AN: Enjoy the epilogue of the Unova Arc, now onto Sinnoh!
Ch 70 Unexpected Visit
It's been a few days since the Battle at the Pokemon League, after Ghetsis's disappearance and N's departure. Team Plasma has been disbanded.
The remaining Seven Sages were in hiding, and the many Grunts who didn't manage to escape the League were captured by the Gym Leaders.
For the escapees and the Seven Sages, the International Police was called in to track down these wanted People.
The Castle that once surrounded the Unova League has retreated back to the ground like it wasn't there before. The Pokemon League sustained a bit of damage, but repairs to the Building went underway the next day.
And as for the Champion, Alder and the Chairman of the Pokemon League decided to let Hilda become the new Unovan Champion. The reasons were simple, she defended Unova against Team Plasma and also defeated the current Champion, N.
Speaking of N, nobody has seen or heard from him for a week. Possibly away from the Cities and Towns to better think about his life.
Cedric Juniper has taken in both Anthea and Concordia, offering them a place to call home in nothing in return. Both Girls agreed with the arrangement, only asking the Professor to teach them about People and Pokemon.
Things in Unova were slowly returning to normal, the Authorities were quelling some Team Plasma remnants throughout the Region.
As for Adam and Helena, they stayed the week back in Opelucid City before heading toward Undella Town, meeting a friend of his.
The blue and blonde-haired Professor looks at Helena, taking note of her quietness recently. "Helena, are you okay?" Adam asked his Apprentice, a bit concerned for her after the ordeal with Team Plasma and the Pokemon League.
"Hmm? Oh, yes, I'm fine Professor. I was just… regretting something when Hilda and I confronted N." Helena explained to her Father figure.
"Regretting something?" Adam raised his eyebrow at Helena, curious about why she was feeling regret.
Helena just gave her Mentor a smile, answering his question. "It's nothing major, I just simply forgot to ask N something before he left." The black-haired trainer said as the two of them walked through the Gate leading to Route Thirteen. "But that time didn't seem the right time to ask him."
Adam nodded, understanding what Helena said. "I see, it's better to be considerate of others than yourself after that ordeal." The Professor stated. His face then shifts to an odd expression,
"Is something wrong, Professor? You're making the face when something's bothering you." Helena asked, looking at the blue and blonde Professor.
The young Professor just smiles, not wanting to make her worry. "It's nothing, now let's head to Undella Town," Adam said, changing the subject.
Helena nodded, placing her and on her chin. "I remember you telling me that you have a Friend who stays in Undella Town to rest a bit from her Job." The black-haired girl said, remembering what he said a few days before.
Adam nodded, confirming what the Ability User said. "Yes, my Friend is a Researcher who studies Ancient Ruins. In fact, we studied under Professor Rowen at a time before I went on my own Journey." He explains to his Apprentice.
"I believe you heard of her, but I want to introduce her to you properly." Adam smiles,
"So, there are no hints at all then?" Helena asked, now curious, who the Professor was mentioning.
The blue and blonde-haired Professor merely placed a finger on his lips, still keeping it as a secret. Helena just made a pouting face, playing along with his game.
Adam couldn't help but chuckle. However, his eyes caught something from behind them. The Professor turns around, looking at the surroundings "Are you sure nothing is bothering you, Professor?" Helena asked, noticing how he kept looking back.
"Yes, I'm sure. It just feels like someone's following us." Adam explains to his Apprentice, but he brushes it off thinking it was some curious Pokemon. "It must be some Pokemon curious about us."
Helena nodded, seeing that they were in a forested area it made sense. "I guess you're right," She smiles as they continue their way.
Unbeknownst to the two, they were being followed by someone. Someone was hiding behind a tree as Helena and Professor Ceder left for Undella Town. He follows them, despite knowing it'll be creepy.
Once they entered the Gate, they were met by a peaceful Beachside Town. There were no large Skyscrapers, just Hotels, vendors, Beach Houses, and many docks for Boats.
Helena took in a deep breath, smelling the Ocean breeze in the air. "It's quaint here," She commented, liking the calm atmosphere.
