Sarah crash landed on a planet named batuu, or so she thought. It was late at night, the streets covered in darkness with only a lamp or two on. It was quiet, no one to be Sean, you could hear a pin drop.
Hoping out of her beat up x-wing, she hoped to find a way of refueling her ship. She had come in at. She didn't really remember how she got here, but did remember the rough landing. The gravitational pull was much stronger than she expected, causing the ship to become damaged in the process, especially since it was practically empty upon re-entry.
Once out she began strolling through the streets, but no one seemed to be around. It was quiet, a bit too quiet for her likening. She continued walking, even knocking on doors and shouting "hello?" But there was no answer. She walked and walked until she realized something changed. Reaching the edge of batuu, she realized the scenery had changed. It had gone from rocky spiers to some Wild West show.
"What the?" She noticed a huge mountain in front of her of the likes she had never Seen. The mountain was big Thunder, known to be the wildest ride in the wilderness.
"Something tells me I'm not on batuu." Sarah muttered to herself.
She continued walking through the park, passing some sort of cartoon-like train surrounded by a canal with little villages. Then passed colorful elephants connected to some sort of machine.
"What is this place?" She wondered.
Eventually she saw some sort of rabbit wearing a red jack. It hopped past some sort of giant tea cups. "I'm late, I'm late, for my reservation I'm late" the rabbit called loud enough for her to hear.
"Excuse me!" Sarah called out "please wait up I just have a quick question!" Sarah then rushed after the rabbet. After following the rabbit for a good 10 minutes she was led into a maze of cartoon looking builds of various shapes and sizes. Taking several turns through the odd world, she Eventually saw the rabbit jump through a blue portal. She watched as it dispersed into the portal.
Sarah stepped up, astonished at the technology on this planet. 'Maybe this was their version of hyperspace or something' she wondered as she stuck her hand though. Sending that nothing bad was on the other side she jumped though. Hoping that maybe, she could finally get some help.
As she crossed to the other side, she landed on what seemed to be a street. But something was off about the place. As she looked around, everything looked to be out of a cartoon, especially the building in front of her. As she looked up, she saw a bright big building that looked to be a theater of some sort. A sign hung on the side reading "house of mouse."
There was also a strange cartoon man sitting on the step outside. He looked to be half human, half dog, looking to be the age of a high schooler or collage student. He was wearing a white shirt with a red vest and black bow tie with gray pains. Hoping he could possibly help her, she approached the half human half dog.
"Hello?" Sarah asked as she walked up to the creature.
The half dog, half human looked up at her with wide eyes. He had never Sean someone like her come through the portal before. Not wanting to be rude he introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Max goof. Chauffeur here at the house of mouse and son of goofy. Is there something I can do for you ma'am?" He asked confused, getting to his feet. He was a lot taller in person, standing maybe a foot or so taller than Sarah's five foot stature.
"My name is Sarah, I'm currently looking for some help. You see my ship crashed on batuu, or at least I thought that was were I was-"
"I'm sorry did you just say you crash landed on batuu?" Max asked.
Sarah nodded "any ways, maybe you can tell me where I am and help me find a new ship to get off this strange planet?"
"Well for starters you're in Disneyland located in Anaheim California. Currently you are in the world between reality and animation. Well specifically the house of mouse where almost all the characters come to hang out." He looked her up and down "and by the looks of it, I'm assuming you're a newcomer?"
Sarah gave a ruffled brow "newcomer, no I need to get off this planet. You see me and my sister, we were separated almost a year ago. I'm trying to find her. Now if you could just-"
"Sarah, I'm sorry but I don't think you can get off this planet. You see there's strange rules about how this place works. Besides, why did you come down here anyways, none of the other non Disney ips ever head down this way."
Sarah rolled her eyes. Realizing this conversation was going nowhere she pulled back the left side of her robe revealing her lightsaber. "Listen pal, you really don't want to-"
Maxes eyes wided at the sight of the lightsaber "your a Jedi?!?,"
Sarah put a finger to her lips as her robe ruffled back, hiding her lightsaber once again. "Shh, I don't want the wrong people finding out!"
