The 1st Night

A man arrives at an abandoned building. It contains a sign with the words he never wanted to see again: Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

"This is going to be a long couple of nights."

(You don't know half of it).

A cop car pulls up, and coming out of it is a woman of the same age as the man. He then feels drawn to the woman with her blond hair, green eyes, pink lips, and figure-fitting purple police uniform. As she steps closer, his heart races, wishing he has something other than his standard blue jeans, purple shirt, and brown jacket to wear. She then stretches her hand out, confusing Mike as he sees her purple-painted nails, and then,

Snap, Snap, Snap!*

She started snapping her fingers, getting him out of his trance. "You awake yet?"

"Oh! Um, yes."

"That's good, come on. We have a tour to see." The cop turns to the entrance.

"Wait!"

"What is it?" the cop asked.

"Couldn't we introduce each other first?"

"Hmm, sure." The cop stretched her hand. "Vanessa J. Fitzgerald"

"Mike Schmidt." Mike accepts it.

"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance, shall we?" The two adults walked into the abandoned pizzeria.

The Main Hall

"Welcome to Freddys. Where fantasy and fun come to life." Vanessa announced as she and Mike entered the main entrance to the main hall, which features a floor with a shiny black-and-white checkered tile pattern, the men's and women's restrooms on the left, the Office is on the right and right in front of them is an oval-shaped underpass with the word "Welcome" above it. At the left and right sides of the underpass are two cartoon-like humans holding balloons; one with a red and blue color scheme and the other with a blue and purple color scheme.

"Balloon holding statues? Well, that's new," Mike thought

The room is lit by a light fixture amongst hanging star decorations on the ceiling. "This place used to be a huge hit in the 80s," Vanessa informs

"Believe me, I know," Mike said solely.

"Oh. The office is right there, but you would want to explore the entire area, right?"

"*sigh* Might as well."

"Follow me." The tour started as eyes from the humans moved to the adults

The Arcade area

Going through the underpass and passing the dining area, Mike and Vanessa are in an area filled with arcade games such as Pizza Simulator, Fruity Maze, Bonnie's Motor Night, Carnival Hoops, Give Gifts, Security Search, BB's Air Adventure, Chica's Party, Foxy Quest, and Freddy's First Stage. Mike stands close to the Foxy Quest game.

"Foxy fan, I see?" Vanessa asked.

"Yeah, he was my favorite character."

"I was under the impression that you don't like Freddy's."

"It's complicated."

"How interesting. My favorite is Bonnie's Motor Night."

"Bonnie, huh? My dad loved him too." A man in a yellow-purple suit flashes in his mind, Mike's face crestfallen.

"Hey," Mike turns to face Vanessa. "Do you want to go somewhere else?"

"Yes, please." The tour continued as two eyes watched Mike and Vanessa from the vents. With fox-like movement, it crawled into another area.

The prize corner

Vanessa leads Mike into a prize corner, full of old toys and video game cartridges. "I believe a change of subject is in order. My favorites were Mario and Sonic. What about you?"

"Me? I'm more of an Atari guy. Have you ever played Adventure?"

"A couple of times. I even uncovered its easter egg."

"Cool! Video games, in general, have been having easter eggs ever since Adventure, and I would play it again and again to escape from my current situ-"

Thud!*

Mike's sentence trails off as he hears a thud. He turns and sees a gift box placed near the supply closet door. Vanessa follows his gaze, walks to the box, and opens it, revealing a sock monkey-like clown.

"What is that?" Mike asked,

"Oh, that's Marion E. Coils, the security puppet clown. She was made for the diner after the incident." Mike then knew what Vanessa meant and went quiet. "If it makes you feel better, the diner shut down after the death of the owner's daughter."

"Makes me feel better? How does that make me feel any- Wait a second, the owner's daughter!?" "What do you-" Vanessa disappeared. "Hey, Wait!" As they leave the box slightly opened with the security puppet clown watching them

The show stage

In front of the game area is the show stage, which has multiple round tables as its house. Mike was able to catch up to Vanessa in that area. "What do you mean by owner's daughter?"

"You mean you didn't know? The owner's daughter died by an assailant whose identity has been unknown to this day."

