autopilot, his mind the only thing sane.

He wants to scream. He wants to run away and hide. But he can't. Victim, Chosen, Dark, they can't help.

"He's going to break. I can feel it."

"How much longer?"

"Right...about..."

...She'd find the portal to the PC, so that was far from an option.

"...Now."

As his mind helplessly watched as Luna's manipulation took hold, Purple took her hand and followed her away.

The violet stick stepped through the hallway, twirling the necklace around her finger.

The plan had gone just perfectly. Now, Luna finally had her nephew, and the boy's so-called "family" couldn't get him back.

Oh man, did she love working for this woman. Luna had mapped this out since the failure at Rocket Corp, and now, it was happening.

And it was going brilliantly.

For now, at least.

She knew the stories of the people Purple was associated with. His adoptive father, almost destroying all of Minecraft over a child. The four Hollowhead Siblings, three with powers, and the other a once ruthless boss.

Now, all four were frolicking in the wind, chasing their metaphorical tails without a care in the world.

Which Heather found odd. The two middle brothers were internet terrorists.

The eldest ran a company that could, and would have, brought the world to it's knees.

The youngest?...Well, the youngest was fifteen. Not much he could do, but still.

But then, there was Purple himself. Supposedly responsible for the deaths of both of his rapists, his cousin, Luna's girlfriend(although the "girlfriend" part was a bit of a stretch), and the entire drug ring she'd watch burn to the ground.

So four counts of murder, give or take, and arson.

…Yeah, he was probably an even bigger menace than all four Hollowheads combined.

It was probably best they left Purple at the mercy of Luna herself. She'd knock the sense into him.

She walked into the main room, pressing a button on her bracelet and watching Purple's hex code fade out of her skin into her original purple-gray mixture. It truly was an amazing thing, her ability to mimic hex codes by just a simple flick.

Her idea had been simple: Purple had been presumed dead following the murder attempt before The Void's infiltration, so she would just ambush him once he escaped(as soon as it had been confirmed that he was still alive), suck a bit of his code out, inject it into her own code, and voila!

She had mimicked his hex code and voice, allowing her to simply walk into the base, take precautionary measures and make sure she wasn't discovered, and trap the Mercenaries before going after the main prize.

King Clementine himself.

And man, was it sweet.

She'd almost been ready to blow her cover, seeing the father so relived to see his child again( it almost made her question if these guys really did care about Purple. They had to. King was having an absolute breakdown right in front of her) , but something prevented her from doing so.

She didn't know what. Nobody would want to see someone that distressed. And his son had just been almost murdered, too!

Jesus Christ, was Luna this heartless? Did she have some type of vendetta against King or something?

Who would want to see someone like him suffer like this?!

She didn't know much on King, but what she did know was that his biological son had died in a tragic accident, leading him down a path of vengeance, hatred, and anger. By some miracle, Purple had stood up to him and brought him back to his senses. A couple of years later, an adoption was finalized.

And in the time they'd been spying on Purple, she had never thought she could see someone so happy. Even through everything that had followed, from giant fleshy monsters, being kidnapped and raped twice, and even time travel, King and Purple were still as close as they were when Luna had first learned about Purple's adoption into the Clementine family.

It almost felt like a dick move to do this to him. He's suffered enough.

No. She couldn't have second thoughts now. She had a plan to keep afloat.

Lavender and Blossom would be here shortly.

She made sure all of the color had been drained from her skin before double checking Purple's location. He was, in fact, in Luna's car.

With a few drugs in his system, like ether, but that wouldn't affect him in the long run…would it?

Hopefully not. Luna would hate it if drugs had killed Purple instead of herself.

And Heather knew she had plans for him.

The doors opened once again. Lavender stepped through, her sister followed behind her. The two girls looked almost menacing in their matching outfits. Like those twin girls from The Shining. Only older and…somehow much more merciful.

Blossom stood at her left, watching her bracelet. "So it seems Luna did have a base to keep him. I was under the impression that she was taking him to another city far away from here, just in case he did escape."

"It wouldn't be wise of her to dispose of him in the big city, now would it, dear sister?" Lavender quipped.

"No, I suppose it wouldn't. Did he see you, Heather?"

"Nope. Was probably too high on adrenaline after setting the place on fire to realize I was there. Was knocked out faster than I could blink." Heather said bluntly, pressing another button on her bracelet. The screen came down.

"And capturing Rocket Corp was a success?"

"Yes."

"Perfect. Luna will be incredibly pleased with these results. It will make her plan go so much smoother."

"They wouldn't know where Purple is, anyways," Blossom said, boredom in her voice. "Would they?"

"With Rocket Corp's technological developments, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they were able to locate him," Lavender replied. "Although, Luna would make sure they arrived too late, killing Purple and fleeing before they got within a mile of the place."

"I suppose you have a point there."

"When do I not?" Lavender quipped with a wink, gently tapping her sister's head.

"Hands off the do, Lavender!"

"Hmmmm…no!"

"Heather! Help me!"

Heather chuckled, pulling the two girls apart and resuming her position between the two. "Alright, that's enough bickering for you two. Remember, we have to make sure there aren't any breaches of containment, right?"

"Yes, Heather." The girls moaned in unison.

"Wonderful!"

Heather stared back at the security cameras, watching all of Rocket Corp crumble before her eyes.

This was going to be so much fun.
