Ch 79 Helena's Daily Life

Hogsmeade, Three Broomsticks

After that faithful encounter with that strange Dementor, the New Trio and the two Marauders regroup in Hogsmeade. Sirius had a disguise on, hiding his appearance from the Public. They barely escaped with their lives,

"What was that thing," Cedric said, never seeing anything like that before. "What sort of Dementor lives in the Forbidden Forest!?" The bronze-haired Wizard asked.

Ginny looks at Hermione and Remus if they know anything about anything about the strange Dementor. "Professor Lupin, Hermione do you two know anything about a Dementor being in the Forbidden Forest?" She asked the two.

"Like a Dementor that went rogue when the Dementors were here last year?" The red-haired Witch asked the two,

The two looked at each other before speaking, "No, there wasn't anything about a rogue Dementor still lingering after the situation last year." Remus said, having all sorts of information from Dumbledore. "Dumbledore hasn't received any information from the Ministry about any rogue Dementors either."

Hermione fell silent, remembering the book about two Guardians that protect the Ruin and Mirror from the book. "I don't think that was a Dementor…" She said, informing the group of what that thing was.

"What do you mean? That thing looks like a Dementor, so it has to be one." Ginny exclaims, not understanding what she means.

"I think it's a misperception, a trick to fool us into thinking it was a Dementor," Hermione said, taking out the book, believing she read something about a Dementor-like Creature within it. She looks through the book once more.

Everyone observes the bushy-haired Girl, reading through the book. Hermione stopped flipping through the pages, finding what she was looking for. "Ah, there it is." She points to the picture.

Sirius saw Hermione's eyes filled with excitement when she found the Page. "Hermione, what did you find?" The Wizard asked the young Witch.

"I knew that thing's appearance sounds familiar," Hermione said, reading the passage in the book. "That Dementor in the Forbidden Forest isn't a Dementor like we assume." She explains,

"Then what is it?" Sirius asked, curious what that thing was.

Hermione showed the image of a dot making a cross. "It's the Ruin's Guardian, the Giant created from a cloth of Death." She explains,

Cedric looks at the image, surprised that they encountered the Guardian. "So that was the Guardian of the Ruins." He looks up, putting the clues together. Helena's wand, the Tree, and now the Guardian, "That means we were this close to finding the Ruins and the Mirror Helena used."

"If we're this close to the Ruins then we should go back." Sirius hastily said, almost toppling the table over. "We were so close to finding my Goddaughter!" He exclaims before realizing that Wizards and Witches were watching them.

Remus quickly grabs hold of Sirius's arm, chuckling at them. "S-Sorry, my Friend here had a little too much to drink!" The Werewolf quickly came up with an excuse for his Friend, still wanted by the Ministry.

Once Remus got Sirius back in his seat, he immediately leaned to his ears. "(Are you daft, Sirius!? You almost revealed that we were looking for Helena!)" The Werewolf scolded the Animagus, "(Are you trying to get yourself caught and reveal what we're doing!?)"

"S-Sorry, Mooney. I'm just…really worried for Helena." Sirius said, feeling guilty for acting late in this conundrum she was in. "Only if I was there and acted in time…then…then…"

"Look, Sirius, it's not your fault," Hermione spoke up, looking at the black-haired Wizard. "Now we need to find a way to get past that Giant and get ready to pass the other one." The bushy-haired Witch said,

"Are you sure there was a second Giant there?" Cedric asked Hermione, trying to remember if he saw something else in the Forbidden Forest. "I don't think I saw a second Giant there,"

Ginny turns to the bronze-haired Wizard, "That's because we were quickly interrupted by the Dementor-er Giant to even look for a second Giant." The red-haired Witch stated reasoning for not seeing any second Giant Guardian.

Cedric nodded, accepting the reason made by Ginny. "Yeah, you might be right, Ginny." He turns to Hermione, curious about what she has planned to get past the Giants. "Hermione, what do you have planned?"

Everyone turns their attention to Hermione, knowing full well she's great with planning. "Alright, here's what I got so far…"

Unbeknownst to them, their conversation was overheard by a certain red-haired Boy sitting next to the stairs. "Tch, so they are trying to find where Helena is hiding." Ron Weasley said to himself, he looked away knowing what to do. "If they're going to find Helena, I have to follow them where Helena is hiding." With that, he saw the group leave attempting another go to bypass the Guardians of the Ruins.