Mike was even more confused. "the owner's daughter died by an assailant? But that doesn't add up because she was only a baby when she-"

Mike's train of thought was interrupted as Vanessa opened a curtain, revealing a blue rabbit, a yellow bird, and a brown bear. Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy—the stars of the show. "From what I can tell from the story, the shy Freddy Fazbear, and solid but laid-back black Bonnie the bunny were childhood friends, while the beautiful vocalist Chica was the new girl from the country with pet cupcake Carl."

Mike interrupts Vanessa by snickering, "A penny for your thoughts?"

"Oh, sorry, I never understood why you would make an edible object a pet."

"*sigh* This is a kids' place, Mike. Did you seriously forget that?"

"No, but still."

Vanessa rolled her eyes. "Anyway, they have these Hanna-Barbera-like adventures with Foxy the Swift as the wind, Pirate Fox as the antagonist, and Fredbear as the responsible adult."

Another golden animatronic crossed Mike's mind. "Are you missing someone?"

"Huh? Oh yeah. There's this golden version of Bonnie, who was supposed to be on the roster but was cut out. What was its name again? Because I was never confirmed of one, let alone the gender."

"From what I heard, the name's Bonita, and it's a female."

"And you knew how?" Vanessa asked with a raised eyebrow

"An old rumor from my childhood."

"Ah, I see. Now that I think about it, isn't Bonnie a girl's name, and our blue rabbit is supposed to be a male?"

"Yes to both. I didn't see why they could make the blue one female or call him Boone. That way, they can keep the Bonnie name without changing too much."

"Not a bad idea. I think I'll call him Boone from now on." Mike smiles as Vanessa walks to the west. "I know just the place you will like; follow me." Mike follows Vanessa, and unknown best to him, the animatronics shift their eyes to the left as well

Pirate's cove

Mike and Vanessa are in an area similar to the show stage, except it has a jungle gym, a ball pit, and tables. Vanessa opens a stage curtain to reveal a fox. Familial memories flood Mike's mind, but he feels guilty instead of happy.

Vanessa joins him. "People thought that Foxy was scary and somewhat out of place considering how secluded he was."

"Well, every story needs a source of conflict, and Foxy was created for that," Mike said solemnly.

"That is true, but did it have to sing about losing a hand and eye?"

"I believe the creators were a little thorough with that one."

"You don't know the half of it."

"Excuse me?"

"They attempted to redesign Foxy to make him more kid-friendly, to the point where it has this feature of being taken apart and reattached into different areas on the animatronic."

"Sounds like a nightmare to the roboticists."

"It was. That's why they gave up repairs and left it in a mangled mess. It's currently in the parts and service area backstage."

"Now I'm curious about what it looks like."

"You'll get to see it soon, but first, a trip to the third and most appealing stage. The party rooms." The two head east, not noticing Foxy's eyes shifting to the right.

The Party Rooms

The next stop is a big room with three foldable walls and four tables. In front is a stage called the Golden Birthday Circus.

Vanessa unveils the curtains, revealing a golden Freddy. "Now, this brings back memories. Fredbear's was originally a traveling circus with singing and dancing bears until someone turned it into an animal costume-themed restaurant, and that's before talking about Chica's party world changing the game with its robotic animals to the point of buying out Fredbear. Still, regardless of its history, on each birthday, Fredbear, the golden Freddy Fazbear, would dance on stage and interact with the audience, shouting Happy Birthday to the birthday kid and saying: It's me, Fred Fazbear! To the audience it's they either think that the bear is magical, or at its most mundane, that advance in terms of robotics; but in actuality, it's because of the-"

As she looked towards a scared Mike, Vanessa realized what she was about to say: "Sorry. I shouldn't have taken you here."

"What do you mean?"

"You looked so afraid of this animatronic in particular that you might as well be seeing a Terminator."

"No, it's not that. Like I said, it's complicated in the arcade area."

Vanessa closed the curtain and walked towards him. "Hey, I know none of this is my business, but if something bothers you, you could tell me."

"*sigh* It's fine. After all, I leave my emotional baggage at the door when I'm on the job."

"Who the hell told you that? You have things eating at you, and instead of talking, you're hiding *sigh* I wasn't going to say anything, but I've read your file, Michael, and frankly, I know it was an accident."

Mike was speechless, with tears in his eyes. "Really?"

