The Trinity of Tokiwadai

Chapter One Hundred Nine: The Sushestvovanie Island Incident - Initial Phase

Working diligently at her home computer in her apartment, Kazari's fingers moved rapidly as the multiple monitors that had taken over one corner of the room displayed the outputs from the numerous different programs she was running as part of her carrying out her self-appointed duty as the [Goalkeeper] of Academy City. An effort that saw her launching regular attacks on the City's various information systems to test the strength of their security and identify their vulnerabilities that she would then report to the system owners with suggestions on how to rectify them.

Ah, I could really go for some cake. My sugar level is way too low. I should see if Naru-san wants to get some sweets tomorrow. Kazari thought as she glanced at her sweets stash and noticed that it was mostly empty. I need to top up my stockpile.

Ruiko-san was her sister in all but blood and law, a feeling she was sure was reciprocated, and sadly, that meant she was not above exposing her to tough love. Sadly, that meant Ruiko-san was not above exposing her to tough love. Something she demonstrated by limiting how many special cakes she could get at the School Garden, the paradise where Ojou-samas frolicked and drank tea and ate cakes. Yet, as her fellow lover of sweets, Naru-san was more than happy to help her get around Ruiko-san's limitations. The last time, thanks to her blonde friend, she got ten special orders delivered to her door!

I'll have to get her something nice in return. Maybe tickets to some place for her and her girlfriends to visit on a date? I'll have to make a note of that… She thought as she pulled up her calendar app and dutifully added a note to that effect.

Just as she finished, she heard the chime for a notification. Though, glancing at it, she noticed that it was from an app she'd programmed to monitor all her friends' emails and socials to make sure they didn't get anything malicious or dangerous. Though she didn't dare delve into some of the things Kuroko-san and Naru-san had in their inboxes. Not after confirming that they had willingly subscribed to that rather questionable material. It was better for her sanity.

There's a malicious email in Mikoto-san's inbox? Kazari thought as she blinked in surprise at the contents of the notification. The [Railgun] rarely got any of these sorts of things. As the City's most powerful Electromaster, who essentially could, pardon her language, make any electronic system her bitch, only a fool would attempt to target her with a cyberattack. As for getting caught up in broad stroke attacks, the Number 5 was more than skilled enough in cybersecurity to create protections that were sufficient to deal with such attacks.

Which begs the question of where and what this is. Kazari mused as she isolated the flagged email with a few keystrokes before running it through several analysis tools.

She frowned as she read the results they churned out. It didn't contain any viruses or malware, instead it had been flagged for its content. And looking at the tag that her analysis programme had pinned to the suspect email, Kazari's frown deepened.

Explicit content? Kazari thought as she continued to read through the analysis reports. Did Mikoto-san sign up for a pornography subscription or something?

It made some sense, after all she was the only single member of the Trinity. And even Ruiko-san had some subscriptions. Mostly, or at least her best friend claimed, to serve as a source of inspiration for when she made out with her partners.

However, as she got further into the report and noticed that the mail came from a burner account in Denver, she realized that her initial assumption was wrong. Yes, some pornography services tended to spoof their addresses but this wasn't what was happening here. The source of this mail was legitimately posted from a burner account out of Denver. Multiple trackers had confirmed it.

Huh? Then what's going on here? Kazari thought as curiosity getting the better of her, she opened the suspect mail in a safe partition, causing the video it contained to play immediately as it was programmed to. A video whose content caused her face to turn scarlet.

Mikoto arrived at the Trinity base with Kuroko in tow for a meeting that in something of a surprise had been called by Kazari first thing in the morning. Kazari had never called for a meeting, usually it was one of the Trinity that did so. Even Kuroko called for one once or twice when she needed their help to support Judgment for one matter or another. But Kazari? She hadn't asked them for a meeting even once!

"Yo Senpai!" Naru cheerfully greeted them with a wave as they headed to their 'Command Center', a term that Ruiko had insisted on calling the room that they used to support their large-scale operations. It sounded cool enough so they had chosen not to fight her over it. They rarely used it as is, it being only used when they deployed alongside Maniple, Big Spider, or one of their larger subordinate organizations or allies, so the least they could do was give the room a cool name.

