Chapter Sixteen

Whales and Camels

A/N – Well several of you had told me it is nice to have some happy time for the Borden family. I really enjoyed talking about the new experiences for the family and how well they get together. This next chapter will continue to talk about the family outings and I hope you enjoy it. By the way, the Whale Watching piece will be based off an mind blowing experience my family had years back. The Camel thing, not so much. Also I did research and for those of you who go to Cabo, yes there are Camel Rides on the beach. I also plan to focus on all of the individual relationships of those Borden girls and the fledgling one with JT and Shawna. I will continue to build all of them as the move through this very important time of their lives. A special focus will be on are soon to be graduates and married couple. They are the future of the family's and Heartland's legacy and I will continue to develop that. Like I said this will be a fun week and Amy and Ty will not be ignored, so no concern there. The family was in the vacation grove as they excitedly enjoyed their breakfast talking about the day on the water looking for whales. Jeremy laughed, "I looked it up, we may see Humpback and Orcas, maybe even Grey Whales. It seems Humpbacks are the most likely as their season is almost over and they are really active. Do you know that Humpbacks breech out of the water sometime the entire length of their body, which is over 20 feet! I would love to see Orcas though." Everyone laughed as Maddie called him the family "Whale Geek." Everyone laughed as he pouted but Annie kissed his cheek and he felt better. Lunch would be provided on the excursion but to be safe they packed some snacks. Ty reminded them that it might be a little cooler on the boat so they each had light jackets but were wearing shorts and light shirts with their sandals. Amy laughed and spoke up looking at all of them. "Well look at us, defiantly not in Canada anymore." They all laughed, loaded up and headed out for a 40 minute trip to the tour facility and the boats. The tour left at 9:00 and would get back by 1:00 so they would have plenty of sun time in the afternoons as their tans were well on their way. Tonight they decided to go into town for a Food and Taco Tasting festival in downtown Cabo San Lucas. It would be a full day but they were all excited. They parked, grabbed their stuff and went to check in. As always the animated group always grabbed a lot of attention everywhere they went and today was no different. The Borden girls were latched onto their men and JT, Shawna and Trent held hands walking in as well. As they huddled, Ty got all of their boarding passes. The woman in line behind him joked, "Wow, quite a group you have there, are they all yours?" He smiled used to the attention they always seemed to draw. "Well that's my wife and the four older girls along with the shorter boy are all ours. The rest are friends." She smiled, "Well it looks like you kids are lucky that their boyfriends came along, pretty daring." Amy came over and introduced herself and answered, "Well the older two are engaged and the other three are in good relationships, their boyfriends are good kids. The little ones are the three amigos and are always together." The woman smiled and whispered, "Well by the look in the little girl's eyes, I think she likes your boy a lot as well." They smiled and thanked the woman as JT came over, "Come on mom and dad, they guy in the uniform is calling out "All Aboard." The kids were ready as this was not an adventure that they had ever experienced. They had all been on john boats and fished and went on the ocean when they visited the Trudeaus a while ago at their family home in Prince Edward Island, but for th most part, outside of Jeremy and Ricky, not something like this. They walked around the boat and staked out some seat recommended by the guide. She smiled and said, "We have been seeing a lot of humpbacks that have been breeching as they are getting ready to head north. And yesterday, we saw a sperm whale and a pack of Orcas so I feel good about today. The girls and Jeremy screech in excitement and as he did the four of them attacked his sides. As they boat pulled away the family was ready to have an amazing adventure. As they headed out on the water, the girls stood on the rail with their hair blowing in the wind. They were happy they brought light jackets but being in their boyfriend's arms was nice too. Amy and Ty sat back enjoying the beautiful weather and each other. They both smiled watching this kids as JT walked over and jumped on his dad's lap. He needed to say something, so he spoke quietly to them. "Hey, last night I had a visit and I need to tell you that the grandmas and great grandma Lyndy are really happy we are on this trip and they are all jealous." He hesitated and continued, "We also talked about Shawna. I really like her, she is a great friend but sometimes I feel like we are even more. Grandma Lilly laughed and compared us to you two. Great Grandma Lyndy said that our friendship is most important now and as we grow older it will take the path it is meant to be." He smiled and added, "And all Grandma Marion could do was smile with tears in her eyes." Ty and Amy pondered his thoughts and she whispered, "Well we see how close you two are but we can tell you when you are ready it will or will not happen. Just be honest and open and always treat her right." He smiled leaning into them. As they sat together Trent ran over, "Hey we saw some whales!"