"Yeah. I wasn't there when it happened, but I know you have some regrets or would never turn yourself in. Just stay away from the animatronics and don't bring anyone else in here, and you should be good to go." Overwhelmed by Vanessa's understanding, Mike impulsively hugs her as tears shed, and despite the initial shock, she reciprocates it. "So, you wanna talk about it over some pizza? I ordered some before coming here. The delivery guy should have been here by now."

"Sure. *sniff* but where do we eat it?"

"That's easy. Let's wrap this tour up in the office." Mike and Vanessa walked back to the office, and the golden bear poked his head out from behind the curtain.

The Office

Mike and Vanessa have a few slices in the office. "Ok. So this is where you'll be working. You'll be operating the cameras through this laptop." Vanessa boots up a laptop, revealing camera footage of the pizzeria. "Now, there are these other locations. I wanted to show you in person, but I'll make an exception for you. The last locations are Chica's kitchen, which is behind the door parallel to the one we walked in, the supply closet in the prize room, and the backstage, which leads to the parts and service area."

Mike then sees an animatronic that looks foxy, except this one, in particular, has a white head and a visible endoskeleton. Is that an unfinished head? "Hey, is that the mangled foxy you were talking about?"

Vanessa sees what he sees: "It looks like it. It's even next to the circuit breaker. Use that in case of an electrical malfunction. So I assume Jena Jane told you the basics of the job, right?"

"Yep, just keep the intruders out of the establishment."

"Good, and don't forget to check the vent cameras and use the intercom system to scare off intruders. We had reports of vandalism in this place, and it's about time somebody did something about it. Since the place is abandoned, you are the first night guard; I'll be coming by at the end of the week to check on it with a moving crew by my side. Do you have any questions?"

"Yeah. A moving crew? What for?"

"Oh, you didn't know? Every animatronic in this building is going to this grand opening of a new sister location."

"Wait, so Freddy's is coming back?"

"Yes and no."

"What are you getting at?"

"This," Vanessa shows Mike, a flyer for the sister location

"Fazbear Frights?"

"It's a horror attraction."

"A horror attraction? Why? Freddy is catered for kids."

"The characters fell into the public domain after its permanent closing, meaning that other people can do whatever they want with them, and they want to turn Freddy into Leather Face."

"Now, what kind of sicko takes a kid-friendly character and turns it into a slasher villain?"

"Either a sadistic content creator with a masochistic fanbase or a struggling artist who originally started working on kids' projects only to realize, with the help of the masses, that everything he designed looks creepy and embraced that angel without a care in the world."

"And what's a better way to do it than with animatronics?"

"Exactly. Either way, they're an ax to grind."

"What does that mean?"

"It means they're using the Freddy legacy to benefit themselves; they're the ax, and Freddy's the grindstone."

"As if the family had suffered enough," Mike thought in annoyance

"Any other questions?"

"Just this last one. Do I have to stay in this seat the entire night?"

"Of course not. Feel free to explore the pizzeria as you see fit. Well, I'm stuffed. Am I ready to go?"

"Yeah. Thank you for the tour, Vanessa."

Vanessa chuckled and stretched her hand out. "Call me Vanny."

Mike accepts it. "You got it, Vanny."

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's outskirts

Mike and Vanessa parted ways from the pizzeria. At that time, 11 kids appeared in front of the establishment, their murderous gazes laid on the cars. One child is a curly blonde boy in a Batman-themed T-shirt and black shorts. He growls in the distance.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

A hand is felt on the boy, and he stops growling as he looks towards the leader. Who is a girl in a green shirt, blue overalls, and brown pigtails. She gave him a reassuring smile as the boy slowly smiled back. She looks back to the distance with the same murderous gaze as before

"You won't be able to escape from us, Afton, because this time, you're ours."

Author's notes: Yeah, you read that right, 11. Most new fans assume William killed five kids due to the missing children incident. Still, by taking the incident aside, the man killed Charlotte Emilily out of drunken rage, his daughter out of neglect, and five more kids during FNAF 2. This makes the body count 12. Gabriela, Jermey, Suize, Fritz, Cassidy, Charlotte, and Elizabeth will keep their assigned animatronics; for the remaining 5, well, that's why I've included the mangle and balloon kids. Overall, this first part of the fic will mostly be a fusion of the first six games with bits of the books and the movie sprinkled in, so you might want to get yourself ready for Freddy because I will.
