Chapter 62 Injustice

In the middle of the night Hiro was walking down a road as he looks around. He's been spending time with his kids as Cassie really loves that he's there for her.
"Well better deal with any problems." He said.
Hiro then senses something as he looks around. "What's this?"
A portal then opened surprising him as he got dragged inside of it. He then appears at a city that he's not familiar with.
"Where am I?" He said.
It was dark with the sign of corruption in the air. Like theres a danger around the place, something that many normal people would be scared.
"What is this place?"
He then senses someone and looks back to see a woman carrying a mace and she has wings.
"Your in Gontham."
"Who are you?" He said.
"I knew you were stranger the moment you came. The names Hawkgirl and i'm going to capture you for the regime." She gets ready.
He takes out his turning fork and taps it, he then transforms into Hibiki.
"An oni?" She got surprised.
"I am Hibiki."
"Well Hibiki, your even more of a threat." She charges at him.
He dodges her attacks and clashes with his rekkas hitting the mace, they traded blows while she flies around him.
She slams her mace down and he dodges before he shoots fire making her grunt.
"What?!" She felt the burns.
"You never felt the power of the champion of the elder gods." He said.
"Elder Gods? Who are they?" She demanded while charging.
She swings her mace again and he dodges before striking her in the chest making her grunt, then he slams her down making Hawkgirl feel even more pain.
She got up and stares at him. ""How can a oni like you be this strong?"
"Because of training. I've trained hard to surpass many foes." He said.
She charges at him and he does the same. They clashed they're weapons together making a big flash, then she got sent to the ground grunting again.
Hibiki got ready as he knows he's gotta finish her off fast.
Hawkgirl got up and she was dizzy, he then slams his rekkas to her chest as she grunted before failing down.
"That's what you get." He said.
Hibiki stares at her before he heard soldiers coming. "I must go."
He runs off to avoid the army that's coming, he runs forward and looks around before going through a alley.
"This world is strange, who are these warriors?"
"Allow me to assist you on that."
Hibiki looks back to see a man in a bat costume.
"Who are you?" Hibiki asked.
"I am Batman."
"Batman?" Hibiki got curious.
He takes him to a base with a table and giant computer there.
"Well Batman can you tell me what's going on?" Hibiki asked.
"What you faced was the Regime. You see they're leader Superman was tricked to kill his wife Lois Lane by the Joker, which caused Superman to kill him and enforce his Regime on others. Many heroes are either with them out of fear or his beliefs, while others are running. I formed the Insurgency to fight them." Batman said.
"I see, so what's the plan?" Hibiki asked.
"Originally my idea was to get the help from a alternate league, but it seems you and another got called here." Batman said.
"Another?" Hibiki got curious.
Someone comes out and Hibiki got surprised to see Kamen Rider Ghost.
"Ghost?!" Hibiki said.
"Hey there Hibiki, we finally meet." Ghost said.
"Good, you both know each other." Batman said.
"Yes through our titles. But to think he would be here too." Hibiki said.
"He comes from a alternate world of mine, where most of my friends are still teens. Including Lois so theres little chances of that Superman having a breakdown because of her." Batman said.
"Yeah, I was surprised when I heard that." Ghost said.
"So what do we do?" Hibiki said.
"We go to the Wayne Mansion, Ghost seems to be able to hack through the security and get in." Batman said.
"But what's the plan then?" Ghost said.
"To recover the Kryptonite stashed there." Batman said.
"Whoa! Kryptonite if you kill him your no better than him." Ghost said.
"I didn't say kill. I meant to shut down most of his powers to restrain him." Batman said.
"I see. Very well, anything we must know." Hibiki said.
"Yes." Batman takes out a special pills. "These are given to Superman's men to increase they're body's strenght and durability. It's best you take them too."
They shrugged before they opened the mouth pieces to eat them. They both felt stronger and Hibiki checks his arms.
"I see. Very impressive." Hibiki said.
"If Babs were to hear about this." Ghost said.
Batman thinks about the name and frowns a bit. "Well it's best we be prepared."
"Is there any place we should check?" Hibiki asked.
"Atlantis would be a place to start." Batman said.
"Well hope it's in the same place as back home." Ghost said.
"You're skills will be the most useful going inside there." Batman said.
Ghost nodded as he goes to get ready.
"Ghost might be young, but he's got the skills." Hibiki said.
"Yes, his powers and abilities is something we can use to have a advantage. He's got the heart of a real hero." Batman said.
Batman has talked with Ghost enough to know he's the heart of a true hero and has great hopes from him.
'Anybody that can face Darkseid is someone that can fight Superman.' Batman thinks.
Hibiki thinks about the events happening and that he and Ghost need to work together to save this world from Superman, even if it might be dangerous.
"Who else is in this group?" Hibiki asked.
"You'll meet them soon enough." Batman said.
Hibiki nodded as they go to get ready while Ghost deals with any problem at Atlantis to make sure they have a lead on Superman's agenda.
Note: heres the start of the new arc being Injustice game with Hibiki and Ghost working together here, they joined Batman's group and they gotta save the world now.