"Hi Naru!" "Hello Naru-san." Mikoto and Kuroko respectively returned the greeting and they fell in next to the Number 2 as they continued making their way towards the Command Center.

"So, Naru, do you know what this meeting is about?"

"Sorry, Senpai, but I've no clue." Naru said with a shake of her head. "I'm just as surprised that Kazari called a meeting as I'm sure you are."

Kuroko sighed. "I guess we'll just have to attend the meeting and see what Kazari wants to see us about. We're here."

Mikoto and Naru nodded as they had indeed reached the Command Center.

"Looks like it," Naru said with a shrug.

"Let's just go in." Mikoto said, disappointed that she was going in blind.

As they walked in, they found Ruiko off in a corner, furiously glaring at a computer screen so hard it was a surprise it hadn't melted from the heated gaze. Streams of data ran across it rapidly, going too fast for Mikoto to identify unless she connected herself to it. Meanwhile, Kazari-san was off to the side, pacing the room nervously and sporting dark circles under her eyes. Meanwhile, Frenda-san was in another corner, looking both curious and concerned while eying Ruiko like the Number 3 was about to explode. Wataru-san himself was standing next to the petite Level 0, aiming a coldly furious gaze at the center's main monitor.

"Okay, what happened?" Naru asked, deciding to cut to the chase because clearly yet another Incident had popped up. Joy.

Wincing, Kazari gulped and tugged at the collar of her sailor fuku. "Um, you see, th-the protection software I installed on your emails and socials intercepted an alarming email sent to Mikoto-san with um, c-content that we really have to d-discuss."

"Eh? Was it some death threat or something?" Mikoto asked, as she usually didn't get anything too serious. That was more Kuroko and Naru's alley. They just made enemies more readily than she did.

Before Kazari could reply, Ruiko cut in sharply. "Kazari, you need to show them. They won't believe it otherwise."

The flower crown wearing girl winced, ducking her head and looking miserable. However, with a fortifying breath, she nodded hesitantly. "R-Right."

With reluctance radiating from her body, Kazari moved over to the main workstation and typed a few keys on its keyboard. In response to her commands, a video began to play on the Command Center's main monitor. A long video of Remy Lebeau having an orgy with not just Marie and Eveline… but also three other girls that looked like Naru, Kuroko and Ruiko leashed like pets even as they performed grotesque acts with the man.

Wataru-san quickly averted his eyes from the screen and began cursing LeBeau out under his breath. Making promises to treat the bastard to increasingly brutal and anatomically impossible tortures. On the other hand, Kuroko responded by covering her mouth with her hands, so many emotions flashing across her eyes that Mikoto struggled to read what she was feeling. Well, except for the palpable horror that she radiated. Most strikingly, even when compared to Wataru-san's uncharacteristic anger, Frenda-san let out an angry growl as she instinctively reached under her skirt for the weapons pouches that Mikoto knew she wore hidden underneath. She barely caught herself from pulling out one of the many explosives she was so fond of and violently using them to shut the video down. Instead, she jerked her arms to her side and clenched her fists so tightly as she tried to suppress her anger that her knuckles turned white.

Mikoto herself? She felt as if a blow had struck her heart upon seeing proof that LeBeau had followed through on his threat to create clones of her friends and abuse them like he'd done to his first two clones of her. Bile tickled the bottom of Mikoto's throat at the horrifying sight. It made her weak in the knees and she collapsed into a kneeling position.

"Cut it off." The raw and gravelly voice of Naru instructed Kazari, her eyes burning red hot in her fury.

The tech wiz turned the video off as quickly as possible, face red and uncomfortable.

Eyes still burning red, Naru looked to Ruiko as she asked. "Where's the bastard?"

She was thankful for her kohai asking, Mikoto's tongue felt like lead after seeing such a sickening display.

The [AIM Sovereign] nodded towards the main screen of the Command Center, and with a twinge of Electromastery, a satellite image of an island appeared.

"The scumbag is on Shushestvovanie Island in the Baltic Sea."

"You got us transportation?" The blonde asked, a bloodthirsty smirk spread across her face. Clearly she was already imagining how she would be punishing LeBeau for this flagrant insult towards them.

"Who do you think I am? Of course I did."

