Yamcha and Melvin sat on a rocky outcrop, their conversation taking place amidst the serene backdrop of a sun-kissed landscape. The wind rustled through the trees, carrying the faint scent of adventure and possibility. It was a momentary respite from the chaos of their respective worlds, allowing them to engage in a conversation.

"I'm not sure about that," Yamcha said, scratching his head.

"Oh c'mon now, you know he will be fine. The little guy is a fighter, didn't you see what he can do? Besides you saw how Puar managed to get this far with just his wits and determination"

Yamcha sighed, his eyes fixed on the distant horizon. "I know Takibi has potential, Melvin. And I've seen what Puar can accomplish through clever thinking. But it's different when it comes to putting them in dangerous situations deliberately. I don't want Takibi to get hurt."

Melvin leaned back, a contemplative expression on his face. "I understand your concern, Yamcha. But think about it this way. Takibi is a fire type Pokémon, right? Fire types are known for their resilience and determination. They thrive on challenges and pushing themselves to the limit. It's in their nature to overcome obstacles and grow stronger."

Yamcha nodded, acknowledging the truth in Melvin's words. "I get what you're saying, but I still worry about the risks involved. What if Takibi encounters an opponent he can't handle? Or what if he gets injured in the process?"

Melvin placed a reassuring hand on Yamcha's shoulder. "I won't put Takibi in situations where he's completely outmatched. I'll make sure the challenges are within his capabilities. And remember, Yamcha, with every challenge comes growth. Takibi will learn valuable lessons and become even stronger through these experiences."

Yamcha glanced at Melvin, contemplating his words. The wind rustled through his hair, mirroring the inner turmoil of his thoughts. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke. "Okay, Melvin, I trust you. But promise me that you'll always prioritize Takibi's safety above all else. I don't want him to get hurt unnecessarily."

Melvin smiled warmly, grateful for Yamcha's trust. "I promise, Yamcha. Takibi's safety will always be my top priority. We'll train him well and ensure he's prepared for any challenges that come his way. And remember, I'll be right there with him, guiding him through it all."

Yamcha's expression softened, a mixture of concern and faith in his eyes. "Thank you, Melvin. I appreciate your understanding. Let's work together to help Takibi reach his full potential."

"Speaking of which, what did you give Puar after I learned he was doing the challenges?" Yamcha asked.

"Oh! Yeah we forgot to tell you, nothing much honestly. I just gave him fifteen spells from Elden Ring to increase his long range spells since he lacked attack-focused spells. The Glintstone ones are my favorite" Melvin said, remembering the fond game.

"What even is Elden Ring?" Yamcha asked, confused.

"Never mind that, he is busy training in the forest, let's go back home and get that little firecracker of yours"

Yamcha chuckled, shaking his head at Melvin's enthusiasm. "Alright, let's head back and see how Takibi is doing"

They took to the skies, their figures soaring through the air with a sense of ease and familiarity. The wind whipped through their hair as they glided above the picturesque landscape, their destination set on Yamcha's home.

As they flew, Yamcha couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity. He wondered what Takibi had been up to while they were away, and how the young fire type Pokémon had been faring in their absence. Melvin's reassurances still echoed in his mind, but a small seed of concern remained, urging him to see for himself. As they approached Yamcha's home, they descended gracefully, their bodies gradually lowering to the ground. The familiar sight of the house greeted them, nestled amidst a grove of swaying trees before opening the door.

"Takibi!" Yamcha called out to his little fella, the fire type Pokémon turned towards them, his eyes lighting up with recognition. He bounded over, his tail wagging eagerly, and nuzzled against Yamcha's leg.

Yamcha knelt down and warmly embraced Takibi, feeling a warmth that came from his body, he could sense he had grown even stronger in their absence.

"Hey there, buddy," Yamcha said, his voice filled with affection. "I missed you. How have you been?

Takibi responded with a series of excited chirps and barks, his eyes gleaming with energy. It was clear that he had been keeping busy and making progress in his training.