The fact there were People in the water, playing with their Pokemon, or the boardwalk was filled with People and Pokemon was a peaceful sight.
"Professor, does your Friend have a House here in Undella Town?" the black-haired Ability User asked her Mentor.
"In a way, she has a Friend who offers her Beach House from time to time. I believe you met here briefly, Caitlin of the Elite Four." Adam said, reminding his Apprentice whom they met.
Helena remembers the blonde Woman with a Gothitelle during the Battle at the Unova League. "Ah, I remember now. She's the one with the Gothitelle who's with Brycen and the other Elite Four member, Marshal." She commented.
Adam nodded, confirming what Helena said was correct. "Yes, you're right." He then looked at one of the Beach Houses they were coming up to. "Ah, we're here." He points to the small Beach House right next to them.
The young Researcher looked up at the Beach House; the sight was beautiful. It was a small Beach House with plants wrapping around the House and white fences. "This House is gorgeous; Caitlin must really like flowers."
"That's right, she said these help her to sleep," Adam commented before hearing a piano playing from within.
Helena raised her eyebrow, hearing the intense playing of someone on the piano. "Is that a piano?" She asked her Professor.
"Oh…she's really going there," The blue and blonde-haired Professor sighed, knowing who was playing. He walks over to the front door, taking note that it's unlocked.
"Wait, Professor!" Helena reached out, only to hear the piano louder,

Helena watches as her Mentor enters Caitlin's Beach House, following him inside. She was getting concerned since they just entered the House without the Owner's permission. "Professor Ceder!" She calls out to him.
The black-haired trainer quickly followed her Mentor, stopping near the room where the piano got louder. Standing next to Professor Ceder, Helena saw the Person who was playing the piano.
A beautiful blonde Woman wearing dark clothes, and a dark jacket. She has two hair ornaments on her blonde hair and a familiar necklace around her next. "Wyscan?" Helena asked, seeing the similarities between the two. (End song)
"Hmm? Wyscan? I have no idea who that is." The Woman stops playing the piano, stands up, and approaches them.
Once Helena got a good look at her, her mouth hung open. "I-Is that…"
The blonde Woman gave a warm smile, "Adam, been while. How's my number one Rival?" She asked the blue and blonde-haired Professor.
Helena looks at Adam, chuckling with his arms crossed. "Busy, but good. How about you?" The blue and blonde-haired Professor asked.
"Just taking in the moments of peace before heading back to work." The blonde Woman spoke before the two laughed.
Adam shook his head, smiling at the Woman. "It's been too long, Cynthia. Still terrorizing trainers with your intro I see." He said, motioning to the piano they heard.
Cynthia smiles, "I never had a break since I've become Champion a few years back. I needed a refresher." The Champion of the Sinnoh Region commented her eyes then noticed Helena, standing next to Adam. "Hello there, you must be Helena Potter. Adam's Apprentice, am I right?" She asked.
Helena shook her head, answering the Champion. "No-I mean yes, yes I am." She answered her. "Sorry, I'm just…it's just an honor to meet you. I read and heard so many of your Work, especially in Solaceon, Celestica ruins from my Friend and Professor Ceder." She stated, feeling excited to meet someone she admires to be.
"The honor is all mine, Helena. It's nice to meet a fellow Researcher on our trip." Cynthia smiles, happy to have a young mind with them.
The young Researcher blinks confused by what the Sinnoh Campion is saying. She turns to Professor Ceder for some help. "Ah, right, I didn't explain to you yet." Adam cleared his throat, informing Helena what was happening.
"We're heading to the Sinnoh Region where we have discovered some new ruins," Adam explains to the black-haired trainer.
"That's right, these ruins are very old, and we need someone who has in-depth knowledge of Ancient ruins," Cynthia said, eyeing her Rival next to them.
Adam nodded, "I agree to it, plus my Sister's already there as we speak." The blue and blonde-haired Professor explains. "It'll be nice, you get to see what my topic of Study is all about. Plus, it might help you with your own Research."
Helena nodded, seeing this was an opportunity of a lifetime in her field. "Now. I'm excited, when are we going to the Sinnoh Region?" She asked the two.