Seriously! Are this the kind of things that top tier Dark Side outfits have access to? Or is it just because the Trinity is backed by two different Directors? Kuroko thought as she admired the form-fitting catsuits with built in armor and ballistic resistant weave colored in a stylish mix of black, gold and blue that she and everyone else on the mission were wearing.

Then again, if Sequenzia-san and her Black Crows were any indication, such form fitting combat uniforms were the standard. Then again… Besides the Black Crows, no other Dark Side outfit, not even other paramilitary groups, were equipped like this either. So… Yeah, it was probably just the fact that the Trinity had a crazy amount of resources at their disposal.

Just look at the transportation they were using to get to the Baltic!

Somehow they had managed to secure a seaplane for the trip, and it wasn't just an ordinary plane either. It was specially designed by some of the finest aerospace engineers in Academy City and had advanced stealth capabilities, an onboard state of the art command center and unlike other planes of its type had an operational range that allowed it to fly them all the way from Academy City without any need for stops to refuel.

"Kazari, we're about to land. Are you ready to go? The mission starts the moment that we touchdown."

Glancing out at one of the screens that substituted for windows on their plane, Kuroko saw that Ruiko-san was right. They were indeed coming down for a landing a couple miles off the coast of Sushestvovanie Island just like planned. It was a heavily forested island that was surrounded by thick banks of mist, bordered mostly by sheer cliffs and was dominated by a single castle on a hill on one side of the moderately sized isle. It was all quite picturesque honestly. If only it wasn't the home to a monster like LeBeau…

"Ready and raring to go, Ruiko-san." Kazari replied, offering her best friend an eager smile, as she looked away from the workstation of the command center that she was manning. "I'm all ready to do my part to teach that sicko lech LeBeau a lesson for what he's done."

Ruiko-san nodded. "I can see that. Are you sure you're okay being here instead of staying back in the City with Wataru-san?"

"I'm sure, Ruiko-san." Kazari assured her best friend. "Someone needs to run our onsite CIC (combat information center). Besides, Frenda-san is here to back me up."

"Yup. You can totally count on me, Ruiko-chan." The aforementioned beret loving blonde - she loved the aforementioned headwear so much, she was wearing one despite sporting the same armored bodysuit that the rest of them were and which made it look highly out of place - chirped up in agreement as she walked into the command center where they were in from the cockpit where she had been piloting the now landed plane.

"Besides, it's kinda late to ask that, isn't it, Ruiko-san?" Kuroko asked, shaking her head at her friend.

Ruiko-san shrugged. "I suppose so. I guess I'm just worried about Kazari."

"Aw~! You're a good friend, Ruiko-chan." Frenda-san teased her girlfriend teasingly. "But what about me? Aren't you worried about me?"

The [Multi-Skill] just shook her head in bemusement and pulled the blonde into a deep kiss. A kiss that served to leave Frenda-san wozzy as Ruiko-san stepped away.

"I trust you to be able to take care of yourself. Just like I trusted Accel to stay back in the City to keep our girls safe-"

Kuroko snorted. And to ensure he wouldn't come along and fly off the handle at whatever inevitable provocation that LeBeau throws at us next.

"-I wouldn't ask you to help protect Kazari if I didn't think you could do an exceptional job of it."

Frenda-san just nodded dumbly, still too dazed by the kiss to properly reply.

Smirking at the reaction she got from her girlfriend from a mere kiss, Ruiko-san turned to Kuroko. "Shall we go?"

Kuroko nodded and teleported to the plane's cargo bay, followed moments later by Ruiko-san.

"Come on, Ruiko, Kuroko." Onee-sama said from the deck of a remotely controlled hovercraft that was sitting in the bay. "Let's go already."

"I understand your eagerness, Mikoto-senpai, but we shouldn't rush this. LeBeau has proved himself quite a snake. If we aren't thorough with taking him down, he might just find a way to escape." Ruiko-san warned Onee-sama as she and Kuroko teleported onto the hovercraft's deck to join her.

"She's right, Senpai." Naru-san said from where she was leaning against a bulkhead near the rear of the hovercraft.

Onee-sama huffed. "Fine. I'll slow down, but only because I want to be absolutely sure that we take LeBeau down."

"Don't worry, Onee-sama. We will take that scum down." Kuroko tried to assure Onee-sama as Ruiko-sama addressed Kazari.