Hoenn Region, Rustboro City

It's been at least a few months since Helena returned to Hoenn, landing in Evergrande City's National Airport. Helena never felt relieved to be back after a long time traveling,

She was able to graduate with a certificate that made her one of the youngest Professors who earned their Now she's a real Professor, however just because she is one doesn't mean that she's well known.

Adam told her to get People to notice her Work/Research, she needs to make some connections to the right People. Now that she's Seventeen, she can do that.

Upon arrival, they were bombarded with Journalists and Reporters. They were there for Steven's return and wondering why he left.

Steven had Adam take both her and N away, not wanting them to be caught with the Media. In short, he asked the Professor to take them to the back alley, where nobody could see them.

When they successfully evaded the Paparazzi, they were met by one of the Devon Corporation's Security Guards. They were escorted to a private Car where they were taken to the Trainer School.

At the School, Headmaster Keith and surprisingly Roxanne, Brawly, and Flannery greeted Helena and Professor Ceder back from their trip.

Helena asked about Wallace, seeing him not present at the Welcome Back Party. Brawly went and explained to her that Wallace was in Sinnoh competing in Pokemon Contests there.

Wallace won't be back in Hoenn for another few Months to Helena's dismay, he was looking forward in in seeing Wallace again.

Not getting the missing Person to get to her, she proceeded to introduce N, once Roxanne pointed him out.

To everyone's surprise, they weren't expecting Helena to adopt herself a Brother. But seeing Helena is unique in that way, they accepted it.

N was surprised to see how welcoming Helena's Friends were to him. He had heard about them from Professor Ceder. They started to ask how they met and how does it feel to be in Hoenn.

The green-haired trainer smiles, speaking to them like the People he met through the Regions he visited. Just like Helena when she first came to Hoenn, he was able to befriend them.

Helena was relieved that N was getting along with her Friends. Now N has Friends here he can trust,

After the Welcome Party and once Brawly returns to Dewford Town and Flannery to Lavaridge Town, Helena goes to Keith where Adam offers her and N Jobs here at the School. Helena is the Assistant Professor of course to Adam and N as the Daycare Attendant in the Daycare.

As for housing, Professor Ceder's home is livable for one person, however, Roxanne offered her home for the two to stay in.

Back when Helena left, Roxanne finished her schooling and bought herself a Home around the school area. Now with a Job and a temporary place to call Home, Helena can work on searching for a place for her Lab/Home.

It was a beautiful morning in Rustboro City, the air was warm, and the morning Sun shone through the window.

The Sunlight shines in the Home of Roxanne, Helena got up for the day. She got ready for the Day. Since she's going to be working as a Professor Assistant in the School,

Helena got dressed in a simple white button shirt, a dark pink tie, and a pink skirt reaching to her upper knee with white detailing to the hem. She wore long brown boots that reached her knee.

She looks in the mirror, checking if the Trainer School Teacher Uniform looks good on her. "Ellie, are you done?" Roxanne asked, knocking on the door. "We're going to be late for Work." She called out to her Friend.

Young Professor opens her room door, revealing Roxanne in the Teacher Uniform. A simple white shirt, grey vest with a skirt, skinny hot pink pants, buckled shoes, and a pink tie. Her brunette hair was tied into a twin tail held in a bow.

"Well? What do you think, Roxanne?" Helena asked, unsure of her appearance. "Too much? I know you wore this Uniform before I even got back to Hoenn." She smiles at her Friend.

Roxanne taps her chin, looking at Helena from head to toe. "Hmm…try putting something in your hair. That should be enough…" The brunette trainer said, "The right hairstyle always seems to be the right answer. I mean look at mine, sometimes a little tweak can help."

"Right, hmmm…" Helena thought about what hairstyle to go by. Then she saw Roxanne's bow, prompting her to grab a bow from the drawer. She later adjusted her hair as it flowed over her shoulders.

Roxanne watched her tie add a pink bow to her hair then adjust her locks. Helena then turns to the brunette, showing her appearance to her. "Alright, how about now?"

"Cute," Roxanne spoke, describing her appearance now with a simple addition of a bow. She watched as her Friend looked at herself in her mirror. "See? What did I tell you, Ellie? A simple change could do good." She commented.

Helena smiles, appreciating her help in getting ready. "Thanks again Roxy for giving your input." She said.