Sure enough about 5 yards off the port side, which luckily the group was there were a pack of about a dozen Orca whales leisurely rolling through the water. The captain slowed the boat to match their speed and an excited tour guide got on the microphone, "Well everyone it is our lucky day. What we have on the port side is a pack of Orcas, maybe a dozen or so who are sleeping." JT looked at her, "They are sleeping, but they are moving." She smiled and continued, "Orcas move in family pacts, so we have moms, dads and kids all together. Orcas sleep and swim at the same time, It allows them to be able to move to avoid predators and most importantly breathe. Watch the puffs come out of their blowhole as all whales are mammals and need to breathe air to live." Ricky spoke up, "But aren't a few of them awake too." She smiled again, we have a whale expert on board. The adults take turns staying awake to also watch out for danger. Even though they are pretty big there are different types of predators that may go after their young." Annie spoke up, "That is so sad." Everyone agreed as the guide continued, "Well it is rare but in nature that is just the way it is. Unfortunately the most dangerous predator is us. Discarded netting and trash is the whales worst enemy so we all need to make sure we keep our waters clean." After about 15 minutes the captain fired up the boat as the guide proclaimed, "Let's go find some Humpbacks." The group settled as the couples went to hang out at the rails holding each other and taking in the scenery. Trent and JT we inside looking over all of the brochures on all of the whales in the area and Shawna was standing next to Amy and Ty just looking out at the water. Wyatt noticed that she seemed quiet, so called her over to join them. "Hey little lady, what's up?" She smiled shyly, "Nothing, it is really cool out here and those black and white whales were awesome." She got quiet again as Lyndy spoke up, "Where are JT and your brother?" She smirked, "They are inside looking at all the whale information stuff. My brother is kind of obsessed like Ricky and JT is just with him." Lyndy noticed her tone, "Why don't you join them?" She smiled, "I am not as interested as them and they like to spend time together, like all the time. I really like that they are there for each other but I would like to spend some time with JT sometimes too." Lyndy and Wyatt looked at each other knowing what they had to do. Amy also noticed the conversation and smiled at them. While Shawna and Lyndy stayed at the rail, Wyatt went into the two boys who were buried in a book. "Hey Trent, I need your help can you some and answer some questions for Lyndy and I? JT, I think Shawna is on the rail by mom and dad, maybe she could use some company." They boys both smiled as Trent went with him and JT headed over to his friend. As JT approached Shawna smiled, "Hey stranger, did Trent and you learn some more about whales?" He smiled, "Well he did, I just want to make sure he is having fun. Whales are cool but I don't like them like he does." They both smiled and hadn't noticed that Amy and TY had went inside to get a drink. After a few minutes, Shawna sighed, "It sure is beautiful out here, I am really happy I am here with you and your family." They didn't realize that they were leaning against each other as it felt comfortable. JT smiled, "I am happy you could come too." After a few more minutes she looked at him and smiled, kissing his cheek. He blushed but pulled her in for an arm hug, "I guess that means you are happy too." They both smiled looking over the beautiful water feeling things they had never felt before. As they stood they were alarmed when two very big whales breeched about 50 yards from the boat as the captain yelled out, "There she blows!"