Yamcha smiled "I can see you've been working hard, little guy"

Melvin stepped forward, his eyes filled with pride. "There is nothing to be worried about, trust me, this little guy is a warrior"

Yamcha's gaze shifted back to Takibi, his heart swelling with a mix of pride and relief. He had doubted Takibi's readiness for challenges, but seeing the fire type Pokémon's determination and growth, he realized that he had underestimated him.

"You've right and it's time I stop doubting him"

"Say now, how about we go ahead and do what we were discussing?Cmooon! You know you want it" Melvin said with a smirk.

Yamcha chuckled, catching onto Melvin's idea. He looked down at Takibi, his voice filled with excitement. "Hey, Takibi, how about we play a game? It'll be a chance for you to showcase your skills and have some fun!"

Takibi's ears perked up, and he let out an enthusiastic bark, his tail wagging vigorously. He seemed eager for the challenge, ready to prove himself.

"Fantastic and I got just the thing for it as well. Ever heard of Fall guys, my boy?"

Yamcha furrowed his brows, his curiosity piqued. "Fall Guys? Can't say I have. What's it about?"

Melvin's excitement grew as he began to explain. "Well, it's a wacky and fun game where little bean-like characters compete in various challenges, trying to be the last one standing. It's filled with obstacle courses, races, and crazy minigames. I thought it would be a perfect way for Takibi to showcase his skills and have a blast at the same time!"

Yamcha chuckled, finding Melvin's enthusiasm infectious. "That does sound interesting"

"It is!" Melvin snapped his fingers, and in a flash of light, Takibi vanished from their sight. Yamcha's eyes widened in surprise "Wait, we're doing this already?"

Melvin quickly reappeared, holding a television in his hands. He chuckled at Yamcha's reaction. "Relax, Yamcha! I didn't send Takibi away. I just teleported him to a place where he can play the game, Fall Guys. We can watch him there!"

Yamcha let out a sigh of relief "Don't just do that all of a sudden geez. So, can we watch him play from here?"

Melvin nodded enthusiastically, setting up the television and turning it on. The screen came to life, displaying a vibrant and chaotic game world filled with colorful obstacles.

"But before we start the challenge, let's watch Takibi getting ready," Melvin suggested, pointing to the screen. "He's just about to begin, and I don't want you to miss a moment of his preparation."

Yamcha nodded, his excitement growing once again. He leaned closer to the television, his eyes fixed on the screen as Takibi appeared, standing among the other bean-like characters but they were all shaped like him, like a bunch of Takibis with silly little faces. But he was wearing a determined expression.

"Alright, Takibi," Yamcha whispered, his voice filled with anticipation. "Show us what you've got!"

*Door Dash*

Yamcha and Melvin leaned forward in anticipation, their eyes fixated on the vibrant screen. Instead of the small bean like creatures a boisterous crowd of Takibi like characters filled the starting line, their tails wagging with excitement. Among them, Takibi stood poised, his ears perked and his eyes gleaming with determination.

The first row of doors loomed ahead, an array of colorful barriers stretching into the distance. Takibi's focused gaze scanned the chaotic scene, his nostrils flaring as he inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of anticipation. With each breath, he honed in on the subtle nuances, sniffing out the faint scent of vulnerability.

In an instant, Takibi exploded forward, his lithe form slicing through the sea of competitors. His paws barely made contact with the ground as he maneuvered through the maze of doors, his movements guided by instinct and agility. The sound of crashing doors echoed behind him as his muscular frame shattered the fragile obstacles with ease. Yamcha couldn't help but feel a swell of pride as he witnessed Takibi's prowess. The fiery determination in his friend's eyes fueled his own excitement, as if they were racing side by side. The room pulsed with an electric energy as they cheered Takibi on, their voices blending with the roar of the virtual crowd.