Roxanne chuckles, "I did have some trouble with my hair when I first wore that Uniform. I learned that hair is the key to looking good in one of these." She commented before her eyes laid on the clock. "Oh Arceus, we're going to be late!"

"You're right, where's N?" Helena asked, curious about where her Brother was.

"He's waiting at the dining table," Roxanne informed her Friend, walking out of the Guest bedroom with Helena. "He always wakes up earlier than us, I'll be lying if I'm not jealous of his sleep schedule. No matter how early it is in the morning, he wakes up perky as always."

Helena chuckles, hearing her Friend being jealous of her Brother's sleep. "Well, that's N for you, Roxanne. His inner alarm clock always wakes him up on time." The black-haired trainer commented, entering the living room.

Upon entering the Living room of Roxanne's Apartment, N wore a white button shirt and grey pants with green running shoes. He was sipping his morning tea when he noticed the two Girls entering the room. "Hmm? You two are already ready?" N looks at the clock, taking note of the time. "Huh, look at the time. We better get moving before we're late."

"How is it that you're always this perky in the morning N?" Roxanne asked, wanting to know how he did it. "Is it something you take? Cause I could really use that,"

The green-haired trainer ponders, not sure what his Sister's Friend means. "I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're asking how I was able to be up and about on time then it'll be because I sleep early like you used to when you were younger," N explains how he was able to get up ready for the morning.

The brunette blinks surprised how a simple thing like sleeping early could make someone perky. "Huh, thanks for telling me," Roxanne commented before realizing they were wasting time. "Right, work, let's get ready everyone!"

Helena turns to Roxanne, putting on her boots. "We can get coffee on our way to the School, Roxy." She said as N and Roxanne joined her and left the Apartment.

Devon Corporation

Within the Devon Corporation, Steven was in his Office looking through many documents about their Technology developments, research advances, and reviews of their products.

Working in the Devon Corporation was always his plan. Mainly his Father's Company has the resources to make it possible to do his hobby, spelunking.

Steven worked at the Devon Corporation when the League was on break. It'll be another Month until the Pokemon League starts up again.

He then heard a knock on his Office door, prompting Steven to answer. "Yes, come in."

A teal-haired Girl walks in, her cheeks flustered by the mere sight of Steven. "S-Steve- I mean Mr. Stone here's the documents you wanted." Maya Mitchells, little Sister to the former Champion Wallace informed the current Champion.

Maya was brought into the Devon Corporation for an Internship. Mainly the reason why she accepted the Internship is to get close to Steven.

Ever since she heard that Steven was supposedly coming back a few months ago. She went to the Airport every day in Evergrande City, under the guise of a Journey to her Parents.

However, when she found out that Steven was on a Research Trip in Sinnoh, Maya waited at the Airport. She waited until she discovered that Steven had extended his Trip by going to different Regions, eventually stopping at Paldea to do some Schoolwork.

That didn't change her plans on greeting him back from a long trip. When the day he returned from his trip, Maya took notice of how many Paparazzi were present. At that time it didn't matter, however, when she was about to greet him, she saw that Girl was with him.

Maya was livid that Helena Girl was with Steven, watching him quickly move her away from the Paparazzi. This sight led her to despise her even more, prompting her to look for any means to get close to Steven which led her to the Internship.

The teal-haired Girl smiles before noticing his eyes perked up. "M-Mr. Stone?" Maya asked, thinking that he noticed him. "Is there something-"

"Mother and Father are hosting a Masquerade Ball to raise funds," Steven said, not taking his eyes off the flyer.

Maya thought that Steven was going to ask her to be his date for the Ball. "I would love to go-"

Steven smiled before he got up from his desk, looking at Maya. "I'm going to visit the School, could you tell Father that I'll be gone for a while." The Steel-blue haired Champion asked,

The teal-haired Girl nodded, smiling and obliging to Steven's request. "Alright, I shall tell Mr. Stone," Maya said, watching the Champion leave his Office.

"Tch," Maya clicked her tongue, seeing the chance of being on a Date with him was gone. She went off, heading to meet with Joseph to relay the message Steven asked her to do.

In the Trainer School, the School was just like how Helena left it. It was filled with young first-time Trainers or young Children who wanted to be trainers.