"I think I might know someone who can help you" he turned and gestured for her to follow. Sensing there wasn't any danger, she followed the boy inside.
As she passed though the glass doors, she noticed the colorful entryway splatters in colors of red, blue, and yellow. There was a mirror mounted on the wall and a counter with a duck behind it typing away on a computer. It wasent intill she noticed the two walking up to the counter that she spoke.
"Hay max, is this a new girl friend?"
"No Daisy, I'm still with Roxanne. Hay have you seen Mickey?"
At this point, Sarah's head began to spin. Sure she had seen some strange things in life but this was on a whole new level.
"Last I saw him, he was backstage getting ready for tonight."
Max then grabbed Sarah by the hand shouting "thanks dasie."
They dashed past tables full of animated cartoon characters. Some dressed like royalty, others seemed to be animals. Sarah gave a confused expression as they made it backstage.
She noticed a half human half mouse creature in a white shirt with a back jacket and skirt. A purple bow and heels compliment her outfit.in her hand held a clipboard with a rather old looking phone of some sort. It wasn't long before she noticed the two.
"Max, you know non-staff members can't be backstage!" She said rather calmly as she tried to shew Sarah away.
Max intervened by putting himself in between the two. "Minnie you don't understand. She needs to talk to Mickey." He then bent down and whispered in her ear something Sarah couldn't hear.
She watched as Minnie's face perked up with surprise. "How did she get in then, I though we had all of them blocked out after the last time."
"Last time?" Sarah questioned "listen I'm not here to cause trouble, I'm just trying to get home."
Minnie looked up at Max "did you tell her?"
Max shook his head "I tried but she won't listen, I was hoping Mickey might be able to sort things out."
Minnie rolled her eyes "fine just follow me." She then turned and began walking further backstage. The two followed her to a door that read "Mickey" on it. Minnie opened the door revealing a mouse similar to Minnie except he was in back paints and purple flats with no bow. Another was a tall man in a blue robe with a grey beard with a blue hand with white stars. One of wich, she presumed was Mickey.
"Minnie, I told you not to disturb me." The mouse said as he turned to the trio. He raised an eyebrow when he saw Max and a random girl. "What with the crowd?"
"Sorry Mickey but we had a complication with one of the Star Wars foks, this time she got through the portal." Minnie said as she stepped aside allowing Sarah into the room."
"The prophecy!" The old wizard who's name was Yensid.
"The what?" everyone else asked.
Yensid moved his hand to reveal a pen in one hand and a watch in the other. Sarah's eyes lit up at the magic she just witnessed. It was unlike anything she had come across on her journey to find her sister.
"Are those, Walt's items?" Mickey asked.
Yensid nodded "indeed my young apprentice. What I'm about to show you can not be shown or spoken to anyone outside of this room." They all nodded as Yensid continued.
He took the pen and unscrewed the tip. From there he attached it to the watch. It sparkled and glowed for a moment before turning into a key. Everyone was entranced by what had just occurred before their eyes.
"This my friends is the key to the kingdoms power. As you almost all know underneath sleeping beauty's castle lies the key to our existence, the wishing Star.
Sarah raised a brown one again, how could a star keep people alive. "I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with me?" She asked.
"As for you my dear." Yensid said as he looked at the young Jedi girl. "You are the one who has been stated to protect this realm from harm. It was stated a young maiden for another world would show up in a time of need and I believe that time is now."
Sarah blinked for a moment "protect, from what? you guys have all these strange magical powers, why need me?"
"Because you are supposedly the one who will save our kingdom from harm. It was stated you would come in the kingdoms time of need, meaning there must be something stirring inside the kingdom." He began stoking his beard as if her where lost in thought "I must go and check the star, make sure there's one evil lurking."
"Evil? star? What's going on?" Sarah questioned in a bit of a panic.
"All will be revealed in time child, but for now i must go and check on the star." And with that he pushed past the group of people leaving to ponder on this new relivation. And Sarah winding what she had just gotten herself into.