The Champion chuckles, seeing the eagerness Helena has for learning new things. Her Personality reminded her of her own youth when she was studying and traveling on her Journey. "Not quite yet, Helena. The Ship to Canalave City won't be here in another few more hours."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just excited to go to Sinnoh." Helena chuckles, apologizing for being too eager.
"No, don't be, Helena," Cynthia stated, fully understanding where she came from.
Adam cleared his throat, looking at his Apprentice. "Since there's time to spare before our Ship to Sinnoh, why don't you look around what Undella Town is all about." The Professor suggested, wanting her to take the time to rest.
The blonde Champion nodded, supporting her Rival. "Your Mentor's right, take the time to explore this Town." Cynthia also suggested to Helena. "The Ocean breeze here is smoothing and cleanses the stress you might be having…so that's what I heard from Caitlin."
Helena took both Adults' suggestions and decided to look around the Town. "Yeah, I guess I do need the time to wine down." She commented.
"We'll call you when the time for us to go." Adam held to his Rotom Phone, indicating that she needed to keep it on her.
Helena nodded, turning to the entrance of the Beach House. "Got it, see you later then!" She smiled and left the House.
Cynthia turns to Adam, smirking at him. "Gotta say, she's a lot like me when I was younger." She commented, raising an eyebrow at her Rival. "Is that why you decided to take her on as your Apprentice, Ceder?"
Adam chuckles, responding to the Champion's comment. "That and also her determination to learn too." He smiles, happy to have someone like Helena around.
Undella Town
Helena smiles, walking on the streets of the Beach Town. It was quite peaceful, allowing her to relax and listen to the waves of the Beach. "Ah, Cynthia's right…this totally relieved my stress." She commented before walking down to the observation area where Tourists use telescopes to look for Water-type Pokemon in the Oceans.
Leaning on the stone wall, Helena allowed the Ocean breeze to blow through her hair. For the longest time, she hadn't registered that her hair was longer, reaching down her mid-back.
Her hair wasn't all tangled now, since she got to this World, things were looking great for her. She has new Friends, a new Home, a promising Career of her choosing, and most of all, someone special to her.
Helena smiles, now thinking of Steven and what he's doing now currently. "I wonder what Steven's doing right now?" She asked, curiosity got to her as she decided to check the news.
Scrolling on Hoenn's News page, Helena saw that Steven recently gained more attention than before. Many articles are saying that he's every Girl's dream to be with, he's been researching the geological landmass of the Region and many more. "Well, I figured that might happen. Steven's now Champion and he's bound to get more attention…I wonder what Wallace is doing?"
Helena decided to look at Wallace's whereabouts, scrolling down for anything. Then she spots something interesting, "Wallace has been crowned Top Coordinator of Hoenn, winning every Contest he participated in." She smiles, happy to see him doing well after he's been dethroned as Champion. "So you're in the Johto Region in another Contest."
Helena was truly happy for her Friends, continuing with their Journey after completing their goals. She looks out at sea, now thinking about what she wants to do after this Research Trip she's on. "Everyone has their life figured out…I wonder what mine would be…" She knew her goal was to be a Researcher, but now after reading what Steven and Wallace were up to, she can't but think about what comes after her current Journey.
While pondering that notion, Helena didn't notice someone standing behind her.
Turning around, Helena opens her eyes before yelping. "GAH!"
Standing behind her was someone she didn't expect to meet again. "N?" Helena asked,
N stood before Helena, his mouth opened and hand reaching out to her like trying to get her attention.
"I-I…" N gulps, unable to say the thing he wanted to say to Helena.
Helena got a good look at N, his appearance didn't change. He still wore the same outfit as they met, and the hat he always wears. However, his hair was cut, not that short but it was cut into a long mullet,
Seeing that N was nervous to speak, Helena decided to break the ice. "I see you got yourself a haircut. Did Anthea or Concordia cut it for you?" She asked gently, looking at N's appearance.