"Kazari, we're ready to go. You can open the doors and get us going."

"Yup. Got it." Kazari replied over the plane's intercom.

"Of course we will, Kuroko. We won't accept anything less." Onee-sama said with a nod as the doors to the cargo bay began to open.

"No, we won't." Naru-san agreed as the hovercraft began to make its way out of the plane and into the Baltic Sea.

It was time to give Remy LeBeau a taste of the Trinity's revenge.

Some time earlier…

Remy LeBeau sat within his extravagant office working on his paperwork. And even as his pen scratched away at the documents, his free hand stroked the head nestled between his lap. A head that belonged to one of his new clone dolls. Which one, he didn't bother to know as they liked to surprise him by drawing straws.

As he tended to, upon finishing his task for the day - today that involved going over his budget for the past month -, he sat back and relaxed to enjoy his well deserved reward.

"You know what to do." Remy ordered the doll in his lap. Unnecessarily so as the girl had taken his leaning back as the prompt that it was and began unzipping his pants to begin giving him fellatio. And as he enjoyed his little creation's ministrations, his sharp mind conjured up the many depraved things he should try next with his harem and what of it he should send to his dear friend Mikoto.

Maybe some bondage? Or possibly some bloodletting? Or could I have them defecate into each other's mouth? Ah, the possibilities!

He was broken from his pleasurable plans by Marie walking in, wearing nothing of course.

The clone smiled at him beatifically and delivered wonderful news. "The Trinity are on their way, my love."

"Excellent." He smirked in anticipation, steepling his fingers.

It was time to put those bitches in their place.

Landing on one of the few sandy beaches hidden between the cliffs that bordered Sushestvovanie Island, the Trinity and Kuroko couldn't help but glare at the castle that loomed off in the distance and overlooked the deserted beach.

Clearly this madman's ego knows no bounds. Kuroko scoffed in disgust, knowing that LeBeau was no doubt hiding in that stone fortress like the filthy vile rat that he was.

As they disembarked from their hovercraft, the Teleporter could not help but think that the silence that surrounded them was near deafening. There was no sign that their presence had even been noticed. Save for the sounds of nature such as the gentle winds that occasionally wiped up the sand of the beach and the rolling of the distant waves, there was no sound whatsoever.

Yet Kuroko couldn't shake the feeling that something, anything could happen at the drop of a hat.

And as if she had precognition, the Level 4's worry came true.

In explosions of sand, dozens of giant crabs emerged from the hidden burrows they had dug into the beach and began crawling towards them. The massive crustaceans were each the size of a small car and whilst recognizably crabs, were also quite a departure from an average example of such creatures. Unlike the generally smooth, segmented carapace that characterized crabs, the shells of the abominations seemed to be made out of hundreds of segments that seemed almost haphazardly welded together. Furthermore, instead of crab-like mouthparts, these twisted monsters instead possessed massive fang filled maws that combined with their relatively normal looking eyes to give them a scowling face.

"Eviscerate them!" Naru-san barked out, already blazing forward in a burst of speed and slamming feet first through one of their crustacean foes, making it explode into a shower of gore.

Leave it to the typical vanguard of the Trinity to start things off with a bang. Kuroko thought as she saw Naru blitz through more of the crabs, a cloak of energy around her body as she moved like a pinball between bursts of gore. She was clearly working through the heightened aggression that had been triggered by LeBeau's provocative video.

Onee-sama and Ruiko-san didn't leave things entirely to their teammate though. Even as the Number 2 burst into action, with electricity dancing around her body, Onee-sama pulled iron sand from the sand of the beach and had it coil around her like an angry viper. A viper that she had repeatedly lash out at the crab monsters, skewering dozens of them at a time. Ruiko-san on the other hand was a touch more methodical in her dealings as using applications of Pyrokinesis, she consumed several of the crabs in bursts of roaring flames, roasting them into screeching masses of charred flesh.

It wasn't the first time that Kuroko had seen the Trinity use their power to massacre their foes, but this display was nevertheless something else. Usually they were more controlled, less prone to the dramatic attacks they were currently using. So impressive was a furious Trinity that Kuroko could do nothing more but stand there and look at them in awe.

"Kuroko! Don't just stand there! Help out, would you!?" Onee-sama scolded, metaphorically shocking her out of her awed daze.

