Chapter 61 Daddy will be here

Hiro was at Sonya's house and he was sleeping in bed with his wife as they both wore pajamas, he heard a screams.
"Daddy! Mommy!"
"Cassie is calling." He said.
"Go check on her. I do it the most." Sonya goes back to sleep.
Hiro got up and goes outside of the bedroom, he reaches Cassie's room.
"What's wrong Cassie?" He asked her.
She got out of the covers crying. "Daddy, I had a bad dream. You were gone."
He sits next to her and holds her. "It's alright Cassie, I would never leave you alone."
Cassie looks at him with a smile.
"You know theres a song I know." He said.
"Really?" She got curious.
He carried her up and decided to sing a little song as they looked out to see the stars outside.
It might seem scary in the dark
Where you can see even the little spark
But even when the moon goes away
There will always be a way
She looks at him with a amazed look.
Where the stars will shine through the sky
Daddy will always over you all day
In a place where you won't be afraid
Cassie smiles and holds on to him.
I will always protect you my little star
Where you won't ever have to run far
The place where you belong will always be there
As daddy will be here.
He cries a bit seeing his daughter sleeping and he sets her in bed while putting the covers over Cassie.
Daddy will be here.
He goes out of the room and closes the door. Hiro then sees Sonya holding a glass of water.
"Well, that's amazing." She smiles.
"Oh thanks." He rubs his head. "It's something my mother always sang, just changed a few of the words."
"Still your a great father Hiro." Sonya said.
He smiles at her words and the two went to bed. He was happy to spend with any one of his wives and children.
Next day
He was now at a park and he saw Cassie playing at the sandbox. He sits on a bench as he watches her.
"It's just makes me happy seeing her play." He said.
Sonya had work to do so he took over watching Cassie today, he was always happy to play with them.
"I know Mileena has been asking for me to come to Outworld. She's been the most demanding for me to come. I'll come to see my children but she would need to stop trying to make me stay in Outworld." He frowns a bit.
Someone walks by holding a fishing rod and it was Jax, he saw Hiro and said: "What, Hiro."
He looks. "Oh hey Jax."
"Surprised to see you here. So what brings you today?" Jax goes up to him.
"I just came to look after my daughter." Hiro said.
Jax looks to see Cassie playing. "Oh I see, Sonya must be at work."
"I'm surprised your not." Hiro said.
"I got a day off, so I went fishing." Jax said.
"So how's the family?" Hiro asked.
"Oh they're fine, Jacqui has been growing up so fast." He said.
Hiro nodded and looks at Cassie. "It's something that's bound to happen. They'll grow up so fast before you even know it."
He still knows as the champion he can never age and he lived on his own for a long time. Even before becoming the champion he was always in that forest with his family gone for a long time.
Only recently he found out about his mother and he was glad to have her back to his life.
"Yeah, in a instant they'll be in school before you can even blink." Jax nodded his head. "I'll have to go now, so have fun."
"Yes." Hiro nodded.
Jax leaves and heads back to his home. Hiro looks at Cassie and he smiles again seeing her happy face.
"I will always be there for you Cassie."
Cassie then finishes up and goes towards Hiro as he gets up, she holds his hand.
"I wanna have a treat." She said.
"Okay, i'll buy you ice cream." He said.
Cassie got happy while cheering and they went out, they looked around and he found a ice cream truck making him go up to it.
He ordered two one strawberry for Cassie as he takes a cherry one, Cassie got happy having her ice cream and licks it with a smile on her face. He smiles too as he eats his while they went forward.
"Well let's go back home." Hiro said.
"Okay." She nodded.
The two headed back to the house and she goes to watch cartoons while Hiro sits on the couch and Cassie was on the floor in front of the tv.
Sonya came inside. "I'm home."
"Hello Sonya." He smiles seeing her.
"It looks like you managed to do it." She said.
"Of course, I would always look after my children." He said.
Sonya sits next to him and said: "Well how was your day?"
"It was good, we went to the park and even got some ice cream together." He said.
She smiles. "You seem to be having the most fun here."
"Yes, Edenia and all the things it can offer is fine. But I truly do miss the simple times back home. Being here with you reminds me of those times." He looks at her.
Sonya looks at him. "Say, how about we make a vacation home at the forest."
"Really?" He said.
"Yes, you told me you used to live that way, so let's have a place to relax like how you used to." She said.
"Sonya, I don't know what to say." He said.
She patted his cheek. "Don't worry, I don't mind as i'm used to living off the woods. Plus having a place there is more peaceful."
He smiles at her. "Thank you."
Cassie runs up to them and hugs the two. "Huggy!"
They smiled and hugged her back together, he was happy to have his family and he wouldn't trade them for anything.
"Daddy can you show me to play music?" Cassie asked him.
"Just wait a bit more my little star." He rubs her cheek.
"Okay." She said.
He will train her in the arts of the oni later on, now he just wants her to be happy. To have the childhood he wanted to give his children, a place where they can be happy together without fear of anything going after them.
Note: Heres a special chapter focusing more on Hiro's time with his family, the song in the start I made it up for him to sing for Cassie and to show he would do anything for his kids.