"N-Not exactly…" N placed his hand on the back of his neck, "I-I cut it on my own, y-you clearly see that this is my first time doing it…so it's not as good as I wanted it to be." He answered
Helena smiles, "I like it, it's both you and new." She said, watching him look at her.
"R-Really?" N asked, showing a bit of a smile.
Helena nodded, seeing that her comment made him happy. She then looks at him sternly, having a serious question. "N, what are you doing here?"
N frowns, hearing that question he predicted for her to ask. "I thought you said that you needed to think about yourself and reflect on your own," Helena asked, curious why the former King of Team Plasma was here.
The green-haired trainer took in a deep breath, answering his Friend's question. "I did, it took me a few days of reflecting on my life," N stated, explaining to Helena what happened. "I went on for days, thinking about what I wanted to do since I was lied to by Ghetsis. For my entire life, I haven't had the chance to enjoy the life I wanted to have."
"I've asked my Friends on what I should do now that Team Plasma was disbanded," N said to his fellow Ability User. "Each of them said that I should do something that makes me truly happy. Even Reshiram suggested that too."
Helena paused, hearing the name of the Legendary Dragon. "Reshiram? You still have him on you?" She asked,
N nodded, showing the Pokeball Reshiram was in. "Yes, I offered him to be released but he said that he wanted to stay with me." He explained, "That if I released him, he would just go back into hibernation."
"I see…"
N nodded, returning back to his reason for appearing before her. "After pondering what my Friends said, I try to figure out what makes me happy other than spending time with my Friends." The former trainer looks at Helena, smiling at her. "And that is you."
"Me?" Helena asked, curious where this was going. "But N, I don't-"

"No, you got it wrong, Helena," N said, catching what she was about to say. He then explains the feeling he had within him. "The time we've spent together, talking, teaching me about Pokemon I never knew…and just being around you. It truly makes me happy, like…"
"Siblings?" Helena asked, seeing that's the perfect word to describe what he was feeling.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm feeling. Like we're Siblings, I don't know why but that's explained everything." N stated, happy to have the chance to tell her.
Helena couldn't help but smile at N's happy expression. "That's exactly how I feel too when we're together." She commented, sharing the same feelings.
N chuckles before getting to the point of being here. "So, if you don't mind that is…may I join you and Professor Ceder on your Journey? To be honest, I'm curious about your research on Pokemon." He admits he is curious about the Ancient Pokemon World. "Also…I want to understand Pokemon and People through your eyes."
Helena could tell that N was genuinely curious about what she was researching. She smiles at him, happy to have him come and happy to teach him about People and Pokemon. "Sure, I'm happy to have you along, N."
N smiles, happy that Helena accepted him to join her. "I'm glad, thank you, Helena."
"And that's how I met your Uncle and Aunts." Helena smiles, looking at the two Boys in their beds. The two Boys smile, looking at the black-haired trainer. "From there on, he traveled with me and became my Assistant. Soon, our Sisters came after when we got back to Hoenn."
"So that's how you met Uncle N, Mommy?" A young Boy around the age of four asked their Mother. The young Boy has Steel-blue hair, a pale complexion, and Emerald green eyes, wearing a light green footies pajama. "Uncle N is so cool! Reshiram too, I was wondering where he met him."
Helena nodded, smiling looking at her Son. "Reshiram and your Uncle have a strong Bond, Aiden. They have bonded ever since he showed his determination to find the Truth about People and Pokemon." Helena said to the young Boy.
"Um…Mommy…" Helena looks at her other Son, hearing him call her.
"Yes, Kacey?" The Ability User looks at a white-haired Boy around four with steel-blue eyes and wearing a blue footies pajama.
"How did Daddy react to Uncle N?" Kacey asked his Mother.
Aiden nodded, agreeing with his Twin Brother. "Yeah, how did Daddy take about Uncle N, Mommy?" The steel-blue-haired Child asked.
Helena couldn't help but chuckle at her Boys asking about their Uncle and Father's relationship back then. "Well, for starters did you know that your Uncle is very protective over me? Even to your Daddy?"
"Really!?" The Twins asked, now inventive to their Father and Uncle's relationship.
"Yes, it all started…"