"A-Ah! Yes!" She said with a startled flinch and hastily brushed two of the explosive nails she had wrapped around her thighs and teleported them right into the mouths of two crabs. They exploded a moment later, making the crustaceans' heads burst open like balloons. Her explosive nails didn't have the yield to take the monsters out as dramatically as her friends but she could still take them down. She thus did her best to play her part and repeated the process with her nails over and over again.

Through their combined efforts, they soon massacred dozens of their monstrous foes. That seemed to be all of them as no more crawled up from the island's sands to halt their progress after that.

"Impressive." A voice that was practically indiscernible from her own said from down the beach. "But then again, I expected nothing less from the infamous Trinity and my progenitor."

Turning to its source, Kuroko found herself staring at a doppelgänger of herself. Not only did she look physically identical to her, but she even wore her hair in the exact same style as her own. A copy of herself that she had last seen wearing nothing but a leash and being violated by LeBeau in that horrid video he'd sent to Onee-sama as a taunt. Thankfully, she was dressed this time. Though her choice of clothing was not much better. Not when she was dressed in nothing but a blue lingerie nightdress with spaghetti straps, mesh cups for its built-in bra, and a hemline so short that it barely covered her groin. Along with a collar - with a name tag of all things dangling from it as a mark of property and submission - that was snug around her neck, was the totality of what she was wearing. In winter!

Was she insane!? Kuroko couldn't help but think even as saw through the mesh bra that her clone was wearing that the winter was very much affecting her and had caused her nipples to visibly harden. Oh right! She's a glorified bioroid sex doll.

"I am Shiro and I hereby challenge my progenitor to a duel." The scantily dressed clone of her said in perfect Japanese as she pointed at her. "Face me, Shirai Kuroko! Unless that is, you are a coward!"

Kuroko knew that she should decline. That she should team up with Onee-sama and the rest of the Trinity to take this Shiro clone down hard and fast. But… Her pride didn't allow her to do that. She couldn't stand someone with her face, or anyone really, challenging her and her not answering it.

"Onee-sama, you and the others go ahead. I'll deal with this copy-paste imposter." Kuroko said with a ugly sneer she just couldn't keep off of her face. She was truly disgusted by this fake.

The Trinity exchanged a look, silently having a conversation before Onee-sama finally nodded. "Alright. Catch up as soon as you can, Kuroko."

"I will." Kuroko assured her beloved roommate.

"Then we will go now." Ruiko-san said as she moved over to put a hand on Onee-sama's arm and teleported them further into the island towards the castle where LeBeau surely awaited.

"Kick her ass ASAP, Kuroko-chan. We expect to see you soon." Naru-san said, directing a glare towards Shiro-san before teleporting to join the rest of the Trinity.

"Kuroko-san, I'll support you from-"

"No," Kuroko said, cutting her Judgment partner off. "This is my fight. I want to handle this on my own."

"... Are you sure, Kuroko-san?"

"I'm sure." Kuroko replied with a confident nod.

"Alright, Kuroko-san. Take her down."

"I intend to." Kuroko confirmed, shooting her clone a look that she hoped conveyed how determined she was to defeat her.

"Fufu, so confident. I'd admire it if it wasn't so foolish!" The clone, Shiro-san, mocked with an ugly grin.

Ugh, seeing her face like that and this attitude! How profane!

"Let's just get this over with!" Kuroko shouted angrily as she played her hands over a number of the nails tied to her thighs, teleporting three of her tranquilizer nails at her doppelgänger.

Why three? Well, she had little doubt that this Shiro girl would evade her attack. Her moving a hand to the bands full of her various nails strapped to her thighs wasn't easy to hide and clearly telegraphed the fact that she was about to attack. Two were thus aimed towards stiking true if she evaded in the most likely ways Kuroko thought she might and one last nail was for the unlikely chance that her doppelgänger did not evade at all.

"Such a weak probing attack? I'm disappointed." Shiro-san said with an unimpressed snort as she used Electromastery to generate a relatively weak beam of green energy that she recognized as a Particle-Function Waveform High Speed Cannon to launch herself skyward to move her out of the coordinates where Kuroko had teleported her nails, thus allowing her to evade the attack.