The two youngsters held each other and gasped out loud seeing something that was so amazing. They two humpbacks came out of the water exposing almost 2/3 of their large bodies. A minute or so later they did it again to everyone's astonishing looks. The crown oohed and awed as the breeching continued and the captain position the boat corrected for a good look and adjusted the speed. For the next 20 minutes the two whales continued to breech in perfect unison like a well-choregraphed dance. Amy and Ty joined their kids and their friends gawking at the show as Wyatt joked, "I don't think we would see this in Alberta." The all laughed. They girls stood in their boyfriends arms watching something that they would talk about for a long time. Trent joined JT and Shawna and snuggled between her two favorite people. Ty and Amy stood back a bit watching the whales but also their family. The tour guide was beside herself talking through what was going on. "I have to be honest, we have never had an event this involved. Whale breaching, is an impressive acrobatic display where a whale propels itself out of the water and falls back in with a splash. The reasons could be Communication, Play and Social Interaction, Feeding and Hunting or Mating. The male as usual is showing off their physical fitness and stamina, which are important qualities in a potential mate. The loud sounds produced by breaching may also serve as a way for males to communicate their presence and dominance to other males in the area. You men are always trying to show off for us gals." Everyone laughed as Shawna whispered poking her brother, "Or boys." He smiled and thanked her for understanding him, kissing her on the cheek. The whale breeching began to become less active and the tour guide told them that she expected it to end soon laughing, "Even whales get tired." Not too long after that they stopped and resumed normal swimming. The boat erupted in applause and the whales seemed to react by blowing large plumes of water from their blowholes much to their delight. Everyone settled as the captain came on the loud speaker. "Well I generally take the credit for things like that but I think the whales should get the thanks today. We are going to head back but I will go by a few more areas where we may see some different types of whales." Everyone took their seats and then the family decided to go to the snack bar to get a light lunch. It was fun sitting around and talking about the day. As they ate, the tour guide came over. "I am sorry to interrupt but I like to recognize our most engaged guest so I have a reward for two of you, this amazing book on whales and their migratory habits." She went to Ricky and Trent, "Congratulations, you are our winners!" The ride back was quiet as several of the passengers took a nap. They decided that after some time in the sun, they would go into town for the Taco Festival and enjoy a fun night together. So far the day was awesome and tonight was going to be fun as well.

They spent the afternoon enjoying the beautiful weather, ocean breezes and the pool. Many of them napped and others played in the water. After Amy and Ty cleaned up, they snuck a nap on their private deck overlooking the ocean. Some of the kids played volleyball in the pool while the three older couples tanned on the beach. Amy leaned over to Ty, "This place is perfect, there is so much to do right here and everyone is in eyesight. I know the girls are older but it is still feels good to be able to see them." Ty smiled, I thought that was the dad's burden." She smiled and snuggled into him fallen asleep in minutes. Ty couldn't help but notice how peaceful Amy had been while here and decided that this was something they needed to do more often, especially as the younger folks got more involved in the business. After a couple of hours everyone got ready for the night out. Amy checked on the girls who were getting ready in Lyndy and Wyatt's room as the boys were playing some pool in the game room. As she walked in the room she hear giggling and laughter. She smiled, "What are you guys up to?" Shawna laughed, "Nothing just girl talk." Annie smiled as Amy rolled her eyes closing the door. Annie laughed, "we were just talking about how much fun we are having and helping each other decide what to water tonight." Addie added, "And we were asking Miss Shawna what is going on with her and our little brother." Shawna turned beet red and smacked her arm, "He is my friend, that's all." Amy saved her by changing the subject, "So, what are you guys wearing, it is pretty warm out there and I need to make sure you don't give your dad a heart attack. They gathered up and headed to town for the festival. The property management company let them park in their lot, so they were close and it was extremely crowded. Before the left and to complaints from JT she reminded everyone to stay close and especially keep an eye on Trent, JT and Shawna. She knew the girls may wander off so she wanted to make sure they knew to keep them in their sites. The festival was fun, lots of food, clothing and jewelry booths and music. The group was overwhelmed at all of the energy and soon got in the festival mood. The girls and their boyfriends walked around the booths and tasted some of the food and enjoyed the booths. When they came to a jewelry and clothing booths they banded together as the men stood behind them watching them model for each other. Ricky shrugged, "We are so toast, I just hope I can afford what Maddie wants." Jeremy laughed, "Welcome to loving a Borden girl my boy." The four of them chuckled and went to sample a local beer. Amy and Ty stuck with the three amigos giving them space but keeping them close. Amy smiled as she watched the two boys, especially JT, focus on Shawna and what she wanted to do. The three of them focused on tacos at first as the other booths were a little less appealing to them. There were so craft booths they liked and JT noticed that Shawna really liked a shawl that she kept modeling. Ty walked over and discreetly handed him some cash and he offered to get it for her. She screamed in delight as he paid for it and gave him a big hug. Amy and Ty laughed as they watched Trent give him a thumbs up. They four couple had made it to the music area and even with bags in hand they swayed to the music. Amy and TY headed their way as he spoke up. "Hey guys, I think we are going to head back, the kids, Ok maybe we are tired. Wyatt you take the bigger SUV and we will take the other one along with your bags. Be careful and don't be too late." Amy added, "Text us when you are heading back." They all smiled and after a round of hugs the young couples stayed to dance and Amy and Ty took the kids home. The next day, they were taking the young kids on the pirate ship so the others had a free day to play in the sun. As they got settled the three younger ones fell asleep immediately and an hour or so later the others came home much to the delight of their mother. They chatted for a bit but then they all went to bed as well. Amy held Ty as they laid in bed, "It was a good day."

