Chapter 2 Home Sweet Home

Orko and Dree Elle were returning home back to the palace on Eternia after their honeymoon. "I am so looking forward to seeing everyone," Orko said.

"I am too," Dree Elle said. "It will be great to be home," she said. "I am so happy I will be living here with you," she said.

"I am glad you are going to be living here with me," Orko said. "Once we get back we can make our room look more like room for us instead of a room just for me," he said. "That will take a bit I think, because there is plenty of stuff that still needs to be cleared out of my room, that will now be our room," he said.

"That's true," Dree Elle said. "Now come on we better keep going," she said.

They made it back to the palace. Then Randor and Marlena saw them. "Orko and Dree Elle good to see you are back," Randor said.

"Good to be back Randor," Orko said. "I am so happy to be home," he said.

"It is good to be back, I think I am going to like living here," Dree Elle said.

"We hope you do," Marlena said.

Everyone else soon saw Orko was back. "Orko we are so happy you are back home," Adam said. "Good too see you are both back," he said.

"Yes we really missed you," Teela said.

"We missed you guys too," Orko said.

"It feels good to be back," Dree Elle said.

Soon Orko and Dree Elle began to fix up the room that used to be Orko's. Now the room belonged to both of them. They were busy getting it ready. They put in a nee bigger bed. Moved most of Orko's things to the storage area of the palace. Then they began putting new things in the room and make it more home like.

Dree Elle made the bed and other things. Orko was busy cleaning up much of the junk and trash. Soon the room was all set up.

"There we go," Orko said. "All set up," he said.

"Yes it took most of the day and now it is ready," Dree Elle said. "Now we can relax," she said.

"We sure can," Orko said hugging her.

Then Dree Elle kissed him. "I am so looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you," Dree Elle said. "I am happy we get to grow old together," she said.

"As am I," Orko said. "I am happy we are going to be together no matter how long we both shall live," he said.

"I hope our lives together will be good," Dree Elle said. "But I do know we will have our ups and downs," she said.

"I hope it will too," Orko said. "I know things might be hard at times but I know no matter what happens we have each other," he said. "I know all of our friends are here for us too," he said.

The two of them began to settle into their new lives together.

Both of them loved each other very much. But that didn't mean there were disagreements.

"Dree Elle, please remember to rinse your hair off the soap," Orko said. "It is like washing myself with a hamster," he said.

"Would kill you to put the seat down when you are done?" Dree Elle told him in response. "You know how many times I almost sat down and didn't notice it was up?" She told him.

"We were talking about your hair on the soap, not the toilet seat!" Orko snapped.

"Well we were on the topic of things in the bathroom and I thought we should add that to the conversation," Dree Elle said looking him in the eye.

Orko felt like he might explode. Dree Elle was just about to blow herself. But Orko knew she was right about the tiolet seat. He could be better about remembering to put it down. Dree Elle also knew Orko was right about the soap. She knows when Orko showers before her he rinses his hair off the soap. So she could be better about it when she showers before him or when she is down after him so he can have better shower the next day.

Orko took a deep breath and let it out. Dree Elle did the same thing. "You're right I will try to remember to put the seat down," Orko said.

"I will try to remember to rinse my hair of the soap," Dree Elle said.

"I'm sorry for shouting," Orko said.

"I'm sorry for the snarky comment," Dree Elle said.

Then the two of them hugged and kissed. They came out of the room.

"I heard shouting from ypu two's room is everything alright?" Cringer asked.

"Everything is fine Cringer," Dree Elle said. "We just had a minor disagreement," she said.

"Yes it was just a little argument, but we decided to try to do better about we were arguing about and made up," Orko said.

"Why argue I thought you loved each other?" Jeremy asked. He was visiting.

"Well Jeremy even people who love each other disagree and argue," Adam said.

"That's right even married couples do it," Marlena said. "It is normal and it can happen to anyone," she said.

"Oh," Jeremy said.

Orko and Dree Elle knew this wasn't going to be easy but they knew it was worth it.