Kuroko shrugged as she teleported a dozen iron nails at her opponent. With her proving able to evade her attacks using her relatively scarce specialty nails when there was little chance for a direct hit was wasteful. Particularly when, in the interest of not dealing permanent harm by having one of her nails appear somewhere vital inside her opponent's body, she'd deliberately did her best to make sure they materialized somewhere where they wouldn't even pierce her. Her attack was more of an attempt to put some pressure on her clone than one designed to score a proper hit. Better to save her bespoke nails for a chance when she was more certain of a successful hit. "What can I say? It's a probing attack. There's no need to try too hard for one of those."

Besides, it's told me plenty about you. Kuroko mused with a smirk as she went through what she'd figured out from their opening exchange. Despite appearances, she doesn't possess my ability. I guess that makes sense, duplicating an Esper's ability via cloning is notoriously difficult. That the Sisters managed it is entirely because of Radio Noise allowing them to share their computational power and brute force things.

"Hey! No getting distracted!" Shiro-san shouted back angrily as she gathered together plasma into a pair of green orbs on either side of her head as she landed from her short beam assisted jump and shot the coalesced charged particles at Kuroko as two Particle-Function Waveform High Speed Cannon shots.

I doubt she has access to Radio Noise but that the Sisters can use Electromastery means that scientists have plenty of data to work with to get other clones of Onee-sama to develop their abilities. Kuroko thought as she teleported out of the way of the beams shot at her. Beams that were the fruit of all the data garnered from the Sisters and now seemingly more broadly applied to all of Onee-sama's clones. And I imagine that based on how she is imitating [Meltdowner], LeBeau took notes from her Power Development too.

"I wasn't distracted. Just processing what I've learned about you." Kuroko shot back as Shiro-san continued to shoot Particle-Function Waveform High Speed Cannon beams at her. Beams that she evaded using a series of teleports.

From what I can observe, her beams lack the firepower of the Number Six which since she's a Level 5 is to be expected. Kuroko mused as she finally began to counterattack by teleporting another dozen or so iron nails at her doppelgänger that annoyingly, the other girl evaded by using a beam to shoot herself out of the coordinates that she'd targeted. Though with her rate of fire, she's got quite the destructive capability. She's Level 4 at least.

"Oh? What did you figure out?" Shiro-san asked as she landed and upped the ante of her barrage. It still fell far short of what [Meltdowner] was capable of but it was nevertheless quite impressive.

"Do you honestly expect me to tell you?" Kuroko asked as she teleported behind Shiro-san and physically swung a fist closed around one of her tranquilizer nails at the clone's neck. Calculating the exact coordinates to teleport her nails into a target as they tried to evade her attack wasn't easy and required massive computations that even with that would still have a high probability of failure. That is, if she didn't want the nails to end up somewhere fatal or miss entirely. Determining where she would roughly end up and teleporting herself in a position to surprise her opponent? That was much more feasible.

"What!? Wha-" Her doppelgänger shouted in surprise as Kuroko stabbed her tranquilizer nail into her neck. She immediately spun around to face Kuroko but it was too late, the hypodermic needle built into the nail had already automatically dispensed its contents into her bloodstream.

"And that is what resources get you. Hmph!"

"I-I won't lo-lose so easily!" The clone shouted defiantly as she swayed unsteadily on her feet. "I-I'm ta-taking you with me!"

With that defiant shout, Shiro-san unleashed a massive electric surge.

Caught by surprise, Kuroko failed to teleport out of the way and she was shocked by her doppelgänger's last gesture. With how often Onee-sama shocked her, she was used to being electrocuted but despite appearances, whenever she shocked her, Onee-sama never exposed her to anything too powerful. Shiro-san had no such restraint and thus her electric surge easily overpowered Kuroko's resistance.

"Argh~! Damn!" Kuroko cursed as she stumbled backwards before tripping and collapsing onto her back. "S-Should've been more careful. A-At least I took her out f-first."

Seeing the crumpled form of her defeated opponent a short distance from her was proof of that and was a small comfort. Though considering she was looking at a scantily clad clone of herself, it was a cold one. Shiro-san's very existence was upsetting to her.