The girls got breakfast ready the next morning and were excited about a day just with their men. The didn't have a lot of plans but one thing for sure some time alone was on the docket. Amy came down before anyone and chatted briefly about being careful and never wander off the condo on their own. "Cabo is safe but you need to be aware of what is around you and being attractive females is a burden, trust me I know." They all giggled and hugged as the girls really liked when it was just then and their mom. She was everything to them and they couldn't be happier to have a mom like her. JT and Shawan were the next to come down, excited about their day with his mom and dad. After the Pirate ship cruise they were going to hang out at a kids ropes place and they go shopping for groceries. The couple they met on the trip there who owned the Banff Resort were coming for dinner and Amy reminded the girls to dress in her words, a little more covered up. Addie asked, "Hey where is Trent?" Shawna answered, "He said his stomach was bothering him a little, probably too many tacks last night. He loves them you know." Lyndy and Annie smiled and went to check on him. The men finally started wondering down to razzing about sleeping all day and that the girls have to do everything. Ty was the last and got the most grief but Amy went to hug and kiss him and defended him in front of the kids rolling eyes. Addie laughed, "I swear, you two will be making out at the old folks home." Everyone smiled, with warm feelings about parents who were so in love. Lyndy came out and waved to her mom and Wyatt to come with her whispering, "Trent is really not feeling well. He is little warm so Wyatt can you help him get into the tub." Amy came in and put her hand on his head, "He is a little warm, how are you feeling buddy?" He smiled, "I think I ate too many tacos." He went to get his bath and Lyndy and Amy went to get some medicine for his stomach and gave him some aspirin and water. As he was soaking the girls talked and decided that they would take turns keeping an eye on him so JT and Shwana wouldn't miss out on their day. Amy offered to stay but they would have nothing of it. "Mom, you and dad need to go, it's not like we are going anywhere far, we got it. Anyway we have to clean up for our guest." After breakfast Amy, Ty, JT and Shawna headed out after goodbyes to Trent. Amy texted Mallory to fill her in and not to worry, the Borden girls had it covered. The Pirate ship cruise was awesome as JT and Shawna got to dress up and he even got to be an assistant captain. Amy watched as Shawna beamed when he stood behind the "Ship's Wheel" with his chest puffed out. A lot of pictures were taken as the cruised through the ocean and even stopped at an island for a pirate's lunch. Amy was updated on Trent and he was feeling a lot better and even got in the pool a little to swim. Shawna and JT decided to hold off on the ropes course so they could go later with Trent and they headed home midafternoon after picking up groceries. Trent was taking a nap to JT and Shawna quietly joined him as they were tired as well. Ty started getting ready for dinner which was going to be BBQ ribs, burgers and hot dogs along what all the fixings. Amy and Lyndy made a salad and amazingly the found saskatoon berries and three pies were in the oven. Thie new friends showed up a little early and got a tour of the place from JT, Shawna and Trent, who was feeling better. They decided to eat outside along the pool area so several of the kids set everything up. They girls decided to wear their suits but had coverups for dinner which Amy was Ok with. The boys had their swim shorts on but had nice cotton shirts on as well. The plan was to have a pool volleyball game after their food settled. The couple were really enjoying their visit and the woman spoke up, "I mean we have a pretty big family but this group is something else. We have looked into you company and what you all do and I have to say, pretty impressive. We saw you a Special Needs Kids Rodeo and we would like to become a sponsor." Maddie's ears picked up as she stepped up, "Well I can definitely talk to you about that." They looked confused as Ty interrupted, "The rodeo was Maddie's ideas years ago as she has several friend who have Downes Syndrome. She kind of runs it with Amy's sister." The older man smiled, "Well young lady we will set up a time to have you come to our main office and we will put it on paper." Maddie smiled brightly, "Great, I will bring my Aunt Lou, she is the numbers person and the Chairperson of our Board of Directors." She scampered off and he looked over to Amy, "Are all of the kids so engages in the company?" She smiled, "Yes, Wyatt and Lyndy are already on the Board and the others are actively involved. Lyndy is my right hand along with my two nieces and graduates in May. After Wyatt becomes a certified DVM, he will join the vet team and then they will be getting married. Annie is going to the Olympics and is an amazing horse healer, Addie is our mechanical prodigy and will eventually take over the operational side if the business and Maddie,, she is a lot like my sister. She is very organized and oversees a lot of our community activities already. She is a great jumper as well and a very good horse healer. And JT, well several of us agree he will run the place one day, he is something else." The older couple smiled as they listened to the proud parents. The older women spoke, "Like us, we are fortunate to have such amazing children, make sure you cherish every moment." They all smiled as they watched the sunset over the water.