Approaching the final row of doors, Takibi's heart pounded in his chest. The stakes were higher now, the challenge more demanding. Only two doors beckoned him forward, concealing the path to victory. With unwavering focus, Takibi relied on his senses, his senses alone. His nose twitched, detecting the faint scent of splintered wood and the lingering aroma of uncertainty. A surge of excitment coursed through Takibi's veins as he made his choice. Muscles coiled, he sprinted towards the door, his body colliding with it in a breathtaking display of speed and power. The door buckled under the impact, yielding to his sheer determination. Takibi burst through the crumbling barrier, his triumphant yelp reverberating through the arena.

Yamcha and Melvin erupted in jubilant cheers, their living room transformed into a spectacle of celebration. Takibi's competitors stumbled and faltered, their dreams of victory shattered like the doors they failed to conquer. But Takibi was unstoppable, his pace unyielding as he raced towards the finish line. Every pawstep propelled him closer to glory, the deafening applause of the virtual crowd fueling his sprint. The wind whipped through his fur as he surged forward, the exhilaration of the chase consuming him. With the finish line in sight, Takibi summoned his last reserves of energy, his body a blur of motion.

And then, in a breathtaking display of strength and determination, Takibi crossed the finish line, his paws skidding to a halt on the pristine surface. A triumphant howl escaped his throat, echoing through the digital realm. Yamcha and Melvin leaped from their seats, their joyous cries intertwining with the sound of victory.

"He did it!" Yamcha exclaimed, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Takibi, you were amazing!"

Melvin clapped his hands in delight, thoroughly impressed by Takibi's performance. "That was just the first challenge, and he aced it! I can't wait to see what he does next!"

Yamcha's excitement grew, his doubts from earlier dissipating completely. He realized that Takibi was not only capable of handling challenges but also thriving in them. It was a testament to his resilience and potential.

As the next challenge approached on the screen, Yamcha and Melvin settled back, ready to continue their watchful gaze over Takibi's journey. The sun began to set outside, casting a warm glow over the room as they eagerly awaited the young fire type Pokémon's next test of skill and determination.

Yamcha's curiosity piqued as he watched the screen, eager to see what the next challenge held for Takibi. Melvin, however, insisted on keeping the surprise intact, adding to the excitement of the moment.

*See Saw*

As the screen transitioned to the next course, the vibrant and wobbling see-saws came into view. Yamcha leaned forward, his eyes fixed on the screen, ready to witness Takibi's agility and adaptability in action.

Takibi, amidst a sea of other Takibi-like characters, leaped onto the first see-saw, his body instinctively adjusting to the shifting weight. He maintained his balance and quickly hopped onto the next platform as it tilted downward. Yamcha couldn't help but be impressed by Takibi's nimble movements, effortlessly navigating the wobbling platforms.

The challenge intensified as more players joined, causing the see-saws to tilt even more erratically. Takibi's determination was evident as he carefully calculated each jump, ensuring he landed on stable sections of the see-saws. His agile movements allowed him to adapt to the shifting weight and maintain his balance.

Occasionally, Yamcha held his breath as Takibi narrowly avoided falling off a tipping platform. But each time, Takibi regained his footing, displaying his resilience and quick reflexes.

Yamcha glanced at Melvin, a mixture of awe and excitement in his eyes. "He's doing it! Takibi is taking on this challenge with such skill and grace."

Melvin nodded, a proud smile on his face. "Indeed, Yamcha. Takibi's agility and adaptability are truly remarkable. He's mastering this course, one jump at a time."

As the course progressed, Takibi continued to leap from one see-saw to another, never losing his focus. The determination in his eyes was evident as he pushed forward, refusing to succumb to the challenges that the wobbling platforms presented.

Yamcha's admiration for Takibi grew with each passing moment. He realized that the young fire type Pokémon was not only physically capable but also possessed a strong sense of resilience and perseverance.

As Takibi neared the end of the course, his jumps became even more precise and calculated. With one final leap, he landed safely on the last stable platform, his tail wagging triumphantly.