As if to add insult to that injury, just as Kuroko's vision began to darken and she lost consciousness, there was an explosion of sand nearby. An explosion from which emerged one of the monstrous giant crabs that had attacked when they first landed on the island and even as Kazari worriedly called out to her, it began scuttling towards her.

Darn! There was one left…

Leaving Kuroko-san behind, Ruiko and her Trinity teammates had continued making their way to the castle that dominated Sushestvovanie Island and which served as Remy LeBeau's headquarters. However, their journey was not unhindered. Just as they dropped out of one of the series of teleports that they were using to close the distance with their destination and rematerialized along a road that cut through the island's thick forest, they were suddenly beset by a hail of machine gun fire.

"Ambush!" Naru shouted as she teleported herself and Mikoto-senpai out of the way of the crossfire from at least four different machine guns directed their way.

"Everyone! I'm still deploying my Flies into the area," Kazari told them over the radio as a missile detonated in a controlled explosion overhead and unloaded their payload of her best friend's drones. "But based on what I'm seeing so far, you're up against two dozen Tyrant-type B.O.W.s (Bio Organic Weapons)."

"Yes, there's twenty four of them." Ruiko confirmed as she let the streams of gunfire from the minguns that the Tyrants were armed with and that were aimed her way deflect harmlessly off the barriers she'd conjured around herself as she used her various emulated sensory abilities to survey their hidden positions in the surrounding forest. "Do you have a read on their positions, Kazari?"

"Yup. Leave coordination of the battle to me, Ruiko-san. You just need to focus on fighting." Kazari assured her even as a lightning bolt shot down from the sky and cooked a pair of the gray skinned, eight feet tall, well muscled humanoids dressed in bulky armored trench coats and thick leather suits that were the Tyrant-type B.O.W.s attacking them.

"Okay. I'll leave that to you, Kazari." Ruiko allowed as she waved a hand towards the nearest pair of Tyrants - they all seemed to be operating in pairs - and used the gesture as a mnemonic to conjure a wave of destructive plasma that disintegrated everything in its path, petering out only after reducing the Tyrants to ash.

"Right. Okay, here are the positions of the enemies based on Ruiko-san's position. Fifteen meters to your left in the forest-" Kazari said, reeling off the various positions of the Tyrants for Ruiko and her teammates.

"Why are we even fighting these things!?" Naru-chan whined as she teleported in beside Ruiko and breathed out a fire tornado that she directed to consume two pairs of Tyrants, incinerating them, whilst the [AIM Sovereign] extended her protective barriers so that they shielded her blonde friend as well from the unrelenting streams of lead shot their way from the surviving ambushers. "We could just teleport our way past this little ambush!"

"And risk them attacking us from the rear later?" Ruiko asked as she rained a barrage of particle beams to kill another pair of Tyrants whilst in the distance Mikoto-senpai called down a trio of lightning bolts from the clear sky to take out another six Tyrants. All thanks to Kazari providing them with precise details on where to find them.

"You know Ruiko's right, Naru." Mikoto-senpai chimed over the team coms.

"Fine~!" Naru-chan whined in a playful, exaggerated manner. "We're almost done with them anyways."

"There's only eight of them left." Kazari informed them.

"Take them all out at once?" Ruiko suggested.

"Yes!" Mikoto-senpai agreed over the radio. "Kazari-san, please do the countdown."

"Got it!" Kazari agreed readily. "Three!"

Without even exchanging looks, much less words, Ruiko began cooperating with Naru-chan to gather together a roaring fireball above their heads.

"Two!"

The sight of the raging inferno that they were conjuring didn't go unnoticed and the surviving Tyrants turned all their fire towards them. A hail of bullets that were effortlessly blocked by a combination of Ruiko's barriers and walls of earth that Naru-chan raised out of the ground to supplement them.

"One! Finish them!"

"Did you get her into Mortal Kombat?" Naru-chan asked as they unleashed their gathered flames in eight white lances of fire that were matched by an equal number of lightning bolts from the sky. A combined attack by the Trinity that easily dealt with the last of the Tyrants.

"Nope. She picked it up herself. You know how much she likes fighting games."

"A likely story." Mikoto-senpai said with a disbelieving shake of her head as she made her way out of the forest where Naru-chan had left her to rejoin them on the road.

"It's the tru-"

"Everyone!" Kazari cut in, sounding embarrassed and clearly trying to shift things away from her gaming habits. "Kuroko-san just took out her clone."

