"Sonic, you may he a mornibg guy asking with Tails, but I'm not pkys Maria and I need more sleep." Shadow mumbled. It was an early Autumn mornibg and shadow was getting used to having the alternate Maria in his life but thinking of her as his Maria but right now, Sonic had woken them up as he and Tails weee going back to school so after sonic left for school, he could rest a bit more along with Maria however her bedfur and quills made her look adorable unaware he was blushing making Tails ask if he was okay thinking he might be burning up making Sonic chuckle at this knowing what was going on with Shadow involving Maria.
"Yeah he's fine, he's feeling feelings for Maria." Sonic whispered to him making Maria giggle at this along with Shadow's reaction but saw him pouring coffee beans into a bowl making Maria curious about this. She wondered why he was eating that for breakfast when he could have cereal or toast making Sonic shrug his shoulders
"He eats them for breakfast, Maria. Maybe you can helo with that." Sonic told her making the female orange-furred hedgehog smirk. "I don't want to change anything about him." she told him making Shadow smile at this seeing her eating cereal like Sonic and Tails surprising Tom and Maddie thinking she'd be eating coffee beans with Shadow hoping she'd get him to moderate between coffee beabs and cereal seeing her nod.
"I'll try guys, baby steps though." Maria told them. She knew her boy hada strong will but was drinking coffee but with milk but not glack coffee like Shadow seeing Sonic and Taiks grabbing backpacks and leaving the house with Tom majing Maria curious about this making Shadow roll his eyes. "Tom is a cop and Maddie is a vet helping animals." he told her making Maddie grin at his words knowing he would want to show her around the town seeing him nodding plus he didn't need keys as he could use chaos control himself into the house making Maria impressed as they left the house hoping Sonic didn't cause too much shenigans or end up in the office grabbing her keys leaving the house seeing Knuckles on the roof mediating relieved he wouldn't turn the living room into a fighting arena again or turn the new car into another iron throbe which had made Shadow confused until Maddie had explained which had stunned him.
"Tell Knux tonight is League Night, Maddie." Wade told her seeing her nod. "I will Wade." Maddie told him getting into her and Tom's car driving off making Shadow smile as he and Maria got on his motorcycle leaving the house driving around Green Hills showing Maria around the town unaware people wwre curious about Maria but Shadow sighed
He didn't care what others thought of him but noticed it was raining heavily making Maria worried about this seeing him shrug as they were going to get coffee to warm up which was Maria's idea seeing him park the Dark Rider outside the diner as they were going inside and getting a booth making her giggle, hearing Shadow's stomach growl making her chuckle ordering pancakes besides coffee. "That's why we don't have coffee beans for breakfast, Shadow but I get it." Maria toldhim.
"Whoa, he's asleep, as it normally takes a fight to get him to rest." Maria heardSonic say. It was later that afternoon and he and Tails were back from school noticing the house was quiet plus Knuckles was in the foorest training. "We had a good morning, then after we got home, he took a shower because he got soaked to the furry bone because it was raining heavily. Then we were cuddling on the bed and he fell asleep." Maria told him as they were having a snack.