Yamcha couldn't contain his excitement any longer. He jumped up from his seat, applauding Takibi's impressive performance. "That was incredible! Takibi, you did amazing!"

As the next challenge loomed on the screen, Yamcha and Melvin eagerly awaited what lay ahead. The bond between Yamcha and Takibi grew stronger with each passing challenge, and they were both excited to see how far Takibi would go on his journey of growth and discovery.

*Hex-A-Gone*

Yamcha observed the Hex-A-Gone challenge on the screen. The complexity of the course was apparent, However, he quickly reminded himself of the trust he had placed in Melvin and the resilience Takibi had displayed so far.

"Takibi," Yamcha said, his voice filled with determination. "This is your final challenge. Show us what you're made of!"

Takibi barked in response as if he could hear him, his eyes fixed on the screen, ready to take on the daunting course. As the countdown began, Yamcha and Melvin watched attentively, their anticipation growing.

Once the round started, Takibi wasted no time. He leaped from one hexagonal platform to another, his movements precise and calculated. As platforms disappeared beneath his paws, Takibi adjusted his trajectory and swiftly navigated to stable ground.

The young fire type Pokémon seemed to have an innate understanding of the disappearing platforms, strategically planning his jumps to stay one step ahead. The challenge intensified as more and more platforms disappeared. The gaps between the remaining tiles grew larger, testing Takibi's spatial awareness and decision-making. But he remained focused, his determination unyielding.

Yamcha nodded, a mixture of pride and nervousness in his expression. "Keep going, Takibi! You've got this!"

With each passing second, Takibi gracefully hopped from one disappearing tile to another, never faltering in his rhythm.

The crowd of competitors thinned, leaving only a few remaining. Yamcha's heart raced as Takibi continued to evade the pink slime, his movements becoming even more precise and confident. Melvin joined in the celebration "Well I be damned, you conquered the Hex-A-Gone challenge! You're a true champion"

Takibi barked happily, his tail wagging furiously. He had surpassed all expectations, showcasing his bravery, agility, and unwavering spirit.

"Ok this is the final challenge, it will for sure put a strain on him…I think" Melvin said.

As the race began, the the first obstacle stood tall before it an enormous spinning platform with narrow pathways. Takibi leaped onto the platform, its paws landing with grace. With some resolve It skillfully balanced on the ledges, its tail serving as a counterweight, aiding in its stability. One wrong move could spell disaster, but Takibi remained resolute and agile, maintaining its poise with each step.

The final stretch awaited Takibi, a vertical climb on a sheer wall, with slimy obstacles and protruding platforms. The ascent seemed insurmountable, but Takibi summoned its inner strength. It unleashed small bursts of fire from its mouth, creating footholds on the slimy wall, allowing it to scale the seemingly impossible heights. Its powerful hind legs propelled it upward, its claws digging into the temporary footholds, inching closer to the peak.

Amidst a symphony of falling competitors and the relentless rise of the slime, Takibi never lost sight of its goal. As the screen faded, signalling the end of the game, Yamcha and Melvin shared a moment of elation. They had witnessed Takibi's growth firsthand and were overwhelmed with a sense of pride and awe.

Yamcha turned to Melvin, a grateful smile on his face. "Whoa...Melvin you were right about Takibi. He's proven himself in every challenge. I'm so proud of him."

Melvin grinned, his eyes sparkling with satisfaction. "I told you, didn't I? Takibi is a fighter, and he'll continue to grow stronger with each challenge he faces."

Yamcha nodded, his gaze returning to Takibi who had returned and was now nestled comfortably by his side. "You're amazing, Takibi. And you know what?"

Takibi nuzzled against Yamcha's leg, expressing his appreciation and loyalty. The bond between them had grown stronger throughout their journey, and they were ready to face the future with confidence and unwavering determination.

"You must be tiring huh? I bet this was some nice training"

Melvin observed Yamcha's beaming smile, knowing that his friend was still overwhelmed with pride and joy for Takibi's achievements. But he also believed that Takibi deserved a special reward for his remarkable performance.