"That's good. She'll be able to join us soon." Mikoto-senpai said, breathing a sigh of relief.

"What no faith in Kuroko-san, Senpai?" Naru teased.

Before the [Railgun] could reply, Kazari, perhaps out of the intention to play peacemaker, cut in. Though the urgency of her tone suggested there might've been more to her interruption to their friends' usual teasing byplay. "More importantly! Based on the readings I'm getting from her suit, Kuroko-san is unconscious. Worse, her body cam footage suggests she's been captu-"

Ruiko's best friend cut herself off when her radio feed was suddenly filled with the shrill shrieks of an alarm.

"Wha-" The computer whiz managed before the radio link abruptly switched to static for a moment and then went completely silent.

""Kazari!"" Naru-chan and Mikoto-senpai shouted in alarm.

"I am worried about Kuroko-san too. Just before she was cut off, it sounded like Kazari was about to tell us that she'd been captured." Ruiko observed with a frown even as she stretched her array of emulated powers in a bid to see what was going on.

Damn it! I can't get a visual! The fog around the island is too thick for the spy satellites I can access. Ruiko cursed as she was forced to instead rely on other senses. Senses that were annoyingly also being jammed by extensive countermeasures that were being deployed by the enemy attacking the plane. Even her AIM senses were being jammed! There was a low-level AIM field being artificially generated that covered the whole island that wasn't enough to disrupt their powers but was certainly enough to make tracking any individual signatures difficult. It was similar to AIM Jammer but different enough that she was having trouble filtering out the interference. It was why she hadn't been able to detect Kuroko-san's clone before she surprised them on their landing beach. As it was, she was getting the best information from her thermal senses, but even these were unclear and were simply able to let her know that something massive was currently attacking their plane. The plane that Frenda-chan and Kazari were on.

"The plane is under attack." Ruiko announced to her teammates. "I can't tell exactly what it is though. We're too far away for my own sensory abilities to make things out, particularly considering the enemy's countermeasures, and the fog is interfering with what the spy satellites I've hacked into are detecting."

And this is why I'm so annoyed that I can't figure out how to emulate Iizumi-san's Predator!

With the Scavenger leader's wide-area Clairvoyance, she wouldn't be having such problems.

"I'm going to go investigate."

Naru-chan nodded. "We'll keep heading towards LeBeau's castle. If Kuroko-san has been captured, that's likely where he'll take her. He seems the type to want his prisoners brought to him so he can gloat about taking them captive face-to-face."

"That sounds like the ass." Mikoto agreed. "Ruiko, go check on Kazari-san and Frenda-san. We'll meet back up with you at the douchebag's castle."

"I'll keep an eye out for Kuroko-san on the way to the plane too." Ruiko told her teammates as she let herself float into the air using a combination of Float Dial to manipulate her buoyancy and Telekinesis to levitate. She would've preferred teleporting straight to the plane but teleporting over large water bodies, even using short hops like was the norm for all long distance teleportation, was inadvisable. There was simply too much risk of becoming exhausted mid journey and ending up falling into the water.

"We'll do the same for Kazari-san and Frenda-san." Mikoto-senpai said, implying what all of them suspected: that like Kuroko-san, their friends on the plane had been taken prisoner.

The alternative didn't even bear contemplating.

"Thank you."

"Go already!" Naru-chan urged, exasperated.

Offering her teammates a grateful nod for allowing her to run off on them like this, Ruiko turned and calling on some Aero Hand began flying as quickly as her powers allowed towards their beleaguered plane. She had to find out what happened to her girlfriend and best friend!

Done and done! Thanks to Nameless as always!

And so begins yet another arc starring one of our most hated (clearly hentai based) villains! Guess he and his now extended harem are back! And now he's got the DNA Maps of Mikoto's other friends and doing *bleep* and *bleep* to them. Time to ax this deadman!

Nameless: Whelp! LeBeau has decided to cash in on his threat to Mikoto the first time he was captured. If you forgot, back in Chapter 49 in the midst of Mikoto arresting him, he promised to make a whole new batch of clones that look like Mikoto's friends and "give each of them the experience of their tiny lifetimes". Wonder how that will pan out for him. XD