The Borden girls really like the whole day that they had with their men, even though they did check on Trent from time to time and everyone slept well. The next morning it was a lazy breakfast with some water time. At 1:00pm they had reserved their spot riding camels on the beach and into the dune area so they were going to grab snack lunch somewhere and head over to the stables. Tonight it was going to be family dinner night out in town at a restaurant their guest last night recommended and got a table for, since they knew the owners and got their promise not to pay for the meal. As they pulled up to them Camel ranch, it seemed that everyone one of them gasped and their mouths dropped. Annie screeched scaring the other riders in her car, "Oh my god, look at all of them, they are huge!" The others chimed in as they all piled out. As Ty and Amy went to check in, they kids ran to the pens to meet the camels. Amy called all the kids in as the instructor gathered them together along with others in a meeting room. He went over some rules and how the riding would go. "Almost every camel will take two adult riders and in the case of the smaller ones we can fit three. The ride goes for an hour, then we still for lunch on the beach and back for another hour. Now who here has rode a horse." Immediately all of their group shot up their hands and JT yelled, "My sister Annie is going to the Olympics this summer in the show jumping competition!" He smiled, "Well that is pretty amazing, so I figure our Canadian group are good riders." A person in the group spoke up, "Aren't you Amy Borden from the Marion Borden Equestrian Center? My daughter lives in Estevan and brought her horse to you." Amy smiled and shook her head, yes. She continued, "Sir, I expect these folks are comfortable on horses, in fact their company heals hurt and trouble horses by the thousands. The are one of the most reputable equine centers in Canada and most of the Northwest United States." JT added, "And my dad and future brother in law are vets too." Everyone in the group smiled as the instructor laughed, "Well that is pretty awesome but Dr. Borden no need for you to help here so you can just enjoy yourself." Ty smiled, "Well I did work on Camels years ago when I worked for Vets Without Borders in Mongolia." They finished up and went out to meet the camels. Amy Lyndy and Annie immediately greeted them doing some T-Touch and getting to know them. Addie laughed, "You three are weird." They couple mounted and after Amy and Lyndy got the three younger kids settled they got ready to leave. All of the Borden girls took the front seat and controlled the reins as their men held on from behind. Trent sat in front and JT in back as Shawna was in the middle. Lyndy and Wyatt noticed the big smile on JT's face noticing how happy he looked and how he held on to her side. She leaned back and kissed his cheek, "Ah, young love." They headed out on the trail and were amazed at how smooth the ride was for such a large animal. The instructor yelled back, "Now you Canadians, no galloping and young lady no jumping for sure." Everyone laughed but Annie couldn't help but wonder if the camel could jump. The first part of the trail was through a plush area of forest full of vegetation and creeks. The Bordens marveled at the beauty but the real gasps came when they came to a clearing and found themselves on an overlook with the beautiful view of the ocean. Amy whispered to Ty, "You sure don't see this in Alberta." He smiled, hugging her and kissing her neck as she blushed. Shawna laughed, "Mr. and Mrs. Borden, nice PDA." The family laughed as they went down to walk along the beach for over a mile. After a break for lunch they were ready to head back. The instructor came over to the group and shyly whispered, "Dr. Borden, we have a camel that seems to be injured, can you take a look?" He smiled, "Of course, Wyatt let's go take a look." After looking the camel over he showed the instructor and the other guide what the issue was. "You see here, his hoof has a previous injury that has become aggravated. It is a simple fix once we get back but she shouldn't have riders." Luckily, they had two extra camels so the remounted the couple to it and led the injured came back. The remainder of the trail was just as beautiful and the family realized it was going to be an experience they would remember for a while. The girls took a hundred pictures and were posting them for friends back home. Lyndy videoed her dad and Wyatt working on the injured camel and posted it. By the time it got back it had thousands of hits already and had gone viral. When they got back she showed it to everyone, "Looks like Wyatt has a rival for the Miracle Boy." After many thanks from the owners of the trail ride company they headed home still excited about the day and the amazing experience.