"Yamcha," Melvin said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I think it's time we give Takibi a well-deserved reward. He's proven himself beyond expectations, and I have just the thing to make it extra special."

Yamcha's curiosity was piqued as he glanced at Melvin, his head tilting slightly. "A reward? What do you have in mind"

Melvin raised his staff, and with a twinkle in his eyes, he tapped the staff gently on the ground. A soft glow emanated from the staff, enveloping Takibi in a warm, golden light.

Yamcha watched in anticipation as the glow faded, revealing Takibi still standing there. At first, Yamcha didn't notice any immediate changes, assuming the reward was something subtle.

"What did you do, Melvin?" Yamcha asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

Melvin chuckled, pointing at Takibi. "Just take a closer look, Yamcha. Look at Takibi."

Takibi was scratching his ear with his leg "Man I really wish I could eat some steak tonight, all that was quite the workout"

Yamcha's eyes widened in surprise as he heard Takibi's words clearly in his mind. He blinked a few times, trying to comprehend what was happening. "Wait...I can understand him"

Takibi paused, his ears perking up as he looked at Yamcha, still under the assumption that only he could hear his own thoughts. "Wait, they understand me? I thought I was just thinking out loud"

Yamcha chuckled, a mix of amazement and amusement in his voice. "Whoa! It's true I can really hear him"

"The reward is that you guys can understand each other but not just you, anyone who hears him as well so we have no language barriers" Melvin explained.

Takibi's tail wagged with excitement, and he bounced happily in place. "That's amazing! I can actually talk to Father"

Yamcha's eyes widened in shock as he heard Takibi refer to him as "Father." He blinked a few times, processing the unexpected words. "Wait... did he just call me father?"

Takibi tilted his head, looking up at Yamcha with innocent, pleading eyes. "Um... can I call you father? I mean, if you don't mind"

Yamcha's heart skipped a beat, a mix of surprise and delight washing over him. He couldn't resist the adorable face Takibi was making, and the genuine admiration in his voice. How could he say no?

A warm smile spread across Yamcha's face, his voice filled with a mixture of tenderness and happiness. "Well, I... I suppose you can call me father, I consider you as part of my family too."

Takibi's eyes sparkled with joy and gratitude. He nuzzled against Yamcha's leg, his tail wagging happily "Thank you, Father! I promise I'll make you proud!"

As Yamcha basked in the newfound connection with Takibi and the unexpected title of "Father," he couldn't help but reflect on the remarkable turn of events. He glanced down at Takibi, who was still nuzzling against his leg. Yamcha felt a swell of warmth in his heart, realizing just how much this little fire type Pokémon had come to mean to him.

"Father," the word echoed in Yamcha's mind, filling him with a sense of responsibility and pride. He never expected to be called that, but it touched a tender spot within him. He was determined to be the best father figure he could be, supporting Takibi on his journey and helping him reach his full potential.

Just as Yamcha was lost in his thoughts, he noticed Melvin holding up a phone and angling it to take a picture of the heartwarming scene. Yamcha's eyes widened, and he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in surprise.

"Are you taking a picture right now? For real?" Yamcha asked, a mix of amusement and disbelief in his voice.

Melvin smirked mischievously, capturing the moment with a click. "I had to, Yamcha. This is a precious memory, and I couldn't let it slip away."

Yamcha chuckled, shaking his head at Melvin's antics. "Well, I guess it is a memory worth capturing. Just make sure to send me a copy later."

Melvin grinned, pocketing his phone. "Consider it done, daddy!"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

As Yamcha and Melvin shared a laugh, Takibi looked up at them with an innocent and playful expression, unaware of the photo being taken. He wagged his tail, bringing an atmosphere of joy and contentment to the air.

A\N: This was a fall guys challenge based, while I never played the game per say, I did some research and hope it ended up as cool as I hope it to be and yeah Takibi can talk now, and not just Yamcha but anyone can understand him, thought it would be a cool first reward.