Helena stood beside Professor Ceder during his lecture, her Job was to see if any of the Students needed help. She then noticed a Student was struggling to keep up,

Walking over to her, Helena leans forward. "Laura, is something the matter?" Helena asked the young trainer.

"Professor Potter, oh, um the lesson is a bit…fast for me," Laura answers the Assistant Professor.

"Don't worry, I'll help you, Laura." Helena smiles, leaning next to her to better know which passage she's stuck on. She saw where the young trainer was and helped her catch up.

Soon enough the bell rang as Adam finished his lesson today. "You're good Laura?" Helena asked, looking down at the young Girl.

The young trainer nodded, appreciating her assistance. "Yeah, thank you, Professor Potter! You really helped me!" Laura smiles, happy she was there to help her.

"Any time, Laura. I'll be here if you need any more help in this class." Helena said, waving her Student goodbye.

"Your first Month of teaching and you already made half the Class like you." The blue and blonde-haired Professor said, walking up to her.

Helena turns to her Mentor, smiling at his compliment. "Well, if I'm going to be a Professor, I have to start small. So why not with Children," She said, looking at the Lab Adam worked hard to make. "Though, I really do need to figure out how to obtain my very own Laboratory soon. I want to work on my research where that I could call my own."

Adam nodded, understanding his Assistant's plight. "I understand, Helena. But a Lab is very expensive, though you have the Money you still need-"

"Support, I understand. You got Headmaster Keith's support and given you this Lab," Helena said, motioning to the room they were in. "Where do you think I should start, Professor?" She asked, curious where she would find support.

"That's a hard question to answer, my faithful Student. There are a lot of places to start, but knowing the right one is crucial." Adam explains to the black-haired Professor that she needs to find the right People to support her. "Try going to social events. That's the best place to start looking for support, I found the Headmaster while doing that."

Helena nodded, taking note of the advice. "I'll think about it, Professor." She said before the bell rang as Students began to pile up for the next Period. "Welp, better get back to work." She smiles, heading to greet the Students while Adam prepares his lesson.

Later in the Day, Helena was on break deciding that she should look for Roxanne to go over to the coffee shop. She walked down the Hall, not noticing that someone was waiting for her.

"Professor Potter, a moment of your time?" Helena paused, looking up to see a Person she wasn't expecting.

"Steven, what are you doing here-no, better yet how did you get in?" Helena asked, walking over to her Boyfriend.

Steven smiles, placing his hands on his side. "Since I'm Champion, I got special permission to be here." He explains before asking her something in return. "What about you? Are you on break?" He asked,

Helena nodded, "Yes, I just got my break. I'm planning to meet Roxanne to go and have some coffee." She explains her plan to him.

"I see, what about N? Isn't he coming with you?" Steven asked, curious about her Brother.

"N is the Pokemon Daycare Attendant. There's a lot of little Kids there wanting to know how to properly train and care for Pokemon." Helena explains to her Boyfriend what N is doing. "As much as I want him to join us, I think having him spend time with the Kids and Pokemon makes him happy." She explains before asking him the real reason for coming.

"So, what is really your reason for coming here, Steven?" Helena asked, getting closer to him. "It's not just to see me, isn't it?" She asked, raising her brow.

Steven chuckles, grabbing her around her abdomen. "Well, that too but I also wanted to ask you something, Ellie." He said,

The young Professor blinks, now curious about what Steven wants to ask her. "What is it, Steven?" Helena asked,

Steven smiles, holding his Girlfriend in his arms. "So, my Parents are hosting a Masquerade Ball in a few Days. If it's alright with you, will you be my date for it?" He asked, giving her a charming expression.

Helena gave a little chuckle and couldn't help but accept the invitation from Steven. This was also a great opportunity to make some connections like what her Mentor said. "It does sound fun, a Masquerade Ball…I never attended one."

"Well, as your Boyfriend allow me to offer you a chance to attend." Steven smiles, taking her hand and kissing it. "It's next Friday at eight, Mother likes the Guests' Pokemon to dress up too. So you got plenty of time to think of something to wear."

The young Professor nodded, appreciating the heads-up for the following week. "Thanks for the notice, I'll shop with Kirlia for dresses later." Helena leans in and kisses him on the cheek before leaving him to find Roxanne. "I'll see you then, Steven."

"Yeah," Steven smiles, excited for the Masquerade Ball unlike before, he got someone he wants to enjoy it with.