That night the family dinner was a lot of fun and the restaurant recommended by their new friends was perfect. The waitress had a lot of fun with the family, joking a lot with them. She was young and the three college girls noticed she \was spending a lot of her focus on Jeremy, Desi and Wyatt. It was a beach themed restaurant and she was wearing a bikini top and a skirt thing. She was really attractive and the girls were starting to get a little more agitated. Amy noticed that they had taken their covers ups off starting to stake their claim on their men. Ty looked over and was going to say something but Amy clutched his leg, whispering, "Babe chill, they are letting our little waitress know what is theirs. I know the feeling about having a hot man in my life." She kissed his cheek and they laughed quietly. As the waitress walked away Trent spoke up, "What is up with her, she is like drooling over Wyatt. Dr. Borden, you should give her less of a tip for sure." Everyone laughed and the girls all hugged their boyfriends tightly and as the waitress returned she couldn't help but notice it. For the rest of the visit she let up a bit and JT noticed when had put a cover up back on. JT ribbed Shawna, "Looks like she got the message." Shawna laughed coyly, "Well at least she left you alone." The family got home and relaxed by the pool before everyone headed off to bed. AS Wyatt and Lyndy laid next to each other he noticed she was quiet. "Hey what's wrong Lynny, you have been quiet since we got back." She smiled rolled on top of him and kissed him deeply. He got his breath back and whispered, "Wow that was something. Wait are you jealous about that stupid waitress? I mean she was cute in a skanky way but Lyndy, you are beautiful and gorgeous and perfect." She giggled, "Keep going." He smiled and pulled he in for a kiss, which accelerated to much more. Their hands and lips traveled over each other's bodies stimulating each other to the point where more was needed. She giggled breathlessly, "You locked the door right?" He smiled as she continued, "And you brought some right?" He smiled again reaching into the night stand drawer, proudly holding up the foil pack. She looked at him with her beautiful deep blue eyes, "Well then we need to move forward, get those clothes off cowboy." Their night was just beginning as gave each other the love they were each needing. Amy and Ty sat up in bed looking over some emails. They had limited their I-Pad time but were taking a few minutes to catch up on things. They talked quietly about a few things and Amy laid back, "That was funny with the waitress tonight, us Borden girls are pretty protective of their men." He smiled, "So you think I am a hot man still?" She grabbed both the I-Pads, closed them and set them on the table next to her. She looked into his beautiful green eyes and smiled, "Well I do and I think I need to show you how much I love you. Is the door locked?" He smiled, "Always." Before he finished, she moved into kiss him deeply. With the warmer weather their sleep wear was pretty shear. As she kissed him he moved his hands along her bare back and then to her breast. She moaned and pulled her head back allowing his access to her neck, where he smothered her with kisses and nibbles. She moaned again and went back to work. She moved her hands along the waistband of his boxers and started sliding them down. He pulled her nightie off and then her panties. All the while they continued to kiss each other on the lips and other parts of their bodies. Their foreplay advanced as Ty focused on Amy's taught breast moving his lops and his hand all over them. Her moans became more breathless but she still keep it at a lowered volume. The bedrooms in the condo were a bit closer than at home. AS he finished she went to work kissing his lips and moving down his still amazing body. She whispered into his chest, "You are so hot." Without a word she moved down to give him even more pleasure. Now it was time for Ty to pulled his head back in ecstasy adding his own moans, whispering her name. They had decided that the rest of the trip would be a whole lot of relaxation, sun time and just plain fun. They sunset cruises were set and they all decided to do it together. Ty had also arrange a final dinner in town the night before they left. They were flying back early the next morning so the plan was to pack that afternoon before so they could enjoy the evening together. They all knew when they got back it would be busy with work, school and all of the activities happening at the end of the year. But each couple planned to maximize their time together before they left, making sure they took full advantage of their last couple of days. The Borden girls all oved their men and the week had proven to them that their bonds were strong. Amy and Ty were overwhelmed with pride and joy, seeing how happy the kids were and that the decision to let them bring the guys as well as Shawna and Trent was a great decision. They kept the parents in tune with the week, sending regular text to them. They expressed how proud they were of their maturity and how they respected the chance to be together with their partners. They spoke to Mallory several times as she was concerned with how Trent was doing. Amy joked as well about how JT and Shawna were getting along. Mallory answered with excitement in the fact that they would be in-laws one day. The day after the exciting camel rides, they entire family just did their own thing. Since Shawna was a little leery of the ocean, Trent and JT were more than happy to hang out at the pool and on the beach. Lyndy and Wyatt offered to take the kids to a ropes course and to lunch. Shawna squealed with glee, "That would be awesome!" Maddie and Ricky decided to go as well as Amy and Ty again were overwhelmed with the kindness of their girls. Annie, Jeremy, Addie and Desi spent almost the entire day on the water, using the jet skis and going for a boat ride. They had met some kids from Vancouver and were meeting them for lunch so Amy and Ty found themselves alone. Amy batted her eyes looking at her husband, "Kind of nice having older kids, gives us some time together." Ty smiled as the spent the day cuddling by the pool and enjoying each other completely. Work always had them tied up and only able to see each other in passing. This week was about spending time together and today they had several hours to be with each other. AS they laid next to each other watching the beautiful water, Ty whispered, "Amy, have you had a good tie this week?" She smiled nestling in his arms, "The best, you are a pretty great guy to hang out with." They both laughed and pulled into each other more tightly. He smiled, "And this bikini thing. Can you wear these more at home." She smacked him lightly, "Well for the few days I could maybe." Her eyes glared at him with lust, "Maybe I will water one when I am riding a horse, would you like this." Ty blushed and sighed deeply whispering, "Yea that would be Ok I guess." She smacked him again but rolled over on top of him kissing him passionately. The made out for a while longer than expected and it took all of their energy to just not make love on the pool deck. Once the settled, they each took a deep breath and Ty whispered softly, "Wow I am really having fun this week." Amy buried herself in his chest as they heard a sugared up JT and Trent burst out the door, jumping in the pool full speed. Lyndy was behind with Shanwa smiling, "Well as you can see they had a good time. Would it be Ok if we head to the beach for a while. Thise three are a lot of work." Amy smiled, "We know, I remember you four girls being a handful at times. One day you may have the pleasure." Ty scoffed, "But not too soon." The four of them went inside to get their suits on and headed to the beach. Ty help his thoughts as he watched his beautiful girls scamper off in their bikinis with their boyfriend and finance close behind. He yelled, "Don't forget the sunscreen. And we will have takeout around 6ish." They waved back in understanding as they scampered to the beach and crystal blue waters.

Dinner was relaxing and the discussion was about the week and what each person had enjoyed the most. They sat around the pool eating ice cream, laughing and joking about the week's escapades. It was split between the whale watching and camels of course although the girls also like the beach and water time, especially with their men. Ricky and Trent loved the whales and couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. The rest of the group officially labeled them whale nerds. As they all loved to ride the girls really liked the camel rides. Annie asked, "We need to get a few camel's back home, that would be awesome." Jeremy chided her, "Annie, I don't think that the climate suits them, right Dr. Borden." Ty smiled, "It would be difficult unless we built a special heated barn for them." Amy laughed, "We are not building a heated barn. If we want to ride camels we can just come back here." Everyone excitedly agreed as Maddie squealed, "Yeah like next year!" Everyone laughed as they continued to chat. Little by little everyone headed off to bed as the week had been fun but also exhausting. Wyatt carried JT and Lyndy had Shawna as Trent trudged behind them to bed. Amy spoke up, "Sleep late tomorrow, one more day of fun and packing. And then dinner tomorrow night." Each of the girls kissed and hugged their parents goodnight and the boys hugged Amy and shook Ty's hand. Wyatt went last and hugged Ty whispering something in his ear that resulted in another hug and smile." Lyndy grabbed his hand as they went to her room. She leaned into him and whispered, "What did you say to my dad?" He smiled, "Nothing, just guy stuff." She poked him in the ribs, "Whatever, you need to tell me." He laughed and drug her into their room. She continued to badger him, even trying the romantic approach. After a deluge of kisses he decided to tell her, "Well I told him how much I loved this family and how much I love you. He told me he feels the same about all of us and Amy." She stood speechless as tears started to form in both of her eyes. Wyatt was alarmed thinking he said something wrong and went to hug her but she jumped into his arms straddling his waist. "You told him you love me?" He smiled, "Of course I did, you and your family are everything to me." She continued to kiss him as they fell back on the bed making out and giggling. Their night was not over yet. After Amy and Ty checked on the three younger ones they went to this room. They were quiet as they walked in but Amy spun him around in her arms. "So, What did you and Wyatt whisper about." Ty smiled realizing he could have some fun. "Oh, nothing really, just guy stuff." Amy rolled her eyes and locked onto his neck with her lips. She moved to his ear lobe and then his lips. Ty was weakening as she continued her barrage of kisses. He finally gave in, "He told me that he loved this family and especially Lyndy. I smiled and told him that I love them as well and especially you." She smiled and continued to kiss him and they headed to bed. The family slept peacefully, remembering all the fun they had but also excited about getting back home. This trip was everything and more to all of them and the time they had together was something that they would remember a long time.

The next day was even more relaxing as they spent the entire day together, playing and packing. Their dinner was something special as Ty and Amy had arranged dinner at one of the most popular restaurants with an amazing sunset view, Carbon Grill Restaurant. They picked it because the menu was diverse enough for the group, not just Mexican cuisine. The two waitresses who took care of them had a blast and didn't even flirt with the guys. Close to the end of the meal the manager came over and thanked them for coming and several other guest came over and said hello as it seemed they were get a lot of attention. The next morning everyone were ready to go, bright and early. As the guys loaded up the trucks, the girls checked a third time to make sure nothing was left behind and tidied up, even though a cleaning crew would be there shortly. As they loaded up Wyatt and Ty complained, We have a lot more going back than coming here." Shawna laughed, "It is a girl's right to buy stuff on vacation. Everyone laughed as they headed to the airport. Like at Calgary, Ty and Wyatt dropped them off and returned the toe SUVs. Happily when they returned, everything was checked in and the rest of the group was waiting by security. They had several hours so hoped that a quick breakfast would be possible. As usual the large group gathered a lot of attention as they say and ate and then went through security. They were excited when the same flight crew that was on the flight coming down was on duty again so their treatment was again top notch. Before they took off the flight attendants let JT, Shawna and Trent visit the pilots which was a blast for them. When they came back to this seat a dejected Wyatt said, I wish I could have done that." JT laughed, "Well when you become as cool as us three maybe you will." Everyone laughed, including the people around them. Many of them slept on the way back as the week of fun in the sun wore them out. The girls were excited to show everyone their tans and the boys, except Wyatt, were a little upset that they would not be with their girlfriends 24/7. One things the kids knew that it was back to the school and work grind and they were excited about the rest of the year, especially the soon to be graduating. Wyatt and Lyndy took the three boys home in the big SUV as Ty and Amy dropped off Shawna and Trent. When they all got home the first thing they did was check their horses and after unpacking, had a nice relaxed early dinner, so they could get ready to go back to school and get a good night's sleep. As Amy and Ty did the rounds, each of the kids thanked them over and over for such a great vacation. Amy and Ty made it to their room and as usual Ty watched Amy get ready for bed. She turned off the lights and joined him. Withing minutes they were sound asleep as happy as they could be. Tomorrow it was back to work and helping the kids finish out the year with a bang. Even thought they were asleep, they each had smiles on their faces. It had been a great week.
